The water dripping from the ceiling seemed to irritate and worry Peri quite a lot, she was about to tell Peri something about it but Kyu managed to say what she wanted to tell her, although much more bluntly than she intended. Shaking her head, she looked at the rest of her team before Svafnir snapped her out of the worrying state she was on “I’ll try my best to stop overthinking heh. and don’t worry, I’m already aware of that” she said with a small smile before one of the other students yelled his name and jumped on him for a hug, this made her burst out in laughter “cute girl, who is she Svafnir~” with a big smirk she stared at him before she could smell a familiar smell in between the many faces around her, she turned around and noticed her adorable tribe member Netami. Aya waved at her with a smile “oh hello Netami, seems like we will be working together for the next few days” she said excitedly, knowing there is another person she can trust with their skills makes her feel a lot better than before. ❄. tabLOCATION . . . Jannet would adjust her bow after Prince exclaimed she didn’t need him to travel which was true but… that’s just not fun going alone “you are not wrong about it, though I’m sure it could have been funner with you on the ride” once she was done with her bow she picked up the Bunbomb from her hip and hugged it, the mood around them was one of stress and Prince showed it to her full force as he yelled at her. She couldn’t blame him for it though, he already told her about the horrors of this place and without breaking her smile she said “I am aware of the fact I don’t change much, and that we could die here. but you could be here all alone without anyone else and die alone, at least if we die it will be together” she said without breaking her smile, though her hug around the Bunbomb has tightened up and he could notice her hands shaking from the intensity of the hug, they are lucky the Bunbomb is well made.

The young woman carried the same vibe as Sasselia, but was blossoming so much everyday. There was certainly a lesson Sass felt she could take from her teammate. This definitely had confirmation, watching her bolt ahead to greet a friend. She had also taken great initiative towards a familiar face. Prince was of course a welcoming company, and she had no ill will towards them. Aside from her own team, and Prince.... She had no idea who anyone else was. Aurelia was also included in this,as this was the first time she had ever laid eyes on the headmistress of the academy. "There... Are certainly many new faces... M-more than I had believed there to be." The young woman had no actual problems to this, but more so was concerned about the mixture of teams, and the unpredictable mystery many of them carried. The team chemistries were scattered about, the personalities and features had certainly revealed a lot of mix, and many had different regards to all of this themselves. Tension, excitement, and nervousness were the most common benefactors that one had to need to analyze to begin with. She herself had remained where she sat, though she quietly tried to get her groundings in around this many people. Red hues went from person to person, and instead of jumping into any conversations about, she had shyly kept to herself, all while looking down towards her feet. "What e-effort to add furniture and a carpet here... D-despite too much moisture and water could ruin this with m-mildew smells, and natural environmental t-tearing..."
Fidgeting, her attention had been shot forward towards a moth faunus... In a cat suit?? Had she been dared into wearing that?? The outfit certainly was out of place, and it was also innapropriate for a mission outfit. She had said nothing on it though, choosing to mind her own business, more so as one of her treammates had began talking to them. "Team matters were team matters alone." At least, that was how she had liked to think of it. all thoughts aside, her earlier company with the team had began conversing with another person. The way both of their vibes had come across, it was a sure sign they were teammates. Wonderful~! How good it was that he wasn't teamed alone this time. As much as it was having him teamed up with them during the water festival, there had been no missing his reaction to their team chanting. She didn't blame him one bit either for having that opinion. Almost preparing to go try talking, her own social awkwardness had beaten the best of her attempts to move. She remained sitting, with her glaive on her lap, with willfull ears and attention at the ready. Forcing herself to be focused for the time being, was her only critical option, until she could actually try thinking of somehting inttereeting to say.

