xxxxxxx❝ CORNIX the EXAEQUARE ❞ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ Cornix flicked his carnal vision to the right of him, the arrows were parted enough so he could see well enough to make a move when needed. When Nanashi spoke about Cornix's mistake, he gritted his teeth to the lunatics comment. His arrows were being sliced as Nanashi came after him, Cornix leaped out of the sphere with his bow in hand. He rolled on the ground and picked himself backup in quick succession. Cornix fired a Reishi charged arrow at Nanashi as he released his Zanpakuto and allowed it to fall and rupture the ground. His legs shook as it weight was present. Cornix just barely rolled out of the way of the boulder. He panted and huffed from his mouth. Cornix quickly went and used the same boulder that was used against to hide behind when he heard Suzume's incantation. The rock shattered, sending sharp pieces at Cornix, cutting him. None of the cuts were to severe, but the blood loss was unwelcome. He eyes focused on Vesper as he used his abilities on Suzume; but this was distracted at the hollering of Nanashi. "Use what?! The final release of his Zanpakuto...?" He gasped with the thought. Now, he regretted Aurelius for reviving him. He heard Asami's voice reply to Nanashi. He removed three arrows from his belt and fired them after Reishi was charged into the tips of them. "VESPER! Concentrate on the crazy one!" He yelled to his friend with a desperate voice. He took two more arrows from his belt, adding reishi to them, and fired them at Nanashi. An arrow multiplied and floated next to him on his right. It appeared that not all of his arrows from his sphere had been destroyed. If Cornix was going to die, he would go out with a bang and not a flop. Once again the arrows multiplied and he trailed his vision on Nanashi, firing the reishi charged arrows at him once more. While he had been firing his arrows the entire time, he was slowly walking backwards to put room between him and the deranged shinigami.

405 ┏xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx┓ Aurelius - Infinitus ┗xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx┛ He had been just watching the fights for a short while, content with just staying silent and luckily no one bothered him, even after he done away with Hibiki's Zanpakuto. All was well until he blinked once and Hei was suddenly shoulder to shoulder with him, with his arm draped over his other shoulder. He felt like he was stuck in slow motion as his head slowly rotated to look towards Hei, his eyes going towards him faster than his head could turn. Trembling, he fixed his gaze on Hei as he spoke and even though Hei wasn't even using the choking Reiatsu, Aurelius couldn't help but feel his throat seize, possibly out of nervousness. When Hei had finished speaking, he was still on edge because he had spoken of punishing everyone if Vesper and Cornix were still alive when he got back. Aurelius couldn't have been included in that statement because he wasn't fighting them. No, Hei would include him despite this, because that was the type of man he was; he didn't need Vox Universum to tell that. After swallowing what felt like his entire Adam's Apple, Aurelius nodded to Hei as he moved away, acknowledging his request. "All right..."
Snapping the fingers of both his hands, he forced a very large magical circle to appear on the ground, one that stretched far past the meadow. It glowed brightly, vibrantly with greens, blues, whites and yellows. Tiny symbols materialized themselves on those he was told to send away, and with a clap of his hands, his eyes shot open as Asami, Hei and Tsukiko all shimmered like a mirage and vanished as the last second passed, taking their spiritual signatures with them to Modus Exaequaris, or more specifically, to Antīqua Ruīna Exaequaris where they would appear in the same manner they had left. Ar least, Asami and Hei would, Tsukiko was sent elsewhere. Releasing a heavy sigh as soon as they were gone, or rather, once Hei was finally gone, Aurelius rubbed his forehead and crouched in the grass. "I'm getting too old for this, I am really not prepared to do this for another several thousand years. If only they would all just die, and then my job would be done and I could die too. Or, ******** it... I just won't go back. I'll make a life for myself in the Human World or something, they wouldn't find me."
|Forced Exit for Tsukiko, Hei, and Asami.|

