Kale lives in what used to be a tavern close to the edge of Kale’s run river. A well-traveled pathway stood in front of it. It had been used by traders during the days of man, but now it deserted and overgrown and yet... it seemed welcoming to those new to the area. It was certainly easier than traveling through thick grass all the time or perhaps it was that impending adventure that made it more welcoming. The ruined tavern itself was charming, but extremely cluttered with piles of items and interesting garments strewn about the yard. Clearly the garments had been placed outside as a marketing ploy but you find you can’t turn it down.
Entering the semi-enclosed space the smell of mold, wood and decay hit your senses. It is oddly damp and much darker than expected. In corners of the structure mushrooms blossomed along with cloaks of soft, spongy moss. Nature was reclaiming what was rightfully hers. Through the hole in the wall the land beyond looks marshy and eroded. The roar of the river loud and freeing. Perhaps they had a bit a flooding problem as well? Continuing to another room it became apparent that someone enjoyed collecting things. Pile and pile of things were scattered throughout the room. Some items familiar, others not so much. Atop one of the yet to be sorted piles a raccoon sat, rifling through the items, tossing some things this way at that. He lifts his head up, peering curiously at you before bringing his attention back to the pile, muttering too softly to understand. You decide to leave him be and continue a few steps forward, stopping suddenly.
“Now, now...” A grizzled voice swells from the darkness, sending a violent chill to ride the wave of your spine from tail tip to crown. It is enough to stop you dead in your tracks, a flurry of thoughts fogging the senses, mingled with the urge to maybe run? Maybe fight? Through the haze, you think hastily that it might have come from the last room... from the... coon? Perhaps? But the theory vanishes just as quickly, leaving you, the dying rumble of a disjointed voice, and the withering hovel to settle things...
“...What brings a stranger to my home this time?” The voice, somehow deeper this time and more gravely, like sand caught between teeth, rises once more out of the shadows and now you are wondering if it’s the structure itself... it recedes into the unknown corners and you strain your eyes to peer after them. It is followed almost immediately by a chuckle, ominous under the current circumstances, and foreboding of no good deed yet to come...
Maybe your paw falters in an attempt to pull back? Maybe they stand stalwart and ready?
Soon, from a space down the corridor, around a corner in a room you could not see, steps a hulking mass wielding a mighty grin. Filling the frame of a threshold, he pauses to size you up. There’s a look of recognition behind the gaze. Then, taking one of his massive paws and moving it forward, he speaks through a slow, intimidating stride.
“Wait.... I know why you’re here!” The grin has yet to fade, growing wider in his approach. It nearly splits his face in two, glowing eyes set intensely upon you until they could almost fill out your entire line of sight... it is only then, standing close enough to whisper, that the male chuckles, cranes his neck back, and utters confidently.
“The raccoon came with the space....It is not for sale...” The words leave him but he doesn’t give them long enough to simmer. Immediately his facade cracks and, without much warning, laughter escapes him. “Ahh.... damn. Humor has never been my thing no matter how hard I try.” He shakes his head and shrugs. “Everquest claims my timing is well enough but the execution could use work. Alas...”
Still laughing, the Berserker then steps around you, moving several paces down the path back and out, only to pause when he realizes you haven’t begun to follow quite yet. Quickly, he peers over a shoulder and furrows his brows. “Monster Hunting, yeah?” Despite this being far from a joke. He doesn’t give it enough time to settle in the same way he had his quip. This time, of course, there’s no reason to wait for a response... he already knows the answer. In an instant he seems to size you up once again, a resizing if you will, before his nostrils flair with a heavy snort and his head jerks; a request for you to follow.
“Come, I’ve got just the quest for you...”

Rules:
Earning points to spend is a fairly straightforward process. You must create a character card for each character you use in the Quests and keep their loot and RP points up to date. The shop will have items for sale that you can acquire with the points you earn. RP points can be combined with item points in some instances in order to purchase certain items. However, item points cannot be combined with RP points in order to purchase a specific RP point perk from the shop.
Your must post your Monster Hunter character card(s) prior to participating in a Quest!
Post responses must be at least 150 words in order to be counted. Each post will be worth 1 RP point.
A characters RP points cannot be shared with other characters (even if you own them), and must remain static to the character originally used to obtain said RP points.
You must keep your Item List up to date. Any cheating will result in immediate banning from the Monster Hunter event and potentially the shop.

Look at what you've discovered! It's one of the most exciting parts of this shop: the items! Here you'll discover a rotating list* of items that come and go as they are available.
To purchase items you must participate in the quests that are offered by Kale. During the quest you will have ample opportunity to gain items which have been given a set point value. The point values can be seen in the post above and have been predetermined prior to users beginning the quest. These point values may change over time as we see fit.

What this means is that the shop may not have the same items twice at any given time.
There are also four tiers worth of items, but that does not mean there will always be every tier, the tier is just a way to determine the point value.

Welcome to the second most sought after part of the shop - the titles! This is the RP shop, meaning you are able to come here and exchange your RP points for titles. These titles will offer your bonus action points!
Purchasing perks in this area is very easy. Simply complete a Quest made by Kale and post your qualifying RP responses. Each response that is over 150 words will equate to one RP point. However, while you can add RP points to your Item Points in order to purchase particular items, you cannot combine Item Points with RP points to purchase RP perks. You also cannot share RP points with another character in order to purchase something here. These rewards are strictly your experiences rewarding you. Please note, with the exception of the Monster Hunter cert, these are strictly IC rewards. Flavor Text will not be added to your cert.
If you are purchasing a cert, you will need to post for a new cert here.