Ms. Lenz had awoken earlier that morning in order to make sure she had everything she needed and gotready before the sun was up. From her travel medical kit (along with her vials and cases of ingredients) she would prepare the basic vials for the first day. In her traveling backpack, she would have a couple changes of clothes as well as a cold-weather coat."Why had Ole signed me up for this?"Drac thought with a bit of dread. Everything for the clinic had already been handled and John was in charge while she was away. In truth, she had wished Dr. Cobalt was going instead of herself; he had been military medic/surgeon before...she was not used to such travel. Looking to Freya, she would smile softly."At least you are coming with."the gentlewoman said, only to get a soft caw in response before she would finish packing for the week of travel.'I just hope dear Chase does well under John's wing,'the doctor thought with a sigh before she would look back at her scroll. Travel backpack on her back, case of vials over her right shoulder, and rapier at her left hip, she grabbed her parasol and walked out the door; starting her journey to the meetup location.
Dracaena had taken an alternate form of transportation other than her car just so Ole could use it while she watched the condo. Being met with an officer, the civilian doctor would brief her along with others and given a backpack of supplies for the journey; although they were students of Beacon, the gentlewoman's blue-gray eyes would briefly glance at each student discreetly; silently assessing (mainly their health conditions). Though most looked healthy overall, she could not say she was impressed; her expression remained unreadable for now."This is going to be a long week,"Dr. Lenz sighed softly under her breath.'Well, adventure awaits.Drac thought as she, Freya and a couple other field medics would be taken down into the caves and ride in relative silence in the rovers to a strange meetup/living room-like space before a large door...a vault?
Dracaena could not say she was looking forward to meeting the students, even if there was probably one or two of them she thought she might find pleasant to talk to (unfortunately her protege would not be joining them); a fact she was slightly saddened by. Walking with perfect balance and grace, she was slightly surprised when her dear raven would puff up upon looking at one student in particular; a winged girl in a...catsuit? She frowned in displeasure."Most feline faunus would see that as an insult. And I would think it most inappropriate for mission attire,"the gentlewoman stated quite matter-of-factually, not caring who heard or really thinking about it. The raven on her left shoulder only cawed before calming at her mistress' touch caress of the feathers. The human doctor then turned and walked away to one of the chairs so she could double-check what vials she had prepared."Good. Good,"Dr. Lenz noted to herself while Freya rested on the back of said chair.'Beacon is not what it used to be...Let's hope we make it through this,'Drac thought, slightly distracted, as her avian companion would be looking around calculatingly.

The moment had finally come. He was awake just as early as everyone else was. This was the first mission that he was doing that really will have a very heavy amount of importance through all of this. This whole thing is what he was taught for those many years before attending this academy. As he would get up, he would see the chest that his master had kept locked into a box before opening it. There, he would see armor pieces that was reinforced for protection from Grimm if needed. Inari liked the present, but it felt weird going around in a suit of armor while everyone had normal clothes. Either way, he had put it on, and attached the dagger to his side along with sheathing his short sword to his waist. He really hope that all his training and his classes really paid off. The team was ready, and Sasselia took charge for them as they would head off. Inari really didn't know what to expect other than the many rumors he heard. He once heard that an extremist Faunas group went and kidnapped one of the students and some guy was hell bent on getting her back while the other wanted vengeance on these people. One could only imagine the hell these individuals went through. The one rumor that freaked him out the most, was the fact that there was this huge Grimm that took on being set on fire and attacked the last expedition team regardless of the fact it was dying.
As soon as Inari and his team had arrived at the location, he saw that they were given bags that had essential necessities for the expedition into this cave that they were told about. For a cave, it sure had an ominous name behind it. Either way, Rosa would cling onto Inari, as he would hold her tight to him. She must have been nervous of this. The fact that she had kept quiet while being around other teams was a clear sign. What was weird is that he never seen them before. Although, some of the women here were super cute. Just thinking about it, he could probably score some numbers with them. That thought soon would disappear as soon as Rosa would just run up to some guy and straight up hug him. "H-huh...!?" Inari was just left in awe a she just went to the guy. He was good looking, taller, and muscular which just added to Inari just grumbling in the back glaring. "Just who the hell is this guy?" He would whisper back to Sassy. The moment would soon finish before the group would go into the rovers and be transported within the cave's depths into where there would be this whole couch and rug and just a whole lounge in a musty cave. "What in the hell...?" He said, looking around inspecting everything that just seemed out of place.