442 Nąηąsнι Jūichibantai Fukutaichō He idled himself while Asami answered him by taking his leather gloves from his back pocket and slipping his hands into them, then opening and closing his fingers to work the stiffness out of the material. "Hai, hai~" He answered in regards to Asami's suggestions as he grabbed onto his trident with his right hand and extended it to the side, all the while pulling his headband over his eyes. "Bankai, Taishaku Kaiten Sōshinome!" At the pupil of the eye set into his trident's top, a comic energy began to crackle around it like electricity, quickly forming a barely visible orb that one would have to strain their eyes to even make out. Expanding outwards, the orb began to completely disappear once it reached a few feet in diameter, expanding out to set the edges of his Bankai space, a large sphere that was 430 feet in diameter and had it's limits accentuated by an ethereal barrier that was visible only to Nanashi himself and any one that may grab onto his trident, though it would take several seconds for the barrier to make itself known to anyone else even if they did so.
As the arrows came towards him, Nanashi stood motionless, as though he had no idea where they were. That was, however, very false. While his Bankai was active, anything within his space could be located by thought, a by product of Mugen Shinkuido as he must be able to know where everything is to move it. It was for this reason, added to his heightened other senses, that he was able to tell where the arrows were, as well as where Cornix was. When they were within a foot from his body, he grinned and spoke. "Henidenryū." At once, a current engulfed his body and the arrows that struck him were instantly teleported to the opposite side doing so in such a fine manner that it appeared that they were literally going through his body. "Baka~" He exclaimed before throwing himself into the air, hefting his trident over his head and dropping to the ground like a rock, slamming the weapon into the ground, causing tons of dirt and debris to fly into the air, as well as make the ground itself tremor. Releasing the weapon, he vanished with the pop of a bubble and reappeared just above Cornix, falling towards him with his right arm cocked back. As he fell, he snapped his fist towards the Exaequare's face, using not only his strength, but the addition of gravity to deliver a bone-breaking punch. Should he somehow miss, the strike would hit the ground, cratering it upon contact. ...Ara?___

 ❖ ❖ xx VESPER of the EXAEQUARE - - - - - -✁- - - - - - ✁- - - - - -✁- - - - - - ✁- - - - - - ✁- - - - - -
Vesper had turned his head, to see how Suzume had fared. However, he looked back at Tadashi, seeming almost bored, as Tadashi talked. Seriously, were all the Shinigami around only concerned with making speeches or saying something cool? Nah, this Lieutenant wasn’t as annoying as Black Star, definitely. He lazed around for a bit, not answering to Tadashi, as he pouted in a very childish way in the opposite direction. Why did he have to deal with these people? All he wanted to do right now was go home and be welcomed back with open arms. Unfortunately, that looked as if it wasn’t going to happen anytime soon, to tell the bluntest truth. Turning back to Tadashi, Vesper said in a monotonous voice, “I don’t like to underestimate people really and I do-” He was cut off suddenly as Tadashi activated Tenma’s strongest ability. It took a few brief seconds to set in and he whacked his head with his hands several times to see what was going on. “What the hell?!” he yelled in frustration. His vision had absolutely blurred, switching into random colours, with several sections partially blacked out. This was not good at all. Was this some sort of strange element of Tadashi’s attack or something like that? Suddenly, Cornix yelled and it was absolutely deafening to Vesper, who placed his hands over his ears in an attempt to stop the shouting. “I can’t do anything! That stupid Lieutenant did something to me!” he yelled loudly at Cornix. A sudden horrifying scream echoed in his ears and he barely managed to stay upright. He needed to do something, to get out of this nightmare. Losing his vision was bad enough, but there was something wrong with his hearing too. “DAMN THIS!” he screamed, sending an Ululo in every single possible direction. While he might hit Cornix, it was the best he could do for the moment.

Vesper had fired something towards her, which threw her backwards and disoriented her. It took her a few minutes to work the kinks out of her body and bring herself back under control. When she looked up again, Nanashi had activated his Bankai and was throwing an assault at Cornix. Shrugging her shoulders, she merely walked over to where Kwan-Sun and Daisuke were. There was no point in attempting to attack any further as it seemed as if she would merely get in the way of Nanashi for now. Any Kido spell had a liability to hit Nanashi himself and she didn’t want to be the reason why the Shinigami failed in protecting Soul Society. She stood a short distance away from Daisuke, although close enough to hear what he was saying. Listening silently, she moved over next to him, her eyes still trained on the fight and her muscles were tensed, ready to join the battle at any time if there was any need to. “By the way,” she asked quietly in a voice full of curiousity, “What is that book you’re reading? Is it good?”

