Rayn paused, sniffing the area as the teasing scent of lion drifted on the breeze. Certainly there were folks about somewhere in the area, and ever the opportunist, Rayn was determined to discover them. Pushing onward she trotted boldly past the faint scent marker, vivid blue eyes scanning the area all around. Soon enough she spotted a large golden lion. He was large enough to draw her up short, as for the first time she wondered if maybe this hadn’t been the best idea. Still, she had a whole band of reavers near by so there was little reason for her to fear anyone.
Grinning she continued, striding boldly forward.
Ragnvard didn’t have to work very hard to track his sister. She wasn’t trying to hide her path and so the Captain kept up an easy trot. His deep red coat was littered with scars. Most were old, relics from battles fought in his youth, but many overlaid those pale marks, each at a different stage of healing. Maybe were vivid white scars, but others were red and angry, a couple seeped slightly but none of them bothered the large Captain. A formidable male even among his own pride of violent fighters. He was large and heavily muscled with a thick, dense black mane and a cold, hard light in his eyes. Ragnvard was a powerful fighter with a reputation as a vicious and cunning warrior that was well earned.
Spotting his wayward sister up ahead he increased his pace, but a moment later the looming figure of another male appeared. Slowing he smirked. What trouble had his sister found now? Curious and willing for her to receive a quick and harsh lesson in why she was supposed to stay with the other reavers, Ragnvard waited by a large rock, wanting to see what happened before he got involved.
Quaji I dont mind doing a fight rp with Bang and Ran. X3 I half think its inevitable.

Blue eyes fixed on the large male, Rayn continued forwards, trotting at an easy ground-eating pace that she could sustain for hours. As his call reached her though she slowed, ears flicking as she tried to work out what the heck had had just yelled out. “Hu…” A language barrier was not something she had much experience with, being as she spoke common and it had never been much of a problem. Still, maybe he would respond likewise if she said something?
Walking now she waited until she could call back without straining her voice. “Helloooo there!” Though she didn’t stop, she did watch his body language closely. For the first time she wondered if maybe he would be hostile, and if so she would have to scoot out of there pretty quick. No way could she take him on alone and not get hurt. Though if pushed she was still very much a Stormborn and wouldn’t hesitate to fight him. But if there was nothing to gain by such an action she didn’t really see the point of suffering pain.
Ragnvard stayed put, hidden behind his rock as he settled down onto his belly. Though he kept his sister and the stranger in his sights. This was promising to be an entertaining encounter. he was also interested in hearing what they spoke about. His sister was an excellent information gatherer... After all she had been doing it since she was a cub, and Ragnvard willingly exploited her natural curiosity and conniving nature. After all, if he didn't, someone else would, and she was a superb asset to his band for just that reason. He had also noticed males tended to be more open around her, probably trying to impress her with their knowledge or skills... Ragnvard certainly wasn't going to complain when she inevitably brought that knowledge back to him.

Bangizwe's muscles flexed under his golden pelt. She heeded no warning, even one in a language she very clearly did not know. This lioness did speak in the common tongue though. The Umholi's tail flicked aggressively behind him as he stood proud, his head raised, staring her down from the same spot he had been in before.
"You enter lands that aren't your own. What's your business here, stranger?" He asked, his tone stern and his question straight to the point. Shifting his tongue to one that she would have a much easier time understanding would hopefully end whatever tension was between them, or maybe it would only make things worse. She was a rogue, or at least that's what he thought she was and it wasn't this lioness that worried him, it was the prospect of there being more than just her. Lions did not typically travel alone, even in the unclaimed lands. To see a lioness by herself was...odd, at least to him.
If she didn't answer in a way that he approved of, she'd learn the hard way why smart rogues didn't come this close to the Ithambo'hlabathi.

Ahh, so he did speak! Grinning she eyed him up. He was certainly an impressive male, tall and with that golden coat. But his words made it obvious that he was part of a pride. Well well… She should find out who they were. Grinning she stopped where she was, just close enough to talk without straining her voice, but not near enough to upset the obviously twitchy stranger.
“Pardon, I didn’t realise this was a claimed land.” Curling her tail lazily behind her she tipped her head. “Nothing, actually… just curious. I was in the area and scented some tracks. I wondered who was here.” Settling back on her haunches, she appeared relaxed but was keeping herself ready to spring away in case he decided to attack. “I’m Rayn. What is this place called?” Looking thoughtful for a moment she added. “I’m not staying, brother will be annoyed at me if I don’t return soon. I was just interested.” Many would call her nosy, and she never bothered to dispute it. She probably was…