┏━━━━━━━━┓ Aurelia Hayes ┗━━━━━━━━┛ ✬Deputy Head Mistress of Beacon Academy✬ Shadow Education Minister✬
Aurelia pressed her lips together, the typical sign that the deputy headmistress was displeased. They hadn't left the departure location yet, but already the students were bickering. Icy blue eyes lifted from her tablet to pinpoint the source of the yelling. Prince. They would have a repeat of the alpha and omega missions if these children did not start working together.
A glance at the time said everyone should be here. Her tablet was exchanged with a jar. The jar was mostly red with one silver band at the top and bottom containing an ornate pattern. Then she stood at the vault door and called the students to attention. "Good morning students," She began, her voice carrying throughout the small chamber. She waited a moment for the various conversations to die down. Not that there had been many. The mood was somber. "We will be heading north through the cave behind me. Our destination is known as Northshore. There we will scout and secure a location for the military to use as a base. It is expected, of course, that Grimm will be encountered along the way. I have with me a radio to send messages. This must be protected from harm." Aurelia turned the jar in her hands to reveal a label that read "Ashes of Dead Students" "You have all heard the rumours of the events which occurred in the Alpha and Omega missions. Three students perished. Many more were seriously injured. I cannot stress this enough to everyone who is here today. Put aside any grievances, personal misgivings, arguments or petty squabbles with classmates. You must stick together and work together, whatever your feelings are about the people and Faunus around you. Do not charge into a horde of grimm on your own, do not use attacks that injure your allies, do not split up and do not leave someone who is injured behind. Follow these instructions and you will avoid the fate of teams Alpha and Omega." It was with that message that she handed off the organization to the military while she returned the jar to the rover which brought her here.

A mission! It was exciting! Of course, it was dangerous too but Cerulean was too hyper to truly think too far into the consequences of his actions. He knew his team agreed to go and so he happily went along. At least it seemed three of them were. Their fourth teammate proved to be a bit fickle for now. Three was better than one! Cerulean was in a particularly cheery mood because he had discovered the existence of what he learned as a skateboard! Boy did it allow him to travel fast! A board on wheels! This was the greatest invention of all time. It was like sliding around without having to use his semblance.
With a kick of his foot, he pushed off the ground propelling his small form forward on top of the board. This beat walking by a mile! ”Woooweeee!” He pipped outloud with join, the cave doing its job in maximizing his voice causing it to echo further into the tunnel. He was vaguely aware he was running mildly late, all due to running back to his room to grab his board, Netami hadn’t even bothered to wait for him.
Sadly, he eventually arrived. Had his “weees” echoed all the way to where everyone was meeting? It was a curious question. With a tap on the back of the board he caused it to flip upward as he hoped off and caught it with his right hand. Seeing Aurelia, the infamously no fun vice headmaster, (he honestly could never remember her title) he shuffled awkwardly through the students looking for his fellow teammates. His eyes were quick to catch onto Netami and he made way towards her. ”You left without meeee!” He uttered once next to her. He blinked once noticing that someone else was next to Netami another faunus, he smiled at her and then turned to resume pouting at his teammate.
Lyosha truly was much different than he usually was. He was going on his first mission. Or anyone who doesn’t know- his family was very protective of their only son. What took him so long to actually arrive at the transport site that he was given was his mother, who lived not far from beacon academy itself was giving him a pep talk. Through all of this, his nerves were set on end. She spoke of when his family moved from their small town to the city, and how it was scary. That this mission that he was going on was no different! She knew, and Lyosha knew as well, that he had no problem facing those who knew much better than he did. And thus he left his home, with a mother and father in tears, hoping that this was not the last time they would see their son.
