Watching as Alexandre and Rene headed in, Melody figured it was time to get to work. With there being two Evans family members here she was curious if the odds would be in her favor and if she might find another one in here somewhere.
Getting a small glass of champagne, she greeted some of the guests and offered up glowsticks with a smile. "Enjoy your time here, there's a lot to see and a lot to enjoy~" She always had that practiced way of handling people even if she hated every moment of it. It worked in her favor though as the few men who had taken glowsticks sought to head off towards the dance floor as she sipped at her drink. Part of her wanted to hang around the bar just to see if her brother would find himself at the bottom of a bottle again, even with how much things had change she really did want him to fail so she could take things over in the family.
Clubs were not his spouses thing, far from it infact, and that was why Akito was here and not his partner. They were at home, doing something, while he was here to do some extra work. It wasn't that they didn't care, he knew that wasn't the case, they just couldn't deal with clubs not to mention they did not like how close Akito got with other people. Hayate knew he wasn't the sort to cheat, of even take anyone else seriously, but that didn't mean his partner didn't get jealous. It certainly happened and Akito brushed it off, reminding him who he was married to, and who he went home to.
Arriving at the club he was dressed to enjoy the night, even if he would be working as well, and sought out Aloysius as soon as he got himself inside the lobby and past check in.
When he did find the man they were already roaming, working clearly, and Akito took to walking at the others side. "Good to see you here, Hayate has decided not to join us this evening. Something about clubs and him...don't mix." Playing it off with a smile, not about to mention what the issue was, as he was clearly dressed to enjoy the evening.
Slouching by the bar like a stray cat that had wandered in off the street, Todd gave Dreads Guy's back a look of commiseration. At least he hadn't gotten dumped at the door, which Todd hadn't really minded too much. But like, he'd put in some effort for making tonight special. Well, or at least not too embarassing for his new ex-girlfriend? He'd done laundry. Which had meant walking to the laundromat. A place that was either haunted or uh, home to literal monsters lurking in the shadowy corners at night.
And he'd even put on a little eyeliner and made sure he smelled nice. At least tell him he looked good before giving him the, "I need to date more upward, and tonight's a good chance to network. Find your own happiness, here's a drink voucher." - talk.
At least the drinks were pretty good? And the uh...floor show at the bar wasn't bad. They even gave him a free glowstick to pretend he could dance with. Todd nodded to himself and took a sip of his violently green cocktail. Yeah, it was fine, other people were having worse nights. But man, what was in these drinks?
Where Aloysius went he went, especially when it came to places like this. Not that such an issue had presented itself till now, and he was not pleased with it. He did understand it, it made sense, but that didn't mean he liked the idea of collecting energy at a club because Aloysius, being as loyal as he was, would certainly be there to do his duty...despite his issues with alcohol. Liam was here, in an entierly new enviornment, hoping to somehow blend in though dressed as he was there was doubt in his mind over blending in. He felt a bit too dressed up, when compared to those around him, but Aloysius had picked out his clothing and deemed it suitable.
Filled in on the mechanics of this operation he had dutifully taken a glowstick and gave it a twirl. "Come on Aloysius, let's head in." Seeing as he wanted to get this mission underway for the other, let him get to working, he would be following his partner from a distance while he worked. Pressing his lips to the others cheek. "You get to working the crowd, I'll be in the wings watching." Incase he was needed for anything, he knew Aloysius could let him know via the earring set they each wore one of, but he'd like to keep his eye on thigns as well.
“No, you look great, Charlie,” Aiden reassured. “Your outfit suits you a lot, I like it.”
He wasn’t even being facetious; she looked cute and energetic and most importantly, like she was having fun. “I definitely want to come back during the day sometime, let’s plan for it. I was getting a little thirsty so yeah, let’s get a drink. Maybe we can sit by one of the aquariums and watch for a minute. But–you’ve got a friend over there?” he asked.
He didn’t recognize the woman calling out for Charlie but she was looking at her and calling her name. “Do you want to stop by and say hi first?”

