AS the two boys enter the Caz zone and move around a women around 5'7 with her whole arm right covered in a strange metal starts to slowly walk up to them. "Oi!" was heard echoing from her lips as she tried to get the attention of the boys walking through. Trainees most likely trying to get started

The two were looking at the woman with strange metal upon her arm. "My name isn't Oi!" Kojin said getting annoyed again. "Kojin and I'm Kageki." Kageki spoke for the both of them as Kojin looked away trying to calm his nerves like normal.

To be honest the woman was not really phased much by how the young one had reacted as she simply extended her hand out faintly forming a slab of rock from thin air and leaned on it as they interdouced themselves."Well I am one of the teachers here. I guessing you two boys are here to start up on your training?" she asked wanting to get the point of this. She had better things to do than teach today

Both of them smiled widely as they nodded. "I'm the weapon master." Kageki smiled and then Kojin spoke. "Gunslinger." Was all he said as he found a cat and his attention was perked by it. "My brother needs to learn various weapons. I need to learn Jujitsu, Dagger, and Throwing knives." He spoke telling the trainer of what all she wanted to learn.

Now that that drama was over, Alistair made his way to the CAZ, trying to find someone to train him. It had been several years since he had last learned anything new. It was a miracle he survived with the low ranked techniques he had. If it were up to him, he'd learn the techniques on his own, but he couldn't. At least not yet.

Plus, if he hid away like some p***y, people might assume that whole Pride thing was him intentionally acting out. It was better to make it seem inconsequential, which he hoped it could be. "Hey, Alistair, my fellow zombie slave..." he referred to their time as servants under Marishka. "You looked like you were in pretty bad shape when I got to Akasun, earlier. You alright? What happened to you? Mission gone wrong?" Judging by the explosion of drama between Emelia and Srin, it probably involved her. That bitchy little 'Daughter of Mercy' that Raphael refused to not hate. She had always been competition for Srin's affections, and simply put, she was the daughter of Liliana. That was already a huge folly, in terms of being appreciated by the children of night.

When the Captain came in, Alistair stood up. He had been tired of waiting for someone to come, so he had decided to sit down. After all, a rest was what he needed after that predicament. "The mission was going fine. The target was seized. But then that girl, claiming to be a princess, interrupted our mission. She tried to restrain my target with her cloth, so I burned it. She attacked me, and I nearly killed her. Her life was in my hands. I showed leniency and purposefully missed her spine, though she did not return it." That was all. He could have explained how much of a spoiled b***h Emelia was being, but that didn't matter anymore. From now on, he wouldn't have to listen to her. He knew the truth about Emelia, regardless of how she fooled her father. Alistair wanted her blood, hoping that it'd be as tasty as a dreadnaught. But he was disappointed when he didn't find the slightest trace of the dreadnaught blood. "She kept telling me about the power her blood carries... her blood tasted pretty rancid. Hybrids, you know? Major turn off."

Anything exposing the b***h-assness of Emelia was like music to his ears, and for obvious reasons he immediately decided that he'd inexorably side with Alistair on this matter. The Sage sighed, and crossed his arms. "Looks like you've had a pretty shitty day then," he remarked. "Emelia may be the supposed princess, but she's no princess of mine, and she's no princess of the people. Nocturne was made weaker by her mother's ascent to power, and what Liliana left behind..." Raphael didn't want to say it, because he still cared for Srin, but his mind kept jumping to his absurdity. His inability to control himself. He may have been a powerful fighter, but he was a weak King. "Well, you know. And yeah, totally. Hybrids just don't roll off the tongue well; not in any use of the term. But, as payment for your trouble, you can have a nice bit of my blood. My kind has the best taste, so I'm hoping it'll be more than adequate." He laid out his wrist for Alistair to dig into, and then smiled sweetly. "Oh, and you're an Adept, now. But that's no big deal, right?"

There wasn't much Alistair could do when Raphael offered his hand. He hadn't fed in a while, and growing in power only made him feel like he needed to feed from a potent source. Straight from the vein. Almost on the second that Raphael offered his wrist, Alistair grabbed his hand. He wanted to do this, every urge was driving him to do it. But until now, he had lived from bloodbags from the hospital. He didn't want to be a leech, but it was natural. All of it. It was then that he lowered his hand into Raphael's wrist. "...Thank you." He suddenly bit down gently, his fangs slipping through Raphael's skin like butter. The blood that rushed out was more potent than he had ever tasted. It was warm, and rushed into his mouth. For once, it actually satisfied him. After a few gulps, Alistair lifted his head as he stopped feeding from the Incubus.

Now that he had fed, it was time to resume his training. He decided to use Raphael's presence to his advantage. After gaining some distance, Alistair found a book detailing the skills he could learn. He'd begin with elemental skills.

