Drip. Drip. Drop.

Each team that volunteered for the mission receives a text with GPS coordinates, a map with estimated time of arrival, and a timestamp for when they are expected to arrive. The point was just outside of Vale's walls. A small military fort set up around the chasm in the ground that led down to the Alpha Cave. Once each group, or team arrived they would be approached by an officer in the military would would brief them on how they were going to be transported to the Vault. The Vault of the Alpha cave where a long and bloody series of missions had previously taken place. Each person is given a backpack full of supplies. Enough for a week long journey, and told meet at a way-point marked by GPS on their scrolls.

The cavern walls were unpleasantly moist. The cavern was jagged in all respects. The walls, floors, and ceiling were all cut with aged tools from long ago. The pressure in the caves were different. It felt like a storm was brewing. A quiet storm.

Once down, they find some cave rovers, specially equipped vehicles to transport them across the long distance to the Vault. You arrive and are guided to the Vault door itself where a large carpet is laid out with several couches. A very odd living-room looking arrangement in the middle of an open cave. There you will wait until the entire team is assembled

Drip. Drip. Drop.

[Feel free to post as much of the journey to the Vault as you wish, or just post that you simply arrive at the Vault. Feel free to post out of order and as much as you like until the next mod post, which will happen shortly with or without your whole team.]

Azura Knight
Great, another cave mission. Azura was starting to rethink he choice in weapon as both her scythe and sniper were hardly ideal in a cave environment, though she had managed to make some use of the ranged mode during their last cave mission. They had all been given survival packs which, for the most part, took care of anything Azura would bring herself. After inspecting its contents, she added her first aid kit and an extra flashlight with some batteries in case someone's didn't work. She didn't expect they would get a scroll signal inside the cave, so if someone got injured they were on their own. Finally, after talking it over with her team she decided to bring ice round, even if it did seem a little redundant with Cecil. Every other kind simply seemed like a bad idea in a cave setting.

It seemed team DVNT had yet another roster change, now to SHAA. JOLD and LMAA would be joining them as well, for a four-team squad. Sending so many students didn't bode well. What were they expecting them to find? After some thought, Azura decided it would be best for LMAA and JOLD should take the vanguard while DARK and SHAA took the sternguard. Something she shared with Ridley since it would ultimately be their leader who spoke with the others and decided where to position everyone.

Azura hopped off of the airship, one of the last people to disembark due to her shy nature demanding she let everyone get off first. Then she would stick with Cecil and Adam until Ridley gave them their orders.

'Another mission... this time I will not be a hindrance...' He mentally spoke to himself as he was informed of the mission, he had failed his team mostly last time due to their terrible partner and his injury. Since then, he had taken the time to nurse and recuperate under his own circumstances. He had gotten considerably stronger since last time, and his own team's bond was stronger than ever before. He was also informed of the other teams joining them, glad that Team DVNT no longer had Tessa, this would prove interesting.

He looked to the location as the airship with the teams all approached, he was standing on the balcony of the airship as it got closer before he looked to his side, seeing Adam. He nodded his head before looking back to Azura, giving her a thumbs up and a smile before he lowered his torso and jumped forward, his scarf flailing calmly in the slightly turberlent winds as he landed on the ground, tucking into a roll before he got to a standing position. His semblance was inactive for the time being, save for his normal cold aura to help regulate his temperatue, but seeing as how it was a cave, he'd have to regulate the range to keep it to himself. He turned face to look back up to the airship, waiting for Azura, Adam, and Ridley to join him at the spot.

Headphones in, eyes closed, doing a little dance Lena would look absolutely insane if one didn’t know her. The Faunus was blasting music with a beat to psych herself up for this. She’d spent days in her sanctuary, working on several projects to help ease her anxiety. With the help of Jazz-hands always checking in on her, Lena quickly learned to read lips on the off chance she would actually need it. Dancing, moving her head along, looking like an idiot/crazy person the insect member of JOLD would open her eyes to see Cecil and Azure immediately a head of her. From under the gas mask she’d point to the side of her head, hopefully to indicate she was listening to music. Spinning the dial to turn her volume down, though she could still hear music. "HI!!! WE ALL GOT THIS!" Giving them a thumbs up before dancing again, having fun and being in her own world.

Mission Time~ Mission Time~ C'mon everybody it's Mission Time! he sung in his head. Team DARK were all back together. Some pretty great things have happened as of late. Ridley recovered from her coma. Adam, the saint he was, practically -maybe literally- broke her out of the infirmary in a quest for sustenance. Cecil was in a sparring match expanding his fighting knowledge giving him an edge in future battles. And Azura...was apparently starting a harem and was getting quite the attention of some students. Quite the timid tiger they have on Dark, huh? The last of the events was something he had no clue of, but it still happened. And eventually, somehow, he would find out. The hum of the airship was everpresent in his ears and the small amounts of turbulence rock him back and forth. "Uoof!" he yawned. "This makes me want to take a nap." he said stretching. "We're approaching the LZ! Ready!" the pilot commanded over the comms. Adam, along with Cecil and Azura, stood up and approached the bay doors. Adam hopped up and down a got a little loose. "Heh, heh, Yeah boy~!" he calmly exclaimed with a smile. He cracked his neck and rolled his shoulders and watched as the doors opened. First Cecil jumped, but with a nod first. He happily returned it and watched as Cecil jumped from the aircraft to the ground. He put his hand on his chin pondering what he saw. "I give it a 8.5!" he decided. "8.5!" he yelled to Cecil. Adam let out a calm breath before holding his arms out in a T-pose. He turned on his heel, his back facing the open bay doors and looked to the lovely ladies of DARK. Keeping that initial momentum, he smiled at the two, "Ladies." he said with a wink before freefall. He was steadily descending head first to the target location with a small twirl. "Wooooooohoooooo!" he shouted. With an appropriate amount of distance between him and the cave, he flipped himself so he would crack his skull open. He focused his aura from his hips to the bottom of his feet and slid down the cave face with a more than satisfied grin. He made his way to the bottom and upon hitting it he spun a few times on the balls of his feet before pressing his back to the cave wall, arms crossed and with a smirk to Cecil. "'Sup? What would you give that landing?" he asked. "WE ALL GOT THIS!" he heard from his left. He flinched slightly at the volume considering she was far from them. Like at all. He chuckled a bit as she returned to dancing immediately. "She must be a member of one of the other teams." Azura followed the two young men not too long after as they waited for their leader. "Yo! Doin' your hair up there?!" he shouted to Ridley.

Danaë was nervous. She had a survival bag tied to her waist. It was in like a fanny pack. She had opted for Survival bars instead of things like MRE's. They had made her try one before she did that. They were bland as all get go, but she wanted to travel light. If she could have one on her back, she would have, but that could interrupt her wings, if she needed to use them. She knew in the caves, she wouldn't be able to fly, but the wings extended her reach a bit, and she was guessing she could add dust to them. She did not actually test this though.

