((Part 2! The aftermath of part 1! ))
A certain orange eared male sat silent in the front passanger side of the car. He was more than a little pissed. He'd received a call. At work. He had to come right then. And it was for something he hated to begin with.
Keanu's obsession with fighting villains. "Alan you mock me even fro the grave." He muttered under his breath as he massaged a temple with one hand. Why on earth did that child have to try hunting down suicidal bombers who had just last month tried to kill them all? Why... WHY!?
He just blamed it on Alan. Alan and his crazy 'let's train those kids for fighting!' thing. That had to be it.
Besides Raja Tai-Yun was driving the car, only half informed as to why they needed to go right that minute. Raja had been banned from driving a while back and the whole 'NO DRIVING' thing hadn't been lifted. So he was stick being the transportation at the moment. He just hoped the back was big enough for two dragons to be stuffed in. Naito was mooching a ride afterall.
The vehicle itself was begin enough usually. It even made the soccer mom's jealous. The reason for it? They just 'couldn't' leave Ymir behind. Ever. That and having kids meant a need for something large. So a suburban it was. Big, emerald green, and it had a few scratches and dings from various happenings. But repsectable enough.
And it had gotten them to D-Corp quickly enough. "Wait in the car." The man mumbled as he shoved himself out of the car to head for D-Corp. Time to pick up his son.

The whole car ride Naito had been asleep. It wasn't exactly bed time yet...but for the past couple of days, the woman’s schedule had been off track. She had been busy, busy with...things. She wasn't happy at being woken, up. In fact when she had gotten the phone call she nearly ripped poor Alexander's hand off when he tried to hand her the phone.
...And that was just the first call. The second call had been much, much, worse. All that could be said was that good thing Alexander didn't bruise so easily.
"Why can't I let him bail his own a** out of this one?" Naito had sleepily said as the car pulled into the drive way and Raja opened the door for her. Oh it wasn't that she would leave Paxton there overnight...it would have just been a while before she got around to getting him.~
A little jolt and the blonde girl opened her eyes, "Raja--" pause for a yawn, " wait for meee..." with a jump out of her seat, Naito waved a 'Thanks' to Tai-yun, and then tried to catch her way up to the feline in her fluffy heals.
No. She hadn't bothered to put on a proper set of clothes over her short nightgown. Thank god it was cold enough that she cared to throw on a black P-coat over the white lacy thing.

Why her? Of all days...
Winter glanced back, cheking her mirrors as the silver bug pulled into the parking space. Friday! -Black- Friday to be more precise. She'd quit her job at the cafe` the moment she'd beem offered a more sanity-friendly job at a local pet and supply store. Nothing big and really nothing compared to what the bigger retail stores like clothing and toy stores must have been going through, but still close enough. She'd gotten the call on her lunch break and had to play phone tag long enough to find someone to come in and cover her shift, fortunately they were training a new employee to her department so they were already working with three people when normally there'd only be two- since it was slower than they expected they allowed her to go.
The breaks were set on and the music died as the car was shut off. Winter stepped out and raked her fingers through her dusty brown hair, tucking a hand down into one of the pockets of her old forest green coat...both pockets really had no bottom and she told herself time and again that she'd fix that but never got around to it. Many said that the coat looked like an old rag but she just couldn't find it in herself to part with the old thing. It was comfortable and she'd not been able to find a replacement.
The woman tapped the button on her keys, earning a 'buoeep-beep!' from the bug as it locked the doors. Nifty little thing.
She glanced over to the other parents approaching, slowly raising an eyebrow. Good to know her kid wasn't alone in raising hell.

Did he really feel like listening to a whine like that right now? Not really "Naito, let us pretend we're normal for one moment." He managed to say before storming into the reception area.
Well there was Ymir. It was hard to miss the large white creature who was sitting slightly subdued by the couch where Paxton and Keanu had been propped up in their slumber. Joy.
He scanned the area to spot a third child, this one some sort of cow. Right,he was stuffed in a chair and out like a light too. So this was the trio that had been sneaking around. "I can't believe he drug other children into this too..." He muttered under his breath as he gave the person who was obviously in charge a look.
"He didn't manage to break anything did he?" Because that happened at the house sometimes.

