Magnus, Corrupt Mauvian
ACTION: Launching himself at the golden Kosopod and bunny kicking it to try and remove the legs. Cause SHINY!

A lot happened at once, but only one thing really caught the attention of the mauvian who was still patched up on Boraxs’s shoulders. He didn't care that it was a big. Didn't much care that the insect was probably similar in size to himself. Nope. None of that mattered. It was the golden sheen that caught on the weak light of the room. Like to a golden flame, Magnus was the moth who tables that creature with sharpened gaze.

Muscles gathered under him as he crunches on the Captains shoulder. Tail whipping in excitement. Probably again hitting his chauffer in the face, but it didn't matter. Only that shiny, glistening golden bug and just as it pitched towards him…

Magnus sprung off of Borax's shoulder and at the golden Kosopod. Intent was to tackle and wrestle the special little creature to its back and bunny kick the soft underbelly in an attempt to kick off those spindly legs. Could he catch it? What would he do with it if he did? Would it be better to just kill it out right? So many options!!! Clearly it did not belong in the cluster of normal Kosopod that were also milling around, waiting for their own go at a dinner. It was the gem in the rough.

If he'd been less interested in its carapace he may have wondered if the creature was as edible as some of the bugs on earth.

Eternal Corrupt Hestia
roll: 4-1 for 100% success!
currently: cheering on magnus and BODY SLAMMING FILTH

Once Albite appeared and praised her magic, Hestia underwent a very obvious transformation into a fangirl. Eyes full of admiration, the small maid was practically sparkling as the team began to come together and strategize. It only dimmed a little bit when Mister Magnus opted to leave her own, very strong! Very capable! Shoulders for the greater height and comfort of Borax.

He was, indeed, a better piece of cat furniture than herself.

And then a bug the size of a bus erupted and attacked General King Jet! How exciting for him! Turning her head, Hestia gave Helio a significant I you so look. She'd be a little sad, to be honest, if she found out this queen was on the smaller side. there's so many people here, they deserve to fight the biggest and baddest monster possible!

Seeing Magnus find and heroically fight a shiny gold kosopod, she cheered loudly, "Excellent work, Mister Magnus!" Unfortunately, she didn't get a good view of his finishing move, as the maid had rapidly been covered, head to toe, by a cluster of rather aggressive of the creatures.
'
She stayed fairly still for a long, possibly even alarming moment, and then the air was filled with her shout, "HESTIA SLAM!" Throwing herself hard against the floor, Hestia stop-dropped-and-rolled like her entire life was on fire. When the maid stood up, she expressionlessly wiped a little bit of bug guts and shell off her uniform's apron, as if the entire rest of her wasn't covered as well.

"How many was that? A dozen? Two?"

currently: Happy for herself.

Although her heart was pounding in her chest, Ngome knew she had to stay calm and composed. She closed her eyes for a moment, centering herself before opening them again to face the looming threat of the Kosopods.

She took a step forward, her movements slow and deliberate to avoid startling the creatures. She wasn’t sure as of yet what she was going to do.

She looked around the room for something. She reminded herself that she couldn’t really break anything and that Almadel wanted to keep everything intact.

She looked around the room of the museum. She didn’t want to use any of Almadel’s artifacts or anything that looked valuable.

She needed something that wouldn’t cause damage but could still protect her from the Kosopods. Her eyes landed on a long, thin pole leaning against a nearby display case. It seemed sturdy enough without being too dangerous.

Ngome approached the pole slowly, keeping her movements fluid and non-threatening. The Kosopods were getting closer, their skittering becoming louder and more frenzied. She could see their shiny carapaces glinting in the dim light.

As the first Kosopod lunged towards her, she swung the pole with precision, aiming for its underbelly. The impact stunned the creature momentarily, giving Ngome enough time to strike again before it could recover.

She continued to fend off the Kosopods, each strike calculated and efficient. Despite their durability, the creatures were no match for Ngome’s quick reflexes and strategic blows.

