╫Background Information╫

While still a boy no older than 4, the parents of Andrew Grover lost him, forgetting him all alone at a small train station as they moved to Nocturne. How they forgot him is irrelevant to him, but he only knows that they took with them his two-year-old brother, William, and the baby that was still in the mother's uterus. Feeling abandoned, Drew began to roam the wilderness of this forsaken land, and found a small shake in the outskirts of the kingdom of Kranila. The old lady and man that lived there took in Andrew and took care of him until he was old enough to hold his own. Once he was sixteen, however, a rampant werewolf came across the small, forsaken shack, killing off the two while Drew was out catching dinner. Arriving back to a bloody mess, Drew became overloaded with rage and anger, feeling as if his insignificant life mattered nothing in this world. Soon after, he heard of the death of his family in Lumira city, the only survivor being his younger brother, William. As he then continued to travel, he came across the great ocean, which he had heard rumors of a lone ghost ship swaying lazily in the waters, never moving from it's secure position. This interested him, and this is where Andrew Grover's story now picks off.

╫Background Information╫




Born to unknown parents Demi has always been an orphan. Despite having been placed with a number of families and institutes he never settled in one place for more than a few days before accidents or crimes began. Despite a few investigations it has yet to be proven that he caused the accidents or committed the crimes but he is still under observation from some authorities for his past actions. Demi rarely speaks of his past but at times he is overcome by urges to harm others such as the priest at the church he was first taken into and the family that first adopted him. Once he reached his teens however it seemed he reformed though his occasional verbal torment of others has marked him as a cruel person in his prior schools. Now that he is near his age of majority he has taken to studying to become a biochemist as his interest with experimentation and manipulation has driven him to learn as much as possible about the world and life itself. Unlike many biochemist though Demi seeks to control and master life so that he can either kill or subjugate all humanoids in the world.

The Belzell are insect like, they take the form of a giant black and red bee. They tend to come in swarms of three. They would fly towards the opponent and try to rip them apart with their frontal limbs. They also seem to puke out a stick material that will render your weapon useless, you can sill try to beat the crap out of them with your fists but they can puke on you and slow you down as well. Being insect like their exoskeleton can only take up to C rank attacks without breaking.

Incubus

Seduction
The way the succubus/incubus seduces the opposite sex with their charms. Regardless of rank, the opposite sex will find it very difficult to deny them. If the subject is two ranks lower then the user, they're automatically seduced. The higher ranks can be as well, but it'll be more difficult. The succubus/Incubus must use this to have its true effect. Once captured the target focuses only on the succubus/incubus, sort of like tunnel vision blocking out the surroundings

Tail Lash
An offensive move, the user channels energy into the arrow head part of their tail making it sharp as a sword and whips it at the target to slash or impale. This lasts for two posts

Nails
The user grows up to ten-inch long sharp nails that can slice and dice opponents. Lasts up to ten posts, and sharpness increases with rank similar to the arachnoid razor wire.

E= sharp enough to cut through flesh, but not much else.
D= Can cut through bone easily
C= As sharp as iron.
B= Can cut through iron.
A= Can cut through steel
S= unknown, unattainable, to be announced via quest

Flight
(requires adept rank)
The user can now use their wings to fly temporarily. They can take to the sky and fight in midair, making themselves faster thanks to aerodynamics. However, this only lasts 5 posts.

Seductive Bite
A move copying off the vampires, the succubus/incubus bites the neck of their target, slowly draining their energy and replenishing their own. The catch is that the victim will be overwhelmed with the feeling of pleasure and find it harder and harder to stop them. Each post that goes by the target is drained of D rank energy and user replenished by such.

Energy Blitz
Another offensive skill for the succubus/incubus. Charging their hands with their energy, the user can fire off a ball of energy at the target. The element depends on the element of the user. For example, fire is clear, water is a blast of freezing water, lightning is a ball of lightning, earth is a chunk of stone, air is a sphere of wind.

Gorgon's Stare
A unique skill exclusive for the incubus/succubus which when eye contact is made, the user has a chance of "petrifying" the target. If the user is two ranks lower, it works automatically. If the target is higher rank it cannot work.

The user can now manipulate their energy into the form of a whip. The whip is about 5ft long, and is consisted of the user's elemental energy. same as before, fire is whip of fire, air is a whip of air, lightning is whip of lightning, water is a whip of water, earth is a whip of earth etc. This lasts only two posts

Kiss of Death
(requires having a master, master rank)
A unique technique that can possibly kill a human being, and another energy stealing skill. The user kisses the target, their tongue slithering into their mouth which enraptures the target, making it extremely hard to fight back. If the target is only human, they'll last only two posts before they die and energy absorbed due to the lack of stamina/physical energy. A normal human can be killed in two posts or less, the lower the rank the quicker. Others that are not pure human will only drain but not kill. Each post drains C rank energy.

Sinful Art: Dance of the Succubus/Incubus
(requires having a master, master rank)
The Succubus/Incubus' best and yet most powerful seduction technique in their arousal. Once the user has used seductive bite or seduction, they can follow up with this technique (you should know how to lead into this). The succubus/incubus will under go intercourse with the victim, making them completely at their mercy....to a point. This technique is very draining for the victim, making it very dangerous for them should they be the target of this skill. For every post during intercourse, the target will lose S rank energy, SS rank if your a human. After four posts a human being will die due to the inability to keeping up with satisfying the user, not having enough stamina or energy. However, the victim may have a chance to resist, though its very slim, almost impossible. If the user is higher rank than their victim, there's no hope and the user can still keep an eye and be aware of their surroundings. If the user is same rank as the victim, the victim has extremely small chance of breaking free, and the user will have to focus more on the act than their surroundings, leaving them vulnerable to outside attack possibly. If the user is lower rank than the victim, then they will have a better chance to escape, and the user will have to almost completely focus on what they are doing, exposing them to outside danger. However, seductive bite and the kiss of death can be stacked on top of this act making it extremely dangerous should you be the enemy/target. This technique cannot work on the user's master

Description: Though this is quite erratic. This basic skill's energy usage is equivalent to the power of the deflected fire-based attack.

Flame Dagger

Description: Creating blowtorch-like jets from the fist or fingertips to use as close range attacks within meters. These lack the actual ability to block physical objects.

Flame Whip

Requires: Fire stream
Description: An extension of a fire stream, this continuous stream of flame can be used as a whip. Only a range of four meters.

Fire Stream

Description: Yet another basic ability. With a movement you shoot continuous streams of fire well its continuous for that post and it is a direct stream.


Blaze Arcs
Rank: C
Requirements: Fire Stream
Description:Spinning kicks or sweeping arm movements create rings and arcs to slice larger, more widely spaced, or evasive targets.

Fire Bomb
Rank: C
Requires: Fire Stream
Description: A close range attack, maximum two meters. You create fire at the end of a limb and strike it at a close target. If the target is still close it hits with explosive force. If they move out of the two meter range it becomes a fire stream but still costs C rank.

Shield of Flames
Rank: C
Requires: Flame deflection
Description: Creates a protective fire shield around the front of, or the whole body of, an elementist that can deflect attacks and explosions. This is only for deflecting the blow unless its water or wind.

Flame charge
Rank: B (energy usage depends on charge level)
Requires: Sage rank
Description: You hold the fire attack to increase its power. This hold takes an entire post powering it up to B rank if its bellow B if its above you power it up to S rank with only using A rank energy. Cannot be done with Fire shield or deflection. You create the fire first in the body part then charge it for this attack. If its S rank you use up an S + B energy.

Fire lashes= You create several ten meter fires.
Flame Blade= Can cut through steel.
Whip = Gains extra three meters and can be done with two.
Bomb= Can be done at six meter range.
Arcs= Can now cut through rock but only
Dagger= Gains a meter range
Stream= Continues for three posts
Fireball= Becomes a refrigerator sized ball of fire.
Wall of Fire= It grows and rushes away from the creator for ten meters.
Fire Jet= Sustained flight for ten posts
Augmentation = The fire actually grows as its about to hit the target.

