Trey turned when he thought he heard his name, but shook his head. He turned back to JR to figure out what their next step was, exactly, when the two were approached by a young blond woman. They both looked at her, Trey looking wary, JR looking.... passive. The teen raised his hand when she mentioned his name, and JR pointed to him. "He doesn't talk because he's a wimp," he explained pre-emptively. The teen gave the man a very dark side look, and the older male rolled his eyes. "Because he's 'mute'." Trey mimicked the man's sarcastic gesture, before signing to Isis, and JR translated. "He asked 'what's up?'"

"Oh.... Um.... That's too bad?" Isis wasn't sure how to feel about JR taking Trey's apparent disability so lightly. It either suggested that JR had no tact, or Trey wasn't actually mute and rather chose to not talk instead, which explained the 'wimp' comment. "Right! Well, I believe this Volcarona is yours!" Isis insisted. "Gosh I just have so many questions too. I'm a huge contest enthusiast and I have to say that moveset is just brilliant. I'd love to see it in action sometime if you'd be willing to let me know when you plan on using him? I think I have y card here somewhere... Trey stared at Isis, already hoping that this interaction would end, given JR's... brilliant introduction, and the girl's clear awkwardness and uncertainty in reaction. He folded his arms over his chest, but blinked at her mention of a.... Volcarona? He'd noticed the pokeball, he even knew what kind it was, but... Did she say Volcarona? His Volcarona? As in the one he had ordered? That got lost? He'd agonized over that! He hadn't even been able to reach the breeder about it when he didn't get it, and eventually, he'd given up. He still intended to at least get a replacement or something, but....
With wide eyes but not a word spoken, he reached out and snatched the pokeball from her hand, holding his breath, as if unsure whether breathing might crack the joke, and incite her to tell him it was all a lie. He relaxed back, but released the pokemon, a grin unfurling over his face as he looked at it. "Yeh've got ta be kiddin' me..." he breathed, practically gliding over as he moved to examine the pokemon, 360. JR tilted his head and gave Isis a meaningful, "Told you so" sort of look, which Trey caught as he came around. The teen's expression flattened, and he signed a short, "Shut up" at the man. JR stared, unimpressed, in return, before turning to Isis. "Can you understand sign language?" he asked casually.

