Kaz knew he was late, yet he wanted to beleive that he could still make it on time. You skip out on the one meeting of your life and they decide to pick that day to invade! He thought, looking at the room with noone there. This was strange for him- he was usually the first one there- and yet they are not there, but he knew the reason why. The man looked through some folders scattered about and finally got the rough idea on where. "A little warning would have been nice!" He sighed under his breath, trying to keep it as low as possible in case someone had bugs planted in the room, they were all paranoid that way. The boy clenched his hand, lifting his head only to look at the celling lights. It was again that time when they thought of killing shinigami and wreaking havoc, honestly now, what all this mindless bloodshed cause? Waving a hand, he summons the familiar rip in the dimensional fabric separating the worlds, revealing a tunnel of whirling, torrential energy. Stepping through, a similar rip opens on the battle field, a small boy weilding a katana stepping out and looking at the destruction.

The boy wanted to groan- he wanted to yell at everyone to stop fighting, but he knew it had to end like this. Though, it was a short lived moment, for as soon as he heard a cry of pain he was back into reality, surrounded, like he always was; time to fight or die. "I hope you find peace in the afterlife....." He sighed, twirling his sword faster and faster, flames appearing periodically until his whole sword was on fire. "Las llamas del Purgatorio.." It was there that he unleashed his attack, purposely using it in the hallway like corridor where two walls prevented the fire from going anywhere but straight. He didn't stick around for their cries to reach his ears, he always hated when it did, instead he stood atop a building glances around, scanning the area for the most dangerous threats. There was a terrifying prescence coming from a man....man? He had to take a second scan as what he felt was a shinigami was actually feeling that more inclined towards hollows, until he remembered one of the biggest cautions on the folders; to stay away from one Hei during the battle. Deciding it was better to avoid this man, he insteads goes in the oppisite area, until reaching what appeared to be a division barracks, yet it was relatively quiet; something was amiss. Looking around, he finds people......frozen, a expression of fear on their faces.

He had heard about this too, Zenos-sama had gotten a lieutenant bitten, which meant Sebastian-kun was somewhere around. Just as he was about to go look for him, an angry woman ringed in his ears, seems she had connections with the newest minion. Scampering down the roof he was on, he eventually makes it down to where what was Kyo and Elisa. It seemed pretty unfiar, two on one, so Kazuma casually walked in as the woman began ensnaring him. "Ah, hello, we still need him running around for now, so you could you please let him go?" With a rather quiet sonido, he reappears in front of the woman he was currently conversing with, a raised hand to knock her out, but stopped as he caught her outfit. With a raised brow, he realizes from the style from what's left of her dress that this was a wedding day, and that she was a bride. "I sincerely hope you and your other a happy future, if you make it past this day." Using another sonido to back away, he makes sure he was a good distance from Elisa before turning to face her, his small katana in hand.

It must be a strange sight for her. A small boy speaking as though he was an old man. He was garbed in a white jacket of his own design, with white pants and boots to match. He hid his Sephira reiatsu almost all the time, so there was no real way without looking for his hole to know he was a arrancar; specifically a Sephira, unless he said so. His amber eyes were focused on Elisa as he looks at the situation. Currently, the vampire will be trapped by the woman's plant. Whether or not that the other man strikes him while he is ensnared is what he came to see and prevent, Sebastian wouldn't like it if he died so early in this. "Ah, I am Kazuma, the Binah Sephira and your enemy, please hold nothing back."

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxLoneliness hit me suddenly,
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxbut it’s only t h e n that I realized,
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxafter all that I have ever DREAMED of,
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI really don’t like F I G H T I N G

Suzume blinked, utterly surprised by the fact that her enemies, or at least, what would have been her enemies, vanished into thin air. Her accusing gaze landed on Nanashi, who ironically just appeared again, confirming what she had thought. Fantastic. It looked as if she had merely beaten several of the smaller pawns, while he had managed to get rid of quite a number of the more powerful ones. Biting back any harsh words that were threatening to burst out of her, she controlled herself and nodded at him, letting a faint smile appear on her face for the briefest second. It didn’t matter to her whether he saw it or not, as they were currently in the middle of a battle, and for him to divert his attention for her, was asking a little bit much. Tilting her head to one side, she also faintly smiled at Sora, before departing as she looked for others to fight. Right now, she didn’t have much of a choice, since there were only a few enemies now, albeit powerful ones. As she hurried along, she caught a glimpse of the massive column of fire and Nu’s arm and leg being caught in it. She winced. That was going to be a painful thing, most likely needing to be healed.

