Eternal Myrrha Was it time to call it quits? This creature just did not want to be caught it seemed. Myrrha wrinkled her nose before finding a new path to travel down. She'd give the hunt a little bit more of her time before she called it quits. Now if the jackalope had been hidden treasure she would have been more engaged. But trying to hunt something that always moved about was a lot trickier.

Squire IrkallaThis was getting ridiculous. How could one animal elude so many people trying to catch it? Irkalla moved away from the cage to lean against a tree to watch the clearing. There was still a chance that her reasoning was sound.

Dumuzi, Page of PlutoOkay, so not in the trees. Not easily visible on the ground either. He saw other jackalopes, but they weren't the right ones, even though all he wanted to do was snatch one, rip off a part of his outfit, dress a jackalope with it, and present it to the princess. Could he get away with that? A victory was a victory, right? So many cheap mofos cheated their way to victory anyway, look at that NFL drama from the aughts... No, no, don't do that--

Transcendent Eternal AnserAt this point, Anser was running out of ideas. Could the princess give her any tips? This was her planet, maybe she was better at hunting down these small things... Better than her, anyway. Hmm. No, no, Anser was not the type to accept loss! She would pull herself off the tree and keep looking! There clearly were jackalopes around here, where was that one? Why was this specific one so elusive?

Transcendent Eternal EnckeEncke's attempts weren't getting anywhere, but he did see someone else familiar and almost as glowing as him pushing off a tree and starting her own wander through the bushes. He chuckled. Well, considering this was an event held by Cybele, he wasn't sure he should have expected anything else. "Oh, hey sis." "Hey!" offered Anser in turn, but she sounded just as distracted as he had been. Encke's lips lifted in amusement. "Assume you haven't found it either?" "Nah. You have any luck?" "Already seen it three times. Just haven't been able to approach it." "On god?" "On god." "Well, ********," Anser laughed. "Can you help me out?"

Beira, Super Senshi of Loneliness
“I’ll do my best,” Beira assured, and even though she’d missed it he managed to keep tail it. It was fast, and there were a few seconds where it disappeared from sight, but he managed to find it again before it could get too far away.
“You know, I’m not sure how people made a sport of this in the past,” he mused.
“There must be some secret to it that I haven’t yet unlocked. The more time I spend following it, the more I keep thinking that a nice little nap sounds pretty appealing. This sun is nice. Have you been to many worlds beyond Earth?”

Intrusive thought; hunting people was a lot easier.
....okay wow where did that come from.....
Hierapolis would be sure to forget about that random little thought until it popped up again at a later date.

IllyriaIllyria's gaze had been narrowing on the path that Beira had been walking down when she too caught sight of a purple flash of ribbon before she tensed in the senshi's arms. Spotting the creature Illyria indicated the direction with a paw before she listened to Beira's words. Her wide, violet, eyes blinked slowly as she considered how to reply. When she figured out what she was going to say, the Mauvian sighed, "It's entirely possible that we're missing something in regards to the hunt."
As the jackalope scampered off again Illyria had remembered the last part of Beira's words before she nodded.
"I've been to a couple worlds, not many, but a couple. One involuntary, one voluntary. And you are right, this place is too nice to not nap if we wanted to give up. I enjoyed it earlier."
And she had enjoyed her little snooze. It had been a peaceful environment to nap in. The only difference between here and Ida was that it seemed on Ida, there was even more of a relaxing aura to the world.(( Illyria's seen the jackalope ))

Eternal Myrrha Picking the dead blossom off a bush that she had just passed Myrrha studied the bloom before looking over the rest of the blossoms around her before she sighed. She'd traverse the woods one more time before calling it quits. There were other things that she could be doing.
"Here bunny, bunny, bunny," she muttered to herself.