Danae would jump from the airship. She wasn't the first to do so, but she activated her semblance to gently glide down to the ground. The moment that she landed, she would turn off her semblance. She wasn't trying to show off, she just wanted to make it to the ground safely. She took a look at everyone else that was here. It seemed most of team Dark had jumped off the airship first.

There was a human dancing there, She was wearing a gas mask and overall seemed care free. She said that they had this. Was this that person's first mission? The last mission that was imposed on them had gone badly. All of the hostages were killed. Danaë couldn't help but remember how useless she was as Narx had been stabbed. How shock caused her to go numb, and to make sure that the students were properly laid to rest, instead of being inside of the cave. Danaë grasped the horns she kept hidden in her feathers. It was a reminder of how she failed her teammate not once, but twice. She looked up, Narx had yet to leap down yet. She was waiting for him. She was in her mission outfit, ready to go.

The event of which many had started calling the Semblance Swap had been interesting, to say the least. What had started as the odd inexpiable phenomenon had turned much more dire as several of the students were suddenly thrust into comas. The leader of Team DARK among them. There was no rhyme or reason to the sleep-like state that suddenly condemned the students. There was no logical explanation for it. One moment they were well and awake, well mostly in Ridley's case, the next they were falling to the ground, consciousness stolen from them. All of them had been rushed to the infirmary and for days upon days they remained that way. Lying still upon hospital beds, the only indication that life still flowed through their veins was the metronome like beeping of the heart monitors. It was only after the unfortunate circumstances that an explanation for the event came, but even then the scientists couldn't be sure when, or if the fallen would wake. Ridley had been one of the first to wake from the sleeping curse, bringing hope to those who still waited for there beloveds to rise once more. Well, at least after the search that went on for her considering Adam had busted her out of there before anyone had even realized she'd awoken. In one fluid movement he had swooped her up onto her back and raced down the halls leaving the drone of the disconnected monitor far behind them. The infirmary was so overrun with coma patients that none were the wiser to her departure until long after the two miscreants had succeeded in their quest for sustenance. Even now, gazing out the window of the air ship, the memory caused a small smile to tug on the corners of her lips. Of course the events that followed were far less pleasant. After a firm lecture from her doctors, a rather disgruntled Ridley was dragged unwillingly back to the infirmary to go through a variety of different tests. No one was sure how the coma might have effected her any of the other victims. No one was sure if there would be other symptoms upon awakening. As strange as it was, the raven haired huntress seemed to be nothing short of healthy. Still, to her dismay, she was monitored over the next couple of days just to be sure. As far as anyone could tell, there wasn't a thing wrong with her. The moment golden hues had opened to the light once more, everything had fallen back into place. There were no left over side effects from the event, at least not any that could be tested with needles and machines. Not even ones that could be seen by those around her. Except for possibly her teammates, her friends. Ever since awakening, something seemed off with the fiery girl. Something so subtle it was hard to depict and yet so blatant it was impossible to miss. While most days she laughed and joked with her teammates and bounded forward with her never-ending game of banter with Adam. While she was still as stubborn and hot-headed as ever. While her tongue was just as sharp and her glare just as toxic. While at moments she seemed entirely normal, there was something unquestionably different. Something one would only catch if they paid enough attention to her. Her morning brawls with her bedding had grown all the more violent, often happening long before anyone else had woken. For the first time ever, the night owl was the first up and dressed some days and the signs of sleep deprivation had begun to show in the soft purplish crescents beneath her eyes. The master of jump scares had suddenly become jumpy herself, glancing paranoid looks over her shoulders at even the softest sounds. Then there was that look in eyes, pools of liquid butterscotch turned cold as they gazed off into the distant. Lost to her own thoughts when she thought no one else was looking.

There was a simple explanation for these strange behaviors, as subtle a change as they might be. Yet it was an answer the none on her team could begin to guess. The one that might come the closest would be Adam, though even for him it would be a long shot. The hints he held were vague, as they always were, and not nearly enough to put together the entire puzzle piece. Of all the many secrets hidden in her past, of all the ones Adam had managed to unlock, Zander was the one she kept locked away the deepest. He was the one thing she never mentioned to anyone. Truthfully, until she admitted his existence to Adam back in the infirmary, no one would have ever guessed she even had a brother. How could he ever know that all of this was due to her brother, even if she had briefly mentioned him. How was he supposed to know that Zander was the cause of that nightmare and that sense of dread and anxiety she couldn't quite seem to shake. Sure, he had witnessed her waking from the very nightmare that was still haunting her, but, she'd never really explained it to him. After all, it was just a nightmare. Everyone had them. Why would this cause such a change in their fearless leader? Why would she let such a silly thing effect her? Initially she had thought it would just fade away, like they always did. After all, Ridley was victim to more nightmares than she would ever admit to. It was a nightly ritual of sorts, but as the morning sun blazed in the sky and cast the earth in its golden light, she was always able to push them back, to forget them. She had tried to do the same with this one. She'd tried locking it away and forgetting about it. She kept wishing the details of it would fade, but even now, weeks later, it was just as vivid as the day she'd had it. Even now she could see Ayven crumpling to no more but dust beneath his pale fingers. Even now she could feel her heart shatter in her chest only to cut her up from the inside out., the slow agony as the jagged pieces tore through her delicate innards. Even now she couldn't stop the shudder that ran through her body as the nightmare replayed itself for what must have been the billionth time. While others laughed, joked, or prepared for the mission, she was still staring out the window, stuck in her thoughts about Zander, the one entity she hated most on this planet. More than her b*****d of a father. More than Scylla, wherever the hell she was. More than the grim even. Zander was at the very top of that list and while he had always been a thought at the back of her mind, ever since that nightmare he had been consuming her entire thought process. Something felt... wrong. She wasn't sure what, or why, or even how. She just knew there was something off and while anyone that knew the truth might have called crazy or paranoid to get so caught up over nothing more than a dream, Ridley had never been prone to paranoia before. Not even Zander's presence. Besides, she knew her brother better than anyone. She knew his twisted games. She knew how he liked to get under people's skin, just enough to make them itch. Itch until it drove them to madness. She knew Zander, and this had his name written all over it. Which was exactly why she had been so jumpy, she was waiting for him to jump out at her from the shadows.