Leo grunted when Lia threw herself onto him, and stumbled back a bit as the redhead threw her arms around him. "Yeah, I mean it..." he muttered, correcting his stance and patting her shoulder, affectionately and as a sign for her to calm down. As happy as he was, to see his sister this excited, he couldn't shake the bad feeling he had over exposing her to the rest of the world. For Lia's sake, however, he'd put them away. Just like he'd put her excited ramblings to the side. "I dunno, I'll leave that all for you to decide. Just let me know what I'll be doing," he remarked. He carefully untangled himself from his sister's hug, leaving her to make all the executive decisions--and every other decision--before he left to do his own thing.
Olivia nodded her head eagerly, quickly becoming excited at the idea of them camping out. "We'll have to check the weather, but I think we could do that," she agreed. "Buy some sleeping bags, get a few pots and pans." She'd have to curb her suggestions for now, what with Vince getting ready to enter his first contest and all, but she'd definitely keep the ideas in mind for later. It was a good thing to do too, because soon after they arrived in the changing room Olivia witnessed Vince's first case of stage fright, or at least the first one she'd ever seen; usually, he was so calm. But, seeing him so frazzled helped to keep her nerves about her, though it also helped that she wasn't competing in a contest too.
After placing her hands on his shoulders, and instructing him to calm down, Olivia held his gaze and watched him regain his composure. She smiled once he'd done that, releasing his shoulders before she turned to Wei He and the make-up kit. "Alright, let's get to work then." Olivia took her headband off, brushed her bangs out of her face, then replaced the headband before sitting down in a chair across from the Kingdra. "Stay still for me, please," she murmured, taking the makeup brush, blotting it over the dark blue, and then dusting it over certain areas on Wei He's body. She herself didn't wear too much makeup--the heavy stuff was saved for special occasions--but she'd work hard to assure that Wei He came out looking the best he could be.
Adding a final touch of silver glitter, Olivia pronounced herself done and carefully placed the brush down and stood from her chair. The pinkette turned when she heard Vince approaching, and grinned at his compliment -- even though it was directed to Wei He rather than her. "Doesn't he? You two are going to do great," she proclaimed confidently, and then laughed at Wei He's embarrassment. He reminded her a lot of his trainer, actually. Before she could make a comment, someone from outside announced that Vince's time was up and he'd need to join the rest of the coordinators behind the stage. "..You're welcome!" Olivia chirped, hesitating only because she'd been caught off guard by Vince's hug. Of course, she returned it after her shock died away, and when she drew away to look up at him she winked playfully. "I should be easy to find, I'll be the one cheering the loudest." And she would be, she'd make sure of it.
Olivia waited until Vince left before she too made her departure, and made her way into the stadium. She was nearing an empty seat, carefully moving past several individuals to get to it, when she heard someone call out her name. "OLIVIA!" She looked to the left, where the call had come from, and saw Leo, standing in his seat, and waving his hands in the air. To his left sat Lia, and on his right was an empty seat, clearly saved for her. "OVER HERE!" The pinkette couldn't help but to laugh, despite the light grumbling and confused expressions a few individuals gave, even some sent in her direction, before changing courses and joining the twins. "There you are! I was afraid you'd miss the contest!" Leo exclaimed, relieved. "Like I would miss this. I was helping Vince get ready," she explained, then looked at him. "Where were you? I haven't seen you since we left the last contest." Leo chuckled and waggled his finger, Oooh, nothing much. I was just drumming up some fanfare." She raised an eyebrow, but didn't get a chance to question Leo on what he meant as the contest started up.
Though she didn't know his name, Olivia did recognize the snobbish snowman impersonator when he came out with his Vulpix, and while she didn't explode into applause for him, she did offer the bare minimum of clapping -- to be a good sport. Her newfound hate dislike of Lance, and bias towards Vince, didn't keep her from applauding genuinely for the other two contestants, but there was a clear contrast between them and when Vince came out. As promised, she did her best to cheer as loud and proud for him and Wei He as he could, standing up to her feet so that her voice could carry, like a parent applauding for their graduating child after the principal told everyone to wait until after everyone had been announced to applaud. "GO WEI HE! GO VINCE! YOU'RE LOOKING GREAT!" To her defense, she wasn't the only one who seemed excited by the duo's entrance, and Olivia grinned wildly as the crowd responded positively to their use of Dragon Pulse.
Olivia sat down afterwards, a bit out of breath, and while she worked to normalize her breathing she waited impatiently for the judge's to announce who'd be starting off the appeal round. Even if it wasn't a guarantee to who would win, it was a step in the right direction, and so when it was reported that Vince was that person, Olivia grinned widely. She waited until after Wei He had made his move before jumping up and applauding, once again; by the time this contest was over, her throat was going to be sore. It was unfortunate that the contest couldn't continue as it was, with Vince leading, but then again it wouldn't be as interesting. Still though, Aura 'accidentally' freezing Wei He's tail didn't go over too well with her, and Olivia gripped the arm of her chair to keep herself from jumping up and protesting it, she doubted her yelling from the audience would sway the judges.
But, when Lance tried to pull the hurt 'victim', Olivia had to grit her teeth and press her lips together. Leo, sensing her anger, placed a gentle hand on Olivia's shoulder. "Come on, it'll be fine. They'll come back from this," he encouraged, blatantly ignoring the boos some of the members of the crowd felt necessary to add. Olivia forced herself to take a breath, sunk lower into her seat, and then nodded her head before she sat up. "You're right," she muttered, though that didn't stop her from sending the most venomous glare to the person next to her, booing, and promptly shutting them up. She really didn't like this Lance guy, but eventually Olivia's anger melted away -- seeing Vince and Wei He succeed, despite their setback, definitely helped.
After a few more, nerve-inducing, rounds, the contest finally ended. While the judges were deliberating, Olivia turned to look at the siblings, interested to hear what they had to say about the contest. "Who do you think won?" she asked, curious. Leo leaned back in his chair, stretched his legs out, and crossed his arms before he tilted his chin upwards. "Vince, definitely. He and Wei He recovered nicely from their 'slip-up', and displayed to the judges an understanding of the contest, surprising of a newbie," he remarked absently, but right after he shrugged. "Though, then again, I miiiight be biased." He grinned, and Olivia joined him.
When the winners were announced, and indeed it was Vince and Wei He, both Olivia and Leo jumped up from their seats and joined in on the applause. Leo, especially, seemed excited, and hugged both Olivia and Lia as he jumped up and down and cheered. They waited until after Vince had accepted his ribbon, or at least that was the plan, but they couldn't resist lingering just long enough to watch Lance's tantrum; a display that was icing on the towering cake. With the contest concluded, Olivia joined the rest of the crowd in spilling back out into the contest hall, and craned her head around to try and spot Vince. "Hey, guys, I'll be right back!" Leo called, and then disappeared into the crowd, leaving the pinkette barely enough time to say 'okay'.
With Leo gone, she returned to looking for Vince, and did her best to separate herself from the crowd to try and find him. Fortunately, she did, spotting the familiar head of hair in the black suit, and moved to hug him. She stopped though, when she saw him approach a blonde woman, and kept her distance as she waited for the two to start, and finish, their conversation. Thankfully, it wasn't a long one, but right before the blonde departed Olivia watched her give Vince an item. It was... a bit odd. "There he is! Our contest winner!" Olivia exclaimed proudly as she walked over to Vince, once he'd finished up with the blonde. She grinned, nudged him, and then looked over in the direction the blonde had gone. "Who was that? An admirer? Were you accepting her love letter?"