Something like that would be a little hard and energy-draining for the other healers, who were currently working on the other servants and people present that had been injured in the first major attack from Zenos. Remembering that her sister had gone off somewhere, most likely to fight, she shunpo’ed off in that direction, muttering to herself, “Wonder what she’s up to now…” She emerged a short distance from her sister, her eyes wide with shock as she noticed Kyo’s vampire form. Oh. That made a lot more sense now. It seemed like he had changed and Eli was dealing with him at the moment, along with another enemy? She examined the other unfamiliar face, taken aback by the fact that he looked so young. Then again, youthfulness was something that enemies used to have their opponents underestimate them and it was something she was familiar with. Hardening her face, she strode several steps next to her sister, leaning in and whispering, “Naohito-Taichō’s most likely been injured, she’ll need your assistance. I’ll take care of this, but come back as soon as possible, alright?” Not bothering to check whether her sister listened to her as she was pretty certain that Eli would want to help her friend, she turned to face the young Sephira – Kazuma, was it? – and materialized a crystallized version of a zanpakuto in her hand. She dropped a mock curtsy, something every lady was supposed to know, before twirling her zanpakuto in her hand. “I guess I shall have the pleasure of fighting you myself.” she said, a mischievous grin shadowing her face.

⋆⋆⋆ HAKASE xELISIA
yonbantaixTAICHO

Elisia’s eyes narrowed, her body tense with anger and frustration. To say the very least, approaching her right now was one of the most dangerous things to do, as her fury was still raging on. While she did not let the vines loosen or divert from their original use that she had told them, her infuriated gaze rested upon the boy enemy. Her face softened momentarily, before she recalled what she was doing and resentment returned to her face once more. It seemed like they were getting recruited even younger nowadays, although he was roughly the same age as one of their own Captains – somebody she had heard about, but never met. Captain of the Third Division, apparently, from what she’d overheard her giggling subordinates chatting about. She didn’t get why some people liked the younger type, but eh, what the heck. It was up to them and yes, it was rather strange to her in a way, but she accepted them as long as they managed to get their work done and everything properly running. Although thinking about the members of her Division and the better times had a strange calming effect, it didn’t do much as she realized the fact that many of them now were dead as a result of this.

Letting out a huge sigh, which was highly uncharacteristic of her, she let the tension go, working her muscles and retracted any acid. However, she kept a hold of her emotions, as they would serve to help her power her control over her plants, even if it was a little erratic at times. “Yeah, thanks a lot for your congratulations…since it’s your lot that ruined my wedding day, ” her voice was layered with sarcasm as she emphasized her dislike for her enemy, despite his particular innocent looks, “It looks as if my enemies are getting younger and younger.” She flashed Kazuma a particularly devilish grin, before going on, “And don’t worry about me holding back, Kazuma, I don’t think I could even if I really tried.” She had been about to attack, although she didn’t have a faintest idea of what she was about to use, before her sister suddenly appeared in front of her, jolting her out of her current state. As Zume told her of Nu, she felt ashamed, almost guilty about the fact that she had neglected her job. While it was important that she was fighting for Kyo and the others, her main role was as a healer and since there was a desperate shortage at the moment, it was even more vital now that she upheld her role. Her shoulders slumped and she nodded in response to her sister, whispering, “Very well, Zume, but look after yourself.” With that, she darted through the area, making her way back to where she came from as she traced her previous path.

It did not take her long to locate Nu, Lee and their enemy, especially since there seemed to be a significant number of their enemies missing now. Shunpo’ing over to Nu’s side, she cursed at the sight of the wound. It had been cauterized by Nu herself, it seemed, but it was still a nasty one and there was a liability that it must have caused a lot of pain. Deciding that it would be best to get rid of any pain first before checking it out, she mumbled, “Chiyudō #30: Iyashi,” hoping that the comforting feeling would be better for Nu. After that, she quickly examined the wound, deducing that Nu;s leg was covered in burns, nothing more. The arm, however, had been basically destroyed and it was likely that she would never get it back, or regrow it again. Looking up at Nu again, she pulled an apologetic look, telling the other Captain quietly, “I’m sorry, Nu-chan, but for now, all I can do is seal the wound up with your arm. I think it is likely that you will not be able to regain that arm.” She took a small dagger from her pouch, cutting herself and letting her blood seep onto Nu’s wound. Watching carefully as it sealed up perfectly, she sealed her own wound up again, before using Chiyudō #17: Keikatsu to heal the burns on Nu’s legs. Then, she stowed her dagger away, turning to Nu and saying, “I’m sorry that’s all I can do for now. Look after yourself, alright, Nu-chan?” Worry crossed her face as she shunpo’ed away. She stopped by Lee though, first, whispering in his ear, “Naohito-Taichō will be alright. She’s out of pain, at the very least, and her wound’s closed up. However, I doubt that she will be able to get her lost limb back. Sorry, Masashi-Taichō…” With her task done, she hurriedly moved away, before stopping next to Tadashi and evoking Chiyudō #17: Keikatsu to heal his burns. Lightly smiling at Tadashi, she inclined her head slightly, before rushing back to where her sister was most likely fighting Kazuma.

Staring at Nu as she just how serious he had become, Arian gazed at her, unblinking, unmoving, an intimidating figure covered in flames. As Nu took care of her wounds in a rather painful, yet effective manner, Arian remained unmoved by her course of actions, whereas normal hollows would begin a series of arrogant threats, Arian neither had the means nor the will to perform such trivialities. In this form, all that matters to him is duty, nothing else, not life, death, pain, suffering, even victory, the only thing that mattered was duty to him. Quickly noticing the fact that Nu had activated her Shunko once more, Arian waited calmly at whatever attack she had in mind for him.

