Well, my school has a uniform. But tomorrow's the first alternate dress day! So, I'm wearing a more subtle lolita dress. I can't go all out because my principle hates alternate dress day. I'll step it up for the next one!

I never wore lolita at school because I didn't know about it then (I had no internets!). Otherwise I would have made tons of loli clothes in my clothing and textiles class. Also, we had a uniform biggrin
On the yearly or bi-yearly mufti (no uniform) day I wore nice comfy man clothes biggrin And then there was a guy in the corridor wearing the same top as me. Embarrassing, since I am female! No-one noticed though *whew*
I loved my whole schooling career. I wasn't really teased much, except for intermediate (middle) school when I got my first glasses. Huge and purple. Picking glasses is hard when you can't see how they look on you! biggrin It didn't bother me much though because I had lots of nice friends that I had kept since kindergarten and am still friends with today smile

The girls in my school don't say anything. No one does.
Perhaps they expected the outcast to be that strange... Though I'd like to say I'm not the outcast anymore, but everyone's just too narrow-minded to make more friends.
Anyway, I haven't gotten a negative response. The only positive responses are from those weird old cranky granny teachers no one likes.

I haven't worn it to school yet because i'm new but I'm slightly afraid. My friends will accept me and if not I'll just smack em. xp However I think I would be fine after the first few times of wearing it. Just enough time to get people used to it and just enough for the comments to slow down. At least the mean ones

Well, I have worn it to school, and you get many weird looks. You get used to it, however. And then it isn't so bad. You get the rude comments, but it's to be expected. I'm sure everyone's gotten rude comments even when NOT wearing lolita.
It's not the people I have a problem with. It's my petticoat. ;__; That darn thing flattens so easily by the end of the day, with sitting down, getting up, siting again, and then getting up....It's really quite tedious. So I lean to not wear loli at school. Too complicated. But I'm going to wear my top Hat to school one day, I hope heart

It's been a while since I've posted to this guild but I just started wearing lolita to school. It didn't seem to be too bad but then a friend told me that alot of people are making fun of me. XP I don't care though! I don't care what they say. Lolita makes me happy and I'm never going to stop being Lolita just because some idiots make fun of me. I can't let them win! The preps can wear they Holister, the emo kids can wear their tight pants, the rednecks can wear their hunting gear, so why shouldn't I be able to wear lolita?

Well on my first day of school this week.
There were these two obnoxious boys. And I say obnoxious boys because they were obviously in middle school trying to act cool and get into Santa Monica High. Which I think was just stupid.
They were playing the typical fight punch the other kid cuss outloud and still try to be cool, which was just annoying the crap out of everyone else waiting in the bus because they kept on "accidentally" bumping into everyone.
Okay enough of my rant about them.
So one of the busses comes over and I have to kinda dash to the bus because it was kinda to a point where people have to run to even get a seat or else we'd be standing.
The two boys mocked me saying "oh shes gonna run with her hands up in the air like a little princess"
They even made rude remarks with their hands. I just ignored them. Everyone else was annoyed with them.
At least I got my bus seat and they were standing near the door because there was no more room for people to get in.

i wore lolita to school today ^_^ my friend and i actually.
everyone thought that we were dressed up AS something. which annoyed me and i kept trying to explain that it isnt supposed to look like anything...just like a t-shirt or pair of jeans arent supposed to look like anything.
one guy said it was kinky O.o i was so confused. another girl saw me and laughed over-dramatically in my face, while her friend said, "dude, its not funny. i think she looks really cute." another guy pointed and laughed at me and my friend and we pointed and laughed back. we said, "haha, hes wearing clothes too!" another guy gave us a look that was totally disgusted. and hearing random people behind me say really loudly, "GOD, why would you DO that to yourself!?" and "well i would NEVER wear that." and all the glares.
really, is it that big of a deal? is what someone else wears really going to effect YOUR life?
then i got a lot of, "oh, you look so cute today amy." "you look like a doll." "you look like strawberry shortcake." etc, etc, etc... a person of the male gender even said he liked it on me. because usually i wear all black or dark colors and today i was wearing all pink.
idk. i take compliments worse than insults. i laugh at insults...i cringe at compliments.

@Rainbow cat FACE: Lol. I don't like compliments that much either. Not to say I like insults either, but at least with insults, I can insult them back or have a reason to hate them. I just prefer to not to be the thing everyone's staring at in general. They all judge. D: Silly people.
Well, if I owned any lolita at the moment I'd wear it outside of school. However, I'd be pretty comfortable with wearing casual lolita to school.

Lolita is extremely hard to pursuade people to enjoy in public environments, I've tried it, and some approve while others don't.

For the first time in a long time, I decided to wear lolita to school. And it was great. biggrin A lot of people said they liked it, and I got so many nice compliments.
But the one thing that made me so happy was that I learned that two of my aquaintances knew about the fashion! They said I pulled it off, and I looked absolutely adorable. :] All of ym friends said that I looked absolutely adorable and told me to dress in lolita more often! biggrin DDD