Blaze Arc was up first, mostly because it looked really simple. After charging fire around his foot, Alistair closed the gap between him and a dummy. With a quick round house kick, fire trailed off his foot. Up next was Fire Bomb. After focusing a rather large looking fireball into his right hand, Alistair launched it at the dummy. Upon contact, it seemed to hit it with an explosive force. Up next was shield of flames, a defensive ability. Once again, Alistair charged a large amount of flames onto his arm. Spreading the flames out with his energy, it appeared like a shield made of complete flames. He had to skip Flame Charge, but moved onto Flame Blade. It looked useful enough, since it could cut through stone. By conjuring up a sword made of pure flames, he launched it straight at the dummy, cutting it in half. Next up was Flame Lashes, which was an upgrade to the flame whip skill. After raising his hands, Alistair conjured up two long whips of flames, though this time they had several lines of flames branching out of the end. As he brought it down to the dummy, it engulfed in flames. Eventually it died out.

Moving onto the ninja abilities, Alistair began with Vanish Slash. From a crouched position, he suddenly launched toward another dummy, purposefully missing and then vanishing, leaving a mirror image. He suddenly arrived behind the dummy and grinned. Though, he struggled to maintain the mirror image, which this next skill would help him. Alistair conjured up 4 mirror images of himself, though all dispersed into a thick mist after a few seconds. Soon after that, he began to learn the Wall Run skill. Definitely a parlor trick, but useful anyways. After dashing forward, he kicked off the ground, using energy to stick on the wall as he ran. Next was the Detonation Image. He began by using the vanishing jump to leave a mirror image behind, watching from a distance as the mirror image suddenly exploded in a flash of blinding light and deafening sound. Similarly, he created four mirror images. Though, for some reason these were able to actually touch things and attack. All four suddenly exploded, just like the skill before. It would blind and deafen any one who looked at it.

(All fire skills up to B Rank, All ninja skills up to B Rank learned)

Now that Alistair had finished the other skills, he moved onto the Vampire skills. Beginning with Night Shade, Alistair immediately recognized it as another form of Vanishing Jump. After jumping back, he left a dark fog where he used to be, obstructing him from view. Continuing on with the First Shadow, Alistair faced a dummy. By literally extending his shadow, casting it over him, Alistair was able to force the shadow to latch onto the dummy. Though it wasn't going any where, the shadow would hold on as long as it could. Moving onto one of the most useful skill of the bloodline, Alistair closed the gap between him and the dummy. After molding a shadow into a kodachi, he struck the dummy the shadow weapon crept on through the dummy, attempting the strangle him. It would be most useful against weapon masters and knights. The next skill wasn't exactly a battle skill, but it was worth learning. Feeling Batty was a transportation skill... well, more like a skill to show off. After a suddenly rush of energy, Alistair's body began to blur as it shifted into many bats. It then reformed a few feet away. For the Allure of Tragedy, Alistair called over a boy that was around. After ensuring that he wouldn't hurt him, Alistair ensnared his eyes. He sifted through the boy's memories of himself, deleting each and every one before sending him away. After reading about the next skill, Alistair was instantly enthralled by it. It called for creating an assassin out of the shadows, similar to the foundation principles of a ninja. After molding a shadow, it quickly melded into the ground, creeping around the dummy. It took a few seconds for it to strike, but after it sneaked up behind the dummy, it suddenly rose up and stabbed the dummy from behind.

Nai walked into the training grounds and proceeded straight to the area set off for mechanists. An array of workbenches and basic materials were scattered around in this area for the use of any mechanical training, the very thing Nai sought to do. She had learned a few basic mechanist skills in her five year absence from Nocturne, and now, she wanted to expand on those skills.

Magnetic Field
Rank: C
Requires: Magnetize
Description: It's quite simple. You emit a magnetic field around you to sense metal objects that are moving around nearby. Every creature has a small magnetic field because of the iron in their blood. At Master rank you are able to detect that tiny field. Lasts two posts.

Before reaching for any of the tools and gizmos, Nai started with some simple magnetizing. She already knew the Magnetize skill for mechanists. Now, she just wanted to test out something else to do with magnets that she heard mechanists were able to do. Focusing, Nai emitted a magnetic field around her through which she could sense metal objects. It wasn't strong enough for her to do anything with the metal she sensed, but the slight push it put on the objects allowed her to feel it around her. She spread the field even wider until it reached others training in the CAZ, and from them, she could sense the tiny amounts of iron in their blood. [1/1]

Tool Tinkering: Restraints
Rank: C
Skill description: As the name says, it restrains a character. If someone may commit a crime, these restraints can be placed upon them to keep them from doing anything more. Although they have little effect on classes and Bloodlines with higher strength (8 or above). Although you have to manage to get the character hands into the restraints. They can be placed on legs, hands, and other limbs and appendages. Can also be used to cuff someone to the user instead, usually hand to hand. Like everything else, they have to be crafted before you can use them.