As the dark slivers of energy dissipated from her palm, Arian remained stationary as the outlines of the box formed around him, outlined by a malicious indigo-colored light. Seeing as how he couldn’t possibly perform a Sonido fast enough to escape it, Arian put up the façade of becoming falling prey to Nu’s kido, helpless inside the lacerating coffin. However, he was from helpless, or easy prey for that matter, as the coffin began to seal him off, he continued to stare down Nu mercilessly, as if trying to burn his image into her mind. Taking note of the sudden increase in reiatsu pressure above him, he could only deduce that it belonged to Lee, who was most likely launching an attack at his Path, seeing as how he was still standing and not being knocked away by some powerful ability.

With the coffin finally complete, Arian immediately raised his hands towards Nu’s general location, stretching his palm outwards towards her as he charged up his Fire Blast. As the laceration commenced, Arian was unfazed by the omni-directional assault of the black needles upon his body. One was because of his insanely high physical endurance, and two because of the Explosive Ash that covered his entire body. Upon contact with his skin, the needles would trigger the ash’s combustive ability, thus destroying them midway into their assault. And though Arian was still bloodied after the ordeal, the damage would prove to be far too minimal for one to assume that he simply took the attack head on. As the coffin began to peel away, Nu would be greeted by the sight of a wounded Arian, bloodied by the attack, but still standing, but furthermore, she would also come to face to face with Arian’s Fire Blast as it erupted from his palm towards her, mere moments after Elisia Shunpo’d away from Nu’s area. Turning his attention to Lee’s attack upon his Path, Arian stomped upon the ground, and with his massive strength and weight, dislodged a slab of earth from the ground. Seizing it with his free hand, he tossed it upwards, and upon exiting his hand, the projectile was covered by his Burst Shell as it flew upwards, just a few centimeters away from Fuerer’s skin.

=============================================================================

Looking on as Arian showcased his released form; Fuerer couldn’t help but feel slightly overwhelmed at Arian’s presence. Despite his own fire having a significantly high temperature, it was nowhere near as ferocious as the infernal shroud that coated the Sephira. In this form, Arian wasn’t the bumbling dunce Fuerer looked down upon, he was Goelcerth. Most arrancars become beastlike when they entered their released forms, even Fuerer admitted to feeling more like a beast in his gigantic form, but Arian was different, in his released form he was akin to a machine, and that was what Fuerer both respected and feared about the man.

Snapping himself from his bout of daydreaming, Fuerer noticed that the Shinigami Nu had sustained critical injuries due to her encounter with Arian. Fuerer couldn’t help but be pleased at the outcome of his plan, but was quickly stopped by Lee’s sudden aggressiveness. Fuerer had suspected as much, the fact that the two paired up against them, when there were obviously other Shinigami who were in dire need of help. This caused Fuerer to speculate that the two had a relationship between them, a theory which, in his mind, was verified by Lee’s choice of words. Witnessing the Captain’s display of power, Fuerer knew his anger would be a double-edged sword, if they played their cards right, he might just pave to his own defeat. But, before he could plan ahead, he had to deal with the oncoming wave that was heading towards him. He estimated its force in his head, and despite knowing that it would probably be difficult to counter, he opted to use his Burning Roar to try and negate it. However, just as he began to inhale the necessary amounts of oxygen to fuel it, his fiery eyes widened as Lee appeared closer to him, supplementing the wave with a Shunko blast. This did not bode well for Fuerer, as he lacked the time and power to negate both. Fortunately however, he sensed the fast approach of an oncoming large projectile towards him, and given its heat output, he could attribute it to Arian. Going with his Sephira’s plan, Fuerer continued his counter-attack, letting out a blast of super-heated air around a 6-7ft area around him, raising the temperature in the air to 900 degress Celsius. At the same time, the shell covered earth would impact upon either the Shunko blast, or the water wave, whichever was faster, causing it to explode in mass of fire just as Fuerer’s Burning Roar took effect, the two attacks would hopefully, more or less nullify Lee’s assault.

However, Fuerer wasn’t finished quite yet. He had noticed the actions of Nanashi and Elisia, and their abilities posed a threat to their invasion. Thus, he wasn’t about to allow their battle to drag on for far longer than necessary. Taking advantage of their counter-attacks’ blast effect, Fuerer swung his massive zweihander in a sweeping fashion, not towards Lee, but towards Nu, in a psychological and tactical maneuver. If all went according to plan, Lee would be briefly distracted by the blast, thus allowing for him to attack Nu, who was injured. If not, then he hoped that the attack would infuriate Lee enough for him to slip up, it was a risky maneuver, but he knew he also had the back-up of Arian, who would be obscured from their vision by Fuerer’s massive size, allowing for him to launch a surprise attack if necessary, which Fuerer hoped wasn’t.