She chuckled sheepishly. "B-but don't feel like you have to speak for me! It's fine, really." Isis insisted. She was certain whatever reasons he had for remaining silent were valid. Naive of her, sure, but.... Well she'd certainly experienced things that very well could have put her in a similar mental state. It took a lot of her strength to prevent herself from getting to that point even now. Maybe that was why JR had called Trey a "wimp" for his silence, because he didn't think Trey's reasons were valid, or perhaps because he thought Trey was being cowardly.

Isis gave a tired smile, glancing to her xtransceiver as she felt it go off. It could have been any number of people, like Jay checking to see if she'd found Trey, or the twins giving another update on their adventure, but it turned out to be Leon. Isis brightened a bit at that. Hopefully that meant they'd made it out of the ruins!

He signed something crass quickly, before turning, and heading out, Wesley looking suspiciously between the three, before running after them. Trey was left, jaw dropped, staring after the man, one eye narrowed as his face slowly turned red. The... <********> He snapped his mouth shut and raised his shoulders some defensively, before glancing over at Isis. At least she seemed.... distracted. He relaxed some, breathing out in relief. If he recalled, she said she was glad he was... happy? So she didn't want money for finding him or anything? Worked for him.
He eyed her, admittedly a little unimpressed with her attention span, that she could snap to a text so fast, but waited till she looked up, before cocking his head to the side slightly. He really wanted to just.... sign and be off, but... "Thanks," he offered instead, before turning, and heading for the door. He didn't exactly... have much reason to stick around and talk. And she seemed to have plenty going on as it was.

✿ ❀ Isis blinked again as JR seemed to take her comment on speaking as him translating Isis to Trey. "I meant.... I was talking to-- o-oh.... Okay.... Bye....?" Isis tensed, a confused smile crossing her face as she watched JR walk out of the building. "Um.... That was meant for you." Isis clarified, facing Trey again. "If you don't want to talk, that's fine. I can get you a pen and paper maybe? Or....." Isis honestly felt bad, like she was partially responsible for JR walking out, and seeing how angry and embarrassed Trey looked just made her feel worse.
Isis was momentarily distracted from her search as she got a text from Leon, and she normally would have saved it for later but she did want to make sure they were okay. Once she was able to confirm that they were safely out of the ruins at least, and that Zero was being treated, she set her concern aside mentally. Or.... Well, she tried. Just because they were out of the ruins didn't change the fact that Zero just had yet another heart attack. "Sorry, my friends were lost in the Ruins of Alph and I just got a text, so I wanted to make sure they were okay." Well, technically it was her boyfriend and friend, but that was a mouthful. She glanced back to Trey as he actually spoke his thanks, smiling a bit. "Oh no problem~ Actually I was-- w-wait, where are you going?" She asked as he seemed to make a move to try and leave. "Please! You have to tell me about this Volcarona! Or at least promise you'll send a text or something when you use him in your next contest.... I just have to see it!" She'd even given him her card and everything just to try and make sure she could get a glimpse.