"But Raja..." Naito mumbled with half a hand over her mouth. God, getting the sleepies out of your system was difficult... "We are normal." She meant it with all of the deepest sincerity. It only took one look at her dress to make one realize that she was probably crazy for thinking that.
And if her choice of dress didn't suggest it, her action when she saw her son most certainly did. "Youstupidsonofabitch," Slip, slide, run--she practically fell flat on her face trying to get to Paxton as fast as possible. "Ugh--" She huffed regaining from her bought of imbalance. Ok, ok...everything was fine and" --MORON!" Smack went a hand across her son's face. The boy remained out cold. But that didn't matter, Naito was simply getting out some pent-up aggression at being woken up.
"I" smack, "can't" smack, "belive you woke me up!" There went another one across the face. Allowing Naito to recieve a few worried looks from the techs around and one long head shake from Raja.

Winter glared as she approached where the children were laying. For one, she was angry at Cody. He knew better than to scamper off without telling her, especially when it was dangerous. Secondly, it was almost sick how they'd kind of been dumped off onto the chairs. Cody had his head back snoring loudly...typical.
The sound of sharp slapping jarred her from her throughts. Her eyes went wide...was she actually watching that woman smack her unconcious kid around?! She averted her eyes sharply and stormed herself over to her own child, slowly brushing the hair from his face. Thank God he was alright though... "What am I going to do with you?"

The tech was the plain female that had joined 144 earlier, however 144 had been.. releived of his duties for that day. A bit too stressed out, it seemed.
She had greeted the three mothers-er.. 2 mothers... D-corp never had asked about the sudden change, course they probably sent some spy to figure it out for them by now. Who knew. "Sorry to have to call you all here but, well, as we said on the phone.." She gave a small shrug, looking to raja first as a question met her. "Ah.. Well, they managed to crack and put a hole, well two, through one of our doors.." She jumped as Naito started in on the poor sleeing lovebird, "Ah!" Eyes went wide, as she hurried over to try and intervene "Miss Naito... our technician said Paxton was the most wellbehaived, And they're all tranquilized, he won't wake up for another halfhour." She swallowed, glancing now to the last parent to see if she had anything she needed.

Raja sighed slightly at the reply he got. Not to much damage. Though... He stopped to give Naito a look that said 'you seriously need help' before alking over to check on his own child. Half an hour. Great.
"You are so grounded." He wasn't sure for how long, but he'd figure it out in the next half an hour. Similar to Winter he quickly brushed a few stray bangs out of the leopard's face before glancing at Ymir. "You too. You can't let Keanu do things like this." He mumbled toward the dragon before returning to making sure Keanu hadn't managed to hurt himself in the games.
Why on earth did his son have to want to save everyone anyway? Yes, it was noble, yes he should be proud. But he wasn't. He'd rather know his son was safe at home with a jigsaw puzzle, not out being shot at. Today it was just a tranquilizer, but what about next week? Next month? Who was to say what someone who he deemed bad would come after him with.
He was chasing murderers afterall.
He sighed, shaking his head as he finished brushing Keanu's hair into place and once more turned to the hybrid dragon. "Come on, time to help me carry him to the car." He mumbled. Keanu wasn't exactly a little kid anymore.
Not an adult. Not ready to save the world. But he wasn't the little boy that had ended up on Raja's doorstep either. Not anymore.

The woman was about to lay another one on her child before the tech interrupted. Geeze, these people, they acted as if she were beating the idiot to death, what did it matter if she laid a couple on him while he was asleep? Not like he would be feeling it now. So what did it hurt?
Ugh. Even Marigold had pitifully tugged onto the back of Naito's nightgown and seemed to be urging for some small cry of sanity.
Glancing to her side, Naito gave the tech a sort of glare, "Oh really? ..." back to Paxton her blue eyes fell. With a leer inwards Naito, gave one last look over the sleeping boy’s face before pulling away. "You got lucky this time--" one more quick smack on the cheek and she retreated from the sleeping child. "Jerk." Huffily, the woman folded her arms across her chest. "...Let go Marigold," with a waving hand, the woman tried to chase the gold Dragon from further chewing on her skirt.
Good thing Paxton would be light to carry to the car.

Winter groaned at the mention of the holes. Yeah...two holes. That was Cody's doing. She was getting quite good with home improvement once he figured out he could smash holes in his own door whenever he was grounded... the time he'd attacked Kat he'd been sent to his room for a night and had managed to make it look much like a six-dotted domino- which effectively fell like one once he was finished with it. They were only wood afterall.
"How much is it going to cost to repair damages?" She sighed, tugging a bit at one of Cody's horns, kind of jarring his head upright from being lauled back. She'd had thoughts of sawing them down... but he was training to be a soldier of some sorts.