Deeming her first attempt at Magnetic Field a success after being able to go as far as sensing the presence of others, Nai moved on the the more hands-on skills. Picking up a manual of mechanist skills that was conveniently within hand's reach, the girl flipped through it, fully intending to learn all the skills she deemed even slightly necessary in order. The first relevant section to come up was Tool Tinkering, and the first thing that seemed useful were the restraints. Picking up the specified materials, Nai followed the directions in the manual. Her first attempt didn't end up so well. They looked fine, but Nai couldn't get them to lock. The next one after that, though, turned out just fine. Although, the building process took more time than was strictly needed. If Nai was a mechanist instead of a gunslinger dabbling in mechanist skills, she might have cared enough to make a few more pairs to cement the skill. However, she didn't care enough and simply pocketed the restraints. [1/1]

Metal Shield
Rank: E
Description: It's a very basic thing really. It allows you to create a durable, circular shield with a radius of twelve inches. The shield is as durable as the metal it is made of. (i.e. If made with C Ranked materials [see list in customs forum in the Custom Weapons topic], then the shield can take as much damage as C Ranked attacks.)

The other Tool Tinkering skills didn't seem worth Nai's time, so she simply moved on to the Add-Ons section. Nai had already learned the basics of Add-Ons, enough to move on straight to the actual Add-Ons. Metal Shield was the first on the list. Perhaps not the most useful thing for a gunslinger, but it seemed like something Nai could find useful eventually and simple enough as well. Nai simply gathered the materials and welded it together to form a circular shield. She approved of her handiwork before setting it aside. The materials available for practice were no good for a decent shield that was worth carrying around, especially not for a gunslinger. [1/1]

Heads Up Display (HUD)
Rank: E
Description: Once installed into your scope, it functions passively, telling you information about parts and how their function at that moment in time , as well as allowing you to utilize sight modifying add-ons, such as Night Vision, or Infrared . Alternatively this can also just be put on the inside of your helmet. It will show you how much energy you have and the damage sustained by your mechanical parts if you have any.

The next mechanic seemed much more useful than a shield. Standing alone, an HUD didn't sound very valuable, but Nai knew what could be done with a simple display, even if she didn't yet know how to make it do it yet. Nai collected the needed materials. She didn't need the best parts for something like this, so she planned to make her first one last. After all, HUD weren't meant to be very durable. They just needed to work. Afterwards, when she had time, Nai could upgrade it properly. For now, she just worked on something that would work. Nai got the basic structure working, a simple pair of goggles, and then fiddled with the inside to get the proper information to show up. The needed mechanics to register energy levels were inserted and that was it. Nai didn't have any mechanical parts at the moment to worry about keeping track of their functions. [1/1]

Zoom Scope
Rank: E
Description: This is limited to the head or scope tool. This allows you to spot far away objects and identify what they are. This can also be used the take pictures and videos.

An add-on for the HUD scanner add-on came up quickly. Simple as it was, Nai could already see the Zoom Scope being quite useful for her purposes. She casually worked out the tools and processes to create her first, aligning the mirrors to the cylindrical body properly and then ensuring that all the pieces moved smoothly. This standalone Zoom Scope wouldn't fit in her HUD, which already looked like it'd need to be changed to a different base, but Nai fit it quite easily to the rifle she carried. She created another for extra practice, this time starting by pulling apart the HUD she had just created. Her hands fumbled unnaturally as she disassembled the HUD, but quickly steadied as Nai focused and did not relent. She managed to finish the scope portion, using a smaller version with more reliance on technology, before suddenly stopping, leaving the HUD as a whole rather unfinished. [1/1]

The frozen hands held the unfinished HUD for a few moments before they dropped as Nai's eyes grew rather listless. Quite carelessly, the HUD fell to the worktable. To Nai, this was productive. To Sloth, though, it most definitely wasn't. What was the point in creating an HUD only to pull it apart shortly after? Such inefficiency. It was one thing to move about learning stuff that wasn't particularly necessary. Another to waste effort like that. Granted, Sloth wasn't doing anything, but he was sharing the body, and he didn't like this feeling of being busy. He disliked it so much, he considered it less trouble to just push his host out of the way. Maybe if she hadn't done it so obnoxiously, he would be able to stand it. Too late now, the Sin-controlled body simply dropped to the ground and lay in the exact place it had been standing in, not bothering to move somewhere more decent.

Sloth could never be bothered to do something for long, though, and without even trying, control of Nai's body was returned to the human. She did not move immediately, though. She, like Sloth, disliked inefficient actions, even though the two had different definitions of the phrase. Laying on the ground, Nai planned out her next few steps. Sloth had stopped because redoing the HUD several times was a waste. To resolve that, Nai stood up and flipped through the manual of mechanist skills, reading and memorizing all of the little add-ons. She planned ahead, envisioning the HUD she would build with all the necessary visual perks.

Then, after a rough draft was formed in her mind, Nai carelessly dropped the manual and left the training grounds without a word. She needed to gather the appropriate materials if she wanted to make everything perfect on the first go, which was exactly what she planned to do.