She smiled. She was proud of how she managed to navigate the situation without causing any damage to the precious artifacts in the museum.

Lt. Diasporite
Dice: 1 (50'% problems whatever he's doin this next post)
Action: Greetings, salutations, *being suddenly besotted by bugs*! He's not killing anything *yet*.

Narcissus words sounded honey thick to Dia's ears, sweet enough to drown out any sourness that Dia could've mustered, and he didn't know enough to argue. Certainly he didn't care enough to try and poke holes in whatever was mustered up as Almadels defense; feeling young compared to the rest of them, and especially to the whole of a sprawling, timeless universe and all it's goodies shunted into the space of a -- ahm -- A Museum. He held his tongue and hummed some agreeable bit of acquiescence.

"Yes, Sir." and if he whispered the words right back at Rak with equal tease and the batting of thick lashes. Said them like some might 'Papi;' with sarcasm-wrapped reverence and obeisance swathed in the asurity that he wouldn't (not this time), throw himself neck deep into the shitiest end of the creek with only Rak's strong presence as a paddle.

There was no need for him to drag his General into the splash zone -- for any of them to dirty their boots overly much just for a single orders sake, and so Raks words were clearly heard, easily swallowed things. Dia agreed without needing to parrot it, how it was best for him to keep close enough --- that whatever threat the soon-to-be-seen infestation might be? The threat of order was probably greater. No matter how nice they'd all promised to play with each other while encapsulated within the 'Cave of Wonders: Touch nothing but the Kospods' edition. He wasn't about to try his luck and see it run out, not here, not with Almadel clearly distracted by.....

Dia did twist on his heels briefly, to look back at the flanking trio, to watch the brief flash of a scene unfold.

The greenest pair of Velencians he'd ever seen--

The look on Narcissus face ---

On Raks---as the General quickly disentangled himself from what *must* have been allies, for they were still standing, breathing, and also carrying some sort of creature about in a baby sling---

'Dios mio--'

The distant, disturbing screech of a larger sounding than himself creature, reminded him that it was better to very quickly mind his own damn business -- and the business of the startled insects swarming rapidly around his heels. He could always ask for the aliens names later, for details, after. Right now? There were bigger bugs to fry. The nibbling was cute, the tiny vibrations of their ever-hungry mandibles nearly ticklish, even. The little dribblings of acid-like spitup, however? Far less cute, and not even a little bit ticklish. He watched them clump and scuttle over each other, a chitinous swarm that pilled higher and higher---

Never before had Diasporite been so happy for layers in the summer. For the sleek, sparkling metal that made up his less than comfortable heels. His long braid arc'd across his waistline as he made a motion towards the group, a hurried flicker of useful-enough costume jewelry adorning his gloved hands.

"Not to ruin the very precious reunion back there, but things are moving---" the lilt holding a question that lingered in his gaze, light-pink orbs dancing between the bugs, and the rest of the group. Waiting for the barest of nods -- for permission -- before what felt like curious, questing tugs became something sharp enough that he would begin stomping now and asking questions later. The skittery little wretches had all of Almandels warehouse to chew through, he wasn't about to let himself be added to the menu like an afterthought.

Eternal Ida
Roll: 4 - 1 = 3 (100% sucess)
Action: Flustered by Kerberos, blasting some bugs

The squeeze of her hand eased something in Ida that she hadn't known was still clenched tight, as though scared to let go. Every time something changed and prove itself different than those distant memories, the lighter Ida felt. The more she could let go of the fear she had carried for those five years. There were so few people left who really understood, who carried the same memories. Chariklo was like a sudden flash of the past, made flesh.

"I believe he said they'd eat anything..." She said as she squinted into the darkness behind the display, trying to decide if she'd really seen movement there or not. "So I guess they might?"

Glancing up and across the room to check on the other's progress, Ida caught sight of a familiar face looking her way. She had a quick smile for Kerberos, at least until he winked and blew an air kiss at her, causing her face to flame as her eyes widened. Still grinning, this time rather sillily, she ducked her head and cleared her throat, hastily reaching to tuck the dark strands of her hair behind her ears.