Flame Blade
Rank: B
Requirements: Flame Dagger Blaze Arcs
Description: A more advanced version of a blaze arc and Flame Dagger, they can narrow their fire arcs to create thin blades of fire that they can launch at their opponents. This move is known to cut through rock.

Fire Lashes
Rank: B
Requires: Fire whip
Description: An extension of the Fire Whip, you can create a long lash of Fire, and bring them down on their enemies, or several lashes to envelop an area in flames. A range of ten meters for long ones or three meters for several short ones.

WALL OF FIRE!
Rank: A
Requirements: fire shield Master rank
Description: One of the fire element's few defensive abilities, either a situated explosion or controlled inferno, this wall concentrated flames acts as a barrier to incoming attacks. It may be a more powerful version of a Fire Shield. It not only protects against attacks, but when used right, can be used to stealthily escape from foes. It does not absorb attacks but deflects them.
Can be done ON WATER!


Berserker

Iron Form
Rank: D
Description: once it is activated its limit is ten posts. You meditate pre-battle or while you are not being attacked it takes two undisturbed posts of meditation to activate.
In iron form your body is as tough as iron meaning your punches hurt and getting hit by swords wont usually hurt you. Only C rank and above attacks can hurt you in this form

Ki Barrage
Rank: D
Skill description: A weaker version of the Ki Assault skill. However, what it lacks for the same power makes up for the number. The user throws punches and kicks made purely of energy up to 5x each. (meaning 5 from hands and 5 from feet). These can easily break through D rank things and is ranged. At Expert rank, they can send double the amount. Each blow feels like a punch

Ki Assault
Rank: C
Description: You throw a punch that is purely energy. This punch can easily break C rank things out of the way and is ranged.

Mind over Matter
Rank: C
Description: A non combat skill, this is useful after battle. You slowly heal your wounds during this meditation period. Though it cannot heal a removed limb, it can heal anything that did not kill you will be healed over time. The C rank energy usage is constant till the wounds heal. The amount of time for a wound to heal varies due to the wound's seriousness.

Light cuts and even deep ones as long as no muscle tissue is torn is one post.
Torn muscles and fractured bones take two posts.
Major Burns take three posts due to their nature.
Light burns would take two posts.
Punctured organs would take ten posts.
If you are disturbed you must start over since it is a form of meditation. Note if the wound is that serious you may die as you try to heal it this way. Poisons wont be cured.

Catch Blade
Rank: C
Requires: Activated Iron form
Description: This skill takes quite a bit of skill to pull off. You wait for someone who uses a sword or some sort of bladed weapon to attack and with the proper timing you catch it with one hand unharmed. This only works if the attack is not a C ranked attack. Masters can catch without the iron form and remain unharmed.

Force Breaker
Rank: C
Requires: Novice Rank
Description: A skill that can devestate those struck by it. By focusing energy into one of the user's arms, it'll grow slightly and begin streaming with energy. The strength in that arm grows by +2 ranks. Upon punching an object or another with the charged up arm, all the energy will be let loose in one point at once, resulting in a explosive, destructive punch. This can easily shatter concreate and even steel walls should your strength already be 9 or higher. After usage, this skill cannot be used for another three posts and the strength returns to normal in the arm. The only negative side to this skill is upon striking the target, when the energy explodes the bone in your arm becomes fractured from the sudden release of concentrated energy. Using this skill again without medical attention will result in the bone shattering, requiring master rank cleric to heal the injury. Until then, that arm will be useless.

Sword Arm
Rank: C
Description: A technique to catch others off guard easily. While in steel form or iron form, the user straightens out their hand to where its completely open and the fingers are together, like you do when you high five someone or of your crazy solute hitler. The energy flowing into the arm, the hand becomes as sharp as a sword. Capable of cutting through iron if iron form is active, capable of cutting through steel if steel form is active. This brings a whole new meaning into close combat, for the beserker now makes his body even more deadly a weapon. This lasts for five posts, though can be deactivated before then if needed. This skill literally lives up to its name. The drawback is during activity, the arm that is under the sword arm effect is incapable of using any skills.

Fighting Spirit
Rank: C
Description: A skill that gets the user pumped up, requiring at least two posts of undisturbed meditation. After the meditation, the user will be coated in a firey red energy of their fighting spirit, their will power. The user's strength and speed temperarily increases by one rank. At master rank it'll raise by two ranks. This lasts for 10 posts, and can only be used once in battle, or prior to battle.

Dark Ascent to Madness
Rank: C
Requires: Must be Adept, Berserker and must do the mission required for this skill.
Skill description: This skill allows the berserker to transform into their true state (All berserker states will be different). This skill ups the speed and the strength of the user by 1 extra point. All skills for the beserker form must be approved in the custom forum. However, while in this state your friend and foe become the same. You cannot tell which is which and are likely to attack anything that comes near you. All you will know in this state is blood and death. However, due to the nature of this beast, it is strongly recommended that you find yourself a TAMER. The Tamer will be the one person able to calm down the berserker form. It is the one person they trust more than anyone else and the one person they confide in. Tamers are the only people who can calm down the person in this berserker state.

RULES for the skill:
1)When a berserker goes into this state, since they loose their rational thinking they'd get this stat boost. I take this from the Anime Record of Lodoss war: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight, since one of the side chars becomes berserker and looses all reasoning. He also seems to have some added power.

2) Berserkers using this skill MUST have a Tamer. A Tamer is someone who knows the berserker personally and can "soothe the savage beast". If a person has this skill and uses it without their tamer, they will fight until their opponent dies, they die, or they get knocked out. Even after the battle is over, if there is no tamer they can't transform back.

3) All skills for the berserker must be custom made and approved. Each berserker is going to be unique afterall. :3


This skill will last until your energy is depleted, you are knocked out, or your Tamer calms you down.


Note on the mission: The mission will consist of the berserker adept heading up the coldest mountain where a mirror lies within one of the caves. The trainee will need to step through this mirror. Once through they will witness all the horrible events in their lives over and over. Once the person finally snaps, their berserker form will manifest itself and assimilate with them, giving the promise of strength and speed while taking away knowledge of right and wrong.

Gentle Strike

Requires: Master rank
Description: The gentle strike is a single attack meant to cripple the target. This is a series of weak punches, one behind the elbow one behind the knee below the ribs and one at the back of the neck. These strikes have a certain amount of energy from the Berzerker and upon impact will be released. This energy is made to disrupt the flow of the target's energy thus making the target unable to use his skills for ten posts even out of battle.

Havoc Palm
Rank: B
Description: A quick and powerful strike of the palm this can cause massive damage. You first take whatever stance feels comfortable and then energy is focused into your palm. You take one step at the target turn 360 then hit the target with your palm the force you will exert is equivalent to an explosion that can blow up a boulder. You can be dodged when doing this and it can be prematurely detonated if it hits something other than the target. You may choose to use this on buildings to knock them down, use your imagination.

Steel Form

Description: It is the same as iron form except you are now as tough as steel. Only B rank and above attacks can hurt you.

Awakening
Rank: A
Description: Every berserker can attain Inner Peace, but you can go further by using that inner peace to your advantage. The berserker will gain two strength and two speed for the duration of 10 post, however, when the fifteen post are done, all of the skills the berserker uses will cost one more rank in energy cost. Hand to Hand/Weapon skills will now cost energy for 10 post. Cool down of 10 post.