Lost to the turmoil of her own mind, it wouldn't be until Adam called to her from below that she realized they'd arrived. Sighing softly she'd shake her head in an attempt to clear it, fingers reaching up to prod and rub her temples. Amber orbs, dark and cold, swimming with the ghosts of her pasts would flutter close. Long lashes would brush against her cheeks as she stood there silently for several moments. Anyone watching might have thought she was trying to banish a migraine, but in all reality she was trying to banish something much worse. Zander was more wretched than any pestilence to have ever plagued the earth and she couldn't afford to have him plaguing her mind. Not now. Not in the midst of a mission. Not when the lives of her teammates, schoolmates, and the citizens of vale possibly depended on it. Nostrils would flare and her chest would rise as she sucked in a massive breath. She would hold it there for a moment before letting it pass slowly through her lips, the stray strand of hair dangling over her slightly freckled-nose dancing on its breeze. Only once she'd expelled all of the oxygen from her lungs would she open her eyes once more, and rather than dark and cold like a dying stare, they were burning, brimming with a fiery brimstone. Catching a glimpse of her reflection in the glass, she'd hold her own intense gaze for just a moment. He doesn't own you. You aren't afraid. It was hard to say whether the words were thoughts of certainty or if she was trying to convince herself of it, but one thing was to not be mistaken. She would not let Zander rule her mind and she would not let him get in the way of today's quest. Striding forward, she would leap off the ship in one fluid motion. In a blurred medley of black and gold, she would maneuver and flip herself through the air only to land gracefully right behind Adam. She did her very best to land as close to him as possible without actually landing on top of him, in an attempt to startle him. Black boots would click across the floor as she stepped around him look him in the eye. Golden orbs would gleam mischievously as she met his deep earthen hues, a playful smirk cracking her lips. "Well, yes actually." She would claimed, placing a delicate hand so boldly upon her hip. "Had to make sure all the snakes stayed hidden and tucked in place. It would be rather unfortunate if I turned anyone to stone." Reaching up with her other hand, she would tug gently on her long, dark locks, braided so carefully over her shoulder. She was playing once again on the notion that without her beauty sleep she turned into Medusa, and considering the lack-there-of she had recently, it would make sense for a few of those ungodly features to make their way through. As always she was doing what Ridley often did best. Rather than face and address her feelings, she was brushing them all aside with jokes. "Just doing my part as a benevolent leader and putting your well-being first." Rasing her hand from her hip she would salute Adam in her Ridley-like fashion, before falling into laughter.

As uncharacteristically somber as she might have been on the ride here, she seemed nothing more than her usual self, amber eyes alight with the life they had sometimes lacked over the past couple of weeks. For now thoughts of her brother were kept at bay, even if it was only the purity of her hard-headed stubbornness and her refusal to screw up this mission that kept it that way. He had hurt enough lives as it was, the last thing she was about to do was let him ruin more by clouding her judgement during such a dangerous task. "Another cave mission... they must not the world to see Mr. Goofy over there." She'd muse jerking her head towards Adam while flashing him a teasing wink. Ironic it was, really, that their first mission together had been to investigate an old mining shaft and here they were at the mouth of another cave. Ironic, a bit amusing even, but the raven haired huntress was certainly not pleased. She hadn't admitted it the first time and she wasn't about to admit it now, but the one thing she truly feared... well, other than her brother, was confined spaces. Perhaps this was worse, in the sense that the fear was completely irrational. If the space was tight enough or if she was constricted enough, it sent her into irrational panic. At least with Zander there was good reason to fear him, and she could usually keep it under control. Even if it was only her indignant pride refusing to let him see her fear. Even though their last mission within a cave had been a disaster thanks to Scylla, she'd managed to keep her calm throughout the event. Even when she'd fallen into that hole, and again when she had been pinned by the beam. Surely she could manage that again. At least this time she didn't have to worry about the ignorant red head screwing it up. She had talked briefly with Azura beforehand, they didn't know all the teams personally, but they still seemed better off than their last pairing. Team DVNT, who had received yet another name change, would be here, and while their relationship had started out rocky, their little luncheon had smoothed things over. She agreed with Azura that it would be best if they took stern-guard with them, but she would wait til the rest of the teams got here to discuss it with them. It seemed for the moment, they were the only full team to have assembled.

So this is what it was like to fly. An aircraft that carried them from the safety of Beacon towards whatever mess they were about to get themselves into. The real oddity is that this wasn't their first mission, but the events of it were completely hazy. As if they arrived, they kicked some butt, then everything went black. The horned boy had to wonder if this was just another mess due to his semblance, or if something had actually happened to them. ... Then again, when was Felix one to ever second guess the moment? Eyes of umber shining bright with excitement was a clear indicator he was ready to go, ready for whatever this gave had in store for them.

Not to say this mission was the only exciting thing to happen as of late. It was a little under two weeks ago that some incident threw everyone's aura into disarray, leading to chaos and unfortunate aftermath. For many, it was a wacky time of oddities that many got to laugh off in the end. Even his sister got to experience blissful ignorance, which frankly was quite adorable. That said, the story was completely different for himself his half sighted assistant. From a series of resurfacing memories to the bonding of a lifetime, that day itself was easily the most important stepping stone for the boy's future. Whether or not he was aware of it was the question. That day, of course, ended in some sense of a tragedy as Zylah was silenced when the world was set right. Something that Felix remembered so clearly, the memories of the past melting away as he caught the unconscious girl in his arms. In a snap, he remembered everything that had happened through her eyes. Not only that but a series of intense emotions associated with that day. Guilt, regret, and fear. Not all was wrong, though, as she too felt a sense of relief, acceptance, bitter happiness and something that he couldn't quite grasp himself.

Then, now filled with a complex medley of emotions on both their behalf, proceeded to spend the next few days by her side with the exception of a few instances. Together they talked. Well, he talked. Telling her all the things he remembered because of her, all the things that she was missing, and all the things they had to do when she woke up. After all, whatever happened to that date they were supposed to have? There was another, of course, her own teammate that worried deeply for her. ... At least, he thought. Until that last day, he snuck in while the two were sleeping. During some fit of nightmares, the scorpion girl had taken a position to strike Zylah. A sight that didn't sit well with Felix, and unbeknownst to the scorpion girl, he too had taken the position to intervene with his own weapon. Fortunately, the heat of the moment boiled down and no one had to take action. Still, that scene was something that still continued to be an itch under his skin he couldn't quite scratch. To make matters worse, he knew how little friends Zylah truly had, which made it all the harder in deciding on whether or not to share what happened.

While that wasn't the last thing on his mind, it certainly got pushed back the moment Zylah came to the waking world. Up until that moment, it really felt as if he lost a piece of himself, and that wasn't talking about the chipped horn he had turned into a gift for her. With his lovely assistant back among the living, it was as if the world was reborn. A dulled sense of happiness and optimism were as bright as ever, likely due to their own developments during the semblance swap. Of course, they took a moment to welcome Zylah back in the greatest way Felix could imagine. An endless series of puns that would make anyone wish they were back in that coma, but she took each one with stride and bounced right back in good Zylah fashion. Once all that was squared away they were ready to check out of this forsaken place. Of course, Felix being Felix and Zylah being Zylah, it was impossible to keep the two from one another. Under the reliable excuse that her legs had gotten too weak from laying in bed so long, the tiny but mighty huntress had taken siege of the boy's shoulders and horns. Piggybacking became something of a tradition between the two, as was the elaborate nose boops and endless series of tackles that the tiny huntress often tried to pull off. While a state of weakened legs was a believable reason, it was honestly just some silly excuse for her to try to steer the umber eyed boy mad. Jokes on her, however, as the boy was far from sane as it was. After all, how could the two get along so well if he wasn't?