Turning to the sound of the one man's voice she didn;t want to hear at this time, Nu turns to look at Lee, a facade of arrogance and confidence playing on her face. He looked furious, at her or his own belief that he failed to protect her she didn't know, but this was exactly why she wanted to hide this for as long as she could. "Heh, I should have seen that.. I'm...I'm sorry...." As he watched him fight, more ferocious then ever, she had begun to hear the fleeting emotion in his voice. He was worried about her, and that only made her feel worse. To be a liability, a link, was the one thing she was afraid of happening, and now it has, and it enraged Nu's friend. She was taught everything she knew about fighting by sparring with the man, constant training on her own time, and this is what she had to show for it? Worry and sadness quickly turned to surprise as Elisa came to her, as a medical nurse always does. "It's fine Elisa, I can still fight...." Her medical skills were top notch, but she knew even she had its limits when it came to recovery. Realizing that the loss of her limb was permanent, she swallows the feelings for now and nods, getting back up. Just as she did however, she seemed to be attacked on two fronts, most likely to finish her off. "Tch, it was my fault for downsizing them so early in the fight....." Taking off the remains of her top, she threw off her Ginjōhan upon the flour, the metal sash creating a loud crater on the ground before the dust settled. "Lee, have confidence in me, and pay attention.." The last thing she wanted was for Lee to get hurt, be it by the actual fight, or distracted further on her safety to get himself hurt. While the path was emitting heat, shunko provided a well enough defense, and she was used to extreme conditions, though in her state she activated Ryū no Gekirin. Dissapearing in a shunpo. it was rather easy to get underneath the larger Path who was previously swinging a sword in her direction, a ploy to screw with Lee, something that normally wouldn't work if he was calmer, but now, she didn't know.

"You will not use me like that..." She appeared as though she was crackling with brighter electricity then usual it seemed her emotions reflected her abilities as her fist was encased in a a small orb of electricity. "Byakuraishō!" She slammed her fist into the the Path's underbelly, the electrical fist would spread and scramble his entire nervous system.

A small grin worked it's way onto Ciel's face as he saw that Zenos was coming at his restricted space, the one governed by his runes. He let out a small laugh when Zenos' body touched it and the runes flashed across the invisible sphere, then ejected him from it with a great amount of force and into the pond across the garden. Ciel only had to wait until he saw that the pond had turned black before Zenos came flying out of the water to land near him and look around. He shouldn't have been surprised that Zenos, who had trounced a handful of Lieutenants and a single Captain all by himself before the Captain Commander had shown up to intervene, would not be entirely fooled by the amnesia generated by Ubi Soonto, but that didn't stop Ciel from looking surprised when Zenos turned his Cero Oscuras on him. He realized then that all might have been lost had he not used Deikushon along with Ubi Soonto, because the only thing that saved him from the destructive might of his Cero Oscuras as that it had it's power reduced to a mere Cero by the sealing of Zenos' Resurrección.

Despite Zenos being thwarted by this ability and subsequently shocked by it, he jumped right back into the fight and proceeded to use a series of movements before releasing a Gran Rey Cero towards Ciel's back, then move to his front and do the same. He had been effectively tricked by Zenos' movements such that he almost missed the Gran Rey Cero coming up behind him. Since he didn't have enough time to look backwards, he quickly scribbled 'Haiparaaju' into his journal, causing the word 'Harm' to appear on the back of Zenos' neck just as the Gran Rey Cero collided with Ciel, knocking him forward and throwing up a substantial amount of smoke. Once it cleared, Ciel emerged wound free, as the damage he had sustained was transfered over to Zenos. Looking just in time to see another Gran Rey Cero coming at him, Ciel put pen to paper and wrote out 'Hai', in a last ditch effort to do the same as before, until he noticed that the Gran Rey Cero had suddenly disappeared. Blinking, Ciel drew a line through the word he had started, cancelling it's effects, and then stared at Zenos. He didn't have to wait very long for an answer, or at the very least for an interruption, as Hei, in a form that felt far too much like a hollow, suddenly appeared between them and began fighting Zenos himself.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Ciel took a step back and up, sending him into the air of the battlefield. He looked around at his colleagues, noticing that some of them were not faring as well as the others; the Sephira seemed to be doing a number on them. Ciel released his book and pen, which caused them to hang there, suspended in mid-air as if immune to gravity. Putting hand to his chin and giving it a tap, Ciel moved his left hand to his left lapel and pulled it open, then proceeded to rummage through his jacket until he produced a small plastic container that looked to be full of black ink. It wasn't long before Ciel had abandoned the upper part of his armani tuxedo, letting it float to the ground as he unscrewed the lid to the container of ink. He spent a good portion of a minute drawing the symbols for Tenteikūra, not only on his arm, but over his entire torso. The ink did not stay wet for very long, in fact it quickly bonded with his skin and dried within seconds. Tossing the container to the ground, Ciel clapped his hands together, then stuck them out to his sides, keeping them parallel to the ground. "Black and white net. Twenty-two bridges, sixty-six crowns and belts. Footprints, distant thunder, sharp peak, engulfing land, hidden in the night, sea of clouds, blue line. Form a circle and fly though the heavens. Bakudō no Nanajūnana: Tenteikūra." Two glowing, outlined squares appeared in space just half a foot from his palms, one for each.