Seul

Ritual Bond
Type: Passive/ Supplementary

Description: One of the key factors in what makes Seul such distinguished body-guards, Bonding is a ritual that a Seul can undergo with another willing person that connects the two in a unique way. When Bonded with someone the Seul and the Bond Partner can always tell which general direction the other is in, the basic condition of their Partner (ie. if they're happy, sad, sleeping, in danger, etc.), and they will know the manner and time of death of the other should one of them happen to fall. But while simply Bonding with anyone does provide special benefits, when a Seul Bonds with a Mage, the effects are even more amazing.

When Bound to a Mage, not only does a Seul recieve all of the afore-mentioned benefits, but they also receive a number of other benefits along with their Dominus/Domina, the title given by Seul to their Mage Bond Partners.

- As long as the Seul and their Dominus are within the same city or the same country, the two can communicate telepathically.
- Both Seul and Dominus will always be able to tell the exact location of the other.
- The Seul gains a resistance to magical compulsions, such as the Seduction ability of the Succubus. When a Seul is targeted by a magical compulsion effect, the Seul is treated as if one rank higher when determining whether they can resist the compulsion or not.
- While in the same zone, the Seul and their Dominus can share their energy with one another. (Up to 10% of their partners energy pool can be accessed as if their own)
- Seul gain resistance to magic-based skills, treating spells of equal or lower rank to themselves as if one rank lower in terms of effectiveness, applies only to offensive skills.

Description: Seul are trained to sense when magic is being used near them, able to sense even the tiniest Flows of The Source as it is channeled if they are close enough to the caster. Seul can sense when anyone in the same area is using magic, the stronger the spell is the easier it is for the Seul to get information about the spell and the location of the caster.

Description (Requires Mage Bond): It is the duty of the Seul to protect their Dominus, even if it means putting themselves in harm's way. Sometimes, however, it is all the Seul can do to take away the pains of their master. By laying their hands on their Dominus and channeling The Source, a Seul can heal their Dominus by transferring their wounds to their own body. The wounds can either by fully or completely transferred, so if the Dominus has a gash on their arm, the Seul can either transfer the wound onto his own body in its entirety or he can transfer "half" of it, leaving two partly healed wounds on both parties.

Bladeworks

Description: Sometimes a Seul cannot always have his weapon on hand, but with this ability that is of little importance. By Weaving flows of The Source, a Seul can create a weapon forged of pure arcane energy. This weapon acts as a normal weapon in all ways, save one. In addition to using this ability to create a weapon to be wielded normally, the weapon can also be created and then used as a projectile attack. Forming the weapon in the air, the Seul can then propel the weapon towards their opponent at great speed. (up to two weapons may be created at a time)

Arcane Armor
Type: Defensive

Description: Weaving the flows of energy around their body, the Seul can protect themselves from harm by creating a sort of armor formed from pure arcane energy. This invisible suit of armor covers the Seul from head to toe, and will deflect 1 C-rank technique, 2 D-rank techniques, and up to 4 E-rank techniques. In addition, the armor will deflect up to 4 regular attacks.

Hand of the Master

Description (Requires Mage Bond): Because of the unique connecction formed by the Bond, Seul can "store" a spell cast by their Dominus and use it at a later time. The Mage uses the same amount of energy to "store" the spell as it does to cast the spell normally, the Seul then pays the C-rank cost for Hand of the Master, and an additional 10 energy to "cast" the stored spell. Only skills found on the Mage skill list may be stored, and only spells of equal or lower rank to the Seul. One spell may be stored at a time.


Hand-to-Hand/Weapon Style(s)

Muay Thai
Stage 1
The first stage doesn't concentrate on the knees and elbows, as it is known for, but rather the basic tools through which the elbows and knees are used. First the user learns the basic kicks, blocks, grabs, and punches usually learned through simple practice against strong, sturdy targets so that they may begin deadening the nerves and strengthening the bones in their lower shins. They also practice jumping around on tires and really anything bouncy to develop a set rythm to their movements as well as bounce around in a crouched position for several hours to build leg strength. By the end of the stage users will be able to jump significantly higher than the average individual, and this skill will increase as the user goes through the ranks and trains their body to their utmost potential.

Clench
Rank: E
Description: The clench is a grabing move used in close quarters where the user wraps his arms around his opponent's neck and brings them in close. Much like the saying "leading the bull by the horns" the user can force his opponent into whichever direction he wants by pulling on their neck and head. Once an opponent is captured in it there is little they can do to escape since most retaliations will be quieted from the opponent being pushed off balance, or they will be too weak to stop the tough muay-thai fighter. It is from this position that the user can deliver multiple incredibly deadly knee strikes, which with their training can be performed easily in the close distance while delivering their full power.

Knight's Shield
Rank: D
Description: This is a defensive stance the fighter can use to both strengthen their footing and ease damage from incoming blows. This is done by raising one leg off the ground and bringing the elbow and forearm of the same side down to the raised knee to create something that looks similar to a shield in front of the user (see pic). By using the strongest bones in the body that they've been training, this defense can completely block D-rank and below attacks while also lowering the damage dealt from higher attacks by one rank. The user can't move while in the stance, and it only prevents damage from the user's front side, leaving the back and sides vulnerable.

Elephant Kick
Rank: D
Description: This kick is, simply enough, a strong roundhouse-like kick used from the back leg to fully extend and strike the head or torso of an opponent. There are two things that set this off from most kicks of its kind though, and the first is the part of the leg the kick uses to strike an opponent. Rather than using their foot, this kick strikes with the lower part of the user's shin. The hard bone creates more force and generates a more damaging impact. Also, unlike other kicks this one fully unloads the user's power. This is good for if it lands, as it will go through most defenses and even possibly break an arm that tries to stop it, but if it flat out misses then the force will follow the kick and spin the user completely around, making them turn their back to their opponent. Even if it is blocked this kick will send most people flying through a tree fifteen feet away, but missing often gives the opponent a split-second to strike at your back.

Stage 2
The next stage gives the user the mark of a Muay Thai expert, the shins and knees. I say mark, because first they have to train their legs so hard that they change them permanently. Kicking a particular tree found in the country, either bananna or bamboo trees for they have the desired flexibility, deadens the nerves in a user's shins and destroys the bone in them. Instead when the bone is reconstructed, it is made stronger and thicker to take more damage without breaking. A user must kick these trees over a thousand times a day to achieve this effect. Flexibility training is also used to better the user's physical condition, and by the end of this stage the user should be able to perform splits on a moment's notice.

Hanuman visits Lanka
Rank: C
Description: A powerful and fast attack where the user takes a high jump forward and strikes an opponent's head with the sharp tip of their knee. The crushing damage is tremendous and even if blocked the power can still send their opponent to the ground or stun them. This attack can also be used to attack opponents in mid-air, in which case the strike hits them in the solarplex.

Shin Stomping
Rank: E
Description: An easy way to block attempted kicks from opponents in close range. While the enemy attempts to bring their leg forward or up to kick, the user delivers a fast and painful strike down on the opponent's shins, stopping their attack before it can even begin.

Double Takedown
Rank: C
Description: The user charges forward at an enemy and then kicks off their feet to slam into an opponent with both of their knees. This can either send two opponents to the ground (one for each knee), or it can take out one large opponent, dealing massive damage along the way.

Tombstone Slam
Rank: C
Description: Once airborn over an enemy the user can flip and pull their legs back tightly against their lower back. They then take a swift dive down on an enemy, using their two knees to slam down on an enemy like a tombstone. The strength can break through defenses and solid rock.


Stage 3
The next greatest weapon to the Muay Thai fighter is concentrated on in this stage, the elbows. Some training to harden them like the shins is used, but it is not needed as much as the user strikes with the sharp point of the elbow instead of the blunt. By striking with the point the fighter turns his elbow into more of a cutting weapon, used to combine with blunt trauma and cut into the face of an opponent to draw blood at the same time. Precision and coordination training is used here to make the elbow blows more accurate and for them to find ways to work past an opponent's defenses and get in close for the elbow attacks. By the end of this stage a user should become so coordinated that he can run full speed through a crowded room and not hit anybody, as well as move through even the smallest of openings in his environment.

