The home of a young raven haired Gehaka, named Yori Sada.
He lives at his mother's farm, on the outskirts of town.
A decent sized farm, with a good amount of Gehaka.
As his mother's only son, he is treated decently, even for a gehaka.
Residing with him is his mother's four husbands. Also the home of a young golden haired Gehaka, named Taini Mabyn.
He lives with his family, who owns a carpenter's shop.
His mother has six husbands, and being the third son in the family, Mabyn is mainly pushed off on them.
This shop is not by the main street, but a few streets off.

About Taini, MabynName: Taini, Mabyn Meaning: returning moon, ever young Age: 18 Romantic interests: Tsukiko Status: to be married Skills: A good swordsman, more skilled in hand to hand combat, and is a better than decent (though not a master) carpenter. Personality: Taini always finds himself returning to the same emotions, anger, hurt, and depression, all because his mother. His mother completely, well almost completely, ignores him. And when he does take notice, its to tell him to go get married and out of his hair. Thus, he's always angry, the hurt, then depressed, unless he's carving, or some one speaks to him kindly. When he is among friends, he speaks freely, and laughs the loudest. Not around friends he tries to cover it all up with a mask... but if some one can slip past the "calm and cool" Taini... they'll get the emotional fireball underneath! History: Mabyn is the third, and youngest, son in his family. Most suspect that his father is his mother's second husband, because of frame and coloring. He grew up learning all about wood, and carving it, dealing mainly in fine crafted small things. Figurines, small boxes, and the like. He learned his words, but only to identify them, and repeat them in an order, clearly carved into whatever he was working with. This has been his life for 18 years. Maybe now, that will all change...

All About YoriName: Yori, Sada Meaning: Reliable, Pure One Age: 18 Romantic interests: none Status: single, unmarried, gehaka Skills: Yori is a skilled swordsman, but take away his sword and he's at a loss. Yori is also a good farmer, planting, taking care of, harvesting plants. Good planning, and predicting how weather will affect the crops as well. Personality: Yori is a shy Gehaka, prefering to keep silent on most things (but thats slowly changing). He is a sweet guy, and never lies. He's scared of Haka, of embarassing himself in front of them, and has a secret fear of never getting married, and living with his mother for the rest of his life. He is kind to other Gehaka, but prefers just not to be noticed by Haka, despite his fear, his throat always seems to dry up when they were around. History: Sada was the first and only son in his family, despite his mother being active with all four husbands of his. As such, his mother cares for him deeply, even giving him money every day to get a piece of fruit (he loves fruit) after working on the farm. He was raised by all five, learning sword skills, manners, farming, and the like. Once, there was an accident when he was ten, and because of it, a scar along the outside of his right thigh would show if anyone saw him without pants. It was because he was being loud and playing where he shouldn't, thus his new quiet, reserved manner. Now, eight years after the accident, he's begining to get a bit of his old self again...

Today, I went to the Main Street after work. I...fell on my face, because I saw a Haka nearby. It wasn't...exactly the best thing to do I guess.... but because of it I met Hotaru-san! He's a Gehaka from a good house it seems, and quiet a friendly one. I've never spoken so much to some one since before the accident.
Anyway, I met Hotaru-san, and he asked me if I had seen his cousin. Of course I hadn't, I don't look at Haka. But, on a whim, I decided to help him. To seek out a Haka. My knees felt like giving out most of the time, but I searched. Honey brown hair, green kimino.
I found the Haka soon enough, and wouldn't you know it, he was....beautiful. I just stared as hard as I could at the ground. Hotaru-san sounded as if he thought I was weird for suggesting his cousin liked flowers.
He didn't want to bother his cousin just yet, so we went to a nearby fruit stand. I bought a green apple... darn my obbession with fruit. Hotaru-san said he could read my face easily.
Then I saw that the sun was setting, and booked it home. I barely got home in time, but after my mother heard that I had met some one new, and had made a friend, he wasn't mad at all. So all in all, a great day!

