While Carona helped the grovyle and vaporeon find JR, and hopefully get some rest back in their pokeballs, Trey resumed perusing the maze, walking with his hands in his pockets. It was cool, as it was getting later, and there was a halloween breeze in the air, that he honestly found calming. Unlike most people, he didn't have a particular favorite weather, mostly because he didn't go outside very often, but something like this, on the cooler side, but not freezing, was about as pleasant as it could get for a walk outside. Though, it probably wasn't helping his hat dry, and it wasn't really assisting with all the mud and water that had soaked into his own clothes from his fight with Reese. Speaking of, he absently wondered if that jerk had managed to drag himself from bed yet. He'd gotten poisoned pretty badly...

With Naomi's permission and, more importantly, his wallet, Rotom floated his way to the front of the group to lead them to a food stand. Of course, he needed to have Jingū follow close by, with Moriyoshi joining them so that the two could continue their conversation, so that he could make sure she was keeping a firm hold on Naomi's wallet; because the last thing they needed was for her to lose it, or have it nabbed by an opportunist stranger. Eventually a food stand was found, with a few benches nearby for them to eat at, and while Sousa helped to get Moriyoshi and Tomoe settled, Rotom ordered their food with Jingū, all while ignoring the surprised look of the cashier, and a few people around.
It was like they'd never seen a floating pokedex place a food order before.

As usual, Naomi's excitement and jolly nature forced Dallas' bad attitude into submission. "Congrats, you found a single ticket," he said sarcastically. "Ya get a hundred more of those, and we can get a finger trap or something." Nevertheless, Dallas kept his ridicule on the 'playful' side as he followed Naomi up the staircase. "Yeah, maybe this one for little kids or something," Dallas had replied in response to his pirate pal's observation. Once upstairs, it was easier to tell what all the rooms were supposed to be. There was one marked as a restroom, another as a music room, a guest suite; there were plenty more, but at the moment, the bathroom was most appealing to Dallas. "Hey, be right back. Once inside the restroom, Dallas had to walk through a bunch of fake cobwebs, much to his annoyance. "Ptew! Arceus, who thought this crap was a good idea?!" After flailing to get all of the stuff off of him, He finally got himself to the toilet, which had seen better days and sat across from an old iron bathtub which seemed to be full of blood. "So cheesy." Dallas paid it no heed as he unzipped his costume so he could take care of his business.
What he didn't see, was that behind him, the bloody bath started to rise as a figure soaked in the bloody mess climbed out of the tub. It stepped/limped towards Dallas in a jerky, inhuman way. "Oh?" Dallas just zipped up when he looked over his shoulder. Dallas felt a chill run his spine at the visage, and his fight or flight kicked in. "What the hell? Die!" He reared back and punched the figure right in the chest, knocking the wind out of the poor worker. "Ack! *cough cough* W-what the hell, man?!" The worker held his chest as he coughed loudly. "...Oh! Oh, u-um, hey, my bad dude. I was just- ya see, when someone sneaks up on you in the bathroom back in the-" The worker pointed at the bathroom door, flinging fake blood in the process. "Okay, sure." Dallas retreated (but washed his hands first) before leaving back into the main hall. "Whatever you do, Nao-kun, don't go in there." he said to his friend. Outside of the Haunted house, Beltigre and the rest of the crew had all met back up. Dalpha went in there, I think, Susan said, pointing at the building. Pack go in and find Dalpha, right? Beltigre nodded. "Yeah, that's the plan. C'mon, dorks!" The torracat walked forward, but stopped when she realized that the only other pokemon that was anywhere near her was Susan. Buns and Meloetta were easy enough to figure out, as they both looked very worried and anxious as they looked at the house. Riptide's aprehension was more logistics: he was too big to fit in the front door with his big hammerhead. Buns and I decided that we'll just stay out here and wait for Dallas to come back, Meloetta announced. So, y-you two go ahead and head into the big...scary...um...
Beltigre scoffed and turned away from the cowards. "Suit yourself, scaredy skittys! C'mon, Susan, let's go find our trainer." Susan nodded in agreement and followed after Beltigre as they entered the house. And, to applaud their bravery, Susan found a loose ticket lying on the floor near the front of the house. Ticket! Susan like Haunted House! Beltigre rolled her eyes, and carried on. "Yeah, yeah. C'mon, let's go this way. The fiery cat went to the left, and started for an area marked as a kitchen. A pain in his arm reminded Trey that he had managed to catch some of that poison, too. He checked his communicator, only to remember that JR still had it. Not like he had Reese's number, anyway, and he was pretty sure he didn't want the punk to have his, either. Maybe he could go check the tent later, though, to see if he'd gone and died despite his efforts to save him. On that matter, though... there was the fact that he actually had the pokemon responsible for their poison, in his possession. What had he been thinking, catching that thing... Dallas heading into the bathroom meant that Naomi was alone--well, not completely alone, since he had Ieyasu--which meant that, for however long it took Dallas to do what he needed, he was in charge of keeping himself entertained. Naomi hummed softly, crossed his arms behind his back, and then rocked onto his heels as he looked about. Although it was too soon to form a complete opinion on the attraction, Naomi thought it was fun! So fun, in fact, that, after approximately ten seconds had passed, he couldn't help but to tip his way over to the music room, just to peek inside. It was what one would expect of a music room: large, with a few bookshelves filled with books, and a grand piano centered in the middle. Naomi, though never having learned to play the piano in his life, was tempted to move in and press one of the keys, just to see if anything would happen.
Before he could get the chance, however, the bathroom door opened, prompting the male to scurry back and put on as innocent a face as he could manage; what? He'd totally been just right here, waiting. "To the guest suite then~" he chirped, spun around, and then began walking to the room. The piano would have to wait.

Looking around, Trey shoved his hands back into his pockets and resumed walking, checking for signs of his two missing pokemon. Honestly, he wasn't exactly worried, but it probably would be good to catch up with them and regroup some, if only to do some inventory and figure out their plan. He wanted to take advantage of this, sure, but they'd already gotten a good amount of items, and there were all these... plushies to consider, too. Not to mention the tickets they had obtained, and the berries he had growing and piling up with his supplier. He needed to take stock, figure out what he needed, how much he needed, and what it would take to get it all, because while there were some things it was good to have extra of, time was a constantly spent currency you could never really exchange for more of.

It wasn't far into their venture to the guest suite that Naomi got his anticipated next fright. Trey's thoughts began to spiral, not wildly, or even down, just... tightly, into a focused center point. He was getting back to the idea of contests, and how he was going to go about this now. He still wasn' tcompletely sure what his plan with Shade was, but he could continue on with Cute for Cherish, and he already had Carona down pat. That being said, he would need to make more poffins at some point, preferably sooner rather than later, so that he would be set on the pokemon's appeal... but that required help. And that required socialization, which always seemed to be his ultimate barrier in this whole thing.
Lifting his head, Trey blinked, slowly, and found himself at the edge of the maze, with Cherish and Shade waiting patiently for him, along with the female attendee from before. Seems he'd caught up with them after all.