Spinning Elbow

Description: Used in close range when an enemy is trying to maneuver around the fighter, the user spins around and strikes the opponent's chest of face with their elbow. This deals a painful blow but more importantly it forces the opponent back in front of the user. This is especially handy when the user has an opponent in a corner.


Falling Dagger
Rank: C
Description: The user falls down on an opponent (by either jumping over them or through other means), and brings their over their head and down onto an opponent's skull. By hitting them with the sharp tip of their elbow all of their force becomes concentrated on a single spot. This power makes it easy to break through metal, let alone someone's skull, making it a very potent killing technique.

Flashing Dagger
Rank: B
Description: User focuses power onto their elbows, generating a foot long invisible energy blade out of their elbows. It can be sustained for a maximum of five posts, ten if the user is a berzerker class. Its nature of being unseen is the technique's greatest power, as even simple elbow strikes can cleave an opponent's head in two, and cut those who do not dodge it properly.

Lunging Blackout
Rank: A
Description: User uses massive power from his legs to blast himself through the air at bullet speed towards an opponent. Then he brings his elbow over his head and down onto an opponent's face or skull. Unlike the knee attacks, this lunge will not blast an opponent backwards, but it does generate power equal to or greater than the Falling Dagger technique as it generates all of the force onto the sharp point of the elbow. It is called the blackout because upon impact the force is said to cause anybody hit with it to lose consciousness for at least a moment, sending all opponents straight to the ground.


Stage 4
The style's legendary toughness is learned in this stage. Brutal training that comes close to pure masochism is used to deaden nerves in an opponent's body and strengthen their stance to keep them from being knocked over. Training where user's lift weights using only their teeth is also used to build jaw and neck muscles that will help the fighter resist knock outs. By the end of this stage a fighter will seem more like a machine than man, being able to take full body blows without so much as flinching, and being able to stay conscious no matter how hard he/she gets hit in the head.

No skills to learn at this stage as it focuses entirely on physical conditioning.

Stage 5
In the final stage the fighter learns to truly master all aspects of Muay Thai and fighting. The final stage is used to capitalize on any final techniques that other stages could not offer a user, as well as teach them how to intercept incoming attacks. Though Muay Thai is traditionally a striking style, it also has concepts that fit alongside jujitsu or aikido. Like them, the user learns various counter-attacks to intercept an incoming attack and then with the style's quick and powerful movements, break the bones of their attacker. Unlike aikido, Muay Thai is relentless in their attempts to severly damage their opponents. By the end of the stage, the user can instantly grab and break the bones of any opponent who attacks them head on. Unlike aikido, the Muay Thai art of counter-attacking only works from the front, and like most of the art it is very centered around plowing straight ahead through a herd of enemies. Also, at this level maximum height with the fighter's jumping techniques has been achieved, and even as a normal human they can easily jump over large cars.

Dancing on Flesh
Rank: E
Description: A fancy but effective move used to get over an opponent by stepping on them. The user does this by using their incredible jumping ability to hop onto their exposed knees and shoulders and then either jumping over them or up above them. This can be used in combination with the Tombstone Slam technique to boost its power to A-rank.

Instant Takedown
Rank: C
Description: User intercepts any physical attack coming at him from the front and breaks whatever limb he's being attacked with. 2 post cooldown.

Ivory Hurricane
Rank: B
Description: This is a combination attack that links two elephant kick techniques together. In the case that one misses and the user is turned around, the user instead continues with that power and comes back around to strike at the opponent with a second elephant kick. This attack can also be used to first perform a low elephant kick to sweep an opponent's legs, and then come back around again to kick them square in the chest while they are still in mid-air.

Unstoppable Push
Rank: A
Requires: Hanuman Visits Lanka
Description: An advanced ser blasts off their feet with extreme speed and unleashes a barrier of energy to push with the user as they use the Hanuman visits Lanka strike. It only lasts a second but it can push the user over a long distance due to its pure speed. Only an attack of at least B-rank can break through the energy barrier surrounding the user during the strike, and the strike can break through S-rank barriers and greatly damage SS-rank barriers.

Berzerker Only

Kao Loi
Rank: D, but B-rank power
Requires: Clench
Description: Once an opponent has been put in a clench the user jumps up and pulls their head down as they strike into it with a flying knee. The power alone will break noses, jaws, and will usually cause the opponent to black out. If the user wills it, this move can be done with enough power to kill (costs C-rank instead of D)

Reverse Elbow
Rank: D
Description: Another close range attack where the user spins around 360 degrees around their opponent's body and then slams their elbow into the back of the opponent's head. The spin is very fast and in close enough range can be used to deflect a frontal attack and push the opponent off balance for an instant hit. A blow from this skill will knock out opponents untrained or ill-equiped to handle head trauma, and will blur the vision of any others.


Dim Mak

Stage 1
The first stage of Dim Mak isn't about attacking or even defending, but rather opening a new sense within the fighter, the ability to read chi. By being able to see chi within everybody around them the fighter learns where their chi points lie within their body, as well as other things such as their health/physical condition, emotions, and murderous intent. While for beginners this technique is actually very straining for them, and thus costs energy to use, by the time the style is mastered the ability to reach chi will become passive. All training in this stage is done internally, through several hours of meditation and by first recognizing their own flow of chi. It is only by recognizing their own flow that they can learn to apply it through their attacks, and with over 361 basic points in a single body there is much to discover.

Chi Sense
Rank: D
Description: This is required for all Dim Mak techniques. It allows the user to see the flow of chi whithin any surrounding enemies in an area, making hiding from them quite useless as they pop up in their vision just as easily as infrared. This vision will last for five posts at a time, and requires a cool down of one post after usage. Once Stage 4 is learned, the negative effects of this technique disappear and becomes a passive ability of the user.

Chi Block
Rank: D
Description: Similar yet opposite to the Chi Sense skill, being able to see other's chi and their own gives them the same ability to hide their chi, preventing other Dim Mak users or those who can sense energy in general from detecting the user's energy. This lasts for five posts, and requires a cool down of 2 posts after usage.

Stage 2
Next the users can finally start to learn how to attack with their newfound sense, hitting specific chi points in their opponent's arms or legs to cause temporary paralyzation. Training is done through repetitve practice of the technique against random opponents or even one's self, and then is performed on human dummies of straw and wood. The reason is to make the movements of hitting the points quicker and to strengthen the fingers and weaker parts of the fist while they are at it so that a stronger signal can be created.

Sleep
Rank: C
Description: User grabs an opponent's shoulder and presses a chi point there that immediately makes them pass out, falling into a peaceful sleep.

Limb Immobility
Rank: C
Description: User grabs an incoming strike with one hand, or just grabs the limb in general, and then sharply strikes an opponent's chi point on said limb with two fingers. This sudden message delivered by the sharp strike, combined with the pressure being placed on the limb by the grab, cause it to become immobile for ten posts. It will continue to be paralyzed even out of combat.

Skill name: Spasm
Rank: B
Description: A technique used to disable and inflict pain to those who are more muscle then others. Building up negative chi in two fingers, by striking the body the chi wil forcefully push into the body, causing the muscles to go into fits painfully and lock up, almost like a seizure. The area that was struck will continue to spazz and lock up for three posts, making it impossible to use that part or do anything related to it.

Memory Wipe
Rank: B
Description: By rapidly striking three chi points around the opponent's head or face, they temporarily paralyze a portion of the opponent's hippocampus, causing instant memory loss. As one could guess, this could lead to potentially deadly strike to an opponent, who will suddenly be standing around not knowing any of his/her techniques or even what they're doing there. Their memory will quickly return within a few hours, though parts of their lives up to an hour (depending on rank) will remain forgotten.