It was the four of them that left; Felix, Zylah, Charlotte, and of course Molly. Zylah was on his shoulders while their lovable feline was atop of her own. If Charlotte was intending to stick around was something that Felix wasn't aware of, but the boy himself had a number of plans for the waking Zylah. After all, he knew that pineapple sucker wasn't going to be enough to satisfy that insatiable sweet tooth of hers. His own first priority was to take the girl, or girls, to get actual food in the cafeteria. In his mind, it was reclaiming the 'date' they never got the opportunity to take. Of course, also in his mind, he wasn't quite aware of what multiple people tagging along for that would be. After all, what was the harm in getting food with some dear friends of his? A thought that apparently Zylah didn't quite have herself. With a destination in mind, the horned was well intent on leading them all to the cafeteria. It seemed, however, the sky-hued huntress atop his shoulders was intending to steer him another direction. Once they had missed the entrance to the cafeteria, Zylah voiced her plan to go find Lunia to show her she was alive and chipper as ever. And well... Who was Felix to deny her that? Zylah was the one with the wheel, after all~ Following a series of searching high and low with the occasional meow of excitement from Molly, their target had come in sight. Steering like a madwoman, Zylah had driven the boy right on the path for a head-on collision with her dearest leader. It was only in the last split second that she turned his head and leaped off his shoulders, tackling the woman with a mighty hug that was long overdue. Made even better by the cat that stayed on her shoulders, meowing eagerly as they tried to tackle Lunia to the ground. Felix himself had fumbled just enough to crash into the wall beside them, his horns getting stuck in the splintered wood pieces. If it wasn't for his hard head, it might've actually hurt. Instead, he was able to laugh it off in hysterics just as Zylah and Lunia had with the hug and heartwarming reunion.

Over the ten days, aside from the frequent medical checkups, Zylah begrudgingly had to oblige to, it was filled with a series of fun events and catch up. Even then, Felix was willing to attend if allowed. Something that may have shocked his sister and Zylah alike, as they both know how much the boy detested hospitals and medical staff alike. More than ever it seemed that the two were inseparable, aside from the moments their teams divided them. Those were few and far between, however, as these troublemakers always had a way to make things work. In that time they had gone on countless adventures that they had missed out on, missing numerous classes in the process. Consisting of endless piggyback rides and an array of sweets, the two had finally managed to accomplish whatever that date thing was they had set out to do.

It was something about soaring through the sky that made Felix reminisce the past few days. A time where it felt like he was truly alive, truly living his own life and not some fabrication of someone else's memories. Could this have been the first time in his life he got to truly live? That he wasn't just some tool of destruction, some mess of memories lost in another life? Many of those nights were looking at the recordings that Zylah had helped him with. Words of advice from a version of him that remembered everything, that was crushed by the weight of the world they were born into. It was a chance of redemption, a chance to change the path he had been forced to follow in the past. A version of him that was lost was trying to save the one in the present from a future of untold turmoils. The real question was, could this horned boy truly change his fate? 'Kinzo, Domon, Hiro.' It happened again, the words of someone so somber and defeated. Names spoken in guilt, regret. A whisper of doubt that since the semblance swap had been occurring. Each name was met with an expression of grimace, even if only a for a moment. For each time it held an unbearable weight. Did he know these names because of the message from the past, or... Was he truly starting to remember something? Before he could think too much into it, he'd hear a soft meow. A familiar sound that often grounded him to reality. Umber orbs shimmered softly as golden rays trickled through the bay windows, just blinding enough to bring him back to reality. 'I heard them again.. I wonder what they were like.' Eyelids would flutter through darkened locks, just now noticing the weight on his shoulders. It wasn't the weight of the world trying to crush him again. No, it was far too light for that. Warm, too. Not to mention that weight rarely ever gripped onto his horns so tightly. Nor had it ever tried to steer his head while her own white locks were tucked behind her ear because of a piece of his horn. With reality seeping in once again, the umber eyed boy would smile as he tilted his head upwards towards the girl who was ready to steer him towards the bay doors. His earthen tones looking for the mismatched hues of the sky, just before a snicker escaped his lips. "Oi, I didn't realise you were so boring that you could send me on a snooze cruise. Why didn't you tell me we were here already?" That was more like him. A mocking trickster trying to pull a smile from the girl that often rode atop his shoulders with a cat atop hers. For him to worry so much about himself, about the future, it was uncharacteristic of him. A series of thoughts he would instead force aside, instead of ready to receive Zylah's own as her fingers danced around his horns.

Until she steered him otherwise, the boy would step away from the window in order to turn to those aboard the landing airship. Never before had he seen so many students crowded together. A number of familiar faces that he's met both in person and memory, then just as many unknown. To make things more interesting, they also had Miss Jaws assigned at their teacher escort in all of this. That either meant this mission could get really messy or, they just needed to break something. Umber orbs would continue to glance around with each step, spying both his sister then immediately locking onto Lena as she began to jam out to whatever tune was blasting. The sight was enough to bring a huge grin to his face before nudging Zylah up with his horns. "Bet we could beat her in a dance-off, what' cha think? We nailed it pretty good at the ball. After you nailed me, of course." He'd snigger, wicking playfully up at the girl. It didn't even occur to him some of the innuendos that could be discerned from such words. It was instead him remembering back to the first head-on collision that brought the two together initially. It felt as if the heavens had crashed down into the earth itself, only to send them on the ride of a lifetime.

Unsure of Lena noticed them staring or not, the horned boy still passed a wave to the girl before turning on his heel to the bay door. That was, of course, unless Zylah had another path in mind for him. He noticed a particularly active group that he hadn't seen before. At least, most hadn't seen. There were two he recognized from the hospital. A raven-haired woman with brilliantly gold accents who seemed lost in thought, one of the fallen. Then a much louder, much more lively spirit with darker skin that had visited her countless times. That guy and Felix were very similar in both those fronts, and the horned boy was sure they were going to get along. Then next to the bay doors was another male, one that just seemed to give Felix a refreshing chill by looking at him. By him was another raven-haired girl that seemed the meekest out of them all, possibly nervous about this whole mission going under weigh. Felix only had the chance to take maybe two steps towards them before the bay doors opened, letting the eager students leap into action in various fashions. Even the one lost in thought took action, being the first official team to take charge of the situation. Next up was a tiny ball of feathers taking flight from the airship.

