Personality:
Elusive and reserved, Isadora believes she has the sight. She tells fortunes for a (kind-of) living. She's empathetic and very attuned to other's emotions. She notices micro-expressions and actions that are often over-looked by others. She can be at times blunt or very evasive depending on who she is speaking to.

She has a lantern fish as a pet, she seldom calls him anything (though his real name is Abner). She collects shells, bones, and many things from the top world. Her cave is deep and dark, often only illuminated with the phosphorescent plankton of Abner's light.

Her ways are cryptic, and old. She is somewhat superstitious with her beliefs. Sometimes, her visions can cause a headache for days.

She is careful with how much of the future she tells or looks to, knowing that it can be a dangerous game to play. She is honest to a fault, though sometimes she may omit things when she decides the information is not necessary.

She is a solitary and sometimes lonely soul, sought for her power. Sometimes, she grows weary of her visions.

Isadora was born with the "sight". She can see what she believes are glimpses of the future and shadows of the past. Her parents were not pleased with what she was, and so they abandoned her at a young age and left her to deal with it on her own.

She traveled the world, enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean until she came to find the bottom of a seaside cliff as her home. It is here that she meets with those who come to ask guidance of her, she offers them a cryptic look into their future and a warning. The future isn't easy, and it isn't always the path that you want it to take.


But no one knows anything about Isadora's early days, only that she showed up one day in a cave close to the shore. Some wonder if that is even her true name, not that it matters. If anyone asks, she only ever smiles.

Meaning of (name): Anor is the Elvish word for the Sun, so literally the flame of Anor would be the light of the Sun, which originated in the fiery fruit of Laurelin, one of the Two Trees of Valinor. Lumen is a unit of time, ie, year etc. Basically, "Year of the Sun" or "Time of the Sun"

Sweet to a fault, he doesn't really do fighting or even know how. He is a peaceful soul who is friendly and kind to everyone, even when he shouldn't be. He has very good manners and often hunts herbs (and other medicines) for his father. He knows a little of healing, but would rather content himself with growing and gathering than the healing arts.



Quirks/Character Traits:
✶ Lumen loves wide open spaces, flowers, and herbs.
✶ He hates confrontation and would rather keep the peace if possible.
✶ Feels guilty about leaving behind his father and sister.

Backstory:

Lumen Anor was born to Nokomis and Arden who came together during a tumultuous storm. Their love however could not last the stealing of their third basket.

And if that had not broken them, Lumen Anor's eventual disappearance as a captive of the Flock would have.

Kuekuatsu was given as a gift by Lumen's beloved Yalei. The Cockatoo is meant to keep him company when Yalei must be away. He carries around a small feather of Yalei's for Lumen.

Together, the two of them practice stories and sweet songs for their lady love, always eager for her return.

Meaning of (name): Means "lady". This was the name of the goddess of love, beauty, war and death in Norse mythology. She claimed half of the heroes who were slain in battle and brought them to her realm of Fólkvangr. Along with her brother Freyr and father Njord, she was one of the Vanir (as opposed to the Æsir). Some scholars connect her with the goddess Frigg.

Freyja is kind, sweet, and knowledgeable. She believe that power comes from one's self and that knowledge is power. Being lead to the truth rather than being told it outright is her practice. She is someone that others come to for advice, because she is intuitive with good reasoning skills.

But don't think that you don't have to work for it, because she won't straight out tell you. You have to figure out the truth as she leads you to it, like a dawning realization rather than a "truth bomb"

A skilled healer who knows there is a time for war and a time for peace.

Backstory:



Freyja would be considered a very, very old soul. Her body may look young but her mind has been filled with more than one lifetime’s worth of memories. She has war. She has seen death. She has seen destruction. And on the other hand she has seen peace, love, acceptance, and more. Within the northern lands above the Kawani she was considered the voice of reason, the one who one would go to in order to find the right path to take. But yet, she won’t just give it to you. She’ll make you work for it a little.

Growing up Freyja always thought that the path of healing was her calling. From a young age she took to the healers, learning from them the art of physical healing and the art of psychological healing. But to Freyja’s young mind, she thrived most in healing others with her words. She grew up in the age where there were no Asmodian’s and Elyos. There was one great herd. One great gathering of soquili. And through her dedication to her craft Freyja became one of the most sought after young healers, showing great promise.