"Bugs. Right." They were supposed to be searching for and destroying bugs...

But suddenly everything was happening all at once, loudly, and everywhere. It seemed like the bugs had found them.

As something large and angry started crashing about across the room, the darkness before Ida erupted into bugs, rushing and spitting at her in a swarm of thrashing legs and hard bodies. The eternal let out a yelp as she threw herself backwards, acid splattering her legs. The leather of her boots did well to guard her lower legs, but acid ate quickly through the leggings that covered her thighs, causing her skin to burn as she hissed in pain.

"Look out!" Ida called in warning as she regained her footing and lashed out at the foot long kosopods. She managed to knock them back with a sweeping kick, rolling them over to expose soft bellies. That was enough to spark an idea and Ida swept a hand before her, calling up a trail of glowing petals.

"Beautiful Petal Barrage!" She called as the petals hardened and blasted forward, peppering the bugs with razor sharp needles. They shrieked as the magic pierced them, killing the handful that didn't manage to recover and skitter back into the shadows.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Beautiful Petal Barrage!
[What it does] A thrown hand casts a cloud of orchid petals, which harden into needle-like darts that fly in the direction the petals were first cast. Downside to this attack is its lack of accuracy with a single opponent, and lack of strength against multiple enemies. Its merely a spray of needle-like petals with some velocity behind them. The petals are damaging enough to leave shallow cuts, but leather or multiple layers of fabric may block them, though not without damage. Range is short, about five or six feet. Can be used twice per battle. Twice will exhaust her and she will have to retire from the fight until she's rested.

Irkalla, Cosmos Squire
Action: trying to gently shoo the "curious" kosopods away

Where were these creatures? So far the only signs that there might have been something present was the ever consistent skittering sounds and, of course, the giant cocoon that was over on the wall. Irkalla had made it perfectly clear that she wanted nothing to do with investigating that large construction at all. Even as Almadel's voice floated back to those still in the main chamber of the building did the lights dim once more before settling. In that moment though the sounds of agitation seemed to multiply before the kosopods finally revealed themselves.

It really was pandemonium. Kosopods erupted from every little nook and cranny, swarming over some individuals and some looking like they were too afraid to approach others. Irkalla's gaze went to the floor where she stood to witness a few of the creatures simply milling about. They weren't attacking, yet, which was a blessing but neither did they seem overall scared of her. That could have been a problem in the near future so was it best to try and earn some good will with this small group or simply flat out attack them? Maybe a mixed combination would work wonders? It would have been the ideal solution if one of the more adventuresome kosopod's hadn't decided it wanted to taste the material of her uniform. Yanking gently on the cloth a kosopod chittered at her before spitting acid at the material as if it wanted to make the cloth more digestible for its friends. Sweeping her cord around the squire made a solid hit to the top of the creature before backing up to grab and pull herself up onto the staircase rail. "No more free food for you. Shoo. Go back to where you came from."

Corrupt Eternal Husband Albite of Retribution
Dice: 4 (Rolling to help protect n save Vesuvianite from the stampede, rather than himself.)
Action: Following Fafnirs sound advice and Saddling Ilmari and Vesuvianite with himself; can he wear Vesuvianite over his shoulders like the world's finest pashmina? Thats a solid maybe fam!

Albite left Helio on read, with little more than a 'I swear I'm listening, mother', grin, and giving Ilmari a thumbs up while knowing full well his stars-n-garters secretary would manage all the minding whilst he managed all the muscling of this scenario. His look full of pride for having been lucky enough to get paired up with the bombest blond fulla brains this side of some other place fulla brains! Faffl's voice almost tripped him up, tugged on his stride, he didn't dare interrupt the suggestion, in fact? He mentally third, fourth, fifthed being in agreement with it!