Trey warily looked at Isis at her clarification, but sighed at her proposals. Honestly... maybe. He might figure something else out to do. In the meantime, he took advantage of her distraction to try and regroup, glad she didn't see JR's signing. He looked over at her, that same resigned, tedious expression on his face while she explained, and raised an eyebrow, quirking the other as he gave a slow nod in acknowledgement. O... kay? Good they were alright, but... did she go into detail on her explanations with everyone? She could have just said 'it was important' or 'I needed to check something'. Then again, this was coming from the guy who minimized communication with all people in general, so perhaps he was coming from a very biased perspective on this.
He started out, but stopped and looked uncertainly back at her when she pursued him, shifting slightly. He looked surprised at her actual point of interest, but immediately dropped to a more uncomfortable, dubious look. He shifted some, looking away at the praise and the questions, and rubbed his neck. Uh... It was nice to get acknowledgement, honestly -- really nice. Like really, really nice -- but it wasn't something he was used to outside his weird-as-heck parents, especially when it came to contests. And she was asking questions which meant answering which meant communicating, and with JR there.... Plus he wasn't really sure he wanted to give away his method, though it wasn't anything that special, but still. He hesitated a bit, looking around. He raised his hands reflexively to sign, paused, then tried looking for his communicator, before sighing. More work than it was worth... "I uh.... I just research a lot," he started tentatively, "Find... good moves with good effects, ones that would compliment it, and then... find a pokemon that can learn them or similar moves, then a design for that pokemon, then a breeder that can accommodate, if I don't plan on catching it." He dropped his hand and shrugged. "Reverse engineered pokemon, I guess..." he muttered, uncertain whether giving all that away was really such a good idea. But, well... contests were more than just movesets, right? And it didn't hurt to help make better challengers out there, he guessed...

