Meridiana watched in horror-filled shock as several remaining youma writhed from some unknown pain. Yes, there had been magic and weapons flying about but something else, something other, was causing many discomforts.
The youma that had grabbed hold of her leg, the one she'd screamed at which caused it to recoil and move to attack another corrupt now sat on the ground not far from where it had left her. Tattered and torn, beaten until he could no longer stand, the plant form shifted and stuttered until all that was left was an officer. Hand pressed to his injured shoulder, blood and dirt smeared across his face, uniform torn from claws and teeth or rocks below.
"Captain..." her lips moved but not a word was spoken. She knew not his name, only rank. But vivid purple hair and soft green eyes partially hidden behind heavy lids were familiar features she'd recognize without a second thought.
He was alive.
The officer that had saved her life had by some miracle made it out of the caves. Meridiana wasn't sure where the surge in energy came from but without heistation she scrambled to her feet, leg screaming in agnozing protest, and rushed to his side.
Youma were not to be trusted, they hated senshi like her, like the one with long black hair beside them. However, a quick glance around revealed that other members of this mission were using the monsters as means of escape.
"Help me get him up?" Blue gem-like eyes looked up at the other corrupted imploringly. The Captian might look worse for wear, more suited as a second sacrifice like the one who had his Starseed thrown over the edge of the cliff, but she wasn't willing to leave him behind; he could still be saved.
Meridiana owed him a life debt, something that couldn't be repaid if they didn't get him out of here now.

Their target slowed, then stopped, finally out of energy for pursuing its attackers. While the thing looked hale still, it showed considerable surface damage from its attackers — myriad gouges and slashes, burn marks, its eyes still fluttered shut from Kamacite's brilliant flashes, Fulgurite's attack left it damp around the legs, still dazed and confused from Valeria, and Meridiana's ability helped to cripple its energy stores. It was missing a leg, it had been pelted with rocks, and it had been betrayed by other youma. As it watched through fleeting squints as its adversaries left, the creature executed a slow about-face and began its irksome descent back into the Rift's depths. It hissed and screeched as if swearing that it would never cross paths with another Negaverse entity.
The remaining, roiling youma were left to attack the fleeing agents and senshi unhindered, though they could not go beyond the edge of a cliff but for a few. But even these creatures seemed to think it wasn't worth the potential harm to fight for another starseed, and only hovered at the edges of the latticed paths. These ones honked and screamed at the youma that carried their dinners away.
The youma that assisted did so diligently, though the ones carrying corrupted senshi grew more and more agitated until soothed by their agent riders. Those that stuck close to their commanding Captains or Generals could be hushed more easily. Compared with what they endured over the weekend, the descent was pleasantly uneventful; no agents fell, no youma turned on their riders, and no ambushes came from the eerie, quiet holes in the cliff face.
By the time they reached the bottom, they heard a distant boom, then a lengthy clatter. Anyone looking back would see that the cliff face had finally fallen, taking with it a portion of the latticed paths. Those disintegrated until a gaping hole was left in the pathways.
Those who collected scales would find that, thankfully, their bounty still shimmered. Evidently the rock fall hadn't taken their target with it. Perhaps some of the youma that ambushed them from the caves or from Xenia's starseed pull had been dusted.
The youma let them off at the edge of the Scar, and by then, any youmafied agents or senshi had returned to normal. Everyone had their own skin back. Only a single, solemn order was given to begin the trek back to the Citadel. Their pack youma had both rejoined them then, having followed the craggy path out of the Scar, and dutifully brought up the rear. They would double as transportation for any injured, provided they could survive the journey.
In all, the Negaverse found 62 scales — a considerable haul for their General-King.

It wasn't like he tried to be cold, though to be fair he did like the cold which followed him about. He figured it was enough reason for most people to avoid him and keep away, and he was just fine with that. What he didn't expect was it to be reason enough for a youma to lash out at him, though did they really need a reason other than what uniform he wore? Knocked over by the damn youma, and covered in something purple, he was tempted to get nice and close and freeze them further - stupid plant.
Maybe he'd get the ability to throw ice at peopple when he hit eternal, it would be useful, then he could certainly deal with things from a distance and freeze them. Either way he needed to get out of here and now was better than later, that was for damn sure.
Watching as the youma changed back he nodded his head, moving towards the youma they would need to take in order to get out of here. "I do hope this thing we're riding out doesn't decide to make a meal of me." He stated even as he prepared himself for the trip out of the rift, getting comfortable on a youma was not such a good idea really. He was cautious of moving about, not wanting to annoy the youma, but he did not need to feel every bumb and movement either.
"So, do tell. What was it like being a youma?" Asking the one who had spent a time being a youma and now wasn't, as they made their way out of this hell.