"Course, Ilmari---" offered easy as melted cheese, cause any idea of Fafnir's was as good as staying alive, and an idea of Faffl's that the whole team agreed on? That was a whole entire Alive plus a solid chance at a +1-UP. If only the bugs could've agreed on that--- Waru belatedly wished they would have, just a whole buggy consensus on chilling the ******** out for five more minutes instead of trying to yank Vesuvianite out of Ilmari's grasp n trample the poor guy straight under. It was reflexive as a twitch, the way his magic snarled at the sight of one of his own -- their own -- Ilmari's person; whom he'd clearly wanted to protect! Getting ambushed by a litter of piss-a** pillbugs.

No way was he letting either of his charges go so easily.

"Two-dozen sounds like quitters numbers, Best-ia! I know you can do three!" the words shouted, because what other way was there to communicate over all the racket kicked up by the screech-summoned swarm? While black-velvetine binds leapt from hsi skin to snag gently at Vesuvianite form like a tether flung free for a drowning man. None, honestly, the only choice was to cheer above them! Especially if who he was cheering on was his teams Hestia! Not that he was one for counting, but he knew for damn sure Hestia could clear out more than two of anything!! He'd seen her face off against any number of melted house motes, blazing ash-spiders, youma-necklids all spikey and ceiling clung, nestled deep into the cracked recesses of the only home he'd ever again feel like calling 'home'. But he also wanted to win -- especially against borax -- so whatever number she eventually ended up on? He decided it would be the winning number, no exceptions, no arguing, Hestia was taking on the gold even if he had to very quietly break Borax's ankles at the finish line!

Maybe just the one ankle? Maybe just a nice, friendly, competitive sprain. Nothing that he couldn't get healed quick as a trip to a jiffy-lube!

'Heh, lube.'

The only real shame of it all, in all his multi-tasking mind, was that the annoying little creechy-crawlets weren't even big enough to make a decent meal out of, barely bigger than a rice bowl. Barely bigger than his boot! Or Magnus! Now that he looked-- and wow, okay, maybe the gold one was big? But ********, how the Hell would he'd ever get to taste one when they were all small and yappy like this---

Wouldn't even make a decent trophy on a wall---

Unless?!

'I can do that s**t too, yanno? I can be buggy. I can be the best bug there's ever ********' been---'

If it made sense to no one else? It made sense to him, to dial the insect-invasion up to eleven for reasons labeled 'just because' in his brain. He was gonna show the swarm who the real swarm was! Who the real threat in the room was, and send them skittering back under the floor-tiles they crawled up out of.

Sailor Scout Attack: Binding Retribution! (For Vesuvianite)
Albites tattoos appear to come alive, slithering off his arm like ethereal magical ribbons. The tattoo ribbons wrap around an intended opponents body part and tie the two together for a duration of 15 seconds. Leaving neither able to escape the other until the magic is ended, or the weak ribbons are severed. (Ex. Albite's opponent has a weapon/magical attack, and uses it on said ribbons or Albite is interrupted in casting/cancels the magic early.)
Range: 3 Feet
Duration: 15 seconds
Number of uses: 3
Number of targets: 1

Passive Enhancement: Radons Echo
Radons Echo
When Albite wills it, he is accompanied by the distant and unnerving sounds of a metal tipped skitter-screech. It sounds like an army of rusty blades being improperly unsheathed, the noise married horrifically to the the steady buildup of icepick insect tipped feet careening along a cliff-side. It can be unnerving and unfamiliar, and create a sense of uncertainty and dread. This effect is particularly prominent when Albite is using the Rugose Pendant. An item which has become part of his routine to wear for how often he uses it.

General King Jet
Roll: 3
Action: Powering up to General King. Speaking to all Negaverse agents with the communicator.

When Andesine and Akaganeite suggested they would inspect one of the side rooms, Jet nodded in agreement and encouragement. Good. As long as they were working together and had each other’s backs, he was certain they’d be able to take care of whatever problem they could find.

If they weren’t in the middle of a potentially dangerous mission in the middle of space, Jet might have taken longer to appreciate how serene Aquamarine looked when he was in awe of everything around him. Jet didn’t particularly care about physical art, but he supported Aquamarine’s appreciation.

