Information: Takes up the Arm Slot. Must be of Advanced skill level (11/15) to craft this. The cloth/leather is to keep it from chafing. By using the gold or silver, your armor suddenly has golden or silver gilt designs upon it. This armor is quite heavy and noisy.

Summon Wind
Magical Incantation: Shoush Skedush.
Category: Non Battle Tome
Type: Neutral
Description:
This short Tome summons a strong wind that blows in the direction of your choosing for a set amount of time. Adept: 30 minutes. Expert: 1 hour. Master: 3 Hours.
The direction can be changed slightly, but cannot be twisted to start a tornado. Temperature is the same temperature as the surrounding air. Speed is a strong breeze:: 17-21 Knots which is about 20-25 mph. Strong enough to make branches sway.

At Expert, you can control and change the speed of the wind.
At Master you can also change the temperature.

While wind is blowing, you must be concentrating on it and cannot not fight or cast any other magic while doing so. Once you break concentration, the spell stops. You can only cast this once a day.

Requirements:
  • 40 INT
  • Adept Stage
  • Civilians can use this in Adept stage as well.

    meaning: last name means Lawless in finnish. No meaning to the first name.
    Birthday: 8/15/2014
    Age: Currently only 8 years old

    Physical Details:
    Hair: Straight black hair, shaved ⅓ on right side, rest is in a braid over her left shoulder.
    Skin: Dark brown, further darkened by constant exposure to the sun.
    Other Details
    Torcha has Three blue "freckles" on right check, the middle one is slightly bigger than the other two.
    Future:
    She paints her upper lip with whatever color she happens to pick up from her selection of makeup. Since she can't see color, her color coordination between her makeup and clothes is a bit odd. After her first sailing of the ocean by herself, she will get a tattoo of waves on her shaved scalp area. She will ask the tattoo artist to make the tattoo in the color of the ocean, as she herself cannot see color right now. She will also gradually get more piercings as she ages.
    Description:
    Torcha is a slight whipcord thin girl. She is just entering that awkward stage of all limbs and clumsiness. Her shins are constantly bruised and she has tiny scratches on all her limbs from her getting into trouble and exploration. Her hair is always braided and has beads woven into it as well as random leaves and twigs that have gotten caught. She has not yet begun to worry about how she looks to others.

    Personality Traits to Keep in Mind:

    Wild-Child
    "Bet 'cha that you can't find anything like this in your stuffy towns!"
    Torcha has always been more at home in the wild than any civilized place. She prefers to explore and survive on her own strength rather then live amongst others and have them help you with everything.
    She sees hunting, sneaking and smuggling as a game. To her outwitting others, be they people or animals, as the greatest game. She loves getting the best of other people, even if it hurts them. Several times she has beaten her siblings at races through rough terrain and not turned back when she hears them fall or get hurt.
    The only rules she follows are those that have been laid down by her Grandma and her Chief. She sees them as wise and strong, and also as teachers. Granny Lomista teaches her the secrets of magic and Chief Borshka as a role-model to emulate. She frequently will sneak after either of them and spy on their activities, hoping to learn even more. Since she is still a child, her stalking is easily spotted and they find it rather amusing.

    Gossiper
    "Hey~ have you heard about what happened yesterday?"
    Torcha loves hearing about people and their lives. She doesn't have to know them personally, she just loves gossip and knowing about random things about people. She loves listening to the gossiping among her older relatives. She likes to try and find the truth among the rumors, but she also just likes telling people things she has overheard and watching their reactions. She has been scolded several times for causing problems among the older children as her not-so-innocent comments has caused a couple of feuds and lots of drama.

    Knowledge-Hungry
    "What's this? Something new?"
    Torcha may be a major gossip, but she also likes knowing facts. She loves learning about the world and everything in it. She wants to know everything, and doesn't like it when people brush off her questions with answers like "you're too young to understand", "maybe when you're older", or "Its too complicated for you to understand." She hates being limited by other's opinions on what she should know or do. She wants to know everything and doesn't really care what rules she breaks.

