March 13th, 2006 Liang is to be placed in the care of Ul Russo. She is a calm, polite girl majority of the time, but the techs "forgot" to tell her new mother that she has a bit of a personality issue. Her DNA is the Chinese Feng-Huang, and she was clothed in pink and white pajamas with a wooden fan clutched in her hand.
April 29th, 2006 Liang has grown into a stunning, sophisticated child. She has yet to see the dragon egg D-corp assigned to her, but she is already thinking of names that would be appropriate. She wears a purple silk cheongsam her mother gave her and seems to have gained some self confidence.

Met while Masculine Arith I don't know why I liked this boy so much, I think it's because it was the first day I really felt like getting muddy, and he just happened to feel the same. We played a few games of baseball and catch, and then we had to leave. Looking back, he seems kind of loud, but I think I'd like to meet him again, when I'm my usual self. Rating out of 10: 6
Met while Feminine Keanu This boy was the first other D-Corp child I met. He seemed kind of hyper and a bit annoying at first, and he asked a lot of questions, but he was nice. I think we got off on the wrong foot when I hit him with my fan, but he seemed to forgive me when he found out I was a mythical creature. I wonder what that means? Rating out of 10: 6
Gabby This girl was loud and rude, and I don't like her very much. I met her at the flying class mother made me go to, and she kept touching me. She held my hand when I ran off, I guess she thought it would make me feel better to be touching a complete stranger. She must be crazy. Rating out of 10: 2
Paxton This boy seems to take charge. He was the first to try flying at the class, without even raising his hand, and then he's the reason I went back after I fell. He's alright. Rating out of 10: 4
Alaqua I met Alaqua in the park, in a tree to be exact. I was trying to overcome my fear of flying, but at the time it wasn't going so well. She sort of eased me off the branch, and she cheered me on. It was a lot easier than in class, I guess I wasn't as worried when it was just one person instead of a lot. I hope I can get to know her a little better next time I see her. Rating out of 10: 5
Roule I like this little weasel boy. At first he startled me off my feet, literally. But he calmed down some, I guess the lake has that effect on people, and started asking me about my calligraphy and dragons. I don't know too much about dragons, and I think that must have disappointed him a bit, but calligraphy, that I know. I told him I would make a charm for him to get a dragon, and I meant it as luck, but I think he believed it would be magical. He's a real sweetheart, and so curious. Rating out of 10: 7
Lian This red panda boy shares the same species background as me I believe, Chinese. I met him in a tea house, and unlike a lot of boys he didn't seem like he wanted to be somewhere else. He told me I look like a princess, and was very sweet. I told him likewise that he should be a prince, but I don't think he agreed. I'd love to meet him again sometime. Rating out of 10: 8

Liang as a sweet, mild mannered toddler. She prefers to cover her face most of the time Liang as a sophisticated, proper child. She seems to have gained some self confidence.

Welcome to Your New Home Admittedly, the country house was noisy even when the children were away, what with the dogs and the horses, but that was reason for the girl to be cowering in the back of the van, was it? Before she had left the D-Corp complex with her, they had given her a lot of information that seemed useless. They hadn't said much about why the colorful little girl was acting so strange, or why she was wearing pajamas when the other experiments at her age only seemed to wear pants or skirts, rarely shirts. Maybe that had to do with her shy demeanor? Well, whatever spun off from that attitude, Ul had found before that shyness didn't survive in the Russo household. The girl would adjust and loosen up. "Come on out. Please?" She enticed, trying to lure Liang out. The girl's only response was to blink and hold her fan up higher, almost entirely hiding her face from view.
With her crest held high and her mouth fully hidden, Liang spoke up in one simple word, "Why?" Ul frowned, "Well, because you can't stay in the car." Liang blinked again, confused, "Why?" This might take a while, "Well... The car doesn't have food or a bed." The girl held up a bag of sunflower seeds left on the floor from a trip and waved her fan to the seat, "It does." Ul cringed, "Don't eat those." "Why not?" The girl inquired eyes wide as she now held the bag at arm's length, as if it were something terrible. "Because they'll be stale and they'll probably make you sick. Come on, if we go inside I'll make you some nice roasted almonds, they said you like that."
Liang perked up, shaking her wings out so they wouldn't get cramped, "Truly?" Ul almost burst out laughing at the girl's sincerity, but managed to contain herself, "Yeah, truly." Liang seemed to debate which was the best course of action, and eventually nodded and crawled toward the other door Ul still held open, "Hazelnuts too?" Ul smiled, score one for mother, none for child, "Yeah, whatever you want. We can use the fireplace." This seemed to be just enough of an incentive, as Liang hopped out, unfurled her currently purposeless wings, and followed Ul up the driveway to the house.