Well… he assumed it was appreciation. Aquamarine looked like he was trying very hard to understand how certain pieces of art actually worked, or maybe what kind of technique was used, or what exactly he was looking at. But it was still cute, regardless.

Unfortunately, he didn’t have too much time to really think about how they should definitely request some of the art from Almadel in return for their services, if only to let Aquamarine have it. The lights had flickered, the scurrying had stopped -- but then it sounded like they were being swarmed from all sides.

Jet noticed a little too late how close he was to a particularly large Kosopod. And while Jet always enjoyed when the Queen gave him attention, he didn’t want this queen’s attention.

The shriek it emitted was loud enough that he hissed and had to cover his ear with his free hand. He barely had time to jump out of the way, although he felt one of the Queen’s many legs, or maybe teeth, snag onto his jacket, ripping a hole into the sleeve.

He teleported to wrap his arm around Aqumarine’s waist, and then teleported them both to the balcony overlooking the storage room below.

And soon after hissed from pain when the acid from the creature was quickly eating away at the fabric that it tore. It was fine, he just needed to remove the jacket.

The fastest way to do that was to tap into his full power as a General King. He hadn’t wanted to power up, but he knew he would be doing the others a disservice if he didn’t use the power he had and others ended up hurt or worse in the process.

After releasing Aquamarine, he called his communicator to his free hand, his glaive gripped tightly in the other.

“All agents, this is General King Jet. As previously instructed by Her Majesty, focus your efforts on destroying the Kosopods. Try to preserve the museum artifacts for our host. Generals and Eternals -- keep an eye on any agents of lower ranks around you, as well as any Vanguard and Dark Mirror Senshi in need of assistance. I have faith in all of us to succeed, even with the hindrance of enemies around us. Let’s finish this mission and get home with zero casualties.”

There was more to it than just preserving the museum artifacts. More to it than just assisting those with minimal alliance.

If the Negaverse succeeded in helping Almadel, they would be able to ask whatever they want of him, and put him in the position of owing the Queen a favor. And if Almadel flaked on his agreements, they would just kill him.

And with all that being said, he gave Aquamarine a small nod, and leapt after the Queen Kosopod to try and strike at with his weapon. He knew their shells were hard, but would it be able to withstand his glaive?

Captain Borax
Die Roll: 2
Action: Flummoxed by Hestia, stumbling back for a moment after Magnus used him as a springboard, resolving to kill a bunch of innocuous curious kosopods

There was a part of him that bristled at having another one of theirs come up with the plan of attack from there--pair off, stay in earshot--but he had to keep it to himself as he was still trapped in the clothing of someone who was not yet powerful enough to pull his own rank. Borax didn't necessarily wish to clarify that, so instead he just gave a terse nod of agreement and shifted his attention elsewhere, for the moment.

And it was wise to do so, considering he now had a cat on his shoulder.

"Magnus," offered Borax, clipped and in the barest form of friendly, though he was slightly betrayed by the way his fingers ghosted over Magnus' head to scratch him behind the ears.

Only slightly, though, considering his expression would occasionally tick back to flat whenever Magnus would smack him with his tail--

And then, all at once, Magnus--clearly with his particular height assist--spotted something golden and shiny that Borax caught a glimpse of before Magnus' a** wriggled and he launched at it. It was enough to take Borax by surprise and send him backward toward the small group of kosopods that he had gathered, followed up with a "Cat!!" of irritation. There was a part of him that had some other ******** choice words for him, but Hestia was beside him trying to do ******** wrestling moves--of course she was, this was still Ms. Emily Moffat underneath the cracks in her starseed--and shouting about taking out dozens of kosopods at once.

On one hand, he could have left the ******** alone. Arguably, part of him wanted to. He could see from a distance those ******** were spitting at some people and he had no interest in dirtying his uniform, even if he could clean it in seconds.

On the other hand, one of them had hissed at him when he stumbled backward, and that was enough of an offense.