Potty break
Rank: D
Description: A rather humorous use of the style's abilities, the user forcefully opens their opponent's bowels with a simple squeeze of the shoulder, pat on the back, or strike to the lower abdomen. This will immediately make the opponent piss and/or crap themself depending on how hard they're hit.


Stage 3
Besides just stopping communication to a limb or organ, other much more deadly and permaneant effects can be inflicted on an opponent's body. This stage teaches users how to deal those lasting blows by showing them combinations of points that can be hit to inflict damage on a body that mimics poison. Again, training is performed through much practice and meditation.

Instant Bile
Rank: D
Description: After striking an opponent's lower stomach or back they send the user sends their chi into their victim's stomach. The agitation will instantly (as the name says) make the opponent vomit and cause temporary dizziness and fatigue after doing so. If performed with enough energy (B-rank cost) then the effect can be made to last longer and force the opponent to vomit several times instead of just once.

Acid Claw
Rank: B
Description: User inbues their fingertips and nails with a very sinister chi that will act like a strong acid if contact is made with flesh. Even a small scratch can cause a hole that will burrow through the opponent's other side. Lasts 5 posts. The chakra can also be fired within a close-range distance of ten feet, though this will cause the acid to leave the user's hand entirely.


Stage 4
BERZERKER ONLY FOR REST OF THE STYLE
In this stage the user learns the most infamous and well guarded techniques of not just this style, but all martial arts. These are the Death Strikes. Attacks can differ from delayed effects to painful effects to immediate effects, but almost all of them cause death to their victims. A different set of training is also used for the last two stages of this style, and that is the art of shooting the user's own chi. It is a trick many have sometimes seen, but by controling the power of their chi a user can push their energy beyond the range of their arms and make it travel a considerable distance. What's more is that they can even make this energy become passive until it hits its mark. Users train this by setting a long row or hard objects, from planks of wood to blocks of ice. Then they begin trying to send out their energy by hitting the first object in line but aiming to break the objects they never touch. A master will be able to touch a block of ice at one end, but make the last ice block on the opposite end explode instead. A heightened sense of meditation is also used to gain insight to the hidden chi points that cause death in their victims, and it is only once they are able to see these points that a user becomes permaneantly placed in their chi sensing state.

Heart Explosion
Rank: A
Description: User curls the fingers of one hand into a claw and strikes the area of an opponent's heart. Energy bursts from each point on the user's fingers and palm, and the combined force causes the opponent's heart to literally explode from the power. Almost nothing can survive a direct blow from this attack, but because a direct blow is needed it is often difficult to pull off.

Death Strikes
Stage 5
The final stage creates the full application of the "chi shooting" that the user started to learn in the previous stage. Here the user learns the most legendary of techniques, where users can knock out their opponents seemingly without touching them. A fighter who learns these techniques is truly a master of the Dim Mak, and should under no circumstances be treated lightly. Training is taken to extremes, and a user must sit and meditate on their own selves for three days and nights (real time). By discovering themselves they will come to understand their true power, and thus learn how to use it to its maximum potential with full control. During their meditation stage, they are put into a coma-like state, and thus are extremely vulnerable to outside influence and attack.

Gentle Shutdown
Rank: A
Description: User molds chi into their palms and then sends an invisible wave of energy towards an opponent. The energy washes over their body and causes them to instantly pass out. This technique requires two posts to mold up enough energy to use, and will only cause a knock out within 5 meters of the user and in only one direction. Anything outside of that range may make an opponent dizzy but that's about it.

Description:

The top of each weapon bears a pattern similar to the Assassin symbol. They are purplish, strangely shaped weapons that appear to be somewhat similar to crossbows. They shoot red energy arrows which bend towards a target, making them quite deadly with Lucy's aim. During Lucy's desperation moves, they are able to fire a massive stream of powerful rounds, which glow blue rather than red, and adapt a rapid-fire ability (Berserk mode, lasts for 5 posts, unlimited energy arrows, cool down of 10 posts). When held together and charged, they can fire a massive blue energy arrow that rebounds around the area, and can be angled to hit an enemy multiple times. After several attacks, they need to be reloaded, although reloading just costs D-rank energy (ten shots in each weapon, Massive arrows cost 2 shots).

Lucky has been an assassin since she was little. The first time she picked up a dagger she knew she wanted to be in the family business. So she joined up and went through intense training. But of course she did screw up a few assassinations here and there. As Lucy matured she became stronger and better at her work. Eventually she managed to kill 11 people successfully, thus enabling her to be a true assassin in her family. Lucy currently lives in Yuran where she is undergoing more training while taking jobs on the side to earn some rep and extra cash.

Now Lucy has decided to leave Yuran to broaden her horizons and meets some new people, while also trying her hand at some useful trades such as pick-pocketing and thieving.

      CHARACTER INFORMATION


Personality: Fable was born with a gentle heart that wanted little more than to smile and see others smile, but her life battered that heart. Early on, her heart learned that its dreams were merely dreams. Still, it did not break, and even after all she’s been through, Fable can still smile genuinely. She’s not all smiles, but smiles do come easily for her. If anything, her difficult past has only made Fable’s smiles stronger. With everything she’s been through, Fable can smile through thick and thin no matter the situation, and she encourages others to do the same. Despite knowing that it is impossible, she still wishes for little more than everyone to just get along and smile.

Of course, Fable still carries her past with her and it shows at time. It reflects in her maturity and in the times her face, rather than smiling, simply stares off into the distance. In groups, Fable often takes the role of the caring, older sister, almost motherly, role. She works to settle fights, whether through talking or simply manipulating those involved until they’ve had the chance to calm down. She does not discriminate, seeing merit in both sides, and often takes the neutral stance. She’ll restrain righteous Nephilim from hunting down every evil creature just as honestly as she’ll restrain necromancers from defacing every grave.

If Fable could be said to have a soft spot for any race, it’d be for incubi. Even with all the troubles her brother gave her, Fable could never truly hate him. Because he was her brother, she tried her best to understand him and his foreign race. To accept him even as he grew to consider her as less than a bug. In order to understand her brother, she learned much about incubi. All in all, whenever Fable sees an incubus, she can’t help but be reminded of her brother and perhaps baby the incubus just a little more than the others.

As a siren, song and music definitely hold a special part in Fable’s heart. She’s lived off of and relied on her musical talents for so much of her life, that it’s just natural for her to take advantage of it whenever the opportunity presents itself. Fable enjoys any good music, whether played by herself or others. Stories, in her opinion, are best told in a song. Singing is a common pastime for the girl, as is playing any of a variety of instruments.

Fable does not form lasting bonds easily. She’s friendly, but she has no qualms with leaving new friends behind when she or they need to move on. Her smiles are genuine, but they also feel like there is an intentional gap between the smiler and everyone else.

Fable was born on a small island in Los Anthos, somewhat near Aramil, populated almost completely by Mer and the rare Siren. Fable’s mother, and consequently Fable, was one of the rare Sirens. Luca, Fable’s mother, was beautiful and intelligent, supporting herself and her child by working as a biochemist and maintaining relations with the other villagers by singing. She was clearly self-sufficient and reliable. Her biggest flaw was probably the careless, single-mindedness she had whenever something caught her attention. Her biggest gift was probably her voice. The voice of Fable's mother was enchanting, even more so than that of other Sirens, and it unfailingly attracted the attention of those who heard it. She was admired, envied, loved, and wooed. Many compared the power of her voice to that of a succubus's charms, but unlike succubi, Luca was not cursed for her ability. Rather, she was celebrated by many, but out of that many, there was only one man she loved.

This man became Fable's father, a father Fable met only once in her life. Almost all of what Fable knew of her father came from the wonderful, sweetly told memories her mother would sings to lull the young Siren to sleep. From the words that structured these song-made stories, Fable learned of her father, a mer that wandered Axiom as a storyteller. From the emotions that brought the memories to life, she could feel the love her parents shared. While the two were not wedded and the father did not visit for years, not even once since Fable was born, the mother did not let such petty facts get in the way of her love for him. Fable's young, gentle soul loved the stories her mother told, and in the four years she knew her mother, she committed many of the stories to memory.

