Name: Nicholas Morton
Age: 29
Occupation: Carpenter
Orientation: Gay
Spouse: Single
Appearance: A blonde haired blue eyed angel, with the physique of the gods. Nicholas certainly isn't a pretty little waif with all that heavy lifting, not to mention hauling whole trees back from the forests. He doesn't tend to wear anything too fancy, since it would be a shame to rip nice clothes in all his work. He does, however, allow himself to splurge in buying really nice saws and equipment. He's also fairly tall, at 6'0", and is considered the perfect climbing person by many of the children in the area.
Likes: Children, working hard, seeing smiles all around, going off to the Wardwood...
Personality Quirks: Nicholas has always loved children. Perhaps this comes from having to play with his two younger sisters throughout his life. He doesn't really see himself as being a father though, more of a big brother to those who stop by his own shop. He may excel at making furniture, but nothing makes him happier than repairing a broken toy or even making one for a small child. He has never been known to completely finish one of his side projects, but will make sure he gets any commission done on time. While he does work rather slowly, his furniture is known for being extremely solid and beautiful. He manages to get the finish to feel as if it was silk, while still letting the wood's beauty shine through. While many would think he would sell exclusively to the noble families around, he does discount his work heavily for those of lower income.
History: Nicholas has lived in Oldcastle as long as he can remember, with his parents and two younger sisters. As his father was a trader, Nicholas was left to be the man of the house for most of his life. His mother was often repairing clothing to make ends meet, leaving Nicholas to entertain his two sisters. When he was old enough, he ended up apprenticing under a local carpenter, where he learned his trade. His mother is still around, though his father has gone missing after going North for his work. His two sisters have moved to Palisade with their spouses, and he rarely hears from either of them.