    Ocean Love/Worship
    "You can keep you gods, I'll have the Ocean."
    As a child, Torcha was fascinated by the sound and sight of the waves lapping up on the shore. She would always go spend her free time looking at the waves and dreaming of sailing and swimming free among the water. As she has grown older, her love of the ocean has grown as well, even when a storm is raging she will still enjoy it. She longs to one day be able to swim freely under the waves, but knows that for now, she must remain on the surface.
    As she has grown older, she has thought about the ocean and what it is and what it does and compared her conclusions to the descriptions of the gods and goddesses of the Dovaas, Orderites, and Oblivionites.. She has come to the conclusion that the ocean is also a goddess. The Ocean is beautiful, powerful, uncontrollable, mysterious, and a giver of life but it can take life too. The only issue is that of a soul, the Ocean might not have one, but if people can exist without a soul, why not a goddess? So she worships the Ocean as a goddess rather then Soudana. Soudana might have made the Oblivionites, but to Torcha, the Ocean is more of a personal goddess, one that doesn't make demands. She sees a reflection of what she is in the ocean and longs to be a part of it
    Since she sees the ocean as her goddess, she will never tell a lie on the ocean. She will also clean up Magescian-made trash off of its surface.
    Her souless state does not bother her as she sees the ocean as her goddess without a soul. She sees herself in the ocean and longs to be apart of it. She wonders sometimes if she will become part of the ocean after her death and hopes she does, but doesn't mention this to anyone.
    While she loves being on or near the ocean, she has no problem being away from it. She often visits her family and tribe because she loves them, but she will always view the ocean as her true home.

    Racial Features
    The Oblivionites were the first race to populate the realm. Created by Soudana as weapons of war, they have become known for their cold exterior, harsh tone, and their careful and precise strategies.

    PHYSICAL FEATURES

      Apprentice
    • No Eyes - All Oblivionites are born into the world with no eyes for they are "soulless beings" intended for war and war alone. They see only waves of things, much like Daredevil sight, only is just a constant effect, instead of triggered by sound.
    • Dark Skin - Their skin tones can range to any dark color you can imagine.
    • Dark Hair - Oblivionites all have the usual dark hair colors, and most styles include long and tied back for both males and females. This, of course, differs from individual to individual and hair dyes are sometimes used.


      Adept
    • Imprinted Weapon - When growth occurs, the only additional things that are potentially added to the artwork is the use of their Imprinted Weapon that they've chosen in their Apprentice stage (Battler Path Only). Besides this, the Adepts are similar, just older, than their previous selves.


      Expert
    • The Crack - During their Expert years, "The Crack" as most refer to it, is the coming of age to obtaining the Oblivionites "Third Eye" (explained more in Master). It's a simple slit that begins to open up above the forehead, but never is fully open until the final stage.
    • Demonic Wings - One pair of demonic bat-like wings begins to sprout during Expert stage upon the middle back. These wings are smaller during this stage and are not capable of full flight but some minimal gliding.
    • Demonic Tail - This is like an Oblivionites third arm in a sense. A demonic-looking tail begins to sprout as well, causing pain at first, but in the end, is very much worth it. This tail can wrap around things and is treated much like a prehensile tail, able to act as a third arm in a sense for the Oblivionites.


      Master
    • Third Eye - This "Third Eye" is the Oblivionites only real eye. They can now see in full color with this eye, which can actually leave the body and float about, allowing the Oblivionite to 'see' from a different perspective if they so desire. It is also used to view magical traps and the like. When the eye leaves the body, there is a constant hole not unlike the other two empty sockets that have been upon the face since birth.
    • Second Wings - Another pair of bat-like wings sprouts from the Oblivionite during the later stages of their life above the first pair. This is when you truly know that an Oblivionite is fully grown by the size of their second wings. When fully grown, these two pairs of wings now allow the Oblivionite some limited flight.


    COMPANION

    Obtaining the Companion is quite a simple task. You must complete the Oblivionite Companion Quest to receive the Companion. Once you've done that, you will gain an extra RPable character and for those on the Battle Path your companion will have a special ability to use during battles.

    The Companions often come in many arrays of colors. But the point of the companion, is that it's actually connected to your character through the magic. It is a piece of your character in another form. It completes your character. The two have an inseparable bond. The Companion is the character's own self in a separate body with separate thoughts. The two are conjoined and if one dies, so does the other.

    Companions are going to follow more your character's color scheme to match what your character may look like. For example: Ekundayo's companion may have a black/dark brown, leathery skin with orange eyes, etc. It just all depends upon the individual character.

    » Battling with a Companion:
    There are two types of Companions: Offensive and Defensive. Offensive types would be a Companion like a lion-like, tiger-like, bear-like, wolf-like, etc. Defensive types would be more like a butterfly-like, rabbit-like, tree-like, and creatures or things that aren't too offensive in nature. Though any creature you decide to take as your companion may be either Offensive or Defensive. That is up to you to decide.

    No matter what type you decide to go with for your Companion, they will receive one spell depending and differing from character to character.

    Offensive Companions will gain an offensive attack (maybe something like the Bleed effect, or an instant damage that they can do 2-3 times per battle) or anything dealing with the other character (if you want your butterfly-like companion to be offensive, they would gain a poison that they can apply to the opponent instead of dealing physical damage).

