Personality: This boy doesn’t like doing anything unless he has to. Relaxing is much more enjoyable than doing any hard work. When he is able to get away with being lazy, he spends his time dreaming up new ideas. His mind explores every realm possible from simple inventions to creating new worlds with characters in his head. He has a journal that he tries to keep away from his siblings where he writes practically everything down. It is one of the few things he is not lazy about. While extremely imaginative, he has both feet stuck surprisingly hard to the ground. He loves coming up with wild tales, but he never entertains the idea that any of it might be real. In general, Lioe is a very friendly sort. He's by no means a chatter box, but he has opened up to talking a little more to those around him. Having a rather chaotic family still bothers him a little, but he is steadily getting used to the way of the world. Living on his own in Tale and then getting a steady job in Belrea have given him a confidence that he was lacking before that continues to develop and grow.

Prentice – Class Affinity Solo Author
Writing was was one of the few things in the world that gave Lioe real joy. A blank piece of paper on the desk before him was the same, if not better, than walking out the front door. Rarely had he ventured far from his hometown physically. He was just too much of a homebody to actually go explore in the big wide world. Instead, he got to enjoy his adventures through the written word and pictures. He didn’t have to take a carriage ride along a bumpy road to visit the sands of Oba. There was no need to freeze his ears off to walk through the snows of Zena. He could visit Yael without need of crossing the churning sea. Why would anyone put themselves through such trials when all they had to do was open a book and use a little imagination?
He couldn’t help looking out and seeing how practically everyone was the opposite of him; especially in his family. Yet, he couldn’t help thinking that he just could not be the only one out there. Surely there were others who would not or could not make those trips across the world. There were people with different disabilities surely unable to go any long distance. Some people must be too busy to leave their homes to go on journeys. People like him who were curious about the world, but did not have the energy to go explore themselves. How would they see the world if not through books?
He was lucky enough that he had a decent source of literature to poke through. Maybe… Everyone was pushing him to get a job, but those manual labor gigs were too much for him. Maybe he could make his own job? One that combined his love of books with making a profit. A way to share the world with those unable to see it for themselves! Or, in his case, unwilling… but whatever the case may be, he found himself wanting to share his passion.
He was going to write books, and, perhaps.. Perhaps collect other books for others to be able to read for themselves.

Prentice- Growth Quest Solo Rogue
When others saw the airships, they might look at the giant machines with wonder and excitement. They might question how it flew, how it moved, and how it held everyone. They might even worry and ask if it was really as powerful as the stories said.
When Lioe approached it with his sister, his mind was on where the airship was taking him rather than the transport itself. He was really going to Belrea! He was leaving the only home that he had ever known to fly over the ocean and live for a while in a strange place. He wasn’t sure how long he would stay there, but it would be long enough. Heck, a week there would have been a big deal, but this? He still was not entirely sure what had made him decide to go. He certainly wasn’t bored at home. He liked the quiet.
Of course, he had to admit to missing his family. He’d seen the extended family now and then, but it wasn’t the same. The idea of moving back in with everyone was daunting, but there was sure to be plenty to keep his attention outside of the house. Plus, he was feeling better about reaching his destination now that he knew he would be living with Zadia. It would only be a short stay with everyone in one house until they could find a new place.
...It felt like ages since he had seen his parents. He was eager to see his father again, but things had never really grown between his mother and himself. He still felt as awkward and distant as ever from her, and the time apart had obviously done nothing to help mend that relationship gap. Then there was the new baby to consider, surely taking up all the spare time that his parents would have… Yes, he was eager to see his family, but also unexpectedly nervous. What if he saw his mother and just felt like that youngling afraid to talk to her again? What if his presence barely went acknowledged? What if.. He'd heard that new babies could take the place of old ones, and considering the age gap... He didn't want to be forgotten.
Would things be better if he was more interested in the airships? It seemed to be working out for his brother. Or if he did something exciting like working alchemy? That was certainly working for his sister. Surely the baby Marcella was going to end up with some thrilling traits as well. He liked his life as he was, but he never felt like it was enough to truly earn the pride that he wished to see in his parents’ eyes.
He glanced over to his sister and found only a loving and reassuring smile. This was his chance… His chance to really discover what he wanted. His chance to show that he had passions and hopes and dreams. His chance to show that he could achieve whatever he wanted and be-!
...Maybe he was getting a little ahead of himself!
The first step was following his sibling onto the airship. Leaving Tale and his old life behind.
One step at a time.

Conclusion: Lioe is taking an enormous step outside of his reclusive comfort zone. In deciding to move to Belrea, he is choosing to step away from his normal homebody tendencies. It also shows his inclination to make things better with his family, his mother in particular. Like everything Lioe does, it’ll be slow; but the progress is being made!
