Teagan had come to the athletic park to train as he did almost every morning, and Ul, sensing that Liang was in a very strange mood, had him take her with him. When she had woken up, she had not donned her usual PJs and taken up her fan. No, instead she had rummaged through Teagan's room and found some of his old clothes, taking his grey shirt and shorts from when he was a toddler. The shirt was baggy on her, and the shorts were almost pant length, but she seemed happy. She didn't touch his old shoes though, preferring to go barefoot. Her hair was messy, but she didn't try to fix it, and she'd been strangely loud all morning. So, now that Teagan was running the track, she was left in a sports park, in the strangest of moods, to do what she wanted.
She had made her way across the park from the track, settling in the ballpark with a ball and bat. It was a boring game, to toss the ball up herself and hit it, then run to get it, but she seemed content. For once, she wanted people to come. Yet another thing that contrasted with her normal demeanor. She wanted someone to play with, someone who'd rumble around with her and pitch to her and maybe even play some other games, like soccer or football, anything to get rid of all this extra energy that seemed to be haunting her mind.

Mia made her way into the athletic park, figuring she needed to get a bit of excercise, with Arith tagging along so he could run around. She was a bit tired form trying to get Arith to put on a shirt, finally managing after about 30 minutes of chasing him around the house.Arith was starting to trail away from the track, probably finding something more interesting."Well, go on and play, but be careful."She gave him a quick, stern look to show she meant it as he ran off.
Arith took off away from Mia, his tail wagging as he went. His feet slapped against the dirt as he had shed the shoes stuck on him when his mom hadn't been looking. He stuck a purple and green baseball hat on his head that he had gotten earlier that day as he came to what appeared to be the ballpark.Another person in the park caught his attention and he made his way torwards her, tugging on the bottom of his shirt."Hiya!"

Liang grinned, showing her smile without her normal precaution of holding her fan up over her face. She hadn't even brought her fan, which amazed Ul, and instead of turning away, she took a few jogging steps toward the boy, keeping her bat in hand, "Hi!" Even her voice seemed a bit different, bolder, and frankly it creeped a few of her siblings out, so this was best, for her to be around people who'd never met her and therefore couldn't see the difference. This boy seemed like he'd be fun, maybe he'd want to play with her! Maybe he could throw and she would hit and then they could switch and it would be lots of fun. She saw no need for an introduction, so she just held the bat out to him, "Wan' play?"

Arith grinned back at the girl, ears perked forward in a happy manner. He looked down at the bat as it was held out, taking it and holding up."Sure!"He had never really played baseball before, though had seen it on tv once while flipping through the channels, and it had looked fun and didn't really seem to hard.Just a bunch of people hitting a ball and running around, or atleast thats what it had looked like to him.He set the top of the bat agaist the groud, pushing his hat up alittle so he could see better."So wha' I do?"

Liang jogged over to the pitcher's mound of one of the diamonds, pointing to homeplate, "Go there!" She gripped the ball tightly, stretching her arm like she'd seen the guys on TV doing. Sure, she didn't have a mit, but she could catch just as easily with her hands. Her wing feathers fluttered when a little breeze came by, and she spanned them out, popping her back cheerfully. This new kid would be fun to play with, whatever his name was. Names weren't really important in sports, just winner and loser. And even then, they could always play another game, so it didn't matter. "Go there and hit!" She shouted, pretending she was throwing the ball to show him.

Arith hurried over to homeplate looking down at it for a second before standing to the side of it.He raised the bat like he had seen the guy on tv do, giving a nod to show he understood. He narrowed his eyes and stuck his tongue out of the side of his mouth in concentration."Okay, I ready!"He smiled and layed his ears back a bit as he waited for the ball to be thrown to him.

Liang turned her wings back so they wouldn't get in the way of her pitch and blew her crest feathers out of her face. "Here goes!" She yelled, letting loose a strong overhanded pitch. It was a bit crooked, but stayed on course toward the plate. He'd probably be able to hit it, it wasn't a curve ball or a fast ball or anything, just a nice simple pitch, if a but low. She was excited, punching the palm of her right hand like she'd seen the real players doing, ready to run and catch it if and when he hit it.

Arith's ears perked forward as the girl yelled, his tail wagging slightly as he watch the ball come nearer. When it came within range of hitting he swung the bat, spinning a bit and falling onto his bottom, but managing to hit it.The ball flew out and up a bit, nor going very far, but making it atleast to the pitcher's mound, if not a few steps further. He pushed himself back up, tail wagging, as he watched the ball start to fall downwards."I hit it!"

She took a few steps back to retrieve the ball, holding it up triumphantly, "Yeah!" Back at the pitcher's mound, she grinned, "Again?" Maybe this time he wouldn't fall over, and he'd hit it further, and then she could run to catch it. Practice always made someone better, right? She liked this game, even with just two people, so she wanted to get better so she could play with more.

Arith got back in the same spot he had been in and raised the bat up, ready to swing."Yeah!"He placed his feet a bit further apart, hoping it would help him not to fall this time. His tail wagged abit as he grinned, ears laying back slightly."Ready!"

Liang licked her lips, deciding to try a curve ball this time. She didn't really know how to do it, but she was going to try her own way. Drawing her arm back, she set the ball on her fingertips and slung forward, giving the ball a little spin. The spin however, made it shaky, and it came at the plate a little high and to the left, and Liang hoped he could hit it.

Arith's ears perked forward when she threw the ball, though it was a bit different from the first. As it came closer he became aware that it was too close to hit very well.He let out a sound that was similar to a yelp and took a jump-step backwards, swinging at the ball as he did.Surprisingly, or atleast to him, he managed to hit it, and he hadn't fallen! The ball was hit a little higher than the last, and possibly further.

Liang ran back, holding her hands up to try and catch the ball. She ran a little too far, and it started to fall a few feet in front of her. "Oops!" She shouted, diving forward to catch it in her palms. Standing back up with the old clothes streaked in mud, she grinned, "Got it! Good!"

Arith had been leaning forward a bit, watching to see it she caught it, and she did!He threw his arms up, almost braining himself with the bat, and gave a cheer."Yaay!"His tail wagged and he lowered his arms, setting the end of the bat against the ground.

Liang giggled when he almost hit himself, and then ran toward him, holding the ball out, "Fun!" She wanted to hit, but if he wanted to hit a few more times she could pitch more. "Wan' pitch?" She probably wouldn't be too good at hitting, afterall her wings did have a habit of getting in the way sometimes, what with how big they were. But she was learning to fly, so it would be worth the annoyance.