It was watching everyone make their stylish exits that really got the horned faunus pumped and excited. His playful grin grew wide, the term act before you think was one he lived by. Buckling his hands around the tiny huntress' ankles to keep her steady, he'd nod up at her again with fire beaming in his umber hues. "Oh man, we're gettin' beat out there! Throw on the turbo and buckle in, Zy, we can't be in last place!" It wasn't a suggestion, it was a statement. One that was shouted loud and proud, likely pulling the attention of the remaining students onto the pair. To his words, Molly meowed enthusiastically as if to egg the two on. He paused only for a moment as if waiting for Zylah to make some silly car reference as he hummed a vroom under his breath. Once he was certain they were ready, which was entirely on impulse, the boy would leap forward in a run towards the bay doors. Kicking off the edge of the airships exit, the horned boy and white haired girl would leap to the sky. Last minute, though, the ball of fur known as Molly that road on Zylah's shoulders would leap back off into the airship. Of course, the effects of gravity took hold immediately and brought the two plummeting down. Fortunately for them both, Felix braced his legs for impact as the two touched down. While some may have tried to land with elegance, it was Felix who was trying to land with emphasis. With his own natural strength and the weight of two, their contact would be firm and loud as he took a superhero landing. The only difference was that he had a just as eager huntress on his shoulders, likely braced against his horns. The two had landed not too far from Adam and Ridley, putting Felix in just enough earshot to hear some of their golden leader's quips. Adam, of course, seemed full of them himself from the flight here. The boy would rise to a standing position with a smirk on his lips, nudging Zylah again. "I think they're trying to compete with us. I like'm. ... But.." Shifting his shoulders to let go of one of her legs, he'd draw his unarmed finger guns to a snap. "We'll have to show them who the best pun-slinger around these parts are, won't we?"

It was with much excitement that the rambunctious little huntress had left the infirmary after an impromptu and unwilling nap. Or at least that's what she kept referring to it as. Just a nap. Not a coma that spanned over several days and left her teammates and friends, not to mention a certain umber hued boy very worried. For one who was always looking to cause mayhem and chaos, the unexpected and unwelcome timeout was a bit of a disappointment. At least once she had figured out that was what had happened. Needless to say, she was a little overzealous to get out of that bland room. With the help of her partner in crime, she was out of there in a snap. Charlotte tagged along and Zylah took her spot upon Felix's back, steering him by the horns all over Beacon until she found her beloved team leader and friend. Was Lunia ready for the greeting that awaited her? Probably not, but that surely wasn't going to stop this little cannon ball. With a surprising amount of agility, Zylah would climb her way up Felix's back like a cat until two tiny feet stood upon his shoulders. It was a good thing she didn't way very much, otherwise Felix would have really had his work cut out for him, and that's considering he was even able to remain standing... well, mostly. He did make quite the impact with the wall, but the way Zylah saw it, the splintered wall had it worse off. "LU!" That was the only warning the blue-haired huntress would get before she used Felix's shoulders as a springboard and hurled herself towards Lunia. Delicate arms would wind tightly around the girl as she tackled them both to the ground, quite ungraceful in her excitement, not to mention she hadn't actually used her legs in days. Once they were both back on their feet, well Lunia on her feet and Zylah in her rightful spot upon Felix's back, she learned that she'd missed a lot during her nap. For starters Aaron had slipped into a coma as well, and while she had woken, he was still asleep, just like many others. It was rather sad, but the exciting bit was they had a new teammate to take his place. One might think she would try to hold back when first meeting the boy named Vance, whom if she didn't know better could be her brother by appearance alone, but that was just unlike Zylah. It would be in a wave of excitement that she introduced herself to him, her naturally bubbly nature the only disguise she needed for such a troubled and twisted past. It was hard to think that such an innocent and naive girl could have so much blood staining her hands. To think that she was capable of such horrific deeds. They were secrets she'd done well keeping during her time at Beacon. In fact the only one who knew anything about it was Felix, and she hadn't exactly told him by choice. It was just a coincidence caused by the slightest brush of skin... if a tackling him headfirst to the ground could be considered slight. Even so, a coincidence all the same. She never meant for the secrets to slip through, she was completely unaware of everything she had shared with him through all their little touches. Until the day off the semblance swap when both his past and hers had come to life, well she'd been none the wiser. The thoughts had always haunted her mind, on the rare occasion slipping through her expression in the form of fear, panic, or guilt, if for but the slightest moment. Her mind had always been a safe place to let the thoughts torment her, as long as she didn't let anyone see through that playful smirk of hers. That had all changed after she met Felix. Perhaps it was a happy accident, because ever since that night when they'd shared so much of their tainted histories with each other, she'd felt a small sense of relief. Not enough to ease the guilt, not enough to make her want to share this secrets with others... they might not understand, but for the first time she didn't feel alone in her darkness. Perhaps sending the girl to Beacon was the Tribe's, or rather a certain father figure's worse mistake, because for the first time she wasn't alone and she knew what it meant to be loved. To be really loved, not just used and manipulated. Not just Felix, but her team, her friends. They were the closest thing she'd ever had to a real family.

Of course, after their speedy escape from the infirmary, she was eventually brought back to go through all the other tests that the awakened coma patients had to go through. Checking vitals, blood tests, and just trying to determine there wouldn't be any other side effects. Just like any child forced to go to the doctor's for a series of shots and medications, the troublesome huntress was sure to make a bigger fuss out of it than it was worth, but to be fair, she did have to get poked a few times. It didn't really hurt, the girl had grown immune to such minor pain long ago. A life full of torture tended to do that to a person. Eventually your body and mind became accustomed to the poking and the prodding, to the bruising and the scaring. Eventually a part of you just went numb and it stopped hurting entirely. Still, Felix was sure to fill her up with sugar afterwards and take her on all the adventures she wanted. After all, he still owed her a date, which they eventually got around too. Though, breakfast became more of a midnight snack. Not that it really mattered for the tiny girl. After all, she was planning on having ice cream and candy no matter what time of the day it was. Finally alone, the two also had a chance to finish their conversation from all those nights before, cut short as the light was stolen from Zylah's eyes and the memories from Felix's mind. What a difficult conversation it had been. Relieving the memories and bringing all the guilt to the surface. It had been a painful kind of torment, but it had also brought them closer, forming a bond like no other. It left a strange sense in relief in some sense. Despite the chaos they endured and the excitement that followed, it seemed everything was falling back into place. The biggest problem was getting the girl to go to sleep after the entire affair. "I've had enough sleep for a lifetime! I don't need anymore!" She had exclaimed again and again, usually while bouncing up and down on her bed or some other shenanigans. Surprisingly enough, she actually made it two whole days without sleep. Whether it was endless sugar rush or pure stubbornness that kept her going was hard to determine, but as they saying goes, what goes up, must come down, and eventually she did. "Noooo. I don't want to go back." Honeysuckle voice disgruntled and childish, but muffled with sleep. "I'm not tired! I can--" Her own body would betray her lie as a massive yawn stretched her lips wide. "I... I can keep... going." Each word was growing softer as sleep fought to take her, mismatched hues fluttering slowly as she fought to keep them open. Valiant a fight as she put up, it was a battle she eventually lost as her had lolled gently atop his shoulder. Hands that had been clinging so tightly around his shoulders fell listlessly to her side, legs dangling limply by his side, fallen asleep in her usual spot on his back. It was only thanks to Felix that she made it back to her bed, but after a full night of sleep, she was right back at it. Granted, she slept well past all of the others. By the time she woke the rest of her team had already left the dorm. Perhaps they would learn the very vital lesson to never leave such a mischievous girl alone for too long.