While it was alright getting to the location where he would get on a transport, he realized that...he didn’t have a team! He began to panic slightly. He was on this transport alone, and fighting something he had never fought before...It scared him! Surely he had fought wolves, people and hell, even massive robot! Why was this so scary?! Because he knew that these grim would kill him, in his brawls as a high schooler he was beaten badly, bruises covering his body and broken bones, but nothing more if he had not pissed off the right people. This got inside his head- causing him, on his transport to the vault, to get inside his head. He had memorized the looks of certain grim...and he ran it through his head over, and over again. They’re just people, but...much scarier, and stronger, and wanting to kill you! He thought to himself as he stood up within the transport vehicle, and paced. “Don’t forget to use everything, dopn’t get mad, be calm. Please, Lyosha, be alm. Don’t let your semblance get the better of you...Your head, your knees, hands, arms, elbows, every part of you is a weapon. Your skin is stronger than anyone else’s. You can take a hit but don’t take too many. You have some dust, although...Did I bring dust!? Oh no nonono” He said to himself as he frantically checked his backpack, to which the dust was there. Oh no- was he at the vault already!? It didn’t seem that long- But yes, it was hours since he had gotten into the transport vehicle. He took a deep breath as he stepped out- and to the people who knew him, or at least talked to him, this was an odd sight. He was red in the face and had sweet trickling down from his forehead. He was not exhausted, merely nervous to what would come. But also he had moved, and possibly shadowboxed in the vehicle, which was a reason why he was red. Yet he had a scared, grim expression on his face, unlike the cheerful and easygoing person that he was. He slowly stepped out, and raised his head slightly when he saw his team. That made him feel ever so slightly better about his chances of survival. He took a breath, and waved slightly. “H-Hey guys...Glad you’re here.” He said as he approached them, looking at the very excited Ceru and quietly calm Netami. Beside her- he saw Aya and waved to her and looked to the large crows. “O-Oh...Did everyone sign up for this-?” He said with a small shiver, “So we’re not completely f*cked, huh..?” Lyosha questioned as a smirk appeared on his face and cracked his neck slightly. He was liking his odds now...Wait! Oh no- He looked around in his bag for a second and it seemed- Indeed! He cursed to himself as he forgot his secondary! He looked towards one of the military members that were in the transport, “Do you have any weapons that I c-could borrow? I’ll be sure to return them…” Anxiety, unlike most times, filling his voice. (Ignore this if not possible/is a hassle to respond to.)

An officer approached the group that was just now forming. He gave a nod to Aurelia, Deputy Headmistress for her speech was adequate. It took a some of the load off of him as well which he was more than thankful for. He eyed the group for a long moment. Absorbing the group they had. Hunters often were the scouts for the military because they specialized in killing grimm. Even these beacon students were stronger at fighting grimm than the average soldier. This mission they expected some fighting, bit it was by and large believed that most of the grimm was wiped out during the last set of missions down here. This mission would hopefully be more mild and mysterious. He sighed. At least, they hoped so.
"Hello one, hello all!, I am Officer Felfius, at your service." Felfius bowed and tipped his hat with a flamboyance unusual to the military. "You were all selected, or volunteered for this mission, and I hope you're ready for some real mystery! You see, we finally cracked this massive vault behind us and are curious to see what lies beyond. Actually, we already trekked about an hour down, and found nothing. We really don't know what else is beyond that." Felfius started to pace around the group with his hands tossing to the side almost like a little girl prancing around a meadow. "All we found were more of the same old jagged rocks. Nothing out of the unusual, but since the crazy events that transpired in this very cavern last time, we have a special precaution." Felfius put two fingers in his mouth and drew a long, high pitched whistle. "Bring them over boys!" He shouted. The group would be able to hear the revving of engines before some beautiful white vehicles were driven over by other soldiers and parked all around the couch area. The soldiers would all hop out and tap the pristine looking vehicles with pride before tossing the keys one by one to Felfius who caught them with his left hand with ease.
Lyo ▬The one soldier Lyo had asked for a weapon shook his head, "Sorry kid, I can't give you mine, but in the rear compartment of each vehicle are three fully stocked rifles. You can access them when you in!"
