He is a hard lion and rather cold hearted, one who embodies the warrior spirit. Tough and determined he lives for reaving. He is not wholly without emotion though and does sometimes take time out to unwind and relax about the pride, but during those periods he will often be found alone, disliking rowdy company.

Born to a Reaver and his freeborn mate as part of a legitimate litter, he has spent his whole life training, and once old enough, became a Reaver and joined his father's band. On reaching his adulthood he moved into another band in order to avoid fighting with his father. (As both males were hard headed and stubborn). He wants to move into the warlord's Viking band, if only to see if it's any different, and for extra challenge.
Part of an effective fighting pair with Aksel. Used to viking under the old Captain Arnljótr until the elder lion died in battle.
Arch rival of his brother Ragnvard. Ronan and Aksel were the only two lions to threaten his brother when the darker male was planning the murder of their old Captain. The pair refused to leave the grizzled old warrior when Ragnvard started trying to entice them away though didn't realise the full extent of his depravity until after the murder. Still they and very nearly saved him during the attack, but three lions were not enough against the Sith attackers and the plan succeeded. Ever since Arnljótr's death, Ragnvard has been plotting to take Ronan down in revenge. Though so far Ronan has proved the stronger against every enemy Ragnvard has put against him.

Ragnvard is a sharp-minded male, cunning and sly. A master tactician and skilled both as a straight up fighter and as a Captain. Charasmatic and charming when it suits him but capable of acts of incredible violence and destruction. To those loyal to him he is Master and Provider both, assuring his reavers never want for anything, be it food, thralls or fights. In return he demands obediance and dedication to his goals. He is heavily involved in the education of younger members, believing the strength of the pride lives in the future generations. He is a true Stormborn, living and adhering to the very heart of the Myrsky Syntynyt philosophy. Strength is all, weakness will not be tolerated.
Those that loathed him spoke of his vile ways and vicious temper. But those that revered him talked of his dedication, drive and determination. He was Stormborn, and he made sure everyone knew it.

Ragnvard wasn't always evil, he felt betrayed by his brother when he thought Ronan would take his side when they were young, but Ronan didn't and left Ragnvard to stand by himself. Ronan is the elder brother and Ragnvard used to look up to him. But Ran was always more ambitious and violent than Ronan felt comfortable with. Ran couldn't understand why his brother abandoned him, not realising it was his own behaviour that drive Ronan away.
He won his place as Captain through the death of the previous Captain Arnljótr, having slyly plotted the former's death through his own reavers. Causing the best fighters to abandon him for richer prospects and filling the ranks with less skilled warriors and his own spies, before letting the band wander into an ambush, having heard of a group of Nguvu Tamaa warriors prowling the area from his own reavers and simply not passing the information along. As soon as he took control he brought in lions loyal to him and hand picked the best and most savage fighters from around the pride. Giving those lions most others wouldn't touch a spot in his group. They quickly came to be known as one of the most blood-thirsty bands in the pride.

He has a long-distance friendship/secret lady fling thing with Tala in the Pridelands. She becomes something of a guilty secret for him, he acts in a completely different manner from his usual hard-nosed egotistical self. Her sense of humour and quirkiness amuses him and makes him laugh. He is no longer Captain of the Stormborn with her, but just a regular lion enjoying the company of a slightly weird but wonderful lioness.

A big bruiser of a lion this male lives for the fight. He lives up to the reaver steriotype, having far more brawn than brains, and while he isn't stupid he honestly doesn't care. Being happiest when he is hitting something. A brillient reaver and bodyguard he doesn't take any notice of his father's mechanisations, so long as he can fight as much as he likes. He enjoys the renouwn that comes from being a fighter, with swooning ladies fawning all over him bearing fermented fruit, Mikkel is a happy lion.

Supposedly born to be Belial's replacement, Ishmael has the chance to learn from his older brother but is still trapped by his father's desires and plottings.

She seems perfectly normal -for being Ragnvard's daughter- around the pride. She is a skilled reaver though has no desire to become Captain, though not for the reasons everyone assumes. Becoming Captain would curtail her extra-curicular activities as she would have to stay near the pride and keep an eye on her band. Instead she spends a good portion of her time outside the pride when not on a viking. She comes back pregnant after most of these visits but never with a male thrall in tow. (She usually kills her mates after the deed is done. Though occassionally one impresses her enough that she leaves without slaying him.)
She keeps several female thralls at home to look after her many litters. (May have a female salt wife.)

Tiamat is an over achiever and will try for Captain as soon as she can, with the idea to eventually over throw her father and take over his domain

He is a very conflicted male. His natural temper is calm and thoughtful, but Ragnvard singled him out as a cub because he showed extreme promise as a fighter and Ran chooses Belial to be his successor. So he is pushed and pushed and pushed, made to fight and train constantly. It becomes too much and he snaps, going berserk. Ragnvard uses his new Beserk ability and turns him into a killer, but one who, when he regains control of himself and realises what he has done, despairs. It drives Belial partly insane, though no one will be able to tell as he has always been a quiet, standoffish cub and only grows more so as he ages. He develops a kind of split personality, doing as Ragnvard says but inside he hates it.
I'm not sure if he or his sister will overthrow Ragnvard, or if Ronan or his son Roan will get there first, XD Ran gains a Lot of enemies over the years though his daughter Tiamat will want to overthrow him to prove she is better, where as Belial will simply try and murder Ragnvard in order to escape his torment.

Lillith is an out and out flirt, who will prefer to seduce her way around the pride to get what she wants, she is too pretty to fight, according to her.

Exceptionally smart, this lioness is known for her cunning and quick wit. She can read other lions easily and often uses her ability to manipulate them into doing things for her. Her skill at advanced battle stratagem is unparallel, making her an incredibly valuable asset to a reaving band. Though she lacks the brute strngth of most reavers, her sharp mind makes up for it. Her first loyalty is to herself and her pride, just as their parents taught them.

Though she was too young to have been involved in the original assassination attempt, being born of a later litter to her older brothers and sisters, she sided with Ragnvard upon entering adulthood, knowing that her ambitious red-coated brother would be able to carry her own carreer forwards more swiftly than her tacturn golden brother. Brother of Ragnvard, Ronan, Rayn and Vundi. The same age as Ragnvard and Ronan, he was the runt of the litter. Unlike his stronger brothers he never took to the reaver life. Instead he had a sharp mind and excellent memory. Combined with his sly and shrewd nature he took to life as a lawkeeper, apprenticed under Lawspeaker Bjartur. While his father doesn't really care either way so long as his son is successful, Raskogr feels as if the entire family disapproves. Which has made him bitter and resentful. He and his brothers have never gotten along, Ronan treats him well enough but has his own concerns. Ragnvard will use him for his lawspeaker skills but the two brothers tend to clash when in close proximity. Ragnvard considers lawspeakers to be weak but dangerous, which strains their already tense relationship.
He was betrothed to a lioness named Seqineq when they were both cubs, in an arranged marriage by their parents. Neither really got along and have been actively avoiding the issue, claiming they needed to wait until Raskogr was a full lawspeaker.
