Well it's no secret by now that my computer crashed and I lost all my memory. All the aim rp's with Cody I think have already been posted into here aside from like two between Sniper and myself. Kind of a shame but that's what I get for not backing up my files or posting them in here sooner. I also lost the psd files for Cody's layout but I think I might be able to work around that for updating his relations and adding some new artwork to the scrapbook. There's a few of them. xd He's just too much fun to pick on.

Anyway, I have the internet now through my laptop so I should be able to pick up the pace with rping again. Just let me know, I'm up for RP anytime! I am hoping to get a new job by Monday, I'll have to drop my classes this term to do it but it'll be well worth it in the long run. Here's hoping!

Wild and rowdy, there's never a dull moment around the bull boy. He's got a short attention span with anything that he's convinced himself against. Unfortunately this includes reading, writing, or sitting still. He loves to play outside, loves to go out and meet new people and show off. He's got a good heart despite everything and hasn't made any enemies among the other children though a few times he's been annoyed or frustrated. He hates to be reminded of his... lack of book wise intelligence. He loves to play and rough-house, he's always looking for a good playful fight and doesn't at all seem to mind getting banged up a bit.

A bit older now, Cody's grown far more bold in stating his opinion or skirt-chaising. Paxton and Keanu stand as his best friends and the three have recently got themselves involved in quite a bit of trouble. All three of them have lasting effects from the attack on D-corp. Cody's lost his right eye and for the moment he's having a difficult time adjusting to having his vision impared. He's bound and determined to strengthen himself and improve his aim with a pellet gun that he's been allowed to have. He's almost addicted to working himself out at the gym- spending hours on end in the weight room. He's still deathly afraid of water and still can't swim at all. Currently, he's starting to hit puberty- and that in and of itself is raising a few....issues.

Winter is a pretty typical person. No exciting childhood to speak of, no traumatic experiences that've left her scarred for life, no amazing adventures that have given her any kind of reputation. She was born the oldest of a family of 4 children (Three girls and a boy), and two loving parents. She lived at home way longer than expected, dragged slowly through college, worked common low-paying jobs, and finally got settled into an apartment. That is, after D-corp offered her one. Winter was told at a young age that she very well could be sterile. That fact aside, she's never been in a relationship and that little fact hardly seems to have any chance of changing. She did, however, want a child. When D-corp offered her a child, place to stay, and the funds to keep the child healthy- it was nothing short of a long-desired oppertunity.

She eventually adopted a few more children. Edan, who had his guardian taken from him at a young age, the jivvin, Rillian, and Amir- a poke'mon hybrid from a similar laboratory on gaia. Thankfully, D-corp provided a large enough housing facility for the growing family. She keeps in close contact with her sister, Summer, who also jumped at the same oppertunity that Winter had been given through D-Corp.

Profile:
Edan is the black sheep of his kind. Ironically enough, his life started when his spirit awoke in the form of a sheep plushie with very little stuffing. A pathetic attempt at a child's companion, Edan was always a little different from the other cortlins. While life began the same way for each of them, his was a bit different. He never met any of his kinsmen, as he was dumped out as a failed attempt before he came to life. Instead, he awoke in a flourist shop sitting on a dusty counter. The kindly shop owner, Pelinore, cared for him, gave him stuffing of sawdust, and sewed up his belly.

Edan eventually escaped his stuffed animal shell, much to Pelinore's surprise, and began helping out with the small business. His personal touch and attention to detail began drawing in customers who would find themselves returning time and again during the appropriate seasons. Unfortunately, Pelinore grew ill during the winter, leaving Edan to manage the shop alone. It was a battle the man wouldn't win. Edan was orphaned and left with the flouriest. He was adopted soon after by Winter. While her welcome was a warm one, he hardly received such a greeting from his adopted brother, Cody.

Edan's an odd one among the Cortlins, mainly because he's attracted to the opposite sex, but because his list of phobias leaves many people offended or aching from laughter.

He means well...he really does...but he's going about it in a questionable manner. 'Yeah I'm an artist of some sort. It's a way to unwind after a long day at the cafe' and I'm always looking for new stuff to doodle. Anyway, I'm sure that there's other artists running around D-corp. Might be interesting for us to exchange doodles of our kids sometime. Just hit me up and we'll arrange something. I'll slap up all exchanges here in case they get lost on your end. Someone's gotta stay organized.'

A lil' dragon named Tex.
Tex is my dragon, bettern' any horse them cowboys ride on TV. Jus' yew wait, he's gonna be th' best copper this side of Gaia.

Tex jus' as a little egg. I went an' saw 'em when he was still like this. I called 'em 'Omelette' while 'e was in there but long decided his "fer-real" name would be Tex. It's tough an' I bet all th' dragons'll be jealous of 'em. I didn't know how tah take care of an egg an' all. Peri took care of that I reckon... or the folks down at D-corp. 'e took much longer tah hatch than some of th' other ones but it's no biggie, jus' means 'e was sleepin'. Nothin' wrong with sleepin' in.












Tex hatched on May 6, 2007. Right after dat Cinco de Mayo thin... kinda odd people go an' name a day after somethin' ya spread on sandwiches n' steamed veggies. No matter, he's bettern' I thought he'd be. Stole th' ketchup. Edan got all mad but he needed an excuse tah try mustard anyway. Seems 'e likes it well enough. I'll jus' tell everyone that he's too young fer pretty boy blood.