René was a bit surprised that the blonde's large family might not be investing in something like this but then again they reminded him of the same old money family that was similar to his own, even if they were exponentially more friendly to one another from what he noticed.
With some glowsticks tucked into his back pocket, he let Alexandre pull him along as they headed further in and he took in the sights of all the artificial sea life, it was pretty as long as it wasn't harmful. But that was what was supposed to be going on tonight right? These glowstick things were supposed to drain without harming people and if the people didn't know because they were having a good time then that was fine.
The only thing that bothered him was that he knew that senshi that'd had her hand in his chest was in here somewhere and he really didn't want to know her opinion on the matter. This was probably the place she usually went to to find people to starseed.
But he shook that thought off as he saw the mass of glow sticks waving on the dancefloor from the mass of people having fun. It was a relief to be honest and he was feeling better about all this as he stood by Alexandre for a bit longer before heading into the crowd. "Have fun mon ange~"
Ohgod-- that was Emilia --- "I didn't actually mean it, Em's! I was just..." the apologetic wince he threw her way for throwing her name in, the whiplash for catching her voice above all that was going on, short lived as it was because Ren suddenly standing, speaking, *leaving*!
"That's not what he meant---" hushed hiss and Waru wished Ren hadn't suggested it that way. Knew that wasn't what Aelius had meant, except maybe he didn't know at all what either man was getting at? Where the quick jabs n light stabs were aimed? ******** if he could puzzle out the crux of why they couldn't stand to be around each other when he could stand them both just fine!
Not that it mattered just then, as his breath left him and Ren left him and he was too sour on the situation to return even the playfulness or gentleness of the silver haired man's parting gesture. The way he wanted to drag them both into a private room and have everything out -- finally -- or die trying!
But maybe that, inherently, was the problem too? The thing he kept doing with people, for people, with his own people. Maybe it was all too much -- maybe he needed to make a ******** choice ******** seethed, quietly, at the loss that felt more and more like his own doing. All the ways he didn't know how to undo it because--because he'd never run into this before. Not really? His friends usually didn't care, his lovers didn't care, his husbands...But Aelius cared, made it known, spoke on all the ways that Ren set the bluenettes hackles off. How the instigations would always become escalations---
Waru almost wanted to remind Aelius that he n Ren were.....
But instead of running the man over with his own mouth n interjecting every rude word that wanted to rise off his tongue. He held it in, kept himself stood still, arms crossed. He let Aelius finish, because that was the right thing to do. He'd handled it all poorly -- both of them -- made his own assumptions -- and Aelius advice suddenly sounded wonderful. A clearly marked exit door with red arrows pointing allllllhhh the way out.
It was better to take it now, to hole up somewhere n lick clean the wounds on his overexuberant ego. He could apologize to Aelius tomorrow -- next week? Whenever he felt he'd cooled off enough that he could have a conversation, a real one, the kind that didn't leave him wanting to -- to be anything other than nice at the moment. Because in all of the world Aelius was someone he badly didn't want to hurt. Worse? To harm. To undo every bit of welcome n scrap of friendship he thought he'd gained with the man by lashing out more.
Even if a small, mean, ugly part of himself wanted to....
"No, s'fair. N'you're right---you've got s**t t'do that's way more important n'me. I'll just....m'sorry about....Whatever, I'll see you later, okay?" turning to leave and head off to where....The fishes. A whole vast, neon-electric scene of exotic underwater creatures lining the walls. Waru thoguht that maybe if he went and stared at the fish it'd make him feel better? He'd always liked the ocean, diving, the sea. Fish and their big empty eyes, or the occasinaly scary smart looking one. It'd been the entire draw of the place for him, more n the Negaverse throwing another party over a crowning achievement. He'd thought it would've been nice to.

"Better that way given this isn't really my sort of place either." And he was very certain he looked a bit stiff as he barely contained his annoyance at seeing people looking like they'd had enough to drink already. Hopefully, the bartender would cut them all off before they ended up at the hospital but at the same time he figured the glow sticks that needed to be given out and retrieved would help dissuade people from staying too long as they tired from being drained.
"A private booth sounds perfect, I'm certain that people will leave the things behind as they wander so we can pick them up without dealing with them too much. I also think it'll be better for your head because they'll probably be quieter than the main areas." That secondary goal of keeping them from getting a migraine was always lingering because it would be hard on them if one hit while they were here.

"I shall, you enjoy yourself as well." Though he already knew Rene would enjoy his time tonight, his partner enjoyed these sorts of places, this was doing his job as an officer with no chance of violence and all the reward for work wrapped up in nice little package which Rene could enjoy. Glowsticks, a collection of unused sticks, poked out of his back pocket as he took a moment to glance baout as Rene joined the mass of bodies on the dance floor.
Turning back towards Rene, just in time to see him vanish into the crowd, Alexandre turned and went to start finding people who needed a new and properly working glowstick...because of course theirs had broken and he would be oh so pleased to give them a new one. Smiling in as friendly a manner as he could the blond set off to get to work, keeping himself around the dance floor but never stepping onto it - he was not getting pulled into that mass of bodies. Here and there he worked people, takign sticks which were no longer working, as he handed out new glow sticks. He was oh so sorry some were no longer working - but he had new ones!

Rolling his eyes he couldn't help but smirk at the other. "I'd say your choice in clothing proves just how much this place isn't your sort of thing." And while this wasn't his sort of place either he fit in a lot better than his partner did. A hand on his hip, weight shifted, he tilted his head a bit. "Shall we get moving then, bar first for drinks than the lounge." Already heading through the lobby so they could get this night started. Putting a slight sway into his step which was normally never there, a collection of unused glow sticks circled a belt bloop at the back of his pants like some charm.
"Not being here would be better for my head but I'm certain that can be handled afterwards, once home, I'm sure you won't mind assisting." Glancing over his shoulder before he vanished amongst the crowd, his shirt shimmering a soft gold, as he headed towards the bar and whoever else was there. A flash of a fang as he smiled at someone in passing, normally he didn't like the stares but it might help tonight to let people stare and approach, he smiled as the person seemed to take a moment to stare before giggling to a friend. It was a nice way to disarm people he supposed...and get them talking, they talked and he could exchange glowsticks. Anything which could break the ice and make things easier for him, because he really did not like socalizing with people.
Closing in on the bar he was certain Lorcan would be behind him...somewhere.

