For all that Destiny City had changed, a single solitary hill just on the city's outskirts was the same as he remembered. The city lights danced on the horizon. They were far enough away that they didn’t risk being found by ordinary people, but near enough that the sounds of the city could still be heard from the stillness of the hill. A hexagonal dome, nearly invisible to the human eye, stretched atop the hill. It was a little over two stories tall and, up close, appeared to have foggy glass panels that completely distorted the image inside. More than that, if anyone approached it without invitation it had an almost dizzying effect and seemed to immediately repel unwanted guests from the area without explanation. But, guests were wanted. Standing in front of the strange barrier was a single figure, a few inches shy of seven feet tall. He stood straight and tall but rubbed his hands together as if to fight off something of a chill. To those that knew him before, he looked healthier, though no less sleep-deprived. He could almost pass for human--were it not for his pale blue skin, pointed ears, and cat-slit golden eyes. The iridescent crystals glowing on his cheeks and hairline seemed like they had faded a bit, or might have been filed away, but they were still as much a part of him as they had been the day he’d crawled back up to Destiny City. He had three scars across the bridge of his nose, and his white hair was braided and fell to the middle of his back. Dressed not in the rags and scraps he’d salvaged in the Rift, or the donated clothes of allies from his time on Earth, Caedus looked to the horizon as he waited for them to show up. He was dressed nicely now, in a pale, desaturated purple uniform. He had a dark mantle across his shoulders, and a hexagonal brooch in the center of it. Everything seemed to fit, it wasn't just a mish-mash of clothes he'd recovered and been gifted. He wore sturdy brown boots, encrusted with crystals; his pants were tucked into them and his jacket was open. He wasn't wearing a cape. He wasn't hiding. He did, however, still have traces of his old self. He wore a red sash with gold tassels around his waist, and a brown satchel full of the crystals he seemed to treasure. The night was still young, but they didn’t have much time to act. Caedus had asked for help once before, and now he needed to again. Only, he hadn’t come alone and he hadn’t come unprepared. Quote: Caedus has returned to Earth, and he hasn’t come alone! This ORP is only open to Order characters; there is a special barrier that distorts energy signatures and prevents them from appearing on enemy radar. Chaos characters may feel a strange pressure on their mind, which affects their ability to sense all Order signatures in the city. This will last for about two hours ICly on the evening of September 13th. Order characters will feel a strong pull; Order characters who are not actively present in this ORP can handwave being in the group or being given the information by someone who attended. This ORP will have a scheduled mule post approximately every 48 hours and will last between a week and a week and a half but will remain open for player questions and conversation. The mule may post responses to player posts intermittently between major mule posts, but all scheduled mule posts addressing the whole group will have at least 48 hours between each post. When posting in this thread, please include your character’s name in bold font at the top of your post, and quote the mule if you are interacting with an NPC or the environment. While violence is not encouraged, you are free to play your character as you see fit--but beware! There's not telling what consequence your actions might have! If you have any questions you can PM the Shop Mule and we will get back to you as soon as possible! Hyperborea, Transcended Knight of the CosmosHyperborea was out on patrol near the edges of the city when she suddenly felt a strange pulling sensation. Like someone was trying to pull her to them but not in the way a wonder or planet called for aid. No this was something different something new. Hyperborea knew where she needed to go, but she didn't know who or what would be waiting there for her.
She held her ring up to mouth and contacted her two partners. "Caer, Delphi! There's something on the outskirts of the city. I'm going to investigate meet me there when you can." She hoped the the other two women would meet up with her soon and she hoped nothing horrible would come from this.
She made her way to the source of the pulling sensation her wisp bouncing along with her as she made her way. There was a man, well not a man precisely but an Alien. To most this would be shocking but Hyperborea had met more than a few Aliens in her 20 years. No what was shocking was who the Alien man was.
"Caedus? Caedus is that you? I'm Hyperborea of the Cosmos, I'm not sure if you remember me we meet years ago." She would never forget that strange alien who had helped Order so much, who had been instrumental in getting a m,ajor section of the Code back. "What are you doing back here? Is everything alright?" She thought he had left Earth for his homeworld. He certainly looked healthier and more put together which was good but why was he back and what did this mean for the War. Caedus had been a great ally before would he be again.