"These are Vale's newest cave rovers! Each team will be getting one of these beautiful machines, and don't worry, they are easy to drive and come with state of the art self driving functionality even if you don't want to." Felfius walked to the center of the couch area and pulled out an electronic stick of sorts which he pulled open to form a hardlight pad. "Teams SKRA and APCN will be in unit one and two respectfully. APCN will follow behind SKRA who will be the leading vehicle on the left side." Felfius licked his fingered gloves as if turning a page of a book before flipping the screen to the next slide. "Zachariah, you'll be in vehicle three with Cerulean, Lyosha, and Netami. You four will be the leading vehicle on the right side of the cave." Felfius flipped to the last page. "Last, but not least, we have vehicle four which follows behind on the right side of the cave. You will have Shamilla, Aurelia, Dracaena, Jannet, and Prince. Four vehicles. Two in front, and two in back! Though I do see a note in here that Draceaena, you are allowed to shift to vehicle one with team SKRA if you so desire." Felfius then tossed a ring of keys towards each team or group to the first person who wants to catch it. He waved at the soldiers off in a distance and they signaled for the vault to be opened. Flashing red lights turned on as the slow inner-workings of gears began to move. The vault didn't seem to budge though. It likely would take a moment. "Get inside and get comfy! The Vault will take a hot minute to open, don't head out until you get the green light though!"
The V͞a͞u͞l͞t͞ door eventually opened wide, and Felfius would wave each vehicle to take its proper place in the formation given. The vehicle's dashboards would pop into life with fancy lights. The vehicle itself would move on its own if there was no driver. "Now, remember, your vehicles will be taking pictures and sending them back to us here at The V͞a͞u͞l͞t͞, so don't feel any need to do archaeology while out there in the cavern. We'll likely lose connection near the end due to the thickness of the earth, but we expect that once you find an opening in the cavern system to the surface that we will regain connection. Your vehicles enhance your scroll connections." Felfius pursed his lips trying to think of any more relevant information, but he couldn't. "With that, You got the green light! Head on out my friends!" The red lights flashing before turned green and the blaring siren from before turned to a more gentle beeping noise to signal they were free to go. The vehicles would rev up and head on out at a slow but sure pace. They covered the cavern floors with ease, and their suspension was so good that only the largest deformities in the floor were felt on occasion. It was like traveling in luxury.
One Hour Later
The vehicles would come upon what looked like a small military base. A few small vault like doors were placed on both the left and right side of the cavern. A few broken tables and scattered chairs littered the middle of the cavern. Scatches from what were probably grimm had torn the places to bits and a few skeletons had been scattered across the span of the cavern floor. The radio kicked in over the speakers of each rover and Felfiu's voice came through, albeit with a bit of static: "I'm sorry gang, but we won't be stopping at this location. The rovers are picking up high levels of radiation which you are protected from within the rovers, but are not equipped to deal with outside of. We'll be sending a HAZMAT team to check it out shortly. Keep your eyes peeled as this place was definitely attacked by grimm." This was obviously some sort of Atlas military base. It was very small, a forward base likely that had been torn to bits. The most impressive thing was that at the read of the base was a large mining machine. It was so large that the rovers could barely pass it on either side, and it was so long that it took a full minute before the thing was behind them. The rover's screens showed that they were actively snapping pictures, recording, and sending the information back to the Vault.
The rovers would continue their trip. A few destroyed Atlas droids could be seen every now and then. A human bone or two even, but the caverns were eerily quiet and dark.
Four Hours Later
A large distance was now between you and the Vault. Felfius came back over the speaker. "Hey guys, we are sensing a weak connection as some of you might see on the dashboards. We suspect we'll lose connection until you reach the end of the cavern. That said, the echomapper equipped to each rover has sensed a split in the cavern up ahead. We are assigning Vehicles one and two, that is SKRA and APCN to go down the cavern on the left, and three and four to go down the cavern on the right. It looks like the caverns split for an hour or two but then come back together at the end. Other than that, we will talk to you at the end!"
Felfius had notified them about forty two minutes ago that they were going to lose connection very soon, and twelve minutes later they had. The rovers stopped when they came up to the cavern split. The vehicles automatically took to their assigned tunnels and continued on.

