The town is normally a busy place in the day. Gehaka from young to old running to and fro with errands from their husbands and parents. Haka mulling about, windowshopping, talking in groups under fancy paper parasols, fanning themselves and chatting mildly with one another as they travel, either in groups of friends or with their gehaka escorts.
Main street is the largest street in the town, one of the few with cobblestones instead of dirt to tread upon- something long ago placed so that Haka who wanted to do windowshopping could do so at any time and not get their kimono's dirty. All the fine shops are on the main street, as well as tall lamps with decorations. All in all it is a pinnacle of the town, representing the society in which the Hanze live.

The blue eyes stared up at the equally blue sky, and took it all in. Slowly, the lids closed, and the Gehaka took a deep breath of air. A peaceful moment, that was all he was secretly asking for. The red clothed Gehaka would wake early in the morning, work on his family's farm, then spend the afternoon training with the fellow Gehaka working at the small farm. Then, in the early evening, if he was up to it, Yori Sada was allowed to go out and relax. To make 'friends'. The young Gehaka had none yet, but it didn't bother him, he just kept walking.

He walked slowly down the main street of the market, swift bold green eyes taking in the merchent wares from under the sandy brown bangs. Dressed in a demure kimono of deep green with a simple obi of purple and a swash of lighter green, the small dainty Haka blended slightly in the crowd accompany by a single Gehaka. He was of a lower class family of no real importance.
He smiled as the sound of metal singing reached his ears. The sound of metal hitting metal, someone was practicing with weapons. His left hand twitched, the finger tips lightly calused from his own practice with a Tessen fan. Shinku gave a soft sigh, his mother had just conficated the bladed fan. How she had found it was still a mystery; he had hidden it well in the empty vase in his room.
He gave his head a shake and kept walking. He didn't feel like going home anytime soon; he specialy didn't want to face brother. Shinku's eyes gave a little wince. Mother probably figured out that Sei was giving him weapon lessons. Sei, being a gehaka, didn't have the protection that came with his birth right. Sometimes it made him frustrated that he was a Haka. Paper work was borning and tedious.

Sada opened his eyes, and let them roam around the main street. It wasn't as crowded as it had been the night before. Smiling slightly, he kept walking. Then the blue eyes fell on the Haka. The raven hair Gehaka quickly tried to scoot away. Sada wasn't one to speak to Haka, much less anyone else, and he didn't want to confront one. The young Gehaka had heeard horror stories from his brothers that had made his toes curl.
Swalling hard, Sada felt the urge to suddenly turn heel and return home. He began to do so, only to have his bare foot get caught on a stone, and trip. Sada fell hard, chin first.
"Ow..." he winced, begining to sit up and rub his red chin.

Tsukiko walked elgantly down main street, his green eyes constantly shifting about and his raven black hair flowing behind him as he moved. There was a lot to see in this town and the haka just loved window shopping.
Behind Tsukiko followed Kratos silently. He wasn't Tsukiko's gehaka but just a friend, not owned or really related to anyone. Kratos had tanned skin and light, ragged, brown hair.

The cool water splashing over his forearms was a welcome relief from the warm air of the afternoon. Capek squat to the right of his mother's shop doorway, dunking his arms in the bucket of water. Scrub, scrub, scrubbing. His nails picked purposefully at the slick clay coating his arms from fingertips to elbows. Moxing the clay was messy work, and he'd really have prefferred getting most of it off before going to hunt lunch down. The shopkeepers tended not to like dirty Gehaka asking for meals. It seemed to give off a down trodden feeling.
Capek grinned despite himself. His mother's shop may not have been large, but it was successful enough to buy him a good meal now and then. Mother was a fine sculptor.
With a majority of the clay washed off his arms, Capek straightened up and shook his arms out, stretching them out for the sun to touch. Mother wouldn't like it if he scrubbed them dry on his pants. The Haka had a thing for cleanliness. Besides, a small part of Capek's mind noted somberly, he wanted his forearms to see the light of day for as long as they could before he had bracers slapped across them.

Kageki walked swiftly, the gehaka eyes properly down casted to the ground. He used the courners of his eyes, trying to find his cousion in the mass of people. Why couldn't his cousion be a proper Haka? Instead of trying to learn a Gehaka place?
He shook his head and stop. He turned his head looking at the other Gehaka sitting in the street. He sigh and walked to Sada, offering his hand. "Are you alright?" He questioned, polietly.

Sada's eyes went wide for a moment. He didn't know how to reply. He didn't talk much to anyone. He took the other Gehaka's arm and helped himself up.
"Thank you...very much," he bowed his head slightly, and smiled just a bit. "I am Yori Sada."

Shinku tilted his head, watching the gehaka scrub himself. His green eyes lingered over the clay clinging, he was an sculptor or a potter. He stayed where he was just watching for a few moments. He had nothing better to do.
'Perhaps..just perhaps I should talk to him?' He thought. It would, at least be a way to past the time. If mother wanted him, well mother would find him. He started to walk over, taking proper dainty little steps.

"Hotaru Kageki. It is a pleasure to meet you Yori but please, be more careful. It would not do well for you to be hurt." Kageki smiled back. "Are you all right?" He eyed the other."You look allright, a little dirty," he said; his voice was gentle, and eyes bold.
((Thank you. (Edit))

Sada meekly ducked his head. "My mother is always telling me I'll break the ground before I break a bone." It was true, the young Gehaka hadn't broken a bone his whole life. The strong hands began to dust off the red cloth that was his clothing. "Thank you Hotaru, and it is nice to meet you as well." He smiled just a bit, still not use to speaking to others so much. His voice was quiet, his eyes soft.

It was sizzling today, his mother had said. He wasn't though, thanks to his skin. He was a pale Gehaka, with deep black hair, slightly thick and radiating a lovely sheen. He was between an alley of his mother's store and another, throwing out some dead flowers and cleaning out some vases. His wings were folded neatly behind his back, his kimono hanging limpy on his waist and not on his arms.
It was, of course, inappropriate but he was consumed by is work and didn't think anyone would see him in the small alley, especially with his back turned. His mother's flower shop was not very well known but it occasionly had a few Ikebana classes and grew some very beautiful healthy flowers. He wasn't all that fond of Ikebana was did enjoy growing the flowers himself. Enju worked quietly, rinsing out a vase and replacing flowers in them one by one.

Kageki took in the other; he was soft spoken and quite submissive. Most of is kin at home was that way. His mother had granted him a few special privages, that had ended when his brother was born. He had benifited from that small teaching.
He shook his head. He was not here to dwell on the past; he was trying to find his cousin. "Have you seen a young Haka? Sandy brown hair and in a green kimono?" He questioned.

Sada thought back and slowly shook his head. "No, I haven't... I haven't seen any Haka like that... I don't, look at the Haka." He blushed slightly, the young Gehaka had seen a beautiful one earlier, and had quickly looked away, running into a nearby building. The blush was from the laughter that rang in his ears still.

Kageki took in the blush, something had happened. "It is smart not to look at Haka." He admitted, looking down. He did not dare look at a Haka when they where near. Sei was the boldest of his kin; he would let his glaze linger on their faces. "I was hoping you had seen my cousin."