This....is something...truly odd. I met a Haka today, a beautiful one with such dark skin... but I was angry, because of another Haka... and I took it out on the pretty haka. He was a little hurt, and snapped at me, but not in the way a Haka normally would... he... Nevermind, it'll all be explained.
I dropped to my knees and apologized, hoping that he would accept it, and forget me. But then...he told me to get up, because he sees Gehaka and Haka as equal. It frankly, shocked me to no end. But it was the first shock of many that would come...
I followed him. He had no husbands, not even an escort with him. I found a piece of wood, and began to carve. His figure became the shape of the wood, even as I was not paying attention...
His name is Tsukiko. Even as I say his name now, the blush comes. Darn him, he shocked me so much!! But that's later... He invited me into his house for tea. I had finished carving, and had given it to him as a gift. For being a Haka who didn't just see a tall Gehaka, good for work. He squealed. A real squeal. That was another shocker, though I didn't let it show. I had never heard a Haka squeal before, much less seen one smile as he did...
And he asked me the oddest question. If I believed in love. If I knew what exactly love was... maybe its yes. At least now...
We went in, and he made me tea, after telling me to pick out a doll in return for the carving. Tsukiko had made them himself, I felt as if... I couldn't take one. But one had long raven colored hair, just like Tsukiko's. I had to have that one, I thought, to at least remember this day by...
He willingly handed it over, and we began to small talk. I noticed how empty and cold the house seemed. He was all by himself here. So I brought the subject up. Couldn't he fall in love after marriage? He did need some one to protect him... And the biggest shock of all came.
He asked me to be his husband. He didn't seem to do it...out of love... but he asked me. I felt so guilty for taking that away. I don't...or I didn't know what love was... But I spit my tea out all over the table and landed on my wings. Very graceful...
But as I cleaned up...he asked me again. Only if I wanted to. I had never heard of such a kind Haka. I agreed right away, well, it took me a few seconds.
Then he was going to wash the dishes! I couldn't let him do that!! So I did it... but when I walked back, he was sweeping. I'll have to hire a Gehaka to clean the house... I'm already starting to think of things Tsukiko does on his own, that some one else could do easily...
First husband. I was thinking third would be lucky.
Then, he said he'd like a marriage in the winter, if it was okay with me. I, once again, was shocked, but it was a bit numb. I think I'm getting use to it.
He walked up, and kissed me. His lips were so soft.... but then, he didn't recoil when I wrapped him in my arms either. He's a bit different I think... And now... I have a bracer on my wrist, with his house on it.
I stayed to meet his brother... And Kratos wasn't a very happy or nice person. Told me that I wouldn't be happy married to Tsukiko, that he was mental. I couldn't disagree more...
Then the little one realized that... it was dark, and late. I was all for going home... but he wouldn't hear of it. Insisted I stayed...you can bet that earned me a few smacks from mother... but, I cannot say no to Tsukiko. I can't.
And then... he asked if I wanted to share his room with him. I about died on the spot. I merely told him, I would be fine either way (as in stay in a guest room), and that as I was his, he could make the choice.
He led me up to his room. And it is...a very bare room. I would think something like a room of any haka would be filled with soft and sweet things (mom's is). I expected Tsukiko to have things that showed who he was...sweet, caring, happy...but it was bare. I'm going to have to fix that for him...
He laid down... I had been expecting to get another futon, and just relax. But... he then asked me a question "Won't you come cuddle with me?" Another moment I could have died.
I walked over and laid down next to him. Its a little different, holding him in my arms...in a bed. His hands are so soft, even as he caressed my face, I could tell such a difference between the two of us. I just rested my chin on the top of his head, and tried to go to sleep.
I thought it would take forever, but Tsukiko began to play with my hair. That's a lot more relaxing than I thought it would be! I must admit... I fell asleep right away.
In the morning, I woke up while he was still asleep. I quietly detached myself, and left for home. I would have left him a note...but I can't read or write. I hope he understood...

As everyone in my family knows, I love fruit. Really love fruit. Today, mother gave me money to go get myself some fruit. And how I wanted some!
I went to the fruit stand that was out of the way, because I really just wanted to keep to myself and not worry about any Haka. Boy, was I ever wrong!
First, this odd Gehaka showed up...I don't remember if I got his name... but then a really tall gehaka showed up, then another Gehaka named Sei. Sei had forgotten what fruit he was to get, and I helped him remember.
Then, it turned out that Sei didn't have enough money to buy a piece of his own, or wouldn't because of his mother. So I used the rest of mine to buy him a piece. It wasn't all that, but they made a deal about it. Why not do something nice to some one in need? Well...
I had just finished my red apple, when a Haka showed up out of no where! I mean, really, just four gehaka standing there...relaxing...and wouldn't you know... a haka. It was really joyful for me.
I just stared at the ground, as quiet as you please, but both the weird one and Sei reacted. Sei fell over, and the weird one said hello! I about died....

Today, I was kicked out of my house. My mother, upon seeing the bracer, was happy indeed, but quickly got annoyed. Complaining about the wedding not being soon enough, and kicked me out because "the sight of you sickens me." So, I took my tools, a bag full of different kinds of wood, and left.
I strode over to the public garden. It's public after all, as in for everyone. I sat down, and relaxed. Soon enough, I pulled out some cherry wood, and looked around, trying to find a model. I'm better at living things I think, people over animals, animals over plants...plants over everything else.
And wouldn't you know, a Haka was standing not far off. A pretty one too, though I'm begining to think no one is more beautiful than Tsukiko... I began to carve his figure out in the wood. He didn't seem nice, like my to be mate, but powerful. I tried to convey that with the grace every Haka seems to have...
Well he noticed me, I didn't know how long it was before I noticed him back. But it was to a snarl, that much is sure. I looked up, and it was the Haka I was carving! Quickly, I bowed almost to the ground and asked for forgiveness. I would have given anything for Tsukiko to be there... but the Haka was a high ranking one, so I doubt even the raven haired beauty could do anything...
He quickly demanded the figurine, even after I offered to throw it away. Apparently, it didn't anger him as much as he thought it was. He began to ask questions...