/-------------------------------|____Daisuke Ichirou____| |__Third Div. Fukutaichō__| -------------------------------/ "A crashing sky, a rolling screen.. A city drowned in God's black tear." Daisuke flips a page, "It's a book about the philosophies of a Shinigami; deceased now." He looks over to Suzume, "By looking at this book, I can learn not only about him, but about the past of the Seireitei. He died not long ago, battling against a foe that is also dead as of now. It is quite interesting, as I had a chance to actually meet that foe the Shinigami was killed from." He looked at the fight and wondered if he should really just be sitting and reading, but Nanashi and the others seemed to be doing well; even that annoyingly childish Black Star.

Jūbantai-Taichō l Entrance from Tenth Division Captain's Quarters l
Eriko faded into sight silently on the branch of a tree that was quite close to the active battle field. There were too many new faces there for her liking but they appeared to be ranked officers so that helped to calm her nerves a bit. She sat down with her legs swinging and surveyed the scene around her. Apparently, some of the Lieutenants and Third Seats were getting a little exercise. If that was the case, she did not see the need to intervene especially when a blind-folded Fukutaicho seemed to have gone into Bankai and was fighting impressively against what she assumed to be a lower-level Exaequare. Her eyes had picked up on Aurelius but she had no business with him at the moment. She would have if there was a desire to go where her fellow Captains were at the moment but for now, she could be satisfied with supervising this minor squabble.
However, it did not appear to be so minor when another of the Lesser Exaequare started shouting like a mad man at his associate about what a stupid Lieutenant had done to him. It did not take that long for her to find a grinning Sakamoto with Temna released on his hand. With her previous experience of fighting the Ninth Division's Lieutenant and the sight of blood oozing from the affected man's shoulder, Eriko knew that it was Ketsueki Sakushi, the horrible illusion that it was. Unfortunately, that is not where it ended as the Exaequare proceeded to use sonic vibrations, casting them any and everywhere as currently, his senses were lying to him. Instinctively, she rid her body of her haori and jumped to the floor only to realize that she nearly missed a pair of Shinigami, a man and girl pouring over a book. They had been hidden from her line of vision by the lower yet leafy branches.
"Sorry about that," she stated quickly, disappearing on the spot and reappearing a few yards from the hollering male. "Setsumei, Cho." The words came easily to her lips in the form of a whisper since the next time that her mouth opened, it would be the furtherest thing from a quiet sound. Used to the vibrations, Eriko followed each time the stranger opened his mouth and canceled his attacks with her prolonged Fuxaasuto Kooru while nearing him strategically till she was pratically screaming in his right ear for some seconds with a few centimeters between them physically. As soon as her mouth closed, her left leg and foot came at his head from behind to knock him unconscious and end his vibration offense. Calmly, Eriko walked away from him to approach Sakamoto and his ally, a Sanseki. She grinned at them both even though her uneasiness about new people was still very present. "Hi."

"Tsk, a Captain, and you have to steal my kill?" said Tadashi, looking disappointed. However, his face reverted to a smile (less maniacal than before) and he nodded to Eriko a moment later. He had actually been furious for a few seconds, but that immediately subsided. Tadashi didn't much care for blood or the thrill of battle anymore - all that mattered was that Vesper was probably down and out. And if Vesper was unconscious, he would probably still be subjugated to the Blood Illusion, meaning he would be having a nightmare from hell. Tadashi was tempted to leave it on until the effect wore out, but he decided to turn it off after making sure Vesper really was out of the battle.

Kwang-Sun 4th Division Lieutenant A rose is as sweet as its counter part. Its beauty is unmatched. And its pain is nothing else but legendary. Kwang began to watch the fight with more interest than before. He didn't think that annoying Black Star kid who could kill the most beautiful of flowers just by his unsightly appearance was as strong as he was. I guess you can't judge a book by its cover i suppose. Kwang didn't really want to stay but his Captain would have his head if someone got hurt and he wasn't there to fix it up. Kwang just stood there and sighed knowing hoping that the fighting would end soon so he can go to his barracks and fall asleep. He hasn't been able to enjoy a good sleep in a while. The stress of leaving his mom alone in the house by herself kept him up at night for the past few days.
Kwang noticed the presence of a Captain and he didn't know which Captain it was. He thought about it and decided that the only captain it could be is the tenth squad Captain. Kwang didn't know much about this Captain so he decided to introduce himself properly. Kwang closed his eyes and Shunpoed right beside the Tenth squad Captain. Hello Captain. Kwang took out the red rose from the inside of his kimono and twirled it around in his fingers.