"You really think your Kamehameha s**t took out that many!" shouted Borax back, using his spear to reach out, flip a few of them over with the flat side of the blade, and then run them through the underbelly. "I don't think wrestling charges up like a ******** anime!" He swung his spear around, swinging his body around as he recovered his balance to repeat the same action.

Over, and over, and over again--

Fine. He didn't give two shits about helping Almadel out, or really clearing out this museum. Space was dead and it should stay that way. But if he wasn't going to be able to spend the time observing his powered fellows as intended, the least he could do was make sure his ******** recruit didn't get this one over him.

He jumped to the side to attempt to dodge some acidic spit.

Eternal Chariklo
[b[Roll: 4 (no modifiers) - 150% Success
Action: Going ham on some bugs, considering teasing Ida

Grimacing as Ida reminded her that yes, they could be food, Chariklo continued her hunt, half listening to everyone around her. She was trying very hard to not think about all the awful things regular isopods regularly did and failing. These were space isopods! She'd seen enough horror movies to know things like this were Bad.

Nature was honestly pretty horrifying.

Glancing up, she caught sight of Ida blushing and smiling and whipped her head around, hoping to figure out who or what had gotten that reaction out of her friend. Unfortunately, she couldn't tell and for a moment considered teasing the other senshi. But... no. This wasn't the time or place.

Especially as things quickly became a mess when the kosopods chose to make themselves known. As she froze and watched a huge one bear down on people, she could see other, smaller ones swarming out to attack. Saw Ida burned by their acid... But then also saw her dispatch of a few.

"Soft bellies, right," she muttered, eyeing the cluster of bugs circling her, but not attacking. In fact, one of the damn things seemed to be trying to mouth her boot. Which, had it been a small, fuzzy and warm puppy or kitten, hell, even a snake, Chariklo would have found it adorable. However, it was a foot long bug thing that could spit acid whose friends seemed to be doing their best to attack and eat her friends. Sure, they were just animals doing animal things, but they couldn't and shouldn't be doing them here.

Lashing out with her foot and hissing as it triggered acid spitting aimed at her legs, Chariklo moved quickly, kicking bugs through the air and seemingly stunning them. Even as she kicked, she called up her magic. There were plenty of soft underbellies to aim for, after all.

"Mobbing Cacophony!"

Grinning, she watched as her magic slashed it's way through the bugs that had been menacing her. Sure, she had acid burns that hurt like ********, but she'd live.

Hopefully.

Quote:
Eternal Sailor Attack: Mobbing Cacophany
Effects - Sailor Chariklo emits a harsh, squawking call that seems to come from more than one throat and it feels as through a small swarm of wings are attacking. In addition to the swarm of buffeting wings, the target will now also feel as if they are being slashed and pecked at with beaks and talons. Able to perform twice per battle and can encompass up to 5 people over a 20ft radius. The target will be able to see the shimmering outline of a wing or beak or taloned foot, but never a full shape. And for the duration of her magic, the target will feel the sensations of bruising and deep, slashing wounds, again all aimed around the shoulders and head area. When the magic ends, the damage will disappear unless the player wants to take on lasting damage. At the player’s discretion, rather than just the sensation of damage, they can sustain actual damage from her magic. Attack duration is 45. And should the target escape that 20' radius, the attack will follow them for about 10 seconds.

Eternal Sailor Oberon of Adventure
Roll: 1
Action: Deciding he wants to save the Kosopods. Hoping Perdita indulges him.

Oberon was grateful for Perdita’s flashlight and agreed that he could comfortably explore the place for days. He wasn’t sure if Oort saw them, but they were still trying to make their way over to him. And Oberon felt himself bristle when some corrupted Senshi (Ilmare) approached Oort.

Maybe Oort knew her, but he didn’t. And he didn’t want any creepy corrupt Senshi harassing his friend.

“Hey!” he tried calling over to them, irritation and protectiveness in his voice. But he didn’t have much of a chance to really do anything about it when they were suddenly being swarmed by the Kosopods.