Herja Activated ‖ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Netami's ears twitched backwards as someone shouted. Well someone was already having a bad day, she thought, witnessing more students getting off their transports. She turned back as Aya turned away from her teammates, and addressed her. Something caught her off guard, and her brow furrowed in confusion. The next couple days? Were missions truly that long when they started, and were they supposed to be below the Earth's surface for the entire time? Netami certainly wasn't claustrophobic, but the thought of being in such a confined space with so many others was not what she had planned. No wonder that kid was freaking out over it. Neta's usual expression slid over her features, and she smiled and nodded to Aya. "Happy to see you too," she responded, her voice low but a hint of happiness to it. The caves were rather wide, but a part of her still felt anything she said would reverberate off the slimy looking walls and to unwanted ears.
The more people were carted below ground, the more Neta took them in and recorded them within her scroll. Beacon was a large place, after all, and a good many of them she had not had the displeasure of meeting yet. A woman with a bird companion exited the vehicles next. She reminded Neta of a doll, and she cocked her head at the graceful movements, wondering if the woman was a humanoid robot with latex stretching over her physique to hide the shining alloy. She followed the woman's gaze as her mouth opened, and while she didn't understand why the bird was riled, she took it within her notes all the same. She supposed if she was a feline faunus, as the woman stated, she would understand it then, but marked the comment as 'unnecessary' in her mind. The bird cawed, and Neta's thoughts slid to her own uniform- which was her basic attire. Should she have changed? What was there to change to, she countered, rolling her eyes mentally before focusing on the others that came after.
A white haired boy with red eyes came next with a team. Neta barely got any notes about him written before her attention was being called toward the seats closer to the vault door. Deputy Headmistress, Neta thought rather excitedly. Either it was to see a woman of caliber speaking so matter-of-factly, or because Neta wanted to talk to her about a robot army in the future, the world may never know. Netami's orbs lowered to the prominent radio, before the Headmistress continued into what they all should be doing. She copied them down, and cocked her head at the jar of ashes. Fascinating! She wished to get closer, but regulated her emotions enough that she only took one step forward, her eyes giving away her excitement. Neta almost reached out a hand to the jar as it was transported to a rover, and she took a deep breath. Ashes couldn't help research into automatons anyways, she reminded herself. She still hadn't been able to go into her research about auras, and if every instance of death destroyed it. If there was even one body, one pile of ashes, that retained aura, what could that finding be for robots?! She knew the answer, and she knew it wasn't possible, but still Neta dreamed of the possibilities.
Netami's ears turned behind her as she heard another rover pulling up. Turning, she was just in time to be bombarded by her teammate Cerulean. "Yes," she responded. She wasn't trying to be cruel, and quickly followed up, "I needed information and wanted to come as soon as possible." That wasn't an apology, Neta thought, before Lyosha found them quickly after. "And you," she responded, nodding lightly to him. It was good they were both here, and even more so one of them knew Aya. She looked between them, wondering why they would have been screwed with less participants and, again, shuffled it away as a new military presence entered the scene.
A man with blossoms on the bottom of his cloak stepped forward, tipping his hat cheerfully. Felfius, Netami typed, and was intrigued by a call for mystery. She did so love puzzles! Her orbs glided over technologically new rovers, and her jaw almost dropped with the beauty of them. Self driving technology?! Netami almost swooned, ready to get her hands on that sweet, sweet tech. She was practically jittering with energy, and a wave of euphoria crashed through her when her name was called. She didn't even try to find out who Zachariah was as she jumped into the air to grab the keys to the third rover that she had been assigned to. Grabbing Cerulean, and motioning for Lyosha to follow, Neta made a beeline to their rover. One Herja broke off from her, the one without the backpack, to accompany Lyosha towards the rover. Getting inside, Netami marveled over the screens, knobs, and keys marking the vehicle. The new smell of it almost made her pass out completely, and her excitement did not wain as she sat in the driver's seat. She was bouncing with energy, and easily moved by any teammate that wanted her to, and she fiddled and took notes of the readings in front of her.