However, those four years were not all happy and sweet. The young Siren could not remember well how it all started, when the happiness suddenly became sour. She was only three when he came in that border of time between winter and spring, joining her mother's group of fans in an innocuous manner. He seemed to only be one of many, like all the rest. Since falling for the man that became Fable's father, Luca had not touched anyone else, choosing instead to patiently wait at least until her daughter grew up. However, he crushed it all.

Time and a young brain blurred many of Fable's memories for this period of her life. She could, however, vividly recall the emotions of horror, confusion, and loneliness as her mother gradually changed into something that desired the man who had mysteriously appeared. At the time, Fable didn't know what he was, neither did her mother. Even after the relationship ended with her mother in despair at the knowledge of who she had bedded with so many times, Fable could not fully understand what exactly an "incubus" was beyond that the only incubus she knew about had hurt her mother horribly and had left the young girl's mind scarred with far more sensuous images and sounds than a three year old should know about. At least, the demon had the decency to not touch the girl.

Even after the incubus left, Fable was left alone. Her mother had retreated into her personal lab for reasons the young child could not fathom. She was, however, gaining more awareness of herself and her world. Very quickly, Fable learned how to worm herself into the hearts and minds of those around her, how to survive with the charms she inherited from her mother.

Again, Fable was left to her own devices. The incubus, as one final curse, had spread the news of his race and relation to her mother. Whispers, both sympathetic and scathing, were traded about Fable's mom. However, despite all that, no one ever stopped helping Fable. She had inherited Luca's charm with none of its newfound taint. Fable had slowly become accustomed to using her voice for her own purposes and she used it now to do what she could to ease her mother's pain. Her mother would only smile sadly at whatever she tried, though, expressing more happiness at Fable's ability to fend for herself rather than the little gifts Fable would bring for her.

As the months passed, Luca's stomach grew. She did not try to stop the growth and continued to only diligently work on her current project. She channeled all the spite she had for the incubus into the project. While accepting the impossibility of stopping her wretched son's birth, Luca would at least keep his father from ever hearing of his son ruining her family. She worked with a single-mindedness that refused to accept the very likely reality that the incubus no longer cared for her at all.

Finally, as she neared the delivery date, Luca finished her project, the gene mod EXEC_PAJA (EXEC PURGER), and after scrounging for favors, she also found a cleric who would install the mod into her daughter. The operation took place as scheduled and went smoothly, the young subject agreeing obedienty to the implant in the hopes that it would cheer her mother up. When Fable woke up after the surgery, her body had successfully integrated EXEC_PAJA. However, her mother was nowhere to be seen. Luca had entered labor in the middle of the operation and had been taken to a different room. In the room, tended to by a few pitying women, Luca gave birth to her incubus son, born on January 4. During the birth, Luca refused to see her daughter. After the birth, Luca chased everyone out, he did not want her suicide to be interrupted, and killed herself with her son sleeping in a cradle in the same room. By the time Fable was finally allowed to see Luca, Luca had taken her own life and was lying in a coffin while Fable cradled her new baby brother.

Her mother dead and the memories carved into her mind forever, Fable was left to care for her baby half brother. Surprisingly, the girl did not find herself disgusted by the boy that led her mother to kill herself. Her heart had hardened far more than a child’s heart should but it was still bigger than most and Fable could find in herself the ability to tolerate her accursed brother and understand that it was simply his nature. She named him Rumpelstiltskin and raised it as best she could. Being only four, she couldn’t even fathom how to take care of herself, much less raise a baby. However, the villagers still adored her and, while they did not much like raising an incubus, essentially turned caring for Fable and her little brother into a village-wide endeavor. As she grew older, Fable made sure to return the favor, working around the village herself in the same way her mother had, as a biochemist. Growing older as she raised an incubus also made Fable very tolerant to all sorts of races and backgrounds.

Rumplestiltskin very quickly showed his Incubus features. As soon as he could walk, he found his way to his mother’s grave without any guidance. Up until he turned five, Rumplestiltskin would often disappear to his mother’s grave and stand in front of it for hours on end, as if expecting his mother to pop out so he could begin tormenting her. At age five, he learned that his mother was not coming back. He did not look for her replacement. His sister, Fable, was only a caretaker, a stranger like any other. When Rumplestiltskin began breaking hearts around him, her reprimands fell on deaf ears. Fable very quickly learned that there was no way to stop Rumplestiltskin and quickly came to accept it was in his nature as an incubus to do the things he did. Telling him to stop charming and breaking hearts would have been like someone telling Fable to stop having such a charming voice.

As Rumplestiltskin grew older, he shed the embarrassing name his sister he never cared for gave him and instead gave himself the name Dmitri. As Dmitri, who was still called Rumplestiltskin by Fable, broke more hearts, he came to detest everyone he was surrounded by. He threatened to leave one day, and with a shrug, Fable made plans to leave within a week. Dmitri, back then, was still just ten, so he accepted the help of the lowly Siren. The people Fable had grown up with were sad to see her go but even happier to see the accursed incubus leave.

From then on, Dmitri and Fable traveled from place to place like nomads, Fable scratching together a living via her musical and biochemist skills. Musically, Fable specialized in spinning songs that told tales. As a musician, Fable took on a stage name, Grimm, because Fable’s fables sounded a bit silly. Truly alone now in the wide world without a single familiar soul that could be relied on for help, Fable experienced early in her life an uncensored version of the world. At times, she almost didn’t make it through, but every time, she pulled through. Dmitri, of course, did so as well, at times with his sister’s help but, increasingly as he grew older, by his own power. One day, when he felt ready, Dmitri just left without a word. Fable worried for the first day, but then moved on with her life. She had read about incubi and knew to expect this sudden leave.

Dmitri left Fable at 14 years of age, making Fable 19 and very much mature. Raising an incubus and taking care of herself from the age of four would do that. With four years of traveling already done, Fable had traveled through most of the populated areas of the world. At the time when Dmitri left, the Siren found herself alone in Nocturne, the last place Dmitri had asked to go to, no doubt because he planned to lose himself in the debauchery of Nocturne from the moment he asked.

Still wearing her Anthosii attire of just a swimsuit, much like she had for much of her travels, Fable continued her travels alone. Of course, she didn’t travel unprepared and vulnerable. Years of traveling had honed Fable’s skills to what most would firmly rank as expert and that same traveling had also given her valuable allies in the form of summons.

Bellona is considered as an elite demon. Well she is actually an angel fallen from grace. She can control the Angelo Caduto to attack or stop or just about anything.

She is capable of preforming all paladin skills as well as all lance based skills, not the Weapons Master lance skills only the universal ones. Just like the Angelo Caduto she has a large wing that acts like a shield but hers is only just large enough to cover her but it is tough enough to block anything weaker than an S rank and it would take at least four S rank attacks to break that wing. She is capable of flight but what may be the most difficult thing if you choose to fight her is the fact she can pass through stationary objects in the room. One other ability of Bellona is that she would summon feathers around her, each one the size of a sword. These feathers are just as sharp as a sword and not only will she send them flying at you but the would also move in to protect her.

Her energy is as much as a Sage.

Her lance is called the Luminite, ordinary where she came from but in the normal world it has a light white aura around it. Luminite has a cross on one end and on the other a spear tip. Strangely her lance will cut you but will not draw blood thus you cannot die from bleeding if the wounds she inflicts came from the lance.

Out of combat Bellona will often take the form of a raven that can fly to any destination. It is this ability to be able to fly to anywhere, no matter where the place is, that makes Bellona's raven form so special.

