The minimum age is 10. This is the age when individuals can first start on their Pokemon adventure.
Characters must be completely human. They can dress up as Pokemon, but cannot have any physical Pokemon traits.
Cosplays of existing characters from other series are not allowed.
Because of the above rule, please refrain from using images that do not belong to you, or were not created for you as character images.
Psychic trainers must be approved before RPing (PM the mule).
Try to keep telepathic communications to a minimum, with the possible exception of a psychic trainer with a psychic Pokemon. To qualify for telepathic communications, the Pokemon must have demonstrated telepathic abilities in the show, and not be limited to one specific Pokemon (example: Lucario will not be approved to have telepathic abilities).
Keep it PG-13.
We have the right to reject any characters that we think do not fit within the guidelines, or are too overpowered. If you are unsure, send the mule a PM.
Okay, so you've thought up of a character for this shop. Now what?
- Make a journal!
Journal Guidelines
The journal title MUST include [Trainer profession here].
If you choose to list multiple trainers in the same thread instead of individual journal threads, make sure their character profession and names fit in the title, and that your journal is neat enough for staff to be able to understand.
Wild pokemon can have journals. Put [Wild] in the title and use the new Pokemon registration form with wild as the specialty.
If you had a journal in the old shop, note that all journals have been moved to the archives. You may request to have it moved back if you edit it to follow the new format, and provide a link to it. PM this to the mule.
Inactive journals with little character/Pokemon information may be deleted after a period of time to aid in subforum organization.
Journals are not required unless you want your character's profession to develop. They are just convenient places to store all your rp links, character info, and other stuff for people to stalk.

- If you have a Pokemon on the old cert, you do not need to get a recert to play with them. Just register it and it will be added to the new owner's list.
If you are changing a registered Pokemon's specialty but have the old cert, re-register the Pokemon with its new specialty and make a note that you are changing its specialty.