Lia was excited at the prospect of actually getting to be in a contest. So excited in fact, that she left as soon as Leo gave her full authority on what to wear and moves to use. Thankfully with their telepathy it would be super easy to instruct Leo as her "trainer" on what to "command" her to do. It'd be like playing a super fun game of pretend!
Meanwhile, as Lia shopped, Vince and Olivia prepped for the dragon tamer's performance, making poffins and talking about the idea of camping in order to have an excuse to make another homemade meal before they moved to the prep room to get Wei He ready for the contest. In spite of Vince's nerves, they were able to get the kingdra prepped properly and looking beautiful even if the changes were subtle. With that, Vince gave his thanks to Olivia for her help before he was dragged out on stage, grinning at Olivia's parting words. Eventually, Lia was also pulled back into the stadium though as their new gardevoir companion retrieved her in time for Vince's performance.
Olivia hadn't been kidding about cheering the loudest. Even in the large, roaring crowd, Vince could have sworn he heard her and Leo over them all. Their cheering certainly helped, at least Vince felt it did, and in the end he won the contest, so it only reenforced his belief. The small group sought Vince out, or rather Olivia and Lia had, but Leo excused himself and Lia, suspicious, stealthily slipped away after her twin to see what he was up to.
After relishing in the cheers from his victory, reaping his spoils (which included Lance's outrage), and bumping into Isis again for a somewhat concerning new predicament, Vince found Olivia. Or rather, Olivia found him. "Haha, thank you, but I wouldn't have won without all your help." Vince suggested modestly, gesturing lightly between Wei He, Luna, and Olivia. He followed Olivia's gaze to Isis as she disappeared. "Oh.... Oh, Arceus no. Though she might be a fan now? She seems to be involved in contests." Vince laughed, though it was a kind one. Isis was certainly a cute and bubbly girl, but he had no such interests in her. "Why do you ask? Would you be jealous...?" He was teasing..... Maybe. Just a little, and also perhaps a bit curious. Though actually, in comparison to a love letter, he was rather relieved she'd only been giving him dragons.
Speaking of which... "She also seems to have a knack for acquiring dragons that she cannot control, and turns to me for help. Last we met, I found her struggling with the deino that I now own. Now it seems she has found..." Vince cast a subtle and quick glance around the crowded room before continuing. "Something else." He finished vaguely. Now was not the time or place, though he'd happily discuss it with Olivia when they were in a less populated area. He also was having a hard time believing that she really would hand him such an artifact, and that it was really a jade orb. The worst part was that there was only one way he could confirm and use the artifact, and Vince hated it, so for now he set the issue aside and hoped Olivia would catch on that now was not the time or place.
Thankfully, they were interrupted by a welcome distraction. "Would you two happen to be looking for transport to the ball?" Asked a man in a butler outfit. A similarly dapper looking abra floated over, and given Vince's current attire he could see why the man was inquiring, even if Vince himself was a bit confused. "What ball?" Seeing the dragon tamer's con "Sorry! It's quite hard to tell here, given how everyone's dressed up for the contests. Perhaps I should move to the pokemon center instead..." He cleared his throat. "However, if you have any interest, I highly recommend going. The young master is hosting a wonderful gala in Parfum Palace, and insists that everyone simply must attend!" Vince turned his gaze to Olivia and quirked a brow, silently looking to see if she had any interest. It did seem like a fun idea after all, but he had no interest in going if she didn't.
Leo, after departing from the girls (or at least, one of them), made his way over to the designated 'meeting place' of all the participants of the betting pool, the doubles doors to the farthest east. Only a few individuals stood waiting, those who'd taken the gamble of betting on Vince, with one surprise 'guest' amongst them. "That was quite the contest, wasn't it?" Leo boomed, and four out of the five gathered nodded in excited agreement. He chuckled. "Now, I won't keep you guys long. You've probably got things to do. So, here you go." He began to reach for his pocket, where he'd stored the cash pooled together by all those who had participated, only to stop when Ms. Superfan herself shoved her hand out, anger not even beginning to describe the look on her face. "I want my money back!" she demanded. Leo presented her with an amicable smile, but his answer was a firm, "no", and he pulled out the roll to begin dividing it out. "You, just like everyone else, knew what you were getting into. I can't help that you made a bad call." He handed out the first, equal amount, to the person farthest from the woman and then bid them a calm farewell. "A bad call? A bad call!? Lance Knight is an up and coming contest star! The fact that he lost to some nobody was just... was just... a fluke!" she spat.
"Take it up with the judges then," was all he responded with, and gave the next person their winnings. "I'm not giving you your money back. No matter how much you scream, or stomp your foot. If you want to be mad at anyone, be mad at yourself. Or Lance, he was the one who lost after all." Leo, already tired of the woman's voice, tuned her out for the rest of his time, and after handing out the last of the winnings he turned his back to her before very casually walking away, and leaving her to stew away. Now, he just needed to find the others. Hopefully they hadn't gotten too far.
Olivia shook her head, refusing to take any of the credit. Wei He and Luna, definitely, but not her. "I didn't really do much," she insisted. She cracked a smile when he denied her secret admirer theory, and hummed as if she was convinced. "Mmm. Who knows~ Maybe she's both. If she's a fan, she's certainly got good tastes." The same thing could be said if she was a secret admirer, but... Olivia kept that to herself. She snorted and shook her head, amused. Would she be jealous? "Yes, I would," she admitted, then paused to give her words the chance to sink in. "But, only because I want a secret admirer too. Maybe I oughta to get into contests," the pinkette joked.
To find out that Vince's secret admirer/fan had a 'knack' for coming across dragons was... interesting, unexpected to say the least, and the surprise that Olivia conveyed reflected that. "Something else?" She didn't miss the way Vince looked around, at no one specifically but the crowd itself, before he spoke, and it clued her in that, whatever it was, it wasn't a subject he wanted to speak about in public. As curious as she was, she'd wait, and the sudden arrival of a butler(?) helped her to stave her questions. "A gala in Parfum Palace?" Olivia repeated after the man, unsure of the situation that they'd just come upon. It sounded fun, though she hadn't been to many balls or galas before, and Parfum Palace was in... Kalos, which was where she really needed to be. "Do you want to check it out?" she asked, and turned to Vince. "You could put that tux of yours to use again."

✿ ❀ Isis felt oddly happy as Trey decided to just talk to her. She was certain that if he didn't normally like to vocalize, it was a good sign that he was willing to talk to her, right? He could have just continued to ignore her and walked away after all, but instead he stayed and explained his breeding methods. "Wow! That's really interesting. I've never heard of that method..." Isis made a mental note. Most people generally started with the pokemon they had, and tried figuring out what moves were best. People who went to breeders usually just left it to them to figure it out, but Trey was actually invested in doing most of the research himself, and that was really cool. At least, Isis thought it was. "I'd really love to write an article on this, but I understand if you'd rather keep it off the record..." Isis chuckled.
Her communicator kept buzzing annoyingly at her side. Not that Isis was annoyed at the people texting her, she was a very busy woman and she liked it that way, but she also didn't want Trey to think she wasn't giving him her undivided attention, so instead she sent out Atona and handed him the communicator so that he could handle the texts in the meantime. If he didn't know how to respond, he could just explain the situation. Atona nodded lightly in understanding and moved away with the device to give Trey and Isis some space as he worked on her texts. First and foremost, there was a text from Fynx that was quite obviously directed at him.