However, the mare’s talents would soon be tested to the extreme. The herds of Drakan cast a dark shadow over the northern lands. Having tired of their role as protectors of the once united Elyos and Asmodians. War barely knocked on the great herd’s doorstep before bloodshed poured into the valleys and mountains. Death and destruction becoming the norm for the great herd, great loss was felt across the northern lands they all called home. And Freyja and her team of aspiring healers quickly became a desperate need of the many.

The young Freyja became an adult in the middle of war. Her childhood ending prematurely as the Mellennium War came into full swing. The Empyrean Lords, the ruling government of soquili, took note of the hippogryph mare during the war. Her drive and knowledge of healing saving many a soquili. To Freyja, nothing was too great a request. She bent over backwards to help heal and protect those who needed it most. And soon the Lords began requesting her presence during tactical meetings, giving her more and more say as the war raged on. Because of her abilities, she became one of the first of the chosen warriors that the Empyrean Lords called Daeva.

Through her and the other early Daeva warriors, the Great Herd began pushing back the Drakan, who had now began calling themselves Balaur. And through the guidance and expertise of their Empyrean lords, the war was beginning to turn in their favor. Battle after battle Freyja would be side by side with her comrades in arms, fighting and healing. Unfortunately she could not have forseen the carnage that was soon to come.

Freyja was one of the few survivors of the Epic Cataclysm that rocked the northern lands. She was asked to accompany the twelve great lords to a peace summit within the central mountainside that stood as the center point of the entire herd lands. She was present when the betrayal came. She saw the deaths of the two leaders of the Empyrean Lords. She saw the massive rockslides and fires that came with it. Her friends, family, comrades, majority killed as the Balaur has decimated everyone at the summit. She saw the Great Herd split into two warring factions: one calling themselves Elyos, the other side calling themselves Asmodian. It caused her great pain.

Time went by, Freyja took residence with the Asmodian herds, offering her services as counselor and healer to anyone who asked. On both sides she was considered an anomaly, a rarity among the herds. Elyos and Asmodian alike saw her a someone to respect. And Freyja would go between the two sides, even if the now splintered Empyrean Lords did not like it. Freyja did not care for taking sides.

So, more time passed. Freyja watched as the two sides began warring more with each other than the Balaur herds. Each side blaming each other for the losses the Epic Cataclysm created. The Asmodian herds, lead by the now called Shedim Lords, asked her to be a counselor to their people, to usher in a new generation of warriors and healers. Seeing no other choice, as the request came directly from the Arc Lord Azphel, Freyja agreed.

Eventually Freyja met the early family members who would become Matania’s family line. Most were healers rather than warriors. And she became close them, seeing them as her own family. For once in a long time she felt more at peace. They had brought a comfort to her that she hadn’t felt in a long, long time. She helped bring Matania and her siblings into the world. Became the Godmother to each of them. And offered her guidance in their upbringing.

When Matania grew into the talented young gladiator Freyja was elated, and felt intense sorrow when she was exiled. But something didn’t sit well with the young one’s exile as a whole. Freyja helped Mataius and his warriors take down the darkness of Tiamat, casting the Balaur Dragon Lord into the stone prison, incapable of being escaped from. And yet the nagging thought that something wasn’t right plagued Freyja’s mind as the years pass by. Never could she pinpoint the exact source of the tension.

One night Freyja dreamed, and during that dream the darkness of Tiamat escaped from her prison. It was during that night of the dream that Tiamat escaped from the stone prison in a large explosion, killing many. The Dragon Lord’s intent of going to to the Kawani lands and destroying it. It was then that Freyja knew her services were needed again. In that same night Freyja slipped out of the northern lands called Atreia and headed south, knowing that Matania would need to be informed and need her guidance.

Now Freyja searches for Matania in the Kawani lands, hyperaware that the Dragon Lord will stop at nothing morph the earth they live upon into a world of darkness and despair, intent on revenge over Freyja’s young charge. Freyja does not know the extent of the feud between Matania and Tiamat, however, any feud with one of the Dragon Lords is enough to worry the soul of a mare who has seen and lost so much.