Thousands of glowing, Reiryoku-based root-like branches, which was many more than normal, extended from the squares as Ciel mentally linked himself into the minds of the Shinigami present, at least those who were on his side, then proceeded to open a second mental link, one that would connect all of their minds to each other, allowing thoughtspeak between each Shinigami for an indefinite amount of time. Ciel's alignment with Space/Time allowed him to use this Kidō to it's fullest potential, and he was currently the only being capable of doing so. "I shall be talking with all of you intermittently, so do try not to allow my words to get in the way of your own thoughts, though I imagine that wouldn't be hard given who you are. Regardless, I have opened a mind link for all of you to share so that each of you may broadcast your thoughts to everyone, only a handful of you, or just one other. This will allow for obviously superior communication, and present the opportunity to converse freely with your partners without being found out. Note that if you do not think about designating the proper recipients of your thought waves, they will automatically be transmitted to everyone. In order to prevent everyone from being overwhelmed with twenty voices in their head, I ask that you make a conscious effort to control and direct your thoughts accordingly. My Zanpakutō best deals with support, so I shall be a second set of eyes and ears for you all, and occasionally use my abilities to lend a hand where it is needed. Also, with my Archive, I will constantly update you with new information regarding your opponents; think of me as a real-time search engine for fighting. That is all."

"This is not a pleasure I would like...." Holding his sword firmly in his hand, he couldn't help but stare sadly into her opponent. "Let us begin......Espada de Dios Sol" His sword suddenly ignited on fire, the fiery blade now pointed at Suzume. "Binah Sephira, Kazuma, let's end this quickly before that woman arrives to heal you." With a sudden sonnido, the flames from his sword were the only indication on his movements as he closes the distance between himself and Suzume, already aiming for her throat.

"Telling me to go. But hands beg me to stay. Your lips say that you love. Your eyes say that you hate. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. What you build you lay to waste. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take. So I, I won't be the one. Be the one to leave this. In pieces. And you, you will be alone. Alone with all your secrets. And regrets, don't lie. You promised me the sky. Then tossed me like a stone. You wrap me in your arms. And chill me to the bone. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take."

Lee continued to stare at the path coldly as his attack continued towards the large flaming half-horse. Closing his eyes again in frustration after Nu's words Lee let out a small inaudible sigh. Elisia appearing to heal Nu's wounds was noted and Lee opened his eyes to watch her work. Turning his attention briefly to the Sephira on the ground Lee became aware of Elisia next to him whispering into his ear. The words she offered did not help to ease the anger burning inside and instead served to fuel it adding hate to the fire.
"Understood..." Watching the Sephira sending help towards the path Lee sent another blast of kido energy out making sure all attacks were canceled out. Then without waiting for there to be time to react as the path swung his sword at Nu Lee held both hands out in front of him. "Raikōhō." Releasing a massive wave of yellow energy Lee glanced down at Nu giving her a slight nod in acknowledgement of her statement. Given the timing both Nu and Lee's attacks would arrive at the same time.

With that Lee's attention was turned towards the Sephira given that if left to his own devices the man would simply help his subordinate. Dashing down towards him Lee could feel the heat radiating off the man and put his left hand out in front of him.
"Hinami." Flicking outwards with his finger Lee released an ethereal white wave that instantly began freezing whatever it passed over. Then Using shunpo Lee disappeared to reappear standing sideways in the air above Arian looking directly down upon him then began speaking rapidly. "Limit of the thousand hands, sacred hands of unreachable darkness, shooting hands of the invisible sky. A path that drops light, wind that stirs up embers, do not hesitate to gather, look at my fingers. Light bullets, eight bodes, nine articles, tome of heaven, diseased treasure, great wheel, gray turret. Aim your bow faraway and disappear brightly. Hadō number Ninety One, Senjū Kōten Taihō." After finishing several spears of light appeared and shot towards Arian that would result in a devastating explosion. Lee had opted to use the incantation so the kido had nearly double the power it would usually have. Given the sheer size of the explosion it was unlikely with the heavy armor the man was wearing that escape was an option, though of course Lee could be wrong given the man hadn't really moved much yet.

Feeling a mental connection being made Lee stopped moving briefly to hear what the user had to say. Hearing the words offered Lee came to the conclusion that the user had alignment on his side, given the fact that he could allow the kido to connect individual minds inside the larger web. Connecting his mind with Nu's Lee spoke up in a calm tone.
'I have confidence in you. I am sorry I allowed such an attack to catch you off guard. It will not happen again. Is there any type of strategy you would like to employ or would you prefer to continue as we are doing now?' Turning back to the battlefield Lee looked towards Arian. He still felt guilty over allowing such a permanent injury to happen to Nu, but aside from letting the anger and hatred for the man responsible to fuel him, this was not really the time to worry about such things.

"Sacrifice through Danger and Pure Love. That is what the Lily of the Valley symbolizes."

Tadashi Sakamoto

9th Division Lieutenant

Tadashi had tuned out the battle all around him while he'd fought with the three Knights. Now, he was scanning the area rapidly for a new target. Tadashi didn't exactly want to risk getting in someone's way while their heated battles raged on. At this point, he was a bit upset both because the last thing he wanted to do is distract a fellow Shinigami from battle and because Nanashi had stopped Helen from hitting the ground (thus not being skewered and of course killed by the shadow below). If only Ciel had set up that mental link before, he could have told Nanashi to leave Helen alone. After all, sealing her away now may prove troublesome later. Still, he would no longer be ganged up on, at least for the moment.