Valeria HP: 52/75 Damage: Fleeing.
As he skin turned less metalic and the scales seemed to absorb back into her skin, where they'd come from, Valeria was left with nice dark skin and smoothe long legs. The change came as simply, and easily, as it had when she'd turned into a youma. How it had happened she still didn't know but she was not pleased with it. A few wobbly steps were taken while she took the time to adjust to not having a tail.
While she did that the super corrupt sought out a rather speific General who she feltg could help get her out of here. The rides were arriving and they were, once again youma, and getting on one by herself would not be safe. So as soon as she spotted the General she took off towards him and grabbed onto his arm. "Come on, lets get out of ehre. I can't on my own." And she was sure he knew that and would help her - he had to.
Laven eyed both youma warily unsure if she wanted to put her trust in a beast that moments before may have mutilated an officer in a fit of frenzy over the starseeds that were being waved about.
However, the immediate danger and need to make haste ultimately forced her hand as she grabbed a fistful of the horse-like beast's long mane and pulled herself onto it's back. It shifted sideways under her weight causing her to almost slip off before she had a chance to swing her leg over to the other side. But it steadied itself and she held on fast.
Fingers tangled in the long fur along it's spine, her eyes squeezed shut not wanting to face the impending doom of a miss step and inevitable fall. She could hear the loose rocks shift and grind beneath its hooves and she cringed just thinking about how much it would hurt as they plummeted to their doom.
The youma must have sensed her anxiety and chose from them a more level path instead of something so steep. Lavendulan was thankful for it but could not find it in herself to fully relax. Face pressed against a scaled shoulder all she could do was hope and pray that Lopezite and the Corrupt he was with were there when they made it to the gate.

General Benitoite Escaping. idk off the top of my head.
As people started to move towards the idea of escaping, a choice he couldn't garee more on, the ashen blond general kept close to the lieutenant. There was no reason to seperate fro mthe blonds side, it would be a risk to the poor blond, and he wasn't about to let him be on his own here. The Lieutenant had already helped him once and he wasn't about to let harm come to him, that was his job as a General. Nodding at the others words, the assurance of no more spider youma, and moved to follow at the Lieutenants side, spear firmly in his grasp once again.
"Good, I don't think I need any more of them today." Or ever. He did not like spiders and it was now known to some. He really did hope no one brought it up or used it against him in some fashion, as he was sure some people might do. It wasn't something he could help and it had been years since the fear had taken hold, he doubted it was going anywhere any time soon. "A different youma to leave would be good." It would make their travel easier and quicker no doubt. He just hoped those youma wouldn't try and turn on them, though he was certain he could control many youma he wasn't sure about that right now. Not with the starseed and swarm around them.
Approaching the Captain, Bloodstone, he nodded his head once to the other. "You're Lieutenant is a rather loyal sort - a good Lieutenant to have." Loyal enough to keep by his side and help him through a panic attack. Not everyone would do that, especially for someone wh owas higher in rank and should not be having such an issue. Taking the offered hand then he let the other help him climb onto the mounts back. "Help isn't a bad thing. I do lack a bit in tghe height department, and we need to be getting out of here as soon as possible."

Lieutenant Eveite Escaping exit post
Finally it appeared that some had regained their senses and they were now fleeing. Eveite took the opportunity to catch a ride of her own on one of the more agreeable Youma. She didn't even care what it looked like, she was ready to get the hell out of this hellhole.
It seemed to take forever, but finally they were at the edge of the Scar once again. And as Eveite was let off of the Youma she had hitched a ride with, she took one glance back at the place that they had stayed in for 2 days. "Good riddance." She said with anger in her breath. She was done. She was going to stay in her basement for the next few days and call off of work. THEN she was going to demand seeing some sort of Nega psychiatrist or something so that she hopefully wouldn't have any mental scarring from these horrible events.
She was a Lieutenant! She shouldn't have been doing this, even if it had been voluntary. She vowed to do nothing like this again until she was at least a Captain, and maybe even a General herself!
Arseno wasn't sure what had happened. All he remembered was that he had told Ödön to leave and after that... nothing. By the time he came to, he had found himself on a Youma being hauled up to the edge of the Scar. It wasn't graceful however. He fell on his side as the Youma bumped him off, not wanting to carry the General any longer. He grunted but didn't care anymore. He was out of there, and if possible he was going to try to find some time to relax to get over this whole thing. Sure, he had met others, but he just wanted to forget about being an Agent for a while. At least for a few days. If they needed him back he would go, but for now he just wanted to get back to Stacey and take a very long nap.

I lowered the requirements for receiving the permanent accessory to: character must have posted in every round of part 3 (this thread). Placeholders will not be counted.
Rugose Pendant - A blackened, wrinkled rock set into a silver pendant with an indigo glow trapped inside. It can be found discarded in Negaspace or the Rift. To use the item, an agent or Negaverse senshi must energy drain the rock. Once drained, the rock will crack and disintegrate. The rock's violet light will then envelop the user, cloaking them in the appearance of a youma. A youma aura will overwhelm the user's natural aura, though it will not disguise their aura. Their youma appearance must adhere to youma guidelines for personal or player youma. The user does not gain any special abilities while under the effects of the item, and their current abilities are not typically hampered by the item. The Rugose Pendant's effects last until the character powers down or until 3 hours have passed, whichever is sooner. The Pendant may be used once a day.