"The Bonelands." Was the response he gave to her question. While he would have loved to sit and talk, there was hardly a point to it. There was no point giving her the proper name to the pride again. It was plain to see that she had no intention of joining and her words only confirmed that suspicion. The mention of a brother perked Bangizwe's ears up and caused his heart to beat just a bit faster. So he was right again in that there was more than one out there, but where was her brother...?
Sure he could talk her up, and try to get her to stay, but why? That'd likely just upset her brother. Not everyone shared similar ideals as the Bonelands did. He could get to know her, maybe even sire cubs with her if she wanted, but his energy was better spent furthering the pride right now. Overall, speaking with this lioness was a waster of his time and energy as she had little to offer him in anything but knowledge it seemed like. Even then, how much did she even have to offer that the Aenda could not provide him?
"You should leave. These lands are not kind to strangers." Those two small sentences were stern, but not unkind. He had no real desire to force her off, rather he would like to see her leave willingly and not bleeding, but he could...and would if he needed to. The pride's lands could not support themselves and poachers as well.
Tanakako That took a much different turn than I thought it would. 8D; I can still have him force her off if you want.

“Oooh!” Ears pricked she looked about as innocent as she ever got, for once simply curious rather than plotting something. “Bonelands hu?… Can’t say that I’ve heard of you before.” Pausing she watched him considering for a moment. But before she could open her maw to ask something else he firmly ordered her to go. Pouting she sighed, looking disappointed. This was So much more fun that sitting around with a bunch of blood-splattered reavers while they snored the afternoon away. Glancing behind her she spotted the rock where her brother hid, there was no indication he was there, but she knew him so well she had no doubt he would be close. Looking back at the big golden male she started to try again, hoping to engage him a little longer, when a deep voice behind her cut her off.
“I..”
Listening to their conversation, though the words were faint, Ragnvard couldn’t help but grin at the total brush-off the stranger had just given his baby sister. Chuckling to himself he shook his head. Rayn really did push her luck at times, and it sounded like this male was getting close to the end of his patience. Finally deciding to rescue her before she got hurt, or caused them to delay their return to the pride, Ragnvard stood up and stepped out from behind the rock, lifting his deep voice to call out to her.
“Come sister. It’s time to go.”
Quaji Its fine. XD If Ragnvard's arrival doesn't make Bang attack, we can probably wrap this one up.

It wasn't surprising that she hadn't heard of the Bonelands. They were out of the way by most pride standards and hard to find since they migrated. Not to mention that there were certainly more appealing prides out there. Just as he was going to chastise her for not listening to him, another voice chimed in for him. The second voice caused Bangizwe's entire body to tense. It was clearly masculine and he could not see the source of it, but it was obvious that she knew it was nearby by her glance to a rock pile.
That was it, they needed to leave and sooner than they were. A low growl erupted from the Umholi's throat as he quickly jogged to the lioness, his pace one of aggression as his head was lowered as to protect his throat, claws were out and his tail was flicking wildly behind him. The jog sped up as he grew closer, but he skidded to a standstill, skidding to a stop just short of her. It was a feint, meant only to scare her and whoever else was nearby and to not actually engage her unless she chose to stick around for whatever reason instead of leaving that the unseen brother suggested.
"I agree!" He snarled out in agreement to the second voice's call to the lioness. Lips raised and slightly yellowed teeth bared to her, Bangizwe clearly did not mean well for these trespassers. He didn't care to fight them, but enough to get them off his land and keep them off.
Tanakako This can be my last post if you want. <3

Rayn flinched at the sound of her brother’s call. Damn it! She ahd obviously been found, and far sooner than she had hoped. Huffing she started to turn towards her elder sibling, but then the male she had been happily talking to suddenly charged. Turning back she bared her fangs in a sharp hiss of displeasure, lips wrinkling back from her own impressive set of fangs. No one threatened her! His aggressive display didn’t frighten her, for she had grown up around males who though posturing and fighting were as necessary as breathing and eating. But nor was she some hormone driven male to pick a fight for the sake of it.
Hissing violently at the creamy male a second time to prove to him she was not cowed, she held her head and tail high, brilliant blue eyes narrowed at him. Heathen! She had only wanted to talk! Turning her back on him, probing to him that she didn’t care that it gave him the advantage over her if he did attack, she snorted and strode off at a deliberate walk towards where her brother was waiting for her.
Ragnvard pricked his ears as the male suddenly charged his sister. But he didn’t move towards them. She had provoked this stranger, she would have to deal with it. Only if the pridemale got truly violent would Ragnvard step in. It was high time someone took his cocksure sibling down a peg or two.
Once his errant sibling returned to his side he gaze her a lazy swot on the shoulder, smirking as she hissed at him. Clearly her feathers had been well and truly ruffled. Well… it would be worth putting up with her foul temper on the way back just to have seen her so soundly dismissed by the stranger. Snickering as she threw a truly annoyed glare his way, Ragnvard smirked back at her as he set off, leading his stewing sibling back towards where they had left the rest of their reavers earlier.