He murmured a thanks to Elisia as she healed the burns he'd sustained dodging the nasty Gran Ray Ceros from Miria's attack. Tadashi shouldn't have left himself so open while casting Haien, and had overestimated his speed. It was like Tenma had said - he was not fully feeling the consequences of his Bankai in the daytime, thus he was not using it to its maximum potential.

Thanks to Elisia, his crossbow arm no longer felt painful to move from the terrible burn it had sustained. So, all in all, he was refreshed for a renewed bout of fighting. Looking over to where Kazuma (apparently an enemy and a newcomer, though the former was a hard thing to believe...) was air-walking, Tadashi saw the Sephira suddenly dive for a target that turned out to be Suzume. He did not know whether or not she'd been the one to designate him as the opponent, but he accessed the mental link and sent a message just to be safe.

'The boy Sephira is heading for you,' reported Tadashi, hopefully not distracting the girl. Even while sending the message, he was already flash-stepping to Suzume's position. He couldn't be in time to help Suzume fend off the initial attack, nor could he strike the Sephira from the angle Tadashi was looking and the velocity with which Kazume was moving, but he could provide backup to Suzume or move her away in case the initial attack by Kazuma proved crippling.

[P.S - Tadashi failed to notice any giant ******** dragons... sad ]

Suzume received the mental link with a thankful grin. Well, at least, they were all able to communicate without letting their enemies know what was going on. With a little more courage than before, she rolled her eyes at her opponent, clearly at ease with the fact that she was fighting someone younger than her. “I’m not going to depend on my sister for the rest of my life,” she bluntly told him, “And that woman, by the way, is Elisia and she was getting married today. Oh, yeah, you probably ruined her wedding, ya know.” She blinked as she noticed the flames slowly heading towards him. Uh-oh. Coupled with Tadashi’s mental warning, she crystallized the moisture in the air, forming a crystal barrier directly in front of her, covering her throat, her chest and the lower half of her face. Just in case the shield was not enough, she leapt back, keeping a safe distance between Kazuma and herself. “Thanks for the warning,” she gratefully thanked Tadashi, knowing that it was good to give gratefulness when it was due. Turning to her opponent, she sent another message to her sister, saying, “Eli, don’t worry about coming back. They’ll need you more on the battlefield as a healer…and help any of the other Captains. I’ll be fine here. Tadashi’s also here, so I’m not alone.” With that, she turned back to Kazuma and grinned, calling, “I don’t think this will end as quickly as you want it to.” She formed a massive crystal dragon, before pointing her finger at Kazuma and forcing it to head towards him in a rush.

Charging in, Kazuma had to admit he was suprised at her reaction time. To calculuate where he was heading at such an angle was bothering him, until he slashed the barrier in two, the girl having moved a safe distance away. Looking around for any hints on this matter, he quickly spots a boy not on his side rushing to her aid, perhaps they shared some sort of power? Turning away from the boy, he faces the girl again, his sword slicing the bisected barrier into smaller pieces as he moved forward. Watching as she summoned a large, crystaline dargon to attack him with, he quickly sheathes his sword. "It seems I cannot fight you in this form so I shall not...Invertir Renacimiento~" With a sudden flash of bright light, the boy quickly aged before their very eyes, his hair growing longer, his basic frame growing while gaining armor and a haori, his build much more muscular now. By the time he was done and the wisps of light left from his sight, he looked like a typical old school samurai, his eyes still focused on the dragon that was heading towards him. "Not good enough! Armadura de Dios Sol!" With a waves of his hands, a similar orb envelops him, this time for defensive purposes. He will find as soon as the rock dragon creature makes contact with the shining ball, it melts in a fantastic display of lights, the crystals refracting some light before they too melt away to nothingness.

Kazuma takes a pleasant walk closer and closer to the girl, his sandals clacking upon the stone ground. "I am still truly sorry for the wedding, I did not think there would be such an occasion today..." Most likely this was part of their plan, as all the shinigami were gathered in one big location. Stopping some short feet away, he draws the other sword that came with his Resurrección. "It is not fair for me to judge you based off appearance, so in turn, I expect no holding back correct?" Dissipating all his previous abilities, as that gave his position away, he uses another sonido, this time appearing by Suzume's back. He figured they had some sort of messaging system based off vision, as seen with Tadashi observing all his movements, as well as following his sword's path. So, in theory, if they cannot see Kazuma until the last possible second, then it would already be too late. Using an X like shape for his slash, he brings his swords down, in hopes of crippling her severely.

