-Name:Avani अवनी -Meaning:East Indian: Means "earth" in Sanskrit. -Birthday:Fri Nov 01, 2013 8:20 am -Age:Apprentice stage age is around 8-10 -Sex:Female
-Hair Color:Pumpkin Orange -Eye Color:Dark-ish Green -Skin Color:Peach
-Clothing:Avani loves dresses when she's not farming or running around with her friends. She is usually dressed in her cream dress with a dark green jacket trimmed with orange on the cuffs, and a green undershirt. She has on pumpkin orange and dark green socks. She also has a wing cover that is green with orange beads hanging off of them. She loves the covers so much that she only wears them on special family gatherings and holidays. She also sports pumpkin earnings her grandmother gave her before she died.
-Description:Avani has peach colored skin from her mother and green eyes and Pumpkin orange hair from her father. She is about average height for a child of 8-10 years old, yet wants to be as tall as her mama and papa. Perhaps she will be in between?
-Personality:Avani loves life. She has a smile for everyone, and tries her best to have fun if she is bored with anything. She can always entertain herself in any situation. If she is angry, she usually holds her tongue unless she knows she can win an argument, but usually ignores anyone she does not like. When tinkering, she can get so focused on a project that she tones out anything else.
-Likes:Her plushie pumpkin Kin, Cake, Mama's cooking, being with Papa in the fields, digging in the dirt, climbing trees, nice people, reading books on farming methods and mechanics, the color green and orange, tinkering.
-Dislikes:Spiders, broccoli, baths, mean and rude people, finding out her loyalty is one sided, working the plow with the Hastar's, having to quit her projects or fun for meals and such.
-Strengths:Loyal, curious, helpful, brave (except when spiders are involved), decent knowledge of farming methods from reading books.
-Weaknesses:Her curiousness, her tinkering, her adventuring, her mother's cakes and cookies.
-Quirks:Loves to climb things and try to glide down. Once she was stopped just in time from jumping from the house roof. She loves to go on "adventures" with her friends and stay out of doors all day. She also tries to get her friends to go along with an adventure if they are around. If she gets sad or lonely she just finds her stuffed pumpkin "Kin", and holds him tight.
-Fears:Spiders, loosing the farm, loosing her family and friends, failing at her major tinkering.
-History:Avani and her parents have moved from their hometown to their new home next to Sueno and her family.
The reason for this move was because her father, Talmei, wanted his own farm to run away from his family. However, his mother was the owner of his boyhood home, and he stayed near there to help out in her last few years, even if it was uncomfortable for him. Talmei's elder twin brother was promised the farm upon Avani's grandmother's death, so that made him even more uncomfortable to help out on the farm that had been his home all his life.
While he loved his family, when the chance came for Talmei and his wife, Maiika, to buy their own land away from the family, they took it, knowing then that they could have a little earth of their own to make money from.
Avani didn't mind leaving the old homestead, there was one of her cousins that made her angry most of the time with him teasing about her tinkering and reading. While she loved getting into mischief and trouble, she loved to read and tinker as well, so she had to do so in secret.
Avani loved her grandmother the most outside of her parents. Gailia told story after story of herself and Avani's grandfather, and how they built the farm up from nothing, and that she was happy that both her sons inherit their parent's talent and love for farming. Before she passed on she gave Avani the earrings she wears now, pumpkin earrings her husband gave her the anniversary of getting the farm started. She also made Avani the pumpkin plush she carries around when she was born, knowing the child would be a girl. Avani always remembers her grandmother's love of farming as the strength she needs to find her place on her father's new farm, and hopes to one day take over the operations from her father.

~Family~
-Papa:Avani's papa, Talmei.
He loves his family very much and would protect them with his life. He comes from the east of where his home is now, leaving his family's farm. He loves his twin brother, Akali, but needs to have his own land, and a sense of independence from his family.
After helping around that farm as his brother took over management from their mother, Gailia, he felt it was time to leave when his mother passed away almost a year ago.
He dotes on his wife and only child, his daughter Avani.
-Mama:Avani's mama Maiika.
Maiika grew up on a farm that was near Talmei's, and were childhood friends. They grew up and fell in love and married.
Maiika did not mind moving to Talmei's family farm, she had the same bond with her's and was pleased to have so many people around to love. However she did understand Talmei's yearning to have his own land and place to give to his children. Though moving to a new town was hard, she made the move.
When she found out she was having a baby, she was ecstatic, and was appreciative for the advice on children from Gailia and Lalika, Akali's wife. She wished to have a boy so Talmei could have an heir. However, when Avani was born, she was still ecstatic, for this child was Talmei's and that is all that mattered to her.
Though Avani tempts her temper, she loves and dotes on her only child.
-Uncle:Avani's paternal uncle, Akali.
Just a few minutes older than his twin brother Talmei, Akali knew he would one day inherit the farm. Just like his brother, he felt the pull to the land as his ancestors before him had. Though he was sad to see his brother leave the family farm, he knew his brother well, and that Talmei wanted a farm of his own.
He has a wife, Lalika, and two sons, Srenlei and Rainei
-Aunt:Avani's aunt by marriage, Lalika.
Lalika is Akali's husband and sister-in-law to Avani's parents. She grew up in the town near their farm, and like Maiika, was a childhood friend of Akali before they married.
She has two children with Akali, Srenlei and Rainei.
-Cousins:Avani's older cousins, Srenlei and Rainei.
Srenlei and Rainei are different as night and day. Where Rainei is kind and nice, Srenlei is not so kind and nice.
Srenlei teased Avani for liking to read and being a tomboy and liking to farm. He said only boys can farm and that Avani would just be in the way. Many times did he push Avani into a mud puddle just to keep her from playing with him and his friends.
Rainei would be understanding of Avani's dreams, and why she wished to become a farmer. He would also let Avani tag along with him and his friends when they would go out to play. He is also the one who got her interested in reading about farming and farm mechanics.
-Granny:Avani's paternal grandmother, Gailia.
Gailia was very happy when Avani was born. She knew from an early stage that Avani would be born a girl, just "Something about the pregnancy..." she would say to Avani's mother. She also gave Avani her pumpkin earrings before she passed away saying that they suited Avani more than they ever did her.
She made her a pumpkin doll called Kin that Avani would carry around with her everywhere.
She would also tell Avani things about farm life and farming that Avani would store away till the time she needed them.