For the next several hours, Netami's jitters turned to slow thrumming throughout her body. She was fascinated with everything happening around her, of the images that were being picture, and of how deep the cave went. The concept of Grimm living within the cave didn't surprise Netami, but what did was how an entire military base had been somehow overrun by them. It didn't look well equipped, possibly a quick installation, but whatever they were doing: it was obvious they were trying to mine into the earth. Did the vibrations call the Grimm to their location? What was with the radiation? She smushed her face practically into the glass as a few Atlas droid carcasses were passed, completely ignoring the human bones, and had to stop herself from sighing as the technology was wasted. Other than that, she pressed on, taking notes and watching as the left caravan took another tunnel, passing from view quickly after. If the Grimm were smart, this would be the time to attack, she thought, looking back at her teammates, Zachariah, and her Twins with anticipation. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tessa had hardly been paying attention to anything going on, instead of focusing on making some last-minute tweaks to her weapons. She'd taken the time earlier to check her rounds and make sure the primers were flush with the casings, but bolts still needed to be checked for tightening, rails and locks needed to be lubricated, it was all quite a process and while the rhino girl loved her gauntlets, she wished they didn't have quite so many moving parts. She mostly knew that she would need to be very careful in this environment, her semblance was very useful in a cave but overstressing the structure and using her rounds without care could easily lead to a cave in

Ceru’s attention was sometimes easily lost and so was the case, not paying mind to Netami’s apology, or lack of one, if he had noticed. The adults were speaking and as he was taught (quite harshly as it was needed for him) when adults spoke he had to “shut up and listen”. Falling a bit unusually silent for his personality he listened, or did his best. Some of it seemed a bit confusing. Technology wasn’t his forté. As a matter of fact, he got too button happy and had a tendency to cause things to short circuit and in worse cases blow up. Fortunately for him, Netami and yet to learn of this habit. He didn’t want to be booted from the team so he had tried his hardest to avoid touching anything techy she worked with, oh but how he wanted to touch them.
During his process of putting together their mission (it was hard paying attention to what was going on with vehicles and other things being brought in), and they caught his fellow teammates attention as well. Seemed his excitement was contagious! Netami became unusually hyper, semi draggy poor little Cerulean over to the vehicle where she took the driver’s seat before anyone could say anything. The little penguin faunus shared his teammates excitement as he looked at all the different shiney and flashy buttons. It was eating him inside not pushing every single one to see what they did.
”Somanybuttonswhatdotheydo! Disone?! Whabout dis one!? Wanna push em all. Buttongasm!” He had no idea where he got the gasm from. He heard others use it for things like food gasm and just thought it meant excitement!
It was a good thing other teammates were there to keep him from pressing, his fingers got awfully close various times throughout the drive, which was very boring. Hyper penguin in closed spaces for hours with nothing to do besides pressing buttons!? How would his teammates entertain him? Keep him from blowing them all up? Well… Lyo had the size advantage.
On occasion, the slight variation in scenery would catch his attention. The vehicle was going to come out of this full of Cerulean and Netami face smudges on the glass.
Shamilla has been seemingly unaffected by the fact that she was going into her first mission. She went into it not feeling any particular sense of fear, but rather just a readily and quiet acceptance that she may or may not make it out of here alive, and even so, that was no cause for alarm since she had been gambling with her life since day one, and unwittingly from the very start of her life's journey. All this was very normal to her, playing the devil's advocate with her own singular life. None if it wavered her silent determination nor her general feelings of apathy towards this factor that would have shaken up so many people who were already comfortable in their everyday, stable lives. For Shammy, there was no such thing as an ordinary day, for she found that if she wasn't struggling with the idea of death knocking on her door everyday, she was making a fondly joke out of her constant state of existence. It wasn't out of a careless disregard of her life, but more so a calculated notion that even if she was to never see another day again out of the blue, she would rather go down in a blaze of glory instead of crying in her sleep. She supposed all these things things have made her strong, but also weak in some regards. But even then, she never minded this. And despite her roving and somewhat confusing mindset towards anything, she managed to get through her days without having to regret any of it. She was used to moving forward, never settling for a single feeling towards anything, and though it made her seem indifferent about her life in some regards, it was also a worthy and unhealthy plethora of convictions towards the surrealistic aspects of simply just being herself.