Neida watched her Cero be consumed by some technique which belonged to Hideki. "Dammit." She looked pissed, she wanted to end this quickly and be done with this stupid invasion. These two Captains were annoying with their techniques/abilities; they were an annoyance to fight. She was a Sephira who concentrated on her Hollow powers being augmented, so them being able to dodge the last brute of her attacks was aggravating. Her Pesquisa detected Hibiki's Chakram, how she never noticed it was beyond her, but she noticed it now. "Tch, I let my guard down..." her thoughts intruded as Hibiki produced himself in front of her. A distraction was what instantly popped into her mind as she knew the other Captain would take this opportune moment to strike. She noticed Hibiki move forward to attack her, these moments seemed easy enough to dodge. But a sudden lashing of wind was unexpected, this threw her off, and made their trap successful - to an extent. Her hair billowed behind her as she resisted the winds for a few milliseconds before being took off her feet and lifted backwards. During this time, her Pesquisa Diligente had sense Hideki's appearance and channeling of a large sum of Reiryoku into a Hado. The wind was like a thousand whips lashing at her, tearing the seams of her skin and causing some rupturing in her blood vessels. The winds would slow as Hideki's Kurohitsugi surrounded her. As the box closed around her, if one could see, they would watch a smirk grow on her face. Her feet would land just on a flat spot of reishi as the darkness surrounded her.

Neida knew nothing else to do but to defend with a Segunda Etapa, a second stage of her Resurrección, right before the lacerations struck, her body was surrounded with a fine armor, it happened in a fraction of a second; she used her might to restrain her Reiatsu, hoping for an element of surprise after the attack was through. To her surprise, her strong armor was pierced through in some places where it was weaker. Causing some moderately deep wounds to leak blood. Nothing she could ignore thanks to her pain receptors being able cancel the pain entering through. She used a small amount of her High-Speed Regeneration on all of her wounds, making sure not to use a large amount of her Reiryoku. All of this would happened after the Kurohitsugi was over, and had started to opened. Immediately she had her arms raised, pointed at the two (pinpointing them out with her Siempre Pesquisa), in about four second - while her body was still shrouded by the sun thanks to the Kurohitsugi still above her head- she used her Doble Cero Oscuras to fire two deadly Cero Oscuras at Hideki and Hibiki. The time to react to this would be small, as she had charged and then fired in quick succession. While the two large blast were traveling beside each other, almost appearing like they were one, it was obvious it was two separate Cero's. Hit or if possible, missed, the blast would travel and damage anyone or anything behind them. Before the Seireitei sun hit her body, she reverted back into her Resurrección form, looking as thought she never entered her Segunda Etapa; - this was due to her wanting to keep the element of that hidden for now and the amount of time she could stay in it - with her body looking unclad, but the right portion of her mask cracked. The wounds on her body were gone, and she presented herself barefooted on the dirt ground that was once grassy. She stood for a moment, without moving. She begun to walk forward, as she did, brown reishi started to surround the palm of her hands and form into a pair of swords; knowing to not take her opponent lightly. "Pitiful Shinigami..." Her voice was low and agitated, holding malice. Her walk towards them was grounded as she held both swords to her sides, slightly pointed away from her.

(edited for clarity, if it is not OK for me to do that, please inform me.... I will not be doing it all of the time. i.e entering Segunda Etapa and then exiting it in the same post; I know that is sort of silly to do.)

Malchut Sephira - Being of Lowliness

Zenos had been far too annoyed with Ciel's troublesome abilities to really pay attention to the fact that Hei's Reiatsu was bearing down upon the area and killing hollow. Zenos had felt it so many times that it was a routine procedure to feel it, allow it to force you down, and then stand back up when it was gone. It was more taxing on his body and Reiryoku reserves to counter it with his own Reiatsu, so Zenos had long since learned to forget about resisting it, let it choke the life out of him for a minute or so, then jump right back up and fight again. It was actually the best way to deal with anyone's Reiatsu, and he was likely the only person around that would use such a method. Since he had been underwater and a victim of sudden amnesia, Zenos was unaware that Hei had dispatched of 2/3 of the hollow that he had called out. He wasn't even paying attention to that, let alone the loud noise generated by the dragon that he wasn't even looking at, and then subsequently distorted by all the water around him. Because of all of this, it wasn't until his Cero had vanished, making him shoot looks towards the only sketchy person around, Aurelius, that he actually noticed Hei was up to something. His eyes widened, but not in fear or surprise, as was evident by the fact that the rest of his face remained set in what could only be described as anger.

Though this anger was present, he did not lash out, but instead watched Hei's transformation and felt his Reiryoku shift to one you would only find in Hueco Mundo. Due to Hei transforming in such a flashy manner, that being he took no caution to prevent Zenos from witnessing it, he was on the defensive by the time Hei was upon him and landing a heavy punch to his chest which Zenos blocked with the open palm of his right hand. Zenos' resistance did not, however, prevent him from being knocked back. Momentarily distracted by thoughts of how fast this form had made him, by using Gemelos Sonído instead of his own form of instant travel, Zenos remained ignorant of the back kick to his face that would send him flying towards the pond again. Zenos quickly slowed his descent by gathering Reishi underneath his feet in a manner similar to thrusters on spacecraft, but on a much, much smaller level. The effect was only that he stopped dead in the air, four or five feet up and tilted forward at a 73° angle in relation to the water below him, so that his body was neither perpendicular to the ground, nor parallel to it. Something caught his eye in the reflection of the water, and he looked down to see something glowing on his tongue, which was barely visible past his lips. Opening his mouth, he saw the runes that had been planted there by Ciel's ability, and he suddenly realized why he had taken to speaking the names of his attacks, and why he felt like he should be more talkative than normal.