It wouldn't be by chance that she found Vance's paints. In fact, that was exactly what she had been looking for. She had seen the boy in the process of a masterpiece the day prior and while she had made him process to help her paint today, she had grown just a little too impatient while waiting for him to return. What team LMAA would return to instead was a complete and utter mess. Lying on her stomach in the center of the room, legs kicked out behind her, and tongue protruding from the corning of her mouth was a paint streaked Zylah. It was splattered in her hair, smeared across her face and arms, and her hands just looked like she had dipped them into paint buckets. Which, upon closer inspection proved to be partially true. At some point she had given up on brushed and started using her fingers instead. The room around her seemed to be in no better shape than she was. "WAIT!" The frantic shout would come just as soon as the door opened. "Cover your eyes! Don't look yet!" In the blink of an eye the girl was on her feet, which also somehow managed to have paint on them, tiny footprints of blue following wherever she tread. Picking up three sheets of paper, she would walk over to Lunia, Charlotte, and Vance all in turn. Smeared upon the pages were three very bright and very crudely drawn pictures that looked like they came from the hands of a three year old. Pictured on the one she gave Lunia was what could be assumed as the aforementioned, by the steaks of blue, and Zylah herself on the first day they'd met, after the battle in the courtyard when they'd first met and became teammates. On the page she handed Charlotte was a very abstract portrait of the two of them in the dressing room when they'd searched for dresses before the ball. Then, lastly, on Vance's it looked to be a boy with a strange blob in his hands, which could be assumed it was his camera, chased around by Zylah who was trying to take. It was in fact a depiction of when they had first met and the girl had gotten just a little too curious and much too excited. Despite her poor art skills, it was a sweet gesture. Granted, was it worth the mess they all had to clean up afterwards? At least Vance hadn't grounded her from the paint like Aaron had the paprika in the kitchen. He just made her promise not to attempt it again without his help, which she was bound to by the ultimate contract of trust: a pinky promise.

It had worked out just splendidly that they were going to be going on the same mission as Team JOLD, of course there were a plethora of reasons as to why Zylah was found of the idea, but the most important factor was she had one more painting left and she had been waiting for perfect chance to give it to a very special horned boy. Perhaps the wee moments leading up to a dangerous quest was not really the ideal time, but for her it was. So after collecting her survival pack that the school had prided and slinging it over her shoulders she would almost skip towards the airship. If not for the massive sword sheathed across her back, she might have been mistaken for a school girl headed off for her first day of school, the brightly colored paper grasped in her hand only added to the effect. White strands of hair tucked so carefully behind her ear by a glistening obsidian clip given to her by Felix. It was a special gift, one that literally let her carry a piece of him with her wherever she went. So even though it was strange to reveal those mismatched orbs of a cloudy sky to the world, she hadn't parted with it since he'd clipped her hair back for the first time in the infirmary. Her blinded eye was something she'd always tried to hied. It was just a reminder of betrayal and a sign of weakness. The horned boy seemed to see it differently, for whatever reason that was. Now, she may have been the one with half vision, but it was him that didn't see it coming. Whether it was just a bit of luck, or fate was on her side, his back would be turned to her when she pulled herself onto the airship. Sprinting past the students already aboard, squeezing through them much like she had at the ball, she would practically vault herself onto his shoulders and in that same instance, double over his head to bring them nose to nose. She could never leave out a nose boop, especially now that she knew their purpose. Instead she still worked to make each one unique and creative. It was only once their greeting ritual was done with that she would hold the painting in front of him, likely much to close to his face for him to actually see it. In the same crude fashion of the paintings her team had received, was a brightly colored picture that's true contents could really only be guessed. What it was intended to bee was the depiction of the same stance they were taking now. Felix with Zylah upon his shoulders, and Molly atop of hers. "Vance let me use his paints so I could make it for you!" Let being a very relative term. With her stunt out of the way, one might expect the tiny huntress to climb down, well anyone not a part of Team LMAA or Team JOLD, whom must have grown accustomed to this sort of behavior. Rather than coming to stand on her own two feet, the girl would settle herself comfortably onto his shoulders just as she had done countless times over the past ten days.. The only difference now was that she had not the excuse of a broken leg like in their last mission, or sleep-ridden legs from her days spent in a coma. There was no reason for it now other than the fact that she liked to be up on his shoulders and he didn't seem to mind having her there.

It was only moments later that the airship would buzz to life and begin take off. An excited gasp would leave the girl's mouth, mismatched hues alight with excitement. Felix would have but a second to catch the painting as her hands released it and tiny fingers curled around his horns to steer him to the window. A look that could be described of childlike wonder would adorn her features as she watched the ground getting further and further beneath them. Truthfully the girl had never been transported in such a way, and as with most things that were new to her, it left her enthralled. A misty cerulean gaze would not falter from the window as she watched the scenery below them, captured by its beauty. Time escaped her as she left the boy to his own thoughts. It was only once he spoke that she was pulled from her own daze, but as always, she never missed a beat. Leaning forward slightly to look him in the eye, that signature smirk of hers would find its rightful place upon her lips. "I just figured you might need a little snooze to prepare yourself for the upcoming battles. Can't have you slowing me down after all." She would tease, releasing one of his horns just long enough to poke him in the center of the forehead. As his gaze scanned the rest of the airship, she would squirm around on his back searching for the faces of her team, smiling at each of them in turn, only then would she examine the rest of the students on the ship. Other than the members of Team JOLD, she didn't really know anyone else. A familiar face she'd once past in the halls or seen in glass, but she couldn't recall a name. Fortunately it didn't really matter as Felix turned their attention to their very own Lena. Snickering uncontrollably under her breath she nodded and leaned down close to whisper in his ear. "Beat her? There's no competition. We've got this in the bag!" Really whispering was redundant, considering Lena had her music playing so loudly she wouldn't have heard Zylah even if she screamed. However, the more concerning matter was likely that the innuendos Felix had accidentally used went right over Zylah's head creating either an amusing, or uncomfortable situation for those who happened to over hear. Zylah hadn't wasted a second thought on it, for as the bay doors open, the child-like huntress became giddy with excitement. Squirming around to get a better look, bouncing up and down with her own excitement. Truthfully, it always came down to one thing and that was it was a miracle the white-haired girl was so small. She caused enough damage in her fun-sized form, one could only manage the calamity sized disaster that would be upon them if she had any bit of mass to her. Felix already had his hands full with this half-pint, and as always, it was an impressive feat that he managed to stay standing. Mismatched hues brimming with enthusiasm as they stared upon the others making their leaps her fingers almost subconsciously wound tighter around Felix's horns as she urged him forward. She could tell Felix was just as excited as her, moving forward without her own directions. Laughing softly at his words she met his gaze one last time, that playful smirk plastered upon her lips. "Onward my valiant steed! We must deliver them something to truly marvel at!" He had been waiting her her cue, and without any further hesitation, they were bounding forth from the ship, hurling through the air towards the ground. Rather than buckle in, Zylah released his arms, raising her arms up in the air. The only thing keeping her in place as the wind whipped by them was Felix's hands gripping her ankles. White locks riding the wind, rather than looking fearful, the thrill seeker of a girl could hardly contain her laughter as they came hurling towards the ground. There weren't room for thoughts of becoming road kill pancakes with the buzz of adrenaline racing through her veins. While the others had aimed for grace or show, Felix and Zylah were aiming to make an impression. Literally. The impact of his feet colliding with the ground was that of rumbling thunder and more than enough to rattle her skull. No sooner had she shook her white locks back into place was she peering eagerly at the boy beneath. "That was fun! Lets do it again!" Another breathless laugh would escape her lips as her attention was drawn to the pair nearest them. Resting her elbows on Felix's head and resting her chin in her hands she'd watch their back and forth banter with a light smirk tugging the edges of her lips. Sure, they were good, but as Felix had said, they couldn't beat a magic man and his assistant. "Miscreants, thinking they can keep punnin' from the law. We'll show 'em." Sitting back up quickly, she'd raise both of her hands into matching finger guns, granted hers weren't nearly as effective. He'd picked a theme, and she was sticking with it, even if they both looked silly.