She'd gotten used to being nudged by now but when someone pulled her hair she had half a mind to stomp on whoever's foot for messing things up. But then she heard a familiar voice and turned around.
"Oh wicked, I figured you might come with the cash money they offered ya." Snapping another glowstick herself, she threw it back over her shoulder into the crowd for someone to grab. She figured it was easier than having to directly deal with people and it got the things out there. She still preferred to just sink her hand into those guys at the bar as they sloppily tried to flirt with the women around them. But the rules were clear and she wasn't about to cause a scene inside this club.
"Yeah, the fish are a cool vibe, really like... rave core or whatever? I'm like more for rock or metal but it's definitely working for this crowd yanno?" Fixing her hair a bit, even though it was still half unruly, Morgan was fine just hanging around her roomie instead of interacting with the public.
"Let's just chill and vibe, guess we can pick up the things as they hit the ground yanno?" Low effort with a high reward, just as she preferred. Plus with someone she knew around it might keep some of the weirdos away.

General Chalcanthite Aloysius Sharp Location:Lobby -> heading towards Lounge Dice Roll: 3, 4
Nodding slightly, he felt reassured even as Liam wandered a bit away and let him work. It was easier with them close by even as he smiled that practiced public-facing smile that came with his family. The Sharps were always kind people who helped the community and assisting in a new venture would be good, much as Melody said. He knew it was her usual BS but it worked out and he really didn't focus as much on the social side of things as he had before the Negaverse. This needed to succeed though so he smiled and passed out glowsticks, letting the people know that they could always find more once they started to dim.
He'd been in the middle of gathering a few dimmed ones to return when he saw Akito, alone. "Oh, I see, that I can understand." Looking the man over, he could tell they fit the scene much more than he did. There was a bit of a concern in the back of his mind if things weren't quite alright, this wouldn't do if he wanted to keep his team together. But for now, he'd have to sit and watch, offering advice as the evening went.
"Let us head towards the lounge to hand more out then I plan on wandering the outskirts of the dance floor and looking around a bit." He didn't need to tell Liam, it wouldn't be hard for them to find him in a crowd with how tall he was compared to most of the people here.
The beat of the music almost drowned out Morgan's words but there was enough heard that Kailynne could make out the first part of her roomie's response before she gave a massive smile in reply. Her eyes scanned the dance floor before she chuckled, "one would be a fool to turn down money like that. Not only the incentive drew me out, but also a chance to see just what it is that goes on behind the scenes and how it all comes together."
Her eyes scanned the crowd before she cocked her head to the side in order to observe Morgan for a moment. As she did though she also kept an eye on those that were on the dance floor itself and those moving between the various areas of the club. Her job was to make sure those patrons in the club were enjoying themselves, and to keep the glow sticks flowing freely. At a timid tap on her shoulder she spun around, smile in place, before she readily swapped out a spent glow stick that was thrust at her before handing over two new sticks in replacement.
"I almost am keen to try and enjoy myself while I'm here though," her gaze swung to the lounge before she chuckled and she pointed to one of those that were working behind the counter, "want anything? I'm almost keen to try something new tonight."
Looking over at Aloysius, for a moment, Akito returned his attention to the people around them. Someone, only a few feet off, seemed to be waving out a dark glow stick. "Let me get that first, than the lounge." Nodding his head he hurried over towards the person, apologizing and sounding as bummed out as they obviously must be, he let his voice got super friendly if not a energetic as he offered a new glow stick, he came up with some reason for it to have not lasted as long as it should have. Once that was done he was returning to the others side.
"Clubs have always been my scene..." Shrugging as he kept to the others side, eyes alight as he took in the dance floor and those on the floor dancing. He would be joining them all at some point, there was no doubt in his mind about that, but for the moment he'd follow the taller male at his side. "Drinking, dancing, clubs, all the people...all the bodies close together - Hayate doesn't like it much." Nope, not one bit especially when he was out dancing with other people. He was hoping Aloysius understood the reason for his partners absence tonight, that this wasn't their lack of want to do but rather something else, as he smiled towards the crowd of dancing bodies.
"I'll have him out and about gathering energy with me - no worries."

Sighing he followed along, keeping an eye on Kioshi as they moved through the crowd daily easily. "Well, I don't make a habit of going to the places that provide the most business for an ER over the weekend." But with the glowsticks, he figured some of that might be mitigated as people tired and went home.
Looking over the lounge, really getting a look at the tubes of glowing mechanical jellyfish, he had to do a double take because they almost moved like the real thing. No expense was spared it seemed which meant whatever drinks there were would be better quality he figured. Not that he really drank but he would rather not deal with the rotgut that came from rail alcohol.
His own method was a bit different from Kioshi, his focus was more on picking up the fallen glowsticks when he could or offering to take the dead ones off the patrons' hands as he followed behind Kioshi. It worked out and he had managed to deposit a handful of them behind the bar when he arrived there.
"Drinking won't help avoid things if that's what you were thinking but water will be good for us both."