Transcended Eternal Scylla, Senshi of The KrakenTugging on her new pair of earrings as she returned to Destiny City, Scylla was surprised to feel a pull. There was something out there, and it felt like a... calling. Not danger, not in the sense of the way the wisps had felt- and at her side, her own such companion floated and danced, swaying side to side. She sent out a quick text to Charybdis, and Nephthys, one to Cybele for good measure- that there was something, she wasn't sure what it was, but it didn't feel... wrong. They could come. Should come. And then she followed the feeling. Let it guide her, like when she had been trying to sense the way in through Almadel's barrier. Which... could he be back? Or could- Caedus? He had said he would see her soon. At the sight of a tall figure outside of a barrier, Scylla broke into a sprint, running up to him and throwing herself at Caedus with a squeal. "Caedus! Dvelin, glynd!" Words she had wanted to say to him since he had left. Welcome, Friend. Well. The grammar was probably awful, but she was only human. She had seen Hyperborea, but since the group seemed rather small thus far, Scylla was willing to say to hell with it and try to hug her friend first.

Athalia - Super Senshi of Hercules Beetles
He'd been nagged at first, there wasn't a day when he wasn't nagged to do something. However Namielle had been particularly insistent on this occasion and had been marching with purpose towards somewhere on the outskirts of the city for a while now. In the grand scheme of things it would have been much faster if he'd been allowed to lift her and run but for once in her life she wasn't feeling lazy. Oh no, when it came to whatever mission she had this evening, she was very much determined to get there herself.
It wasn't long before he began to understand why though. The closer they drew towards wherever she was going, the stranger he felt. A peculiar tug at his own mind, he was being beckoned to some degree and much to his irritation he felt inclined to heed it. No sooner had they finally parted ways with the inner city than his gaze fell upon the hill and with it, the bizarre shimmer. Whoever or whatever lay beyond that was likely to be the source of his 'pull'.
It was with a snort that he finally leaned down and scooped Namielle up, ignoring her flustered protests as he quickened his pace and finally strode beyond the barrier. Athalia would be completely honest in the sense that he hadn't known what to expect, but when he caught sight of someone that was clearly not human he could do nothing more than shake his head.
Was he truly surprised?
Not really, he had become used to the abnormal activities of this city by now and once he was sure he was through the barrier he allowed Namielle to drop to the ground and continued towards the otherwise small gathering. He had never been exposed to Caedus, there were those around them that certainly sounded like they had been, but in terms of vested interest in him he had little. His only query was why his presence had been requested and what the catch was... because if there was one thing he had learned, there was always a damn catch.Quote: He's floatin' about and open to interactions.

Kepler - Super Senshi of Words
She woke up and immediately felt a pull to something. Even Yumi did. Yumi had encouraged her to go, telling Kepler she'd be following along soon enough.
When she followed that pull, she saw other senshi following in their own way. Everyone was heading over. Something in the pit of her stomach told her to be wary. It could be a trap. The Negaverse was creative from time to time on how they tried to get another rung in the ladder of this war.
Instead she found someone she didn't know, but had only heard of. The whisperings from others with half information. Maybe she should have brought Yumi along with her. She frowned as she stood, just coming up behind and to the side of Athalia, but saying nothing.
"Who is he?" She asked herself, putting a finger to her lips in thought.
Caedus? Was that his name? Caduceus? Something along those lines.

Athalia - Super Senshi of Hercules Beetles
"Oh good, so I'm not the only one that's largely clueless as to who that is and why we're here," Athalia replied with a wry smile. He didn't seem particularly sarcastic, if anything his tone was warm and conversational. He wasn't familiar with Kepler, but that didn't mean he couldn't be polite and at least get to know her until they got to the bottom of it. Perhaps if they both not-so-subtly leaned in they might catch the tail end of some conversation.
"I'll be entirely honest with you I've gotten a small fraction of the conversation and I'm almost certain the unknown gentleman is called something beginning with 'C', or 'K'," he shook his head. "Sadly I don't think nicknaming him Kelloggs until formal introductions have been made would be considered polite," he admitted and held out a hand.
"Athalia by the way, at the very least I can offer you my name," he chuckled and gave a nod towards the small group nearby their visitor.
"Do you think we can strategically edge our way over without being rude, or is this one of those circumstances when we should give them their space. I'm not quite sure if we're interrupting a reunion at the moment," he conceded.