He nearly tripped over one of them, but --

Damn… they were kind of cute. He knew they were likely an invasive species, but did they have to kill them? He didn’t even like dusting youma.

Okay, well, it wasn’t cute that their saliva seemed to be dissolving things, but that wasn’t their fault. It was a biological means to help them survive. They, the humans and humanoid aliens, were the ones with weapons and magic that could hurt them.

He could hear the Queen Kosopod shrieking, probably angry and frightened, and he could see others fighting and killing the little alien creatures.

He looked up at Perdita with uncertainty and thinly veiled hope that she would understand as he crouched down to hold his gloved hand out to the curious Kosopods, letting them see that he wouldn’t hurt them. Even if there were a lot around them. He couldn’t bring himself to cause them harm.

Nis Squire
Roll: 3 -1 = 2 (75% success)
Action: Doing her best to not get eaten by angry bugs

She should have known that something was going to go tits up. It was only a matter of time, really. But she hadn't expected an explosion of kosopods nor the appearance of a very large and very angry Queen. At least, she assumed it was a Queen given how the smaller ones were utterly wild the moment the giant one shrieked. Slamming her hands over her ears instinctively, Nis found herself wishing that her weapon and her magics were more impressive.

When a small swarm of very angry kosopods came at her, spitting acid and doing their best to overwhelm her, she found herself wishing that Cosmos wasn't quite so peaceful a patron.

Yelling in pain as acid splashed her legs, she stuck out with her stick, knocking bugs away before they could climb too far up her. She managed a lucky hit on one or two and got the underside where they were soft and apparently quite squishy. Still two out of what seemed like hundreds was not great odds.

Corrupt Ilmare
Roll: 1 (50% Success)
Action: OH GOD MAKE THE BUGS GO AWAAAAAAAAAAY -sobbing-
"Hey!"

Bristling, Ilmare paused in her nosing about and let out a very loud huff of a sigh. She knew that tone. The automatic assumption that she was Up to No Good. She caught the eye of the senshi who'd shouted and glared right back.

"Oh my god, I'm not going to do anything, okay? The alien guy told us to cooperate. I am cooperating."

She would have said more. Wanted to say more. Only a loud shriek filled the her ears and the room seemed to come alive with angry bugs. She just barely missed being in the path of what she could only assume was the queen of the hive. Dodging one kosopod, she quickly found herself surrounded by a group who seemed particularly riled. And they were fast little ********.

As they swarmed her, she could feel tiny, awful feet trying to climb her legs. Some spat at her and she hissed in pain as the acidic spit landed on bare skin. She could feel at least one hanging from her skirt, chewing at the fabric. She didn't want to risk using her magic against these things. She had no idea how their minds worked. It simply wasn't worth the chance of making things o much worse.

Kicking and stomping to get free, Ilmare grabbed one kosopod from the pack and threw it as hard as possible. She saw it splat against one of Almadel's artifacts underside first. When it slid to the ground and didn't move again, she gave herself a mental pat for having gotten rid of at least one.

It was just too bad that there were still so many more left and she was starting to feel overwhelmed.

Coco, White moon guardian cat, Human form, X

Action: Trying not to get trampled

Coco was trying to not get knocked over by the stream of bugs that was suddenly going through the room after the queen had burst through the wall. She wasn't doing well at all, she was knocked to the ground and struggled to keep from getting trampled by all the bugs this really sucked at lot. She really couldn't do anything else other that avoiding getting hurt badly as she did her best to move out of the way of the insects. She felt like she was in some sort of sci fi horror movie at the moment. She really needed to get some high ground.

Lacaille super senshi of books, X

Action: Attempting to dodge bugs

Lacaille was listening to senshi talking about the creatures they were dealing with, with discomfort and fear and she didn't blame her. Then all of the sudden the queen was breaking through the wall and Lacaille was trying to dodge bugs that were trying to bite at her legs she wasn't doing a very good job at it. They didn't seem to be really trying to hurt her but this was not a good start for her in this battle and she was at a bit of a loss since her magic was about reading so she didn't think that would help here.
