Shasa had completed her task. She had become more than she was. There was a lingering thought, a quiet hush across her thoughts. ...for the right reasons?

The Shrine was quiet and peaceful, and Nanco found the memories of her task slipping away from her. She couldn't bring herself to hold onto them, and found that they were soon replaced by the clarity of the Goddess's blessing. "Thank you!" she offered quietly in return, feeling much better.

The tedious task was finally done, he came back to the Shrine and received his new blessings. His image was more clear-cut. He seemed to have horns? OOC Link to task completed: Journey + SacrificeName of character: Jaxa Link to Heart Log: ☾

Her sacrifice made, she felt ready to depart from the temple, confident that her decision had been the right one. As she began to turn away from the pedestal, her memories she had gained melting away until there was not a hint of them left to remain to dwell upon. It was almost a relief, to forget. The goddess bestowed on her a blessing, and she knew then what she had done was absolutely right. She would continue to do the goddesses bidding, would continue to serve, no matter the cost.

It had to be done. Vettey told herself over and over as she stepped forward to receive the blessing from the goddess. It was as the goddess had told her, she kept reminding herself. Those down there were already lost and had no need for the heart that she had claimed, which in itself was for a greater good so that she could become closer with the goddesses. She wasn't sure if it was that or the blessing that made her begin to feel better about what she had done as she stepped out of the shrine to see if she could locate Errand and see what he had to say of his own experience.

With the sacrifice, Acerola felt her core glowing strongly. It seemed her features had become more obvious. She began to notice others who were in the shrine too. Did she seem them before? She automatically slipped away as soon as she could. With others around...she didn't want to be near them.

Trodding up to the shrine, she quietly received the blessing, all the while feeling like there was something she should be remembering while at the same time dreading it.

Walking back up to the shrine after getting the task done as it felt good to to fail the goddesses. She was grateful to be getting the blessing as she bowed in thanks. But a part of her still felt empty and questions.

After the bag vanished, she went back to the Shrine to report when the goddess blessed her with warmness again. She felt different. She could now see her coak as well as the hair clips. She was more "her". OOC Link to task completed: Journey + SacrificeName of character: Renayk Link to Heart Log: ❤

As he exited the temple Kieyrr could feel himself growing a little more whole once again. He found himself stubborn, temperamental even, and yet so...was that loneliness? Was that the feeling like plagued him so much? OOC Link to task completed: Journey :: ShrineName of character: Kieyrr Link to Heart Log: [X]

Walking once more he felt himself walk a little more briskly, something akin to confidence in his step. A oddly familiar feeling sank into his bones, himself looking around and noticing more things, realizing more. He felt himself smile.

Liom found himself back in the Shrine. Something compelled him to come back. A quest had been completed even though he couldn't remember its details, what he had done in turn for the Goddesses. But he had done it right? He knew he had.
And she did as well as she wrapped a familiar warmth around him, giving him the gift of a blessing for his deeds. Giving him so much more as well. Like his smile, pulled back in stride and wide.
"Thanks, ya!" He saluted. It was a gesture he had acquired while playing the field, but now he began to wonder if it was because it was something a little more. Something he had done before. Something coming back.
He liked that thought, he realized, as he left.

That was all he cared about, really. He forgot the goal, when he'd given up his sacrifice. Forgotten it for only a moment. But as soon as he returned to the goddesses, and felt the warmth of a blessing settle into his wavering form, he realized this was the goal, all along. And it was good to remember. Because he couldn't remember a damn thing else, otherwise. OOC Link to task completed: Journey and SacrificeName of character: Trebor (Robert) Link to Heart Log: here

"I've done a fine job today, if I do say so myself," Clairins announced. His confidence only swelled to new heights after he received his blessing. It lent an undeniable swagger to his step, a certain grace -- or perhaps arrogance.

Tiletk wandered up to receive his blessing. It felt rewarding now, he felt happier. Not less confused but happier. He gave a wide grin as he left the Shrine feeling a little more whole. A little more himself (whoever that is).