Kepler - Super Senshi of Words"I've heard people whisper about a strange person, but I've never been around for when he's visited." Kepler put her hands on her hips at that, seemingly annoyed at that aspect. She liked to be in the know, but life was just so busy these days as she was ramping up for dance competitions with her small group. "Cadeus? Caduses? Something along those lines, yes. But Kellogg.. I'd just call him Frost Flakes." She snickered at her own joke before looking back up to the senshi she'd stepped beside. "Keeping with that 'K' name thing, I'm Kepler." Her smaller hand took his, gave it a firm shake before dropping it and stretching out. When Athalia posed his question, Kepler's lilac eyes glanced around and she let out a hum. "I think so. We... I mean we wouldn't have felt a pull if we weren't supposed to be here for something or other." She wouldn't be relaxed though, that was for certain. Not fully, anyway. Things like this she didn't trust until ... well it was over, actually. Never trust someone you didn't know in this war, especially if they pulled multiple senshi together. That made her so uncomfortable. So far there was no one here she recognized.

Super Sailor CybeleIt was strange. It would have been impossible to ignore the odd tug on her senses, even under normal circumstances, but on the other hand, Cybele was trying to scale back on doing things like dashing alone headfirst towards something that was likely extremely powerful. However, dashing towards possible danger with somebody else was another story entirely, and so when Cybele's phone buzzed and she saw the message from Scylla, she gave a quick reply that she was coming and then quite literally broke into a sprint. The gathering was easy to find. Even beyond the strange calling, there were already a few figures coming together by this hill at the edge of town. Something about the entire situation seemed achingly familiar, in a way that was somehow stronger than the usual flashes of emotion that came up sometimes. That tug in her chest only intensified when she saw the tall, inhuman man. The man who Scylla was apparently throwing herself at. While Cybele did not want to interrupt the moment, she also did not really know anyone else in this small gathering, so she walked up to the two of them and stood silently by a few feet by Scylla's side.

Puck, Eternal Senshi of the WoodsSomething was tugging at his mind, and it was affecting his music. Rob put down his guitar and transformed into Puck; whatever was going on was strong, insistent, and quite familiar. A feeling from many years back... Puck immediately left the house and followed the tugging across the city, ending up at a very familiar hill. There was a man there -- along with several other senshi who had gathered there, responding to the call. Calling... was that Caedus? He remembered the strange man and his mission. Spotting Scylla in the crowd (actually getting right up in Caedus's face with a great huge hug) along with Cybele waiting nearby, he made his way to where they were standing, not wanting to intrude. Much. He nodded at Cybele with a smile and cleared his throat gently to try to draw Scylla's attention.

Squire LourdesLourdes was suddenly struck with the feeling that she had to be somewhere. Like she was late for an appointment or had slept through her alarm. It was a distinctly unpleasant feeling, but one she followed nonetheless. She followed it through Destiny City, carefully avoiding chaos signatures as she wound through brightly lit areas that they tended to avoid. All the way outside the city, Lourdes followed her gut, almost wandering, until she pulled herself, in those ridiculous heels, all the way up a hill. She wasn’t ready for what she was faced with. How long had this been here? Her immediate feeling was panic. Was this a negaverse trick? Was she being called back? Where the distorted figures inside some General Sovereign come to plunge her starseed back into the abyss or worse? Lourdes fought the lump in her throat, and summoned her weapon. Youma. That was the word that flashed into her mind as soon as she saw the figure. Or rather, one of those abominate half-breeds the Negaverse kept spitting out. Lourdes gritted her teeth together. They would not take her back. She would not let them take her back. She would die before she was taken back. She tightened her grip on her weapon and reared back to swing it when -- “Dvelin glynd!” Lourdes lurched to a halt, her breathing coming in ragged pants as she realized that tears had begun slipping down her cheeks. She knew that voice. A second later, Scylla, the kind woman from the moon, launched herself, not in rage, but in joy, at the tall stranger. She seemed overwhelmingly happy to see him… and though she did not know this stranger, it was enough for Lourdes to swallow her fear, wipe away her tears, and fall in on the other side of Scylla, flanking her with Cybele. “So you know each other,” she asked, her voice still shaking from her panic.