Need I remind you that it had a disadvantage in it's realm and therefore an advantage in ours? Being out of it's realm makes it more dangerous for psychic types like yourself. Also just because you can learn those moves doesn't mean you have. What if it breaks free before you've learned them, hm? I trust that you will be careful, but you being careful will not change that monster's mind on whether or not to break free and cause havoc.
All things considered, I think that a cursed boy hitting on Rose should be the least of your worries, miss Foxface.
Okay, that last bit was certainly a humorous jab and Atona smirked, rather pleased with himself for it. Now he needed to move to the next text, one from an agent of Coordinator Culture, or at least her contact stated as such. The woman was letting her know that Austin was attending a Winter Gala in Parfum Palace, such that it would be opportune for an interview after his latest win in Floraroma. Atona did his best Isis impression, sending a reply that said she would be there soon.
The next text in her history was one Isis had read but not replied to from Leon, and Atona supposed he should probably give the lifeguard an explanation. After some thought, he smiled, a light plan scheming in his mind.

Trey still looked pretty wary at Isis' attention. "Really?" he queried, quirking an eyebrow, still resigned. As proud as he was of his technique -- and it's results -- he was kind of surprised she hadn't encountered that before. It just made sense, to him... Then again, maybe more people really did just go with pokemon they caught, and worked with what they had to offer.... Did it make him cold that he didn't? It wasn't like he saw pokemon as tools or anything, but... maybe he was kind of treating them that way by targeting them in such an analytical, intentional strategic manner.... Hm...
He shifted at the idea of an interview, looking uncomfortable again, and looking at anywhere but her, almost like making sure no one was listening. "I uh.... Y-yeah. I mean, I... don' think I've really done anything worth interviewin' yet," he stated, looking back at her with a dubious frown, now meeting her gaze, "I'd rather earn it, honestly." He shifted, then shrugged, relaxing a bit more into his decision. "If ya don' mind, I'd rather win more ribbons, 'fore I spill all my secrets," he stated with a bit more finality. He was being polite about it, sort of, but he was clearly set in his choice as he crossed his arms over his chest.
Cherish, meanwhile, stood up from where he'd been patiently and loyally sitting by Trey's side, and casually trotted over to Atona, instead sitting by him, and looking up curiously at what he was doing.

Lia was pretty good at blending in with the crowd; after all she'd been doing it most of her life for survival. However, she'd never really thought of using it to spy on her brother. She'd never really needed to in the past, but he had been acting strangely as of late, and now Lia knew why. She caught Leo's arm once he'd finished out his business and gave him a hard look. You were gambling??? Leo! Lia's tone was scolding. They needed money to blend in, sure, but this was not how she'd imagined they'd be doing it.
Meanwhile, Vince gave Olivia an incredulous look as she insisted not having done much. "You're joking." Vince insisted, mostly as an attempt to change her mind. "If you hadn't been there..... I don't know if I would have been able to get on stage." Vince admitted, running a hand through his hair. Sure, what Olivia did in part may have been small, but it made all the difference to Vince. Having Olivia there to help him through his panic attack and prep Wei He while Vince studied their moves was just such a big relief. If she couldn't see that..... Well, Vince supposed he had never really been great at expressing his feelings. He would have to make it up to her, one way or another.
The topic soon shifted to Isis as Olivia considered the possibility of the blonde being both a fan and admirer. "I'm pretty sure she mentioned having a boyfriend." He insisted. "Actually.... I loathe the idea of having a fanbase...." Vince admitted. He didn't want to get into contests for fame and glory, he just liked them, and the idea of doing something he liked but getting mobbed by adoring onlookers was nightmare inducing for the rather antisocial dragon tamer. "Remind me to hire a bodyguard if crowds begin to chase me." He suggested with amusement. Vince didn't believe for a second that he would ever gather such a following but.... Better safe than sorry. If he was to have fans, he'd prefer to keep them to a select few. Olivia, naturally, was at the top of that list.
Olivia seemed so strangely focused on Isis though that Vince had to ask if she was perhaps jealous of Vince having a not so secret admirer. It was only a teasing comment that he didn't expect Olivia to take seriously, but he was surprised by her answer nonetheless. That was, until she clarified that she was only jealous that he had a potential secret admirer where as she didn't. "Ah, well.... I wouldn't worry about that. I'm certain you have many, some so secret that you aren't even aware of them." He suggested with a chuckle. It was all in semi-serious jest.... Probably. Maybe. "I am sure that you would do wonderfully in contests, however, for the sake of admirers or not."
It seemed they wouldn't be going to another contest just yet though, but instead a ball back in Kalos. "I think it could be fun, if you are interested." Vince agreed. "I could even use this opportunity to brush up on my dancing skills." That and have another excuse to continue wearing in his new tux. "What would you wear though?" Vince inquired. As far as he knew, Olivia hadn't exactly been carrying around a nice dress for the occasion. "My abra and I may be of some assistance there, if you'd permit it. We can teleport you both to the palace as well as dress this fine young lady for the occasion on the way." The butler offered, which suited Vince just fine, but ultimately that was Olivia's decision, and when an agreement was made, Vince allowed himself to be teleported back to Kalos.