 ❖ ❖ xx VESPER of the EXAEQUARE - - - - - -✁- - - - - - ✁- - - - - -✁- - - - - - ✁- - - - - - ✁- - - - - -
Vesper had not noticed the presence of the newly-arrived Captain as he was in agony at the moment, trapped in his own mind. While he had attempted to send an attack in every direction, he had been overtaken with pain before he had managed to send one towards where Daisuke, Kwang-Sun and Suzume were. He had a split-second break as he struggled to tell his mind to throw off the effects, but as Eriko approached and yelled in his ear, the noise was absolutely deafening. His eardrums were almost breaking as she launched an attack on him, leaving him screaming and writhing in pain on the ground. “No, no, no…” his voice was barely above a whisper, as he could barely spit out any words. Another sudden scream had him become suddenly still. His eyes were open and yet he was not seeing anything that made sense at all. This was madness in itself. “Cornix…home…” he hoarsely said, letting both of the ideas slip from his mouth…he needed to survive this somehow, this agony, this nightmare or else Cornix would die alongside him. His partner, the only one that had somewhat thought he had some potential at all.

Well, that was interesting in itself. She had never met anybody who read books, to tell the truth, since most Shinigami were intent on fighting or something like that. A sudden scream from Vesper, their enemy, made her look up and she couldn’t help but wince. To say the least, that was nasty. Her eyes followed the new arrival, who was a Captain from her Haori. This was somebody she did not know, but then again, there wasn’t many people that she knew at the moment anyway. She had heard talk of several others from her sister, but there was really nothing she could do to identify any of them, except Hei, of course. Turning back to Daisuke, she replied, “What was the Shinigami’s name? And what sort of philosophies?”

Jūbantai-Taichō Eriko blinked at Sakamoto. She was sure that she had not told anyone besides Elisia and Tsukiko but she could not doubt that news traveled fast in Soul Society. As for the second part of his statement, she had to wonder if he was that detached from how powerful his own sword was. The lesser Exaequare had been probably wishing that he was dead instead of suffering so much. In other words, she stared at him blankly until another Lieutenant, Yobantai, approached her. She received him with a smile.
"Hello, how has it been going here?" She had not even taken notice of the Exaequare whom she had attacked until her ears picked up on his light utterances. Apparently, she had not kicked him hard enough. She would have to practice some more when this was over then. Her eyes watched intently as he stiffened and pleaded with his associate that they go home. It was a pitiful sight and further confirmed her notion that these were the less powerful ones of the Exaequare race. A smile took a sadistic turn so she did nothing for the moment either to help him or further his pain. However, she was the highest rank here and it was not too far-fetched a thought that the others present would be looking to her now for some sort of guidance. Eriko did not deal well with people and even worse when in a position to direct them. A brief look of panic stole her features before she restored her usual peaceful expression and walked away from the small pocket people that had formed around her. She could not let them go as they were, at the moment, the enemy but she could not bring herself to further damage Vesper and the Lieutenant seemed to have the other one but that remained to be seen fully.
"Gosh, I hate doing this," Eriko muttered mainly to herself, stopping and turning back to where Vesper was on the grassy ground. Once she reached him, her hands passed over his body with the glue of Tokubetsusecchakuzai so that he could not raise up even if those nightmares stopped eventually. It was a safety precaution more than anything else since her original plan had been to supervise and not get involved. These were the others' opponents, not hers. "I'm sorry but I cannot let you go home now," she said softly, rising out of her crouched position to reach him. The glue had been enough to cover him every where so in a sense, he was completely immobilized. Without another word, Eriko returned to her tree and sat down next to her haori which she had left behind before entering the battlefield.

Tadashi watched with somewhat wary eyes as Eriko binded Vesper even further. The urge to kill suddenly rose up again, but not as controlling as before. He suddenly had a few faraway thoughts that didn't seem so appealing at first - maybe it would be better to keep Vesper alive, maybe killing him wasn't even his call. Looking at Vesper now, it was unthinkable to kill such a helpless creature, and he was certain he would get no respect or glory from such a distasteful act.
"Bakudō #63: Sajō Sabaku, Bakudō #9: Geki," he murmured, using the Kido to further bind Vesper for safety's sake. Perhaps Eriko's effect was just like Tenma's - it was only temporary. He looked over at Eriko.
"Shall I take him to the 12th division?" asked Tadashi, thinking that was the most likely place to keep the Exaequare, if not the 2nd. As long as he got authorization, though, he wouldn't mind too badly killing off Vesper.