A Gemelos Sonído put him several feet away from Hei, where he actually stopped to watch his dogs finish off the hollow he had called forth. He took this time to watch not because he was overly arrogant that he wouldn't get hurt if he stood around with his guard down, but because he was actually curious as to the mechanics behind this new form of his. "Taking our pride and becoming a Vizard was not enough for you, I see. Now you have further stepped on our pride and taken to forsaking anything that used to be Shinigami about you." Zenos' needed only cast his sight across the battlefield and use his enhanced hearing to pick up the looks of disgust and words coming from the most notably annoyed- Hibiki Kirisho and Masashi Lee. "Your colleagues seem furious with your decision. Not that I blame them." After he finished speaking, he appeared in front of Hei, though with his hands planted on the ground, his arms bent, his knees up to his chest, and his back to Hei. Pushing up, he used the pent up potential energy in his body to send both of his feet towards Hei's chin before using another Gemelos Sonído to put him behind Hei as his spine would straighten up from the force of impact. Planting his left foot firmly on the ground behind Hei, he quickly snapped his right toward his back, to deliver a spine shattering blow. He was far from done, however, as he quickly moved to his front again, planting his feet apart to steady himself as dull grey spread of Reiryoku gathering at his fingertip that was pointed at Hei. following his gaze. "Μεγάλος βασιλιάς μηδέν." The highly potent Cero was fired, spinning like a razor, before decompressing into a huge blast-like, dull-grey wave that was sent barreling towards Hei just after he would experience Zenos' kick. "Are you sure it's all right, fighting me without your sister?"

...and thus the world is petrified.

"...allow me to show you a fate worse than death."

Hei eyed Zenos suspiciously as he spoke of Hei stepping on the pride of the hollow, like it was actually something the Sephira cared about. It was amusing to hear him speak in such a manner, and even more amusing to hear him speak more than a few words over several hours. Hei hadn't personally heard him talk this much before, though he knew it was Ciel's doing that it was so. "Your pride? Cheap words coming from an Arrancar." The downside to this form was that he was no longer as fast as he used to be, so he and Zenos were pretty evenly matched in terms of pure speed. Because of this, though he could smell Zenos coming towards him, he wasn't able to react to that speed of his. Taking the the blow to his chin was the least of his problems, and he made this evident by grinning madly and turning his gaze to his back right where Zenos appeared next, speaking as his spine straightened up. "And I don't give a s**t about them."

Hei mustered up a laugh just as he heard the sound of his spine snapping, a sound that might have worried him in the not-so distant past, and then stumbled forward but caught himself by the sudden appearance of black, malleable spears that shot out of the shadows on the ground and wrapped around key parts of his body to keep him upright. A malicious grin filled his face as the cero collided, taking off his right arm and part of his side. Seemingly finished by this attack, Hei's head rolled back as though it had gone limp, and simply hung there as a few seconds passed. Then came the sound of Hei's maniacal laughter as he lifted his head to look at Zenos, a laugh not often heard, and chilling to the bone each time. "Miage-nyūdō no Ome!" Making eye contact with the Sephira was all it took for Zenos to have a sudden, unexplainable fear of Hei that was only furthered as Hei would grow to the size of a skyscraper in his eyes. Knowing well that Zenos would be distracted for a few moments, Hei allowed his spears to release his body as High-Speed Regeneration kicked in, causing bits of flesh to shoot out of his shoulder until they began to bulge and reform his entire missing arm and then his side in the same manner.

As Hei appeared to Zenos' front with the static sound found only in a Sonído, he flashed a manic, toothy grin that was mostly obscured by the angle of his head toward the ground. "Are you sure it's alright to be fighting me without your leader?" He retorted, bringing the butts of his palm together, flattening his palm and snapping his arms all the way open, slamming his hands into Zenos' torso with enough force to send the tiny Sephira flying across the battlefield and right through the fight between Nu, Lee, Arian, and Fuerer. The timing was such that it he flew there just as Lee had finished up with Senjū Kōten Taihō and the debris and smoke caused by the explosion had billowed away, leaving all of them to witness their Second in Command flying through the air. Hei was quick to follow, appearing behind him and catching the Sephira in his right hand by digging his claw-like nails into his back, stopping him just as he was directly in the middle of Lee's and Nu's fight.

Hei had no actual reason for sending him over here; he had done it unconsciously as he wasn't paying close attention to those he didn't care about. "Taikōjunkanhira!" With his nails and about an inch of his finger tips embedded into the back of Zenos, Hei tightened up the muscles in his arm and proceeded to twist his arm, while yanking his arm back, resulting in Zenos being released and spun in the air with the wound as the axis of rotation. As he turned his back to Zenos, he accessed the mind-link he had become aware of only a few seconds prior, flashed Nu and Lee a malicious grin, then broadcast his thoughts to each Shinigami, his words laced with every ounce of malice he was feeling at the moment and his voice sounding guttural due to his hollow. "How incredibly dull. That was easier than I had thought."
