Torcha set out just before the sun rose above the horizon, so it should be perfect time to fetch another uruu and take it back, before those stupid barbaric warriors encounter her. She really didn't want to deal with them when they had taken HER uruu without asking or even thinking about why an uruu was fenced in! Why did they never think! It was so annoying. I'm never going to be a warrior, she thought to herself as she gathered pretty flowers to tempt the uuu with. They never think and always take! I hate it when they act without thinking! Its always about who is stronger. I'm going to be a mage and still beat them all up! I'll think up of plans and then go fight them and when cause I used my brain, not just my muscles! As she thought nasty thoughts of revenge she came upon the meadow last time where she had found the uruu. There seem to be even more then last time! Good. Shaking herself out of evil thoughts, she only thought calm things. Maybe if they didn't sense any bad emotions or body language or what ever animals noticed, she'd have an easy time like yesterday. So she settled down into a little area where there were low hanging branches from the trees and laid out a perimeter of the picked flowers. She lazed around and enjoyed the quiet morning, petting uruu as they came up, but none seemed quite right to her. Finally one came up to her, and then curled up besides her and fell asleep. She smiled sleepily, and thought, this one is perfect, I’ll make sure you don’t get eaten like the last one. I’ll take wonderful care of you. Uruu and little girl napped as the sun rose higher.

They were woken by the warriors. Specifically the warriors that had taken her previous uruu. They were out looking for food and stuff and ran across her. She woke up when she was shaken awake. “What? I’m napping..go away…" then she woke all the way up and snapped, "what do you want, to eat all the uruus I find? Well, I won’t let it happen! You won’t get this one!” and Torch grabbed the uruu and put herself between it and her tribe members. “Oh geez, Torch, we didn’t mean to do that, but you should know that uruu are food.” the warrior who had woken her up said. “Oh don’t worry, I’m not likely to forget. Not after what you did.” He sighed, and then picked her up and started walking back to camp, “Look, we are sorry about eating the uruu you wanted as a pet. But why’d you pick a creature regarded as a food to attempt to tame? There are so many more interesting creatures out there." “Run little fluffy one!” Torcha released the uruu as she was being picked up.“Escape these giant luges! I shall find you later!” wiggling around so that she could sit up, she answered “Chief Borksha said gentle, geennntlllle. Got it? Not interesting. Gentle. Uruu are as gentle as you can get.” The other tribesmen smiled and shook their heads. “Well, little one, what are you going to do when you get your ‘geennttllle’ uruu pet? show it off” “No silly, I’ll move up to more ‘interesting’ ones. Eventually the rest of you overgrown weeds will acknowledge me as an adult! I shall not rest! and then! I shall make myself a ship and I won’t be stopped!” “Riiight. Looks like you’ve been up to your usual tricks and listening to the stories that the hunters make up. Good luck with that shrimp.”
The sounds of the familiar quarreling faded and the left behind uruu went back to munching flowers. It had had a very wonderful afternoon napping and now was hungry.