Rank: D
A feather will dislodge from her wings and then fly at the target with speed. She cannot make them turn 180 degrees but she can make them spin or turn and follow the target. If Feathery discipline is preformed before Feather Strikes all 20 of the feathers will race out to stab the target.

Bellona will swing her hand around her and 20 feathers will appear. This provides as a B rank defense, it will cause the sharp feathers to spin around Bellona quickly, this will deflect attacks up to B rank even elemental attacks. Attacking from directly bellow is still not possible as these feathers will just move in and block it the only way to get through is ti hit it with an A rank attack which will make all of the feathers try to block it but they will break or 21 attacks, strangely each feather can only take one hit no matter how powerful the blow was. It will take 2 more posts after the feathers break or have been used before Bellona is allowed to use this skill again.

If inside The Tower or Nocturne, Bellona can summon an Angelo Cudato to her side. She cannot attack during the post she uses this skill, and no more than 3 Angelo Cudatos can be present on the battlefield at a time.

      BACKGROUND INFORMATION


Favnir was born among a clutch of eggs, he has 2 brothers. After his birth he was raised in a small village setting him and his brothers were no where without each other then one night a band of Zealous Knights attacked his village. the men fought well but in the end the knights were to much him, his mom and siblings were running away into the woods and his brother Devrin tripped on something, his mom tried to turn back but the pursuing knights were closing and she ran leaving him. They headed deep into the mountains or for years he grew up hating the humans. He had become more Dragon like he was prideful angry and greedy. When the day came he heard about a nation that had declared war he ran off to join the fight.

Talent: Chaos
Description: Through a strange and somewhat chaotic combination of void and energy, Nai can defragment any energy-related skills by accessing them with her potential for energy control and then splitting their energy "program" with her potential for void control, resulting in a mass of chaos. This process, which forms the basis of chaos skills, is perpetually carried out within her body, creating a unique affinity to chaos, void, and energy while making any elemental affinity impossible. This volatile mixture of energy and void will also eventually stop Nai's time and stop her from aging. When? It is currently unknown….
Chaos: By integrating her own energy into the energy of another person's, Nai can wreak havoc to it and throw the energy of an energy-related skill (any skill that sends out a burst of energy, not only arcanist skills, and including elemental magic, necromancer skills, and bard skills) into a mass of useless chaos. To do this, though, she must first analyze the energy of whatever she is targeting to understand how it needs to be broken up. In order to fulfill this requirement, Nai must either see the skill she wishes to disable at least five times or analyze the skill (if it's a long-lasting skill like a seal or a barrier) for at least four posts. After understanding the energy make-up of whatever she wants to dismantle, she then needs to use 75% the energy used initially for the skill she is targeting to disable it (this amount changes in certain circumstances). Nai can also do the same thing with void-related and chaos-related skills.
Energy: Nai is able to somewhat feel the energies and auras around her. While this is nowhere near strong enough to be used effectively in most situations, she is able to tell whenever something drastic happens (ex: if she's transported to a completely different world, if there's some drastic arc-related change in the world).
Void: Like energy, Nai also has a slight tinge of void in her talent. Neither Nai's future nor past can be seen by seers and she is completely immune to the advancements of succubi/incubi.
Miscellaneous: There are a number of other possible skills for this talent, but they must be learned and will be applied for in the custom skills thread.
Weakness: Nai cannot have the regular elements, a result that makes sense if the chaos that results from her combination of void and energy is seen as her personal element. In addition, she must be in charge of her body while using her talent. She can use it with her sin (if she ever gets it) but the sin must not be the main conscious. When dealing with mages, necromancers, bards, and/or clerics, Nai must use all of the skill's energy instead of the usual 75% to disable their class-specific skills (note: class-specific skills refer to necromancer skills for necromancers, energy skills for arcanists, music skills for bards, etc.). She can only disable skills that use energy, void, or chaos (she can cause a bard's song to lose its effect but she cannot randomly break up a hail of bullets that come shooting at her). Regardless of what her rank can learn, Nai is only able to learn chaos skills up to her rank.
Origin: Nai has always had an unknown past, made even more mysterious by the fact that her first memories involve the blood and death of the constant slave battles she was forced to participate in. However, there is something special about her, present by the fact that she managed to survive the world she came from long enough to gain her freedom. This talent is also, understandably, connected to her unknown Quicksilver bloodline and will be her first hint of it: a mixture of void and energy that creates a chaotic element that is enough to slow down time. How she got either her talent or the bloodline, the girl doesn't know.

General Outfit: A large, black coat made of leather hides most of Nai's body, from the hood pulled low over the top of her head to the bottom edge of the cloak that just barely brushes her ankles. A raised collar built into the coat further enshrouds Nai's face. In addition to hiding her identity, the coat also provides some protection from the weather and has several inside pockets for storage. Nai is almost always seen hiding herself within the cloak, even if it isn't the most inconspicuous outfit. Other usually visible attire includes light boots, black in color, that make little noise when moving but still manage to protect the feet fairly well and a pair of faded black gloves. The boots are well maintained, but smudges of dirt stains show that they definitely aren't new.
Taking the coat off reveals another layer of clothes. A white button-up shirt, cuffed and collared, covers the upper half of the body. It's not the neatest thing in appearance, often sporting several undone buttons, but it's rarely ever seen so such things hardly matter. Besides, the red scarf wound around the neck takes visual center stage for the top half instead of the shirt. Brown suspenders stretch from the pants that cover the lower half of the body, firmly holding of a durable pair of light gray, cargo pants (lots of pockets) that stretch to the ankles. The suspenders and shirt mold comfortably to the body. The pants, in addition to the suspenders, are held up by a brown belt with various pouches and holsters attached. Technically, the suspenders and belt are all one piece. The bottom of the ankle-length pants are tucked into and thus hidden by knee-high boots. Like the shirt, the pants mold neatly to the body, making it minimally difficult to tuck the pants into boots that stretch past the knee. Suspenders from the belt stretch down and clamp to the boots as they stretch up to and over the shoulders. Just as the upper suspenders hold up the pants, these suspenders hold up the boots. The suspenders don't hook up to the very top of the boot, but rather to a spot inside of the boot and slightly lower than the top, giving the boots a natural look. Beyond what has already been listed, weapons, and obvious additions like underwear and socks, nothing else of note remains of Nai's outfit,

Head: Usually covered with the hood of her coat.

Arms: Hidden up the coat sleeves are handgun and revolver ammo that Nai can slide down into her hand with a flick of her wrist.

Torso: A fully assembled PSG1 rifle is strapped over the back, its muzzle pointing up and to the right while its handle points down and to the left. The strap that holds the rifle in place has multiple pockets to hold rifle ammo and shotgun ammo. The tonfa guns are strapped to her belt, resting against the lower back atop the reloading mechanism, which also contains the ammo for the tonfa guns, settled against Nai's hips. The sides of the belt have two super shorty stocks. A quick draw holster is under each of Nai's arms, hidden by the coat. The left holster holds a handgun and the right a revolver.

Backpack: Unless Nai needs a backpack, she doesn't carry one. If she does, it's usually nothing more than a simple rucksack to hold rations and such.

Legs: A holster for a super shorty shotgun is on the outside of each thigh, adding up to a total of two holsters for two guns. container-like pouch containing extra ammo is attached to the outer side of the left thigh. The shotgun ammo is held in the left side of the container-like pouch located on the thigh while the handgun ammo is located on the right side.

Feet: Two small knives are hidden in each boot.

Random Pockets/Pouches: Bandages, rope, pain relieving salves, disinfectant. 2 mini paralyze balls, 1 scent changer, and1 pocket watch.

Accessories: 1 pocket watch.

