Destiny City is flourishing with life, love, and happiness and it seems like they’re determined to make this year the best ever. The city has seen unprecedented damage and hardships in previous years, and the city is doing its best to pull together and support the community.
Numerous charities and benefits have already popped up, but to celebrate Valentine’s Day in grand fashion, the city has teamed up with local artists to support an array of local causes.
A large event hall has been completely decorated to host the Crystal Hearts Gallery, promising a breathtaking trip through a crystal garden, a heart-stirring gallery, and a meal to please all palates at the end.
Players can participate in some civilian prompts to earn a ticket for our raffle, where they have a chance to win some beautiful civilian art or other prizes!
The event will be open from now until Sunday, February 11th at about 6PM EST.

Rules and Information
Prompts will take place at a Destiny City Event Hall and participation is completely optional! You do not have to participate in any of these RPs unless you want to, and you will not miss any meta opportunities by skipping it. However, participation is the only way to earn event related prizes!
Characters can participate as powered or civilian; these prompts are free to play with. You may choose to use the prompt as inspiration for a roleplay; it does not need to follow the prompt exactly but it must be clearly inspired by or related to it in some way! Only civilian characters should actually be at the Event Hall, but powered characters might reference it in roleplay. The Event Hall should not be used as a backdrop for battles or powered shenanigans.
If you are a new player who is interested in joining, please remember that you can get your first civilian character for free! Information can be found here! If you need help setting up a profile, you can PM The Space Cauldron and we'll be able to work with you!
Ticket opportunities will only be open from now until ~6 PM EST on Sunday, February 11th; the raffle will be rolled afterwards. Players can only earn one ticket for the raffle and only need to write 500 words to any themed prompt to earn a ticket.

Ticket Opportunities and RP Prompts
Ticket Opportunities
Tickets can be earned from writing an RP or solo that uses any of the event themed prompts below. Roleplays or solos do not need to be finished but players must write at least 500 words to earn a ticket.
Players can earn one ticket for the raffle. If you want to write for a prompt for requirements, or just for fun, that’s fine! To claim a ticket, you will need to fill out the following code and post it in this thread!

Prompts
All prompt responses must be posted in the Event subforum and can be written as a solo, a regular, or a battle (if applicable!). These should be labeled [Event-S], [Event-R], or [Event-B]. If you roleplay a disposable, these will not count towards any growth requirements for them, but if you are roleplaying with someone who has a disposable, it can still count for growth for your official character. To be eligible for any prizes, you must write at least five hundred words per roleplay. You should include the prompt you are using in the first post of the RP or Solo. The roleplay does not have to be finished to count towards a prize (unless otherwise stated) but it will need to be finished before it can be used for growth requirements. While these events are written so that you only need a civilian to participate, you can play a powered character! Please just review the above rules for information about playing powered characters for this event.
Please remember--prompts are meant to be inspirations for your roleplays. You do not have to follow them completely, but the roleplay or solo should be obviously inspired by or related to the prompt you are using. The locations described below are designed to take place in The Event Hall - An expensive venue, rented to the City for free ‘for a good cause’ and to get some free promotion to showcase its new renovations. The only entrance to the event is through the reception at the front. This, like all other parts of the Event Hall, seems crafted to perfection and designed with grandeur in mind. The Crystal Hearts Gallery Event is hosted here ICly from January 27th to February 11th, where it is open to the public to visit. If you have a character who is an artist, photographer, chef, or small business owner, please see the post below about how they might have contributed to the event!

The Tickets (1): Entrance to the Crystal Hearts Gallery is $50 per person, or $75 per couple however there have been a surprising number of businesses, big and small, offering free tickets. These can be won through raffles, games, loyalty programs, promotions, or just by being in the right place at the right time. Even if you hadn’t planned on going, can you really turn down a free trip like this? Access to an exclusive venue, a scenic trip through a crystal garden, an art gallery, and a free buffet? Not to mention the advertised lottery program, where just showing up grants you a ticket to win a souvenir. Plus, vendors–just in case you wanted something a little extra special for Valentine’s Day? The Crystal Heart Gallery claims to be for a good cause–all proceeds are going towards Destiny City charities. The event is open from 10AM to 10PM so there’s plenty of time in the day to visit.

