Occupation: Calvary Captain in the Great Oban Army

Physical Description: She's a little taller than average with a muscular build and a larger bust. Notably she has a scar that runs along the bottom of her left eye, a rather large one bisecting the bones in her left forearm and burn scars on her left side.
3 Base Traits: Resolute - Introverted - Adventurous
Personality: Sari knows that everything she does is for a purpose and seeks to accomplish each task to the best of her abilities. She puts in maximum effort, hopes for great results and if something doesn't turn out right the first time she'll work hard until it does. She's been trained to know that defeat is only a state of mind and if you work hard enough you can see another way to win. This determined attitude applies to life outside of her studies, as well. Even if she's terrible at something (ex. baking) she'll practice as hard as she can to perfect it and can become frazzled when she just can't see a way around it.
Growing up in such a strict environment has made for a rather introverted young woman. Since she usually responds in clipped phrases and grunts most assume she's a hateful, intimidating beast. In all actuality Sariza simply knows that others are more apt to listen to what you have to say if you don't waste words. Oh, and also, she's terribly socially inept. Not only does she lack the skills necessary to make friends, when she's tried most shut her out because of her birth. Since her father's friends are mostly Oban elite lineage means a good deal to them, and because of hers she's learned that being the quiet bystander is better than being mocked.
Despite her cold exterior inside is a fountain of curiosity. Sariza loves learning about the world and will often take errand trips just an excuse to see as much of Oba as she can. She's been known to cliff dive into ponds, accept street fights just for the thrills, and race Janarim under the moonlight. Most of which are better kept secrets from her father, but since he's gone most of the time and she no longer needs nannies to care for her Sariza's taken to her new 'freedom' just fine.

History
Sari was born from the union of Brigadier General Hakan and an unnamed woman. Talk had spread for years that Hakan was simply too focused on his own ambitions to ever settle. He'd taken lovers, of course, but none ever stayed long enough to become a fixture in his life. The thought of such a man, so decorated in military accomplishments and well into his prime, starting a family simply faded from public thought.
And then, he announced the arrival of a daughter.
The news took everyone by storm. Where had she come from? Was it really his, or had he adopted her? Who was the girl's mother? No one had seen him with a woman in years so why now, all of a sudden, would he come home with a baby?
Hakan refused to answer. When probed he simply said that his business was his own, that this was his daughter, and that was that. To her credit the babe did resemble him in every way, save for her crystals and eyes. Orbs so bright, like flower's in bloom, certainly must have come from her mother.
He hired nannies to watch over the babe and tutors once she was of age. Expectations were high; just because Hakan had chosen to take a child into his home didn't mean he'd softened. Sariza grew up walking a razor thin line between gruff acknowledgement of her accomplishments and swift dismissals. She grew to know that he was most pleased when she excelled in her lessons, and thus tried her best to make him happy.
Of course this left little room for socialization. What little friends Sari had as a girl quickly dwindled as she got older, despite her best efforts. As lonely as it was sometimes, spending her days working for her father's approval, it just made her cherish the fun times all the more. When she was able to spend an afternoon with her friends they played hard and long, often exhausting themselves with laughter.
Sariza was happy. She'd grown up in a strict, sometimes overbearing household, but an oddly loving one. Hakan wasn't without affection, though it was scattered and brief. Occasionally he would tousle her dreads as he walked by and sometimes she would wake up to a new hair piece or blade by her bedside. It was nice and even if they never said it out loud there was love between the two.
Still, she was always curious about her birth. What few times she'd brought it up to Hakan he shut her down instantly and after a while she'd stopped asking. Of course his colleagues had their own ideas. Surely she was the child of a private dancer he was too ashamed to talk about or maybe he'd found her in a gutter, knew he could pass her off as his own, and brought her home. One day she hoped to find out.

Body Type: She's a tall, muscular with a larger bust and some notable scars. One just under her left eye, one on her forearm [ should look as if a blade ran through the radius and ulna], and burns on her left side. Area affected is shoulder, arm, side, thigh and leg. It shouldn't be too fresh since magical healing was involved, but if skin is shown it should definitely be noted.