      CHARACTER INFORMATION


Personality: Nai hardly cares for more than the present. She has no traumas or biases from the past. She has only experiences and lessons learned. As a youth, a vampire was her master, but Nai treats vampires no differently than werewolves or sirens. Shortly after receiving Sloth, Nai was attacked by her former king. That experience has taught her to be distrustful, but it is a universal distrust and not one aimed at any particular rank or race. As for the future, Nai doesn't bother herself with anything but the immediate future. Beyond that, she finds it to be worthless and tiresome speculation.

In general, Nai dislikes tiresome things, a trait she'd absorbed from Sloth. She dislikes speaking, finding it bothersome and unnatural to her mouth. Her favorite role is that of a silent observer, someone who simply has to watch. In fact, despite all her energy conservation, she is constantly wary of her surroundings. Ambushing her is difficult even when she's alone. She's a naturally light sleeper as well, and most of her movements, even eating, have been trained to be naturally quiet without extra consideration on her part. Then, once she's noticed an offender, she has trained herself to quickly end the encounter. Currently, her first priority is escape, and she shows no shame in running away and being labeled a coward.

In the case that her hand is forced and she needs to fight back, Nai shows neither mercy nor excitement. She coldly finishes what needs to be done in the most efficient manner.

If she holds a desire for anything, it is the simple, instinctive desire to live. It is probably this instinct alone that has allowed her to survive all this time. It fuels her constant awareness and understanding of her surrounding. It triggers her instant reactions. It urges her to continue living even if she does nothing else. It is what has shaped what meager personality she has into its current form.

      BACKGROUND INFORMATION


xxxxxA girl from the streets of Luimira, Nai started life with no past or future. She lived simply in the present and, even then, just barely so.

As a baby, Nai was found by slave traders and sold shortly afterward to a filthy rich vampire, an avid follower of Vaet Nocturnum steeped in Lumirian culture. The vampire, a he, wanted a battle slave, one that he could pit against other battle slaves in a coliseum or send out to hunt bounties for him. Of course, he also wanted to win with his slave and figured that the best way to do that was to raise the slave from as young as possible. He found that possibility in Nai's infantile age. Her female gender was simply an added plus: when she grew older, he could use her for other, less violent pleasures. Nai's first ten years of life was filled with death and discipline. Knowing nothing else, she easily melded into the ideal slave, one without emotion or feeling. She learned to kill quickly and did so without hesitation or guilt. The first and only language she was allowed to formally learn was Demonica, her master's way of marking his human object. She became his prized object, and even as she was sent into one life-threatening situation after the next, her proud master never let her start her "performances" (as he liked to put it) with a less than perfect appearance.

However, like any human, Nai could not be completely robotic. Beneath her doll-like appearance, she held one proof of free-will. She absolutely refused to die. She charged into fatal situations with a mere order, but she returned alive from far more than she would have if she did not have her ridiculously strong will to live. Through thick and thin, Nai would break expectations, push past her limits in order to survive to see the next set of 24 hours. Her desire to survive, unbeknownst to even her, melded itself into Nai. She became amazingly perceptive. Just by listening to the conversations happening around her, she mastered Demonica and became fluent in Common. Her pompous vampire master, of course, was oblivious to both these accomplishments as Nai was rarely expected to speak. He did see the results of her amazing perception in combat, though, but attributed that to his stellar training plan and amazing ability to spot talent.

Like most others battle slaves, Nai would have likely continued her life as a slave. She probably wouldn't have cared, either. However, at the age of 11, a lucky chance involving a battle between her owner and his rivals that ended up breaking her cell, allowed Nai to escape. Although, she had no reason to, she took the chance and ran. She didn't know why, even though it would be obvious to a normal human being, her instincts simply told her to. Her survival instinct urged her to run. She had no where to go to after her escape, of course, and lived on the streets for the better part of a year. Eventually, though Nai picked up on something of interest. She heard of Luimira's army and how new recruits were always welcome. In need of food and finally understanding the importance of money in Luimira, she joined as a trainee and quickly scaled to novice, shortly after which the adept exams were held.

During her first adept exams, in which she was partnered up with a siren by the name of Tsubasa Sonitus-Confuto, Nai received a permanent scar in the abdomen from a draconian by the name of Shruiken Kuroryu. At least, for any normal person the scar would have been permanent.

After the exams, time passed dully enough until Nai found herself plopped in front of a large tower. Most would think it ominous, but the numbed girl didn't know how to make such opinionated views. She only knew that the only way out was likely at the top. She went through trial after trial to ascend the tower, reaching the final floor and gaining her "reward," the Sin Sloth. The integration of the new being into her body gave her both new powers and new troubles. The king of Nocturne back then, Fenrir Graveheart, started to hunt down the Sins, including Nai's. She managed to escape, but only barely. Then, there was also the appearance of a companion, if X could be considered something so friendly. A fickle ally at best, perhaps.

After the ruckus caused by the Sins died down, Nai found herself wandering foggily through daily life once more. Nai ranked up to Expert. Nocturne turned into Horus and Luimira into Osiris some time during this hazy period. Next thing Nai knew, the newly renovated nation found itself without a prominent ruler. Once more, Nai found herself snapped back into action. She knew little about politics, but she could see that the lack of a definite ruler would cause trouble. Taking the side of the man legitimately selected by the people as the ruler--but remained a ruler largely only in name as the many underground remnants of Luimira plotted to take him down--Nai confirmed his, Amaterasu's, position and set it into stone. She did not install a new government nor did she rule from the shadows. All she did was, by acting on her own initiative, back off any hindrances/competitors for the position of Osiris's ruler. She continued to support the new king, giving him information that a ruler of light such as he would and should be ignorant of. She didn't care for anything in return for her services, not having trouble was more than enough, but she did learn a modicum of Angelica from Amaterasu's sister.

Then, Amaterasu passed on as well, not in the sense of death but in the sense that he left his position. Slowly, Horus's climate reverted back to that of Nocturne's. The sunny days were replaced once more with perpetual night. Shadows rose and the underground could rule as it did before. The peaceful citizens that Osiris had attracted were lost with the return of Luimira. Likewise, it became clear that the ruler of Horus could not rule Nocturne even with all the help in the world. Nai discontinued her help, not because she was intuitive enough to sense this needed change. She knew nothing about politics. Instead, it was because another change was happening at this time. One involving her body and thus one of more importance to the stray gunslinger.

As suddenly as Sloth entered her life, so it left. This was the change that Nai had been sensing for months. She could feel that all the other Sins probably had also left this world for who knows what other world. All that remained of their existence in Axiom was an inexplicable wish granted to each of their last hosts. At least, that was what Nai reasoned. After all, surely she couldn't have been the only one to receive such weird changes to her body after the event. It was funny to think everyone would have the same thing happen to them, so it must have been some variable change.

Nai withdrew from Luimira once more to play with and learn her newfound abilities. In fact, she withdrew herself from the rest of the world, befitting her quiet nature. For a few years, she disappeared on and off, spending long periods of time with only herself and her summon and then rejoining the fringes of society temporarily. Her disappearing acts were greatly helped with a little dabbling into the ninja arts, which Nai began to briefly study in.


Then, as Nai planned to return to Nocturne, Sloth returned to her for whatever reason. Judging from the feeling she got, the same had likely happened to all of the other Sins as well. She didn't ask; Sloth didn't bother to explain. The two simply acknowledged each other's presence and moved on with life. Nai returned to Nocturne, appearing older but no other visible difference beyond that. She planned to go straight to her usual bounty work in Nocturne, expecting no sort of fanfare or invitation. In the city of shadows, she had always been just another splotch of shade, something few recognized and even fewer bothered with. She preferred it that way, actually. She remembered the last king of Nocturne. He had attempted to kill her to steal Sloth.

After some time in Nocturne, though, Nai felt it was time to go. A random incubus had been stirring her in bothersome ways, and she registered at all as rather tiring, not knowing how else she could register the feelings. When that incubus ditched his adept test taking place in Los Anthos, Nai took the chance herself to resume wandering. The only thoughts on her destination,