“Inspiration is found everywhere you look.
The trick is to capture it and make it something your own."

Vance Merlo
[The Artist]
Team: LMAA

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vance rotated the revolver mechanism on his Creativity's Edge as he thought about the days after the picnic. It appeared that he was going to be staying with YAAZ, which now had become team LMAA, with his last name being put as the second letter into the name. The boy didn't know if this was a temporary thing anymore and had begun to worry about what had happened to the people he was going to be partnered with. He hoped that they were okay and that they would wake up soon, but he was a member of lemonade now, and he need to help with this mission. This was going to be Vance's first mission for Beacon, and he was understandably nervous about the experience. With them going into the cave, he thought that most of the combat would be close up, which meant he would have to step up. The boy had been given one of the packs, another bag to add to the one that held his ink cartridges. He had also opted to bring in the dust ink with him as there were two of them would help them in a worst case scenario. Vance would get up from where he was sitting and sheathed his weapon to his side and made sure he had everything.

He would adjust his two bags to makes sure that they wouldn't effect his movement and took a moment to make sure that everything was there. Because of his battle attire. the boy had a limit of what he could bring with him but that didn't really bothered him. If he was able to capture a special moment on this mission, then it would make this adventure all the more special. Vance would then see that the ship was about to land, and to prepare himself for it, he would grab the hand rail above him to brace himself. This was it, it was time for him to prove himself and to see what his team and the others that were assigned to this mission could do. The bay doors opened after the ship safely landed and came to a complete stop. The boy made his way out and walked out of the airship and down the ramp to see the others that were arriving. He would see people that he saw on that odd day, most of them he captured with his camera. Vance would wait for his teammate before going out further as he wanted to make sure that everyone got to the location safely. He would though have a small on his face as he couldn't really hid the excitement that was growing within him.

The boy was attention was then moved to a familiar face in the form of a sister of fate, by the name of Zylah Atley. His first encounter with his new person was him running away from his teammate was a game of keep away with his camera. Vance didn't really know how it started, but it only came to an end because she still needed rest. However, the craziness didn't ended there as when the team returned one day, it was if a rainbow has crashed into the room and hit the girl directly. Before anything could be said, Zylah had told them to cover their eyes and rushed over to them to show them what she had made. When they were allowed to look, he was she had made and he was stunned at what say. The girl had painted something for Vance, of how the first met, and just from the sight of it, he was filled with so much joy. The team then had to clean up the rainbow that was their room, but if his teammate wanted to paint again, all he asked was that she only painted while he was with her and the promised was sealed with pinkies. Perhaps, it was because of his childish side himself, but the boy did see a friend in Zylah, and he saw it could turn into a powerful friendship.

He could see that his new friend was riding on the shoulders of Felix, a person that had seen his teammate with but they hadn't formally met. Even though it could be seen as a bit rude, Vance did his natural reaction and took a picture of the two of them. It was the first of this reel and it was filled with a bond that he could easily see with even a small glace. The two's confidence made him grin as his camera's eye moved to what looked like a complete team that was ready to go as the boy captured the moment with another picture. He was mostly going to do this until everyone was ready or if he was called over by one of his teammates. After all, this place had a few good nature shots that Vance could see and would work for a few ideas he had. He would then take a picture of the chasm, where on the other side, he could see other groups airships landing. The boy wondered if they would meet somewhere in the caverns, or how far they would be pushed a part. For now, he would continue to gather information the best way he knew how, by taking pictures of anything interesting.

Ora was still feeling guilty. She had lost control of herself in the outskirts, and she had gone after Henryk. The only thing that saved him was the fact that she was slow. When he woke up, she found herself in the hospital. She immediately ripped everything that was attached to her. Heck, she only knew something had gone wrong because she had messaged Henryk, confused as to why they weren't together. She had laid in bed, still caked in blood. It didn't' take too much time for her to heal though. In fact, she was back in classes the next day.

In the past 10 days, she hadn't really done anything. Henryk had been helping her rad, but she wasn't really any better. Maybe she had hit a peak in her reading ability. It didn't hurt to try though. Felix had still been with Zylah. He seemed to not be dependent of Ora anymore, and she wasn't sure how she felt about it. She had always protected her brother, now he didn't seem to need her. He was finally happy. She couldn't help but to smile a bit seeing him with her. A happy Felix was the only thing that she had ever wanted.

When they were lining up for the airship, she noticed Narx. Crap, they were on the same mission, like old times. She didn't want to really want to have a serious talk with so many other people around. She would whip out her phone, and send a message to him. "Hey we are on the same mission. I need you to make sure that you don't ask a bunch a questions when we are around so many people. We can meet up at a later time though." She would take a long time to send that. In fact, he had already boarded the airship by the time that she had sent it.

She didn't make any eye contact with Narx or Felix as they boarded. She remembered her actual mission. Getting Narx back, but what after that? Felix certainly wasn't going to leave with her, not without Zylah. It wasn't time to think about this now. Her armor clanked as they moved. When they got to the drop point, Ora would wait her turn to jump. She would land a bit further back from the group. She didn't want to land on anyone in her heavy armor. The ground cracked under the weight that she brought. She would then walk over to Felix and Zylah. "You two need to be a bit more serious. Jazz isn't here for us to rely on." Their mission was scouting, however, why the hell would you bring the girl who couldn't stealth for any reason? She didn't understand the school at all. She would then clear her throat. "I am Ora D of Team JOLD. If you feel a fiery Aura, then you need to accept the Aura so that I can save you." She hoped that no one would stare at her for speaking up as much as she did.

"I'll make you all proud of me one day.."

Lunia gazed out of the airship, she looked a little distant and almost lost in her own thoughts. Once again, she hadn't really heard from Jazz, her mother wasn't keeping well as usual and her mind was consumed by awful, dark thoughts for some time. Her bright blue Yatomura hair flowed down by her backside, her attire a little different than before. Her face screwed up a little, she began to think of how much she wanted her team to remain together this time. There had been too many changes for her, too many losses. Lunia looked to Vance who was with her, and gently smiled. "We have also gained you Vance, so it's not all bad" she thought to herself, in an attempt to cheer her spirits.