The Crystal Garden (2): The Crystal Garden takes up the majority of the Event Hall and is an expansive collection of hand crafted crystal flowers created specifically for this event. The garden is impressive and magical; while there is little effort to make identical replicas of the flowers used for inspiration, each cut of crystal seems to capture the light and make the flowers glow. Many of the flowers are easy to recognize and are true to life in size and shape, but there are sections of the garden with flowers that come in fantastical sizes and shapes. It feels like stepping into another world. During the daytime, the natural light from the glass windows and sunroof makes it easy to see fine details, and when the sun goes down, the artificial lighting spreads beautiful rainbow prisms across the ground and walls. No matter what time of day you visit the garden, you’re guaranteed a beautiful sight. There are several locations specifically designed for photographs you can take on your own, but the venue has also hired professional photographers to help you capture yourself in the moment. Contributing artists are credited along the back wall, and if players have characters with glass or crystal skills they are permitted to have donated to the display. If your character is a professional photographer, you can also play them as employed at the venue.

The Gallery (3): Beyond the Crystal Garden is an art gallery, decorated with an array of beautiful pieces of art meant to captivate and enchant. Most of the pieces on display are available for purchase, if you’re willing to pay for an original. Some have only been loaned to the gallery, but all of the pieces were specifically selected for the event. It’s hard to tell what the theme might have been, but somehow there is a cohesiveness about every piece. It’s easy to get lost in the work, especially because of the emphasis that these are all local artists who have used Destiny City as the source of their inspiration. Some artists have made prints or photographs available in the gift shop. Proceeds are advertised as being split between the artist and a charity of their choice. Contributing artists are credited along the back wall, and if players have characters with any artistic skill, they can include that their submission was accepted into the gallery. Sculptures, paintings, and photography have all been accepted.

The Buffet (4): A lengthy walk through the Crystal Garden and the Art Gallery must have worked up quite an appetite. Thankfully, the event has an amazing catering team. The buffet is regularly replenished and filled with all sorts of food meant to please every guest. Ingredients are posted near every dish to ensure no accidental allergies, and all meals are prepared with safety and care. A few local restaurants have volunteered recipes or are preparing their specialties; if there’s a meal you liked, you may be able to find it at your next favorite local restaurant! Contributing chefs are credited with their meal, and if players have characters that work in any restaurant or are available for catering, they can include that their meals are offered in the buffet.

The Shops (5): If you’re looking for thoughtful, heartfelt gifts to commemorate your day or just gifts for someone (or yourself!) you don’t need to go far. A large, indoor vending space is set up with a great array of local shops willing to spend their time here. There’s such a great array of things to find here–all handmade or locally sourced and owned. Jewelry, accessories, outfits, candles, cards, sweets, home decor–there’s a little bit of everything, just waiting to find a new home. Take some time to appreciate the sales, and get some good deals while you’re here! The Event is also selling an array of special memorabilia where proceeds go towards their list of charities; you can purchase crystal flowers like those from the Garden. Local vendors are all permitted to attend! Tables are a low $100 each and up to three can be purchased for a single shop.

The Lottery (6): You don’t have to spend money to leave with something amazing! Every ticket holder receives one lottery ticket to exchange for a random prize from their vast assortment. When you exchange your ticket on the way out, you might win a chance at a crystal flower (any color or design), $25 gift cards donated by local businesses, free meals donated by local restaurants, free classes donated by art studios, tickets donated for local events, or tickets to come back to the gallery on another day. Smaller prizes, like glass jewelry, paperweights, suncatchers, windchimes, or little glass figures are more common but anything’s possible! If you don’t like the prize you won, you can always buy another ticket for $15. You can choose the prize your character wins! Please do not use a player owned business or location without permission, but feel free to be as lucky (or unlucky) as you like!

The Glass Blowing Class (7): Were you captivated and inspired by the art you saw already? A complimentary glass blowing workshop has been offered by some local artisans. Located next door to the Crystal Heart Gallery, if you have a ticket stub from the event you can stop by to partake in one of their classes, where they’ll teach you how to make a glass blown ornament/bauble, a wine glass, or a set of glass beads. All classes are beginner friendly and you will be gently guided through the process. You keep what you make, and you’re encouraged to bring a friend! Classes are hosted every hour on the hour.

Raffle Prizes
Everyone is eligible to win an art prize! If you are at or over the Character Cap Limit, you can enter for civilian art for existing or new character! Please see below for more information! Some of these semi-premade civilians may reappear with recolors or edits in future events!
Other prizes in the raffle pool will include Crown Tokens, Growth Items, and IC RP Items.
IC RP ITEMS
These IC RP Items are designed to give your character a one time ability. These are not limited edition and have been permanently added to our list of purchasable IC RP Items. Like other single use IC RP Items, these will only cost 1 Crown Token to purchase.

