Upon Arrival... Written in 3rd person perspective "What a gloomy day."
Shija sighed as she strolled across the white, now rather ghostly pale, beach of the Shinkami shore. "Looks like a storm is coming. The birds kept telling me so."
The girl tilted her head to the side so she could see the rather tall woman beside her. "We should go back, Marie."
The young woman beside Shija chuckled. "I see you don't like stormy weathers." She shrugged, and rubbed on Shija's hair with one of the hands. "Chill, the wind's pretty strong, the clouds will disappar in no time."
"You are always so cheerful." The shorter girl sighed, and turned her sight to the beach. "It's close to summer, this could be the first thunder---"
Shija's words were cut short midway as her mouth stopped. Something had obviously caught her attention, and she didn't bother to hide her surprise as her eyes widened. Suddenly looking back at Marie, Shija pointed a finger in the direction of a rather rocky shore not far off from where the two was standing. "---what is that?"
Marie didn't answer Shija, for she too, had seen the strange figure that was washed up by a wave of seawater. Instead, she started running toward it, trying to get a better look at the object. Shija followed, and it didn't take long before the two realized what it really was...
"Oh my goodness..."
Laying in front of them was a young man around their age. Well-built and handsome, the young man looked as if he was only sleeping. His skins were perfect without a scratch. But one could easily tell that he had been in the ocean...for sometime. Two hours, three hours...a whole day, or perhaps more than a week even. The two girls exhanged a shocked glance at each other, and both of them bent down at the same time to check up on the young man, who was obviously unconscious.
"Is he alive?" Shija asked, moving her fingers closer to his nose for possible breath. Marie, bent down on the other side, and put her ear close to the youth's chest, checking for heartbeat.
"He's alive alright, just barely though." Marie replied, shaking her head. "we should get the doctors down here immediately."
Shija nodded and stood up, heading for her hut where she could call the school administrators. Marie, on the other hand, stayed with the young man. Her eyes remained wide as she scanned the young man as a whole.
"A miracle..."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The white haired and overly ethusiastic doctor arrived almost too quickly, and, with the help of several workers, including Shija and Marie themselves, brought the young man onto the vehicle and sped back to the school. The young man was brought into the emergency room, where Lorioth gave a through check up on the young man's condition. He raised an eyebrow, those timid green eyes looked in doubt as he turned to the two girls.
"It doesn't seem that his lungs were filled with water, which means he was okay and not drowning..."
The two girls looked at one another, and both breathed a sigh of relief.
"We found him on the beach, so he was washed up here..."
"I see. But from all I can tell, the only thing he's suffering from is exhaustion. I will perform a scann of his other internal organs to make sure nothing's broken though. Thank you for your help." Lorioth gave the girls a gentle smile, and turned back to the young man. The girls, now relieved and smiling, paid a farewell to the good doctor, and each left for their own places to rest. Lorioth remained with the young man for the whole night, staring him in wonder about how a human being survived in that deep ocean of Shinkami.
And the next morning, when Lorioth woke up, he was confronted with an awakened young man, who looked more confused than worried.
"Where am I?" The young man asked, his voice hoarse from just waking up.
Lorioth blinked. He then gawked as the young doctor could not help but to find shocking about the young man's eyes---or rather, eye, for his right lacked an eyeball in the hollow socket. The doctor immediately shook his head and blushed for staring. He stood up from his chair, where he'd have slept in for the entire night, and smiled at the young man.
"It's okay, you are safe. You are at the school of Shinkami...the coast guards found you and---"
"Shinkami? Where is that? And what do you mean the coast guards found me? Was I drowning? Where...where was I before then? How did I---"
Lorioth blinked again at the young man's quiet ramblings. "You...don't know how you got here?"
"No." The young man replied, shaking his head. He then pressed one of his hand against his forhead. "I don't...I don't remember...who am I?"
So there was some damage after all. The good doctor sighed, and looked at the young man, putting his hands on the other's arms as a means of comfort. "It's okay. There's no need to rush. Are you sure you don't remember anything? Anything at all?"
The young man was silent for a while. His expression remained unusually calm, but Lorioth could feel his paulses trembling under his strong arms. After about five minutes the young man looked up at Lorioth.
"More Krovaski...my name...that's the only thing I can remember."
Lorioth looked back at More, and nodded. "Well, that's a good start. Don't worry though. I'll try my best to help you to remember. If you want, you can stay here for now..."

Prelude PRPPrelude: Encounter with Headmaster Norman By Doctor Manneth's suggestion, I paid a short visit to Headmaster Norman today. The man was what I have imagined...calm, mature, with great dignity. I was glad to see that he seemed to have a high opinion of me, and was even more pleasantly surprised to receive the permission to stay in this place as a student. For now, I do not know what kind of help I could bring to the school, but I shall keep this deep appreciation for everyone around me, and I shall do my best in repaying all of their kindness.
Norman suggested a meeting with the two advisors. I should now be scheduling an appointment with them because I have heard that they are busy people. I am free to say that I am extremely excited, and I shall be looking forward to whatever that lays ahead...even I don't know a single thing about my past yet (and I doubt I really wanted to know).
P.S: Dr. Manneth mentioned something about me being abnormal. I think I see why. It seems that I'm not as sensitive to temperature changes as normal people should be. I should be reporting this to Dr. Manneth tomorrow...