    Defensive Companions will gain an ability that can be used to buff, heal, or shield your character or an ally (for example: a tree-like companion may be able to heal 50 LP, a butterfly or fairy-like companion may be able to buff up defense with a spell or shield you from one offensive attack per battle).

    The Companions also come with a new buff for battlers. Each time they attack (OFFENSIVE) or use their spell (DEFENSIVE), the character will gain +5 Stat Points to their greatest stat. (ie: Mage = INT, Warrior/Archer = ATK, Barbarian = DEF), up to five (5) turns. So this means you could potentially gain up to +25 stat points in your greatest stat to help you with the battle. Their attacks can also be used ALONGSIDE your characters. So if you wish to make them attack the same turn you do, you may. They don't go off of dice rolls, so whenever you want to throw them at your opponent, you may for that extra boost.

    Father: Tormail
    xxxxA smuggler for the Serenia Wild tribe, he is only with the tribe for half of every year. He adores all children and always brings back little objects for them.

    Mother: Chanista
    xxxxShe travels everywhere with her husband. She will only allow older children to travel with the smugglers. She is a good cook, and makes sure that the children traveling with her and her husband are not spoiled by her husband.

    Grandma: Lomista
    xxxxShe is the focal point of this family as she remains with the main tribe and her younger grandchildren with which ever of her children are not out. She is a mage of some power and loves Torcha as she is the only child or grand child to be a mage. She tells stories and does small magics to entertain the children come night time.

    xxxxShe is a wonderful teacher of magic.

      Thoughts on the Great Engagement:
      Its foolish to try and destroy another race. We were made and we're here to stay. Why can't those distant gods realize this? Those gods act like we have no thoughts or will of our own. Well, I do, and I want to learn about the others not kill them. I'm not going to kill someone just cause a super powerful person said I should. I am my own person and I will decide what I want to do!

      If it came down to which side, Orderite or Obilvionite, she would very unwillingly take the Obilvionite side simply because she doesn't want to die, and is worried that the Orderites might kill all Obilvionites simply because of what they are.
      She thinks that people just need more exposure to the other races so that they'll come to see them as people, not evil creations of an evil god.

      Thoughts on the Magescian Races:
    • She likes to find out all she can find out about everyone. Whether or not she likes them is a different question and depends on the individual.
    • So here are some general thoughts she has on the typically person from each race:

      Oblivionites:
    • Those that get depressed over having no soul need to figure out how to make this the best life that they can since they might not have something afterward.
    • Wishes that they would stop thinking that the community is always better then the individual. She likes being free and independent.

      Orderites:
    • They need to come down off their high horse and see the world as beautiful. The world doesn't need to be "purified", that'll just destroy the world.
    • Wishes that they would stop attacking her on sight just because of her race, it makes it hard to gather information.

      Dovaas
    • They should come down out of there magical swirl and fully enjoy the world. Those Dovaas who have come down here to live are clearly the ones who enjoy life.
    • The fact that the individual has the choice of tribe and their life is awesome, must be fun to be a Dovaa.

      Hybrids:
    • The Hybrids are signs of hope for peace, not shame because they are a sign that some people of each race get along well enough to have children.
    • She likes them and finds their great strength and power useful.

      Thoughts on the Dragons and Khehora:
      Dragons
    • They are dangerous simply because they have a tendency to attack without talking first.
    • Very beautiful, if she can get away with it, she'll watch them without attacking

      Khehora
    • Pretty awesome because they decided they didn't want to serve someone simply because that person created them.
    • Its pretty sad that their children get stolen to serve others without their permission

    Her family is part of the Serenia Wild Tribe. The Adults are all smugglers and the family moved around a lot with the tribe. She had a fairly standard childhood otherwise, and loves her family.
    Some things that she did are:

    She would "ambush" wandering hunters and pretend to be a famous pirate, demanding to see what they had on them. As she was only 5 when she started this, it was thought of as cute and she usually followed them around for a couple of days asking questions about everything until they returned her to the tribe. By the time she was 10, the local hunters were use to her "ambushes" and played along with her game of questions. Each time the ambushed would making up more fantastical lies as answers for her questions then the previous victim.

    During the Mara attacks, her family stayed with the bigger clan and kept the non-combatants as far from danger as possible. Torcha kept getting scolded at because she wanted to see the strange new beings that had been created. Every night, she would attempt to sneak out and get a look. Fortunately the Tribe Chief and her grandma knew her well enough to set a guard to spot her as she, or any other overly curious youngster, attempted to sneak out and get into trouble trying to find the Mara. She was much upset that her curiosity was prevented and wants to hurry up and grow so that she can go out and look at the world.