Squire IrkallaOh, oh, oh. Her gaze narrowed on the clearing as the jackalope entered. Irkalla dared not to even breath lest the creature get scared off. Her gaze memorized the creature's appearance even as it snuffled around the cage it had been resting in before the hunt had started and Irkalla began to edge closer to the cage in a hope of trapping the creature within the cage. The squire was glad for her slippers being made of a soft material as she neared the cage. All of a sudden though a twig snapped underneath her foot and the creature, going on full alert, began to scamper off. Irkalla made a lunge for it as it dashed off, falling just short of managing to get a handle on the jackalope. As the creature ran off Irkalla rose from the dusty ground before dusting off her uniform. Damn, that had been close. Her doubt about her intuition vanished and once more she returned leaning against a tree. This time she chose a tree closer to the cage so that if the creature returned, it'd take less time to spring the door closed. (( Irkalla spotted the Jackalope - ... so close ))

Reims, Page of GanymedeReims had a little smile on his face as Dering patted his hair that looked a little like he’d been wearing a hat, but Reims wore baseball hats all the time and his hair looked so much worse than Dering’s could ever.
The little smile brightened for a few moments, and he was about to comment on inviting him there, but it faded just a little as Dering described his foggy Wonder and how it played tricks on him.
“I would really like to,” he accepted, although he took a moment to pause and wait before answering. He wanted Dering to know he was thinking about his answer and not just rushing into things. Even though he was very pleased that Dering thought of him as a friend.
At least for now. Maybe things would change once he found out who he was and how he’d been mean to him and their friends, but for now he would take what he could get.
“Reims is a cathedral of some kind. Lots of stained glass. Most of it is broken, though. It should be warm, at least. Nothing like the Moon, though,” he made a small grimace, because the three Wonders he’d seen on the Moon were lovely. His was kind of dreary and it sounded like Dering’s was as well.
Ah, he’d almost forgotten about the jackalope. Unfortunately, it must have already run off before Reims could turn to where Dering was gesturing.

Connie, Squire of ChronosConnie was thrilled to be standing there with two people she really, really liked. Perdita was sweet and wasn’t too boisterous and knew what to do in rough situations. And Belmont was so patient and always knew what to do with bugs and crazy things that happened.
But she’d been momentarily distracted by just smiling at the two of them, and when she realized she hadn’t said anything in a while, her cheeks flushed.
Chronos? What was -- oh! It was supposed to be her Wonder’s origin or… something like that.
“Oh! Um. I’ve only been there briefly,” she mumbled sheepishly. “Being in space all by myself is kind of scary. I needed to find my ring though, so I could talk to people,” she explained and held up her hand with the shining signet ring on her finger.
“I’m not really sure what it is either. I’ve met one other, but he was in the Negaverse first. Oh, but… I haven’t seen him in a while.”
She was always worried when she couldn’t get in contact with someone for long periods of time. But maybe he was just busy or got away from the city to somewhere safe.
“You’re welcome to come if you want! I wouldn’t really know what to do with it, though.”

Super Sailor SurturSurtur allowed Ymir to take his hand to lead him forward through the forest. They may not be having any luck with the jackalope, but Surtur was enjoying himself either way.
“You are very wise and considerate,” Surtur observed quietly as he followed Ymir. “While I do not believe anyone will harm the creature on purpose, it is easy to lose oneself to the excitement of a competition.”
Maybe that was why he was so calm about everything. He wasn’t competitive over something like this. He would leave those with more enthusiasm to run around.
“It would be best if we were to find it first, then,” he nodded in agreement. He would help Ymir catch the jackalope if he could manage.

Sailor Chibi EuphemeEupheme wasn’t going to give up the opportunity to hug her mom when she had the chance. She jumped up to wrap her arms around her and gave her a tight hug.
Being a Senshi was… sometimes pretty scary. There were monsters and bad people trying to hurt those she loved and innocent people who had no part in a magical war.
But knowing she would have her family’s support, even if it was from a safe distance, was better than she knew a lot of others had. There were probably so many out there who knew no one else, and she’d been lucky to have a huge family of Knights and Senshi.
“I bet the jackalope would come out if people all just sat down and waited for it,” she suggested with a light hearted snicker, clearly in a good mood despite still looking for the jackalope.
