TROLLS IN MOTION
During the event, trolls can perform, by default, two ACTIONS per day. By completing daily milestones, they can unlock more, but this is the starting amount.
An ACTION is either (1) rolling on an event table, (2) moving location, or (3) conducting one raid.
Everything else, be it RP posts, submitting forms, or any special events that are happening, is not an ACTION and can be done as much as you want, or for special milestone events, can be done as many times as specified for that event.

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT 101
The goal of the great space race is to be the team that has amassed the highest amount of resources by the end of one week. These resources are LABOUR, MATERIAL, RESEARCH, and MORALE. The end goal is to collect as much MATERIAL and RESEARCH at an ideal ration of 2 MATERIAL for every 1 RESEARCH. For calculating the final score, all MATERIAL and RESEARCH that falls under the 2:1 golden ratio will count as double. LABOUR and MORALE are important to collect, but are used during the Space Race to assist your team, rather than for the final score.

LABOUR

is a representation of the workforce of trolls and machines on your team. Working drones, researching scientists, assembly lines set up to process materials, transportation vehicles, and the like.
It is used to either increase MORALE, or MATERIAL.

MATERIAL

is the all important physical supplies of beams, casings, screws, and confusing bits of bent chitten that are used to build the physical tower. The nuts and bolts, as it were!
It contributes to a team's final score.

RESEARCH

is the magical manifestation of all the intellectual sides of constructing a giant metal rod that transcends the heavens. Data entry, simulation running, blueprints drafting, database management, ecetera ecetera.
It contributes to a team's final score.

MORALE

is any actions taken to increase the pep and good feeling of your team. Homemade lunches, backrubs, short shifts, and rousing speeches are all parts of the abstract score of morale.
It is used to protect your team's MATERIAL.

ALL YOUR BASE
Both Civisect and Chittentown have main scientific research facilities, that are now rapidly growing to include room to construct the massive space elevators. All trolls will begin the space race at their respective side's CENTRAL HUB. Here, they can participate daily in helping out via using their natural talents in several areas, and less abstractly, by using an ACTION to roll 1d6 and comparing their results to the dice result table of their choice.

There are nine tables for each CENTRAL HUB, each representing a different talent or skill your troll might possess that they can use to help out. Trolls are encouraged to socialize with the rest of their team while doing this, and will get bonuses to their actions if they're interacting with another troll during the dicerolls.

By participating in this way, trolls can help generate three resources, RESEARCH, LABOUR, and MORALE. As trolls do this, they can not only help the team by generating key resources, but also unlock milestones with varying effects.

RESEARCH will simply be funneled directly into the team's total RESEARCH score, while LABOUR and MORALE must be distributed.

While Civisect and Chittentown both have their CENTRAL HUBS, they also each have, scattered on the plains around New Hemisect City, three MANUFACTURING FACILITIES - where MATERIAL is generated. Left to their own they will generate five MATERIAL per day. These are also where LABOUR and MORALE must be distributed to. To move between either of the three FACILITIES, or between the CENTRAL HUB and any FACILITY is an ACTION.

MORALE simply needs to be sent to a FACILITY - while LABOUR needs to be micromanaged. To do so, trolls must travel from the CENTRAL HUB to visit a MANUFACTURING FACILITY, and when there, choose to spend their LABOUR either on MATERIAL or MORALE, exchanging it on a 1:1 ratio. They should also instruct the station to ship all produced MATERIAL sitting at the FACILITY back to the CENTRAL HUB so it can be put into the team's total MATERIAL score. This is essential, because MATERIAL that sits in FACILITIES is vulnerable to RAIDING.

ARE BELONG TO US
Each FACILITY has a MORALE-meter, that starts, and caps, at 50 and can be lowered through the trolls that inevitably fall into the aforementioned temptation. This is known as RAIDING, and involves trolls bustin' down the door of an opposing team's FACILITY, kicking up a ruckus, and generally grabbing as much MATERIAL as possible before fleeing back to the safety of their own FACILITY. Not only can trolls from the opposing city RAID, but some locals have gotten caught up in the event as well and might come knocking on a facility's door, intent on smashing as much MATERIAL as possible, in the spirit of fun and competition.

In more meta terms, RAIDING involves rolling 1d10 and removing the results from the targeted FACILITY's current MORALE. If the FACILITY's MORALE is under 25, they can also take half that amount from the FACILITY's MATERIAL stockpile, and if the FACILITY's MORALE is under 5, they can take the full number's amount! In addition, if trolls RAID together, they will get bonuses to their roll scores.

Raids must be conducted from the same-numbered FACILITY as the target, so if a troll wants to raid the opposing team's FACILITY 1, they must be at their own FACILITY 1. All MATERIAL gained from raiding is sent to the FACILITY your troll originated from, so they can send it back to their own CENTRAL HUB when they return from the raid.

To regenerate your FACILITY's MORALE, trolls can either send MORALE from the CENTRAL HUB where it will automatically go into the FACILITY's MORALE. They can also choose to spend LABOUR while at the FACILITY to raise the MORALE.

If your teen or adult troll is at a FACILITY when a raid conducted by a teen or adult troll is underway, feel free to use it for a meta-inspired BATT thread. The raider still lowers the FACILITY's MORALE by their rolled amount, and gets away at the end with however much MATERIAL they should.

TL;DR
Each troll can do min 2 actions per day - this can be increased.
1 action = rolling 1d6 to generate materials at the central hub
1 action = move between the central hub/any of the 3 facilities
1 action = conduct a raid against the opposing side's facility
trolls need to move morale and labour from the central hub to the facilities
trolls need to move material from the facilities to the central hub
trolls can raid the opposing team's facilities to lower their morale and steal their material

Firstly, for every point of any resource you generate through the CENTRAL HUB, you can decide to 'keep' (not report) half the amount, rounded down, and spend the accumulated resources in the ways detailed below. In addition, all MATERIAL gained via RAIDING can be kept, and none needs to be sent back to your team.

NEEDY SWAMP MOM
For every point of LABOUR you have collected, you can send off a point of MATERIAL or RESEARCH to a secret Phoenix Initiative drop-point, where it will be collected and secreted off to help the Initiative, and Salmire Outpost.

For each point of MORALE, you can spend it to double a point of LABOUR that you have. If you have no LABOUR, you cannot spend your MORALE.

I WANT TO BREAK FREE
For every ten points of RESEARCH you have, you can get into the criminal records database from a computer terminal, and edit your records. You can choose to change the description, name, and small details, overwrite the profile and link it with another wanted criminals, or find another way to subtly modify it so that you can walk the streets unmolested. Each day, Panilli will pass along news of her latest visions and foresights via Piccal's crew - Piccal and Loulah will distribute the news in Chittentown, with Shenso and Malory passing it out in Civisect. These will tell trolls where they might expect to find something that will help solve the mystery of Panili's sense of foreboding. If your troll was at Panili's meeting, and sees P! beside the result they have rolled in their daily table at the CENTRAL HUB, they should pm the mule immediately, linking to the post where they rolled on the table. Only the first troll to submit this pm will receive something in return.