✿ ❀ Isis understood how sketchy this all probably seemed, but that was just how CC ran things; scouting out talent before they were noticed. Still, she respected his decision to earn an interview. "Understandable, just promise to contact me first, hotshot~" She teased, but there was some truth there. Part of the reason CC grabbed prospective coordinators before they hit the big time was because then they had a sort of claim to their fame. People tended to want the agency who noticed talent during the humble beginnings of their career rather than only paying attention once they were already popular. Additionally, an early interview before popularity was fairly harmless. If they flopped, the interview was discarded, but if they gained attention, the interview was already prepped and made, much like what happened with Austin.
Mostly, Isis was just excited that Trey had agreed to an interview. Albeit, it would come later, but it was still a promise. "In all seriousness, you have my number, so don't hesitate when you're ready." Isis nodded, glancing over as Cherish took an interest in her lucario. Atona glanced down at the little gekkit, a sort of knowing and resigned smile on his muzzle. Hello little one. He knelt down somewhat to pat her head as he got a text back from Leon.

I've never seen anything like it before. But i suppose it's like adopting a baby. <3 No, it's my fault. I was stupid and so focused on spending time with you that I forgot how bad it can be for me. Zero seems to be doing better now. They gave him some medication to be taking, actually. You mean like... a ball? Of course I'll go with you. I can't let you go to such a place by yourself. He informed Isis telepathically, standing and handing back her communicator as he led her towards a couch in the reception area. Isis looked surprised and curious, but she first politely waved her goodbyes to Trey before moving with Atona. "Great, so where are we heading?" Isis asked cheerfully, but the lucario slowly sat Isis down first. Parfum Palace is holding a gala. Atona said slowly as Isis' eyes widened. "N-no.... I don't.... I...." She stammered, and Atona took a seat next to the blonde, putting a paw on her trembling hands. I know, but this isn't some random mansion in the middle of nowhere Isis... It's a well known place with a notably generous and wealthy mansion owner who wouldn't risk his reputation to try anything. Atona insisted. "But.... Still, I..... I don't know if I can...." Isis shook her head and squeezed her eyes shut. Leon and Zero will be there, if anything happens, as unlikely as it is, we'll be ready. Besides, it's a chance to try and move on. Don't risk missing this opportunity.
Isis took a deep breath and tried to calm her nerves. Atona was right, she needed to do this. As long as they were careful, she didn't see the harm. They were stronger now, weren't they? Zero, Leon, and all of their pokemon.... Isis looked at Leon's message and smiled before working on a response.

He'd been caught off guard once, and Atona didn't plan on allowing it to happen again. Once Atona was satisfied, he motioned him and his abra over. This gentleman is one of many providing transport to the ball, and he has informed me that they also offer outfitting services such that guests are properly dressed. The butler gave a light bow. "Your... Lucario is ah... A very curious one, isn't he...?" The butler chuckled sheepishly, earning a sharp look from Atona. Clearing his throat, the poor man quickly continued. "Sorry, we are ready to take you to the gala when you are, Miss Nikon." He gave a low bow, and the abra floating by his side quickly followed suit. Atona, how harsh were you? Isis gently chided in her thoughts. I was not harsh, simply thorough. Isis heaved a sigh. "I suppose I'm as ready as I'll ever be... Also a dress would be nice.