[PRP] Excuse Me, Mister (w/Scyeth)Interesting encounter with... Today was a rather special day. I met one of the students in an accident. The boy, around 14-15 years old, was wildly skating when he bumped into me. His name was Scyeth if I remembered it correctly. He was blunt, but rather cool in my opinion. In fact, I had a rather good time with him as he proceeded to teach me how to skate. I've never skate before, or at least I have no recollection that I did. But he was (surprisingly) patient enough with me and stayed until I learned most of the basics. Perhaps, if I can get myself a skateboard sometimes, I can meet him again and skate with him. Sounds like fun!
The kid also mentioned that he was living with a roommate. Perhaps I should pay them a visit sometimes...Scyeth didn't seem to mind, as he invited me to do so.
But first, gotta find myself a skateboard....

[PRP] An Unscheduled Checkup (w/Lorioth)Oh, there he was. ((Not really finished, but close enough. x3 wink )
Dr. Manneth intruded my daily workout at the Gym today by accident. The poor doctor was flustered as usual, but I assured him that everything was alright. Since he was there I gave him a brief summary of my current status, which led to a brief (but nonetheless amusing) conversation about my possible past. It was all in good jokes, I think, but it does bring me to wonder if they were true...
The poor Doctor, in all his anxiety, had tripped and twisted his ankle. It swelled on the instant, and I suggested to go to his office to treat the wound. But upon reaching the said office I was disappointed (Dr. Manneth probably felt the same) to find out there was no space for wound-treating. In the end, I carried him back to his dorm. The poor Doctor was blushing the entire trip, and was exhausted at the end of it. By the time we reached the teacher's dorm, he was already half-asleep. Considering the time...he probably had a long day. It was a long day for me too. A lot of things to think over, but I shall go to bed for now. More discovery awaits tomorrow.

[PRP] Unintentional Intrusion (w/Herei)F....Male? I had the chance to meet one of the advisors of the school today. His name is Herei Fang, I believe. The man was a genius at words and he is not afraid to show it through his personality. Unfortunately, I came in at a rather inappropriate time, when the good advisor was trying to finish some works. Not much information was exchanged, therefore, and I will have to remind myself to come back later. The mug serves a good reminder at that....

What is capable of More was almost certain that he did not want to go to the magic area of the school, even after knowing that he was recommended to visit for the sake of getting himself familiarized with the surrounding. He didn't know why, but something in his mind had screamed no to the idea of visiting. Nevertheless, his logic disregarded the wish and the young man found himself moving slowly toward the seemingly fearsome building that was the school of magic.
The one who was scheduled to greet More was none other than the master of magic himself. Since Irame was kept busy with random assignments and it was probably not a good idea for Javelin to be a tour guide, the good master was given the task to lead More around the building. Shinji did not express his objection, mainly because he could care less, and in More's situation...the master could not help but to admit that he was indeed interested in the young man and his miraculous survival. He had his suspicions about the young man, and Shinji was quite eager to find out.
The two had met up in front of the magic building which was the field that was used to practice casting magic. Initial greetings aside, More had immediately developed a curiosity on the minor races such as Shinji himself. And, to demostrate what a powerful being a minor race can be, the good master decided to perform a few of the castings to show off the power of magic, in which More was more than amused.
The young man knew he was not merely amused at the colorful sight and the descructive power of the magics, but there was something within him that had shook his nerves. He knew that because almost immediately after the magic was cast, the young man felt a familiar headache that he had experienced before. Fast coming and fast going, as if something was trying to break through in his head. More's reaction was noted by Shinji, but the master did not say anything in return. It was something that could not explained even if he asked. He did, however, casually make a comment about minor races are a lot more sensitive to magic, which led to the young man questioning his own identity for the nth time since he had came on to this island. Shinji discouraged the questioning, however, stating that it was not healthy for More to try to remember when he wasn't ready. More took the advice on the face, but it was something that troubled him throughout the trip.
It was wrong to say that Shinji did not feel anything during the time in which the young man had a headache. He had felt something familiar radiating from More, yet unfamiliar at the same time. Shinji had several guesses on More's identity himself, the least being that the young man had great potential as a magic user, the most being that More was perhaps someone of the minor race. There was a hidden fear hidden behind all the guesses, as the pulse of energy that More had emitted during that instant was so powerful that the master almost failed in casting the magic due to the great interference. If this was only a tiny fraction of More's potential...then the young man was indeed someone to be feared. The master made a mental note of this, perhaps he will express his concern in the next administrators meeting.
The event afterwards was fairly calm, as the master took More around the school of magic, introducing each equipments and staff. More found that the way things worked around here was actually quite similar to the school of S&T, and magic was perhaps not a deep subject after all...
Of course, that was only his thinking.

[meta] A Day of NightmareMyself I don't...understand.
I suppose, ever since the day I woke up on this island I never understood myself. My body, my mind, my past, my strength...my potential. I thought these things were no longer important to me. I thought I am starting a new life, like an infant who just came out of his mother's womb...
But I was wrong. I knew I was wrong a long time ago, but I always rejected my mistake. Because all I wanted was a normal life, as a normal person...
But that was impossible. Even it seemed possible before, it is not possible now.
I cannot avoid those gazes of awe, confusion, shock, amusement, horror, surprise, interest...all geared at me, at my body, at what I could potentially do that no one else could. I cannot avoid thinking about what they are thinking. They...who were so kind to me. They will continue to be nice to me, because it is part of their education, their manner. But deep down, I can't help myself but to think that they might as well think of me as a monster.
At least, not a normal human being.
The demon, it said it too. It called me brother...someone just like it, a minor race.
I'm not a minor race. I look, think, and act like a human being.
At least, that's what I tell myself everyday, since that day of nightmare...