The past few days hadn't been all doom and gloom however, Lunia had been visiting her best friend Zylah in the hospital for weeks while she was stuck in a horrific coma. Her heart raised as Zylah awoke from this, Lunia had missed the girls enthusiasm for everything, she hadn't realize just how lost she had became without her friend. Speaking of which, Lunia hadn't seen her other teammates yet, she assumed Charlotte would be with Zylah. Her eyes were averted to the outside again, before she heard a very familiar voice shouting her name. Lunia was unable to even move her head to the location, before she was taken right off her feet by who she now realized was Zylah.

A huge grin appeared on the blue haired girls face, as she laughed out loud and hugged her best friend back. She was grateful for these moments, they kept her smiling. After a brief moment of embracing Zylah, Lunia joined her in standing up as she watched her go to Felix. "How you feeling Zy? Did you eat that soup I made for you?" A smile remained on her face as she nodded to Felix, "You keeping well Felix?" she said, looking around them all again. Lunia watched as Vance took pictures of the pair, she smiled and tilted her head in wonder. "Do you take pictures for inspiration Vance?" she asked him, wanting to get to know more about her new, permanent, teammate.

Lunia watched as another girl approached, she knew Ora from the mission before and Jazz speaking about her. She would listen to what the faunus girl had to say, and looked to the ground in an attempt to hide her disappointment that her boyfriend, Jazz, wasn't there for any of them right now. Was he even her boyfriend anymore? Lunia had been having a hellish time with her thoughts about Jazz, but she kept them to herself. She swallowed every bad thought down and looked up at Ora again, a sheepish smile appeared as she gestured to both Zylah and Felix. "Hey, at least the two of them keep us laughing and together as teams, right?" she said, attempting to make the situation less serious. Hearing the girl mention her aura and accepting it, Lunia recalled back to the mission and how her body had swapped with her, it made her feel extremely whoozy just to think about.

E x e c u t e _ P r o t o c o l e . . .

Rendevous & Brief

It seemed that the weather called for a storm of students with the approaching aircraft. One by one, students threw caution to the wind as the leaped out of the craft to the uncertain dangers below. It was admirable, for certain. Students so young and full of life were ready or face a world of unknown dangers, something that even many skilled huntsmen had put on the backburner. In fact, it was something that a number of military personnel would even take heed up. Rather than taking this cave into military exploration, they instead opted to let the academy handle it with their able-bodied huntsmen. That was, however, with the exception of a sole robot that began emerging from a rocky outcrop towards a clearing before the mouth of the cave. A machine with a freshly polished reflective sheen so bright that it shouldn't direct traffic, at the risk of blinding the drivers. This machine looked as if it was fresh off the assembly line, representing a piece of technology that looked far too advanced for the society it was presented in. Each limb, as well as the torso and skull were reinforced with white plates of armor for durability. For those who were from Atlas, they may recognize the style being similar to that of an Atlesian Knight. However, in this case, the final product was much smoother with a more realistically human build. It was clearly still a machine, as mechanics within the shoulder and hip joints were visible, but if not for that would look similar to some means of a battle suit. To top it off, it had a crest embedded in its chest to represent the land of Vale itself. Magnetically strapped to its back was a high caliber, semi-automatic rifle. Upon arriving front and center as the students continued to touch down on their landings, the machine would take a straight stance in the center. Metallic digits for fingers would rise to the sleek black visor that represented its face as if to salute the inbound students. Clearly, it had every intention of meeting them here.

"It appears that the academy has sent a variety of colorful but capable individuals for this excursion. I do hope they do not disappoint the minister in performance, for the sake of Beacon's reputation." With that, data collection would begin. While Beacon has proven to be capable in the past, it was this mission that would prove if the military needed to operate in further affairs with the academy.

Narx smiled as he watched his lovely winged girlfriend glide down like an angel. She was so badass he thought to himself before taking the leap himself, but only after the airship had gotten significantly closer to the ground. He landed with a massive thud. The earth cracking beneath the weight of him. His Hammer; The Crawlin clanged as he tossed the huge hulk of metal onto the ground beside him to crack his knuckles. "I think we're in for a treat today!" He said with a glint of unwavering confidence in his voice. He was ever the optimist. "Our team here yet?" Narx asked Danaë as he scanned the huge crowd of people. This was quite an operation. Teachers and nurses and staff of all kinds fluttered between tents in a rush. "I'm not too keen on finding people in crowds." He saw his friends on team DARK, a cool looking sentry robot, and a few other familiar faces, but many more unfamiliar.

A text popped up on his scroll which he flipped out."Ora?!" He said a bit loudly before he replied: 'Fine, we'll talk later... I have a lot more to ask, but we'll keep it on a down low for now.' He clicked send with his tongue popping out of his cheek. Then added: 'Maybe.' to the text with a quick glance over to Ora with a devilish, yet cheesy smile.

Narx couldn't help but feel this was going to be a good mission. He was brutally stabbed and hospitalized on the last. It couldn't get worse right?
"My scroll has some basic instructions. It says we need to deside which teams are in the front and in the back. I guess that's your job Cap!" He said putting a gentle hand on Danaë's shoulder to get her attention. "What do you think?" He wasn't sure how else they would decide that. Especially without knowing some of the teams very well. They ought to just decide and go with it.

Azura Knight
Azura gave a little headshake along with a somewhat amused smile watching first Cecil and then Adam jump off the ship instead of waiting for it to land. Apparently, they started a trend as soon the rest of the class was jumping to the ground, some doing fanciful flips like Adam, while others landing softly. She cast a worried look back at their leader who had been uncharacteristically quiet during the flight. Perhaps they ought to have some sort of intervention, thought Azura. Any time one of them brought up the change in Ridley it was brushed off. Azura, of course, being rather easy to brush off. Now wasn't the time though, with the crowd of people and a mission to prepare for.

Once on the ground, she quickly located Adam and Cecil in the small crowd. Not nearly as crowded as some of their classes, or their first night in the gym, but it was still more than enough people to make her feel uncomfortable. Perhaps it was the many voices speaking at once, excited by the prospect of the mission and just what they might find down in the caves. Her time with Ryker had some positive effects though, for when she reached Adam it Cecil, it was Azura who slipped her had into Cecil instead of the other way around. A first, at least out in public like this. "Making new friends already?" She asked, indicating to Lena dancing next to them. Honestly, she was a bit surprised Adam hadn't joined in with her. It seemed like a very Adam thing to do, but perhaps he was too busy worrying about Ridley as she shouted back up at the airship for her. Azura gave the ship a bit of a worrying glance before returning her focus to Lena. Polite as ever, she stuck out her hand to the huntress in a gas mask dancing away. "I'm Azura Knight of team DARK. This is Cecil and Adam.....and our fearless leader Ridley." She added after Ridley landed next to Adam, fashionably late as always. It seemed the black and gold huntress had jumped right back into covering up that anything was out of the ordinary, joking away, mostly at Adam expense.