Charming Essential Oil - A small glass vial of pleasant smelling essential oil. This tiny vial of essential oil has enough liquid in it for a single use. The glass vial can come in an array of colors but the liquid inside is always clear. It has a familiar, soothing smell that cannot quite be described but is well-liked by any who encounter it. The liquid can be applied to skin or worn fabric and can somewhat soothe the wearer, but anyone within a five foot radius may find themselves feeling more amiable and friendly. It cannot force friendliness, but it can cool tempers and make it easier to find the wearer more charming. The effects last for about half an hour at a time before the magic wears off. The glass vial will always smell faintly of the oil after long after the magical effects have faded; it can be kept as a memento.
PERMANENT ACCESSORIES
These are a special type of IC RP Item that do not expire upon use! A player will be able to win these in events or purchase them for 3 Crown Tokens! These are a permanent edition to the shop! Each character can only earn one of each item, and items are non transferable from character to character or player to player. There is no limit to how many a player can acquire, so long as they have enough characters to give them to! These items may be owned by civilians, but not all of the items may be usable by civilians. If you have questions about how a civilian may use one of the below items, please contact The Space Cauldron before purchasing one for them so we can answer any questions!

Article of Clarity - An ancient piece of jewelry customized by the player The Article of Clarity will take the form of any wearable piece of jewelry the player likes, either a ring, bracelet, necklace or earrings (or other jewelry with staff approval), but it will always be set with a black gemstone. The Article of Clarity can be activated for ten minutes per day and can be used to detect things that might have otherwise been missed. In any staff run roleplay hosted by The Space Cauldron, this can be used once per RP to get extra information by closely inspecting something, or to detect things about a character, item, or location that might have otherwise been missed. In individual RPs, this item can be used to see through falsehoods, sense someone’s true emotion, or tell when they are lying with player permission, only; the article cannot determine what a truth might be, it can only detect when there is a lie. Effects may not carry over to player run events and is at the discretion and decision of the player host. The item is non-transferable and can only be worn by the player who claims it. It can be worn and used as a civilian, or when powered up.
While these all have a basic design, the items can have slightly varying appearances between characters to better fit aesthetics! Permanent Accessories can go on a character’s official shop art, but please make sure you work with your artist so it matches the description!
ICly these items can be acquired in different locations depending on which faction your character is in! Most commonly, Senshi can find them on their Homeworld, Knights on their Wonder, Dark Mirror Senshi in Mirrorspace, and Negaverse Agents in Negaspace/the Rift. These items may be found in Destiny City as well but would be found in uncommon situations or locations. If you have a plot where your character acquires it in a different fashion, please send a PM to The Space Cauldron to discuss it!
These items cannot be taken apart or repurposed for other means; they are all magically based and seem to be constructed of components that are hard to identify, making them impossible to replicate.
Winning Procedures
After the tickets have been compiled into a list, rolling will begin after ~6 PM EST on Sunday, February 11th! Everyone will be rolled for a prize. This will be done publicly, in this thread, and winners will have 72 hours to send a preference list to the shop mule, The Space Cauldron. If a winner does not contact the mule by that time, they will forfeit their slot and another winner will be rolled! Once a player is rolled, all of their tickets will be pulled from the ticket list; you can only be rolled once! You cannot swap places with another player in this raffle. Players who are over Character Cap cannot win new powered art in the raffle, but they can win Civilian outfits. Players who are on cooldown can still win new art; prizes won in the raffle do not go on any character cooldown.

City Heart - A sketch of a florists shop front in the height of summer. The little shops big front windows say florist Shop and in planters in front of the windows is a plethora of different flowers and grenery. A light post sit just off to the side and a striped awning fills the top portion of the sketch. Touch of Earth - Sketch of a community garden tucked alongside two brick buildings. If you look closely different vegetables and fruits can be identified such as tomatoes, beans of some sort, carrots and lettuces. The venue has been very fortunate to have some passionate musicians willing to help create a peaceful, pleasant environment. Volunteering their time and skill, they can be found intermittently throughout the event, and different musicians may appear on different days or times. Musicians may be found on the far end of the gallery, in the dining hall, or in the vendor's room depending on the performance. Character Description -Massive, Perpetually Angry, Wearing his special Valentine's mask (it has a little heart on the forehead!) and a cupid costume, the wings not so much taken off, as gripped with rage and torn to pieces, leaving a large amount of feathers on the ground around the table. Shop Information - They're offering free "Love Meter" tests, along with discounted couple packages for the Sample Street Studio, where Don Diablos teaches self defense classes. The Love Meter: A very cute set of rococo table and chairs with a large metal heart with an LCD screen at the center of the table. There's a set of finger clips for couples to put on, and then they're asked to hold hands while the machine "reads their compatibility levels." If someone is alone (or just asks for the fun of it) they can sit down and have their compatibility read with Don Diablos as well. Additional Information - Don Diablos is a notorious local heel wrestler, now semi-retired, and is an easily recognizable figure for those native to Destiny City. The Love Meter: Each person rolls 1d100.