Athalia - Super Senshi of Hercules Beetles
"Mmm," he sounded odd for a moment after she pointed out that she too had been 'summoned' here. If all were to experience the same thing then it simply didn't sit well with him. For all he knew they could be moths to a flame and quite literally sitting ducks as something amassed outside that barrier. He hadn't been born yesterday and he didn't wake up a cynic; the city and everything that it had thrown at him had made him one of those.
"This city has a rather wonderful habit of 'drawing' individuals regardless of creed to their demise," he said at last, albeit with a degree of suspicion. He had never been called for any good reason that was for sure, no such thing as a happy ending when something tugged at him and hauled him out of the city. Just throw an alien into the mix and he had genuine concerns he was going to be back in those horrid woods trying to keep several individuals alive.
"But I will at least hear him out," he pursed his lips. "If only to gain some clarity on what little games he's playing to manipulate me in this capacity," he added.
"A pleasure to meet you though, I'm delighted that for now it's in comfortable and non-deadly circumstances!"

Kepler - Super Senshi of Words"He's not immediately attacking, so I think hearing him out would be a nice thing to do." The very least they could do. "Pleasure to meet you too! I haven't met new friends in a while. You know how the other life can get." She pulled at her collar and then shook her head. "I don't mind meeting new friends in combat situations, but I will say, despite suspicions, this is a much better way." A cocky grin played at Kepler's lips and she just stood a tiny bit taller. "Anyway, there seems to be some who know him and trust him enough. He can't be ...well I won't say that." Could be playing a long con game. Ugh. Sometimes she hated doubting everyone, especially an alien! Kepler loved space, even when she was a child. When she was a teen she'd worked in the museum because it got her access to cool things where she could learn even more. "Do you think one per...alien would fool so many of us? I know there's some very overly cautious senshi out there."

Super Sailor Ara, Chibi Senshi of IlluminationAra was on patrol with Charybdis when she felt a weird tugging sensation like something was trying to get her to go somewhere. It felt like she needed to go to the outskirts of town. She was about to ask her friend if she had felt the same when a text came through to Charybdis it was from Scylla. "We should go." Ara said nodding in the direction.
She took off with Charybdis, the two of them were both very fast owed to their advanced speed as chibis. She felt a bunch of Order auras gathered together but thankfully no Chaos auras. She was glad after the last battle she wouldn't mind a break from encounters with Chaos for a while and she knew Charybdis was also still recovering from the battle mentally, physically, and emotionally.
When they got there she saw a strange looking alien man who Scylla current had her arms wrapped around. Ara couldn't help the giggles that escaped her lips at the sight. "I think you might be getting a new daddy soon." Ara playfully teased her friend. "Do you know who he is? Or for that matter what he is?" She wondered if Scylla had mentioned him to Charybdis at all if she was this close to him.

Princess GanymedeAfter a decade, all the pulls and tugs, the callings, the unnatural sensations that led them onward, each of them began to lose their strangeness. They were not so prevalent as to be considered everyday occurrences, but they were also not so rare as to spur her to amazement. After every period of peace or inactivity came a not-so-subtle reminder that the war was not over, that there was still much to be done.
Tonight, with Valhalla at her side, Ganymede let the sensation guide her. She didn’t know what to expect — with the constant ebb and flow of the war, it could be anything — but she found herself unsurprised by Caedus’s presence all the same.
Though she arrived as a Transcended Eternal, Ganymede drew upon her power as soon as she noticed their guest. She let the light spread through her, until the red and black of her fuku became an extravagant white gown, and the modest wings low on her back became a much larger pair, gleaming silvery-white in the moonlight.
If greeting an otherworldly guest was on the agenda for the night, she would do so as a Princess.
Ganymede came to a stop among the gathering crowd, gaze drifting to and fro, from one figure to the next, scanning faces, seeking those who were familiar. She saw Cybele close to Caedus but made no move to interrupt. Inevitably, her attention caught on the dome.
Pessimistic by nature, Ganymede could not see this reunion as a cause for celebration.
If I were you, I’d keep my eyes to the stars, just in case.
A warning offered to her just two months ago, and now this?

Sailor Tachibana, Chibi Senshi of ChrysanthemumsTachibana was just leaving her family home for patrol when she felt a strung pull towards the outskirts of the city. She didn't know what it was and that made her very worried. What if it was another battle. Tachibana wasn't sure she could handle seeing another sight like the Page who was skewered. It was still haunting her nightmares. But still the call was so irresistible, she had to know what it was.
Thankfully as she got closer she only sensed Order auras. That was a big relief nothing should go wrong if this was just Order. But still it begged the question what had gathered them all here.
She didn't have long to wait for her answer she saw a strange alien man who was currently being hugged by an older senshi that she had seen at several battles but didn't know by name. She didn't see anyone she knew and she didn't want to interrupt any of the conversations that were happening so she she stood to the side and tried not to get in anyone's way.