As she got off her transport, Shamilla immediately took in the scene before her. The huge cavern walls, the battle scars the whole location held, and the creeping darkness that never abated from their eyes and seemed to creep into their very corneas. She wondered what horrors others had faced when it came to passing by such treacherous territories. It did not help that she was the only member of her team here, but she knew she was far from being truly alone. Even so, she thought back on that last time she saw them and suddenly a surge of haze bubbled from within, almost as if she missed them already, and would not know when she'll be seeing them again. Predictably enough, these feelings quickly abated as she went from observing her surroundings to looking at the people around her as they readied themselves for the unknown onslaught that awaited them in the ever creeping darkness. Her inner voice was especially silent as they prepared to head into the caves, almost as if it too was listening for any signs that could possibly hint to anything that would go wrong in this mission. As she grabbed her gear a few seconds behind everyone else, and as she had to rip her eyes away from the haunting panorama view before her, she listened to the banter that went on around her, as the students exchanged 'goodlucks' and 'good to see you's' between themselves. She didn't join in on these, but merely looked on in silence and a casual glance. These guys must know each other well due to the fact that they were part of the same team and all, and she simply didn't want to intrude on anything, and stayed out of their way for the time being.

The fact she didn't cry or get mad but instead found the happiness in the situation made Prince confused. Though, he knew what she meant he couldn't help but blush softly at the comment just by the way it sounded. He knew her semblance probably was the cause of this happy demeanor. “Or we can not die. Easier option you know” He commented with a soft smile before listening to the announcements. Aurelia confirmed what he already knew and seeing her having ashes of the dead students was something he didn't know how to handle. Reluctantly, he grabbed Jannet's hand and would just squeeze it softly trying to find any type of relaxation. She was all he had at the moment. He had no friends there but he also had no enemies either. After her speech came an officer of the military that was explaining the situation that was at hand and dividing them up into teams. Deja Vu all over again. At least they were in vehicles this time and not just walking. When they were assigned groups, Prince would interestingly enough be the one to take charge and drive the rover. He figured it would be able to keep him focused and his mind from wondering about all the possibilities that could happen.
Once everyone was inside, he would follow along with the rover in front keeping a healthy distance between the two. He didn't mind the drive but underestimated how long it was going to take to get to the destination. When the time came for the split and the other group went to the other side of the fork in the cavern, Prince had no choice but to put the rover on autopilot and just hope for the best. His eyes would start to drift before he went to sleep, his head falling to use the person in the passenger seat as a pillow. Something was wrong though. He was muttering nonsense in his sleep. The main things that could be made out of, “you or me.......Stay the ******** back....Aburn is crazy......and the lady looking for relic”It made no sense at all out of context.
Jannet giggled as Prince seemed to calm down a bit as his words came out much softer than earlier “of course so let’s keep this as our mindset, if we do that we surely are going to be alright” she said with a bigger smile as her attention was shifted towards the announcement, she would listen to it as carefully as she could before her hand was suddenly grabbed and slightly squeezed by Prince, she would look at him a little surprised before having a small grin and continued to listen to both Aurelia and Felfius. The hand holding quickly stopped as Felfius threw the Rover key towards them and it seemed like Prince was quite enthusiastic about driving, she followed right behind him to the Rover and sat in the seat next to the driver. As they were driving through the cave she was a little nervous though it was not because of the mission itself, but because Aurelia being in the same rover as them. She tried to act calm and stop herself from doing anything stupid, she hugged her Bunbomb for most of the ride while hoping she doesn’t know the Bunbomb has an explosive inside of it. Once they got to the crossroad and Prince switched the rover to autopilot he fell asleep and after a few minutes his head rested on her shoulder, as his head hit her she almost jumped in place from the sudden force but quickly calmed down and let him rest, though once he started mumbling some weird things she started getting worried a bit, poking his head gently nonstop until he finally woke up “Prince~ hey Prince wake up, you say weird stuff” her pokes slowly became faster and faster until he finally woke up “yay~ he is normal again!”
