Crossbow Bolts: 60/60 / Shuriken: 60/60 / Throwing Knives: 20/20 / Smoke Bombs: 10/10

--------------------------------------------"You think you can escape my blade.."-------------------------------------------

Lucy sighed as she put her dagger back into its sheath then pulled out the Throwing knife book. She read the first skill she could learn, which was the easiest one to learn, the skill was called Knockout. It basically was just throwing the knife so that it would flip and end up hitting the opponent with the blunt end of the knife. So Lucy pulled one knife out from her belt then pulled her arm back quickly and threw it at the tree. she watched it flip and hit the tree hard with the blunt end leaving a small dent in it. Lucy then walked over and picked up the knife putting it back in its sheath with the others.
[1/1] (Knockout learned)

Lucy now moved on to the harder skills. First up came Straight Knife. It basically was a skill in which the user throws the knife in a straight line. Lucy sighed as she closed her eyes and simulated herself throwing the knife completely straight, if she learned one thing in her assassin training it would be that visualization was important.
[1/3]

Next Lucy actually pulled out a knife and practiced the motion of throwing it herself without actually throwing the knife. If her calculations were correct she would have to throw the knife in a downward or upward motion in order for it to travel in a straight line. Ether way it would be a little difficult although easy.
[2/3]

Finally Lucy chose the downward motion and actually threw the knife. She watched as the knife flew as straight as a bullet at the tree and dug in to it normally. Lucy simply walked up to the tree and pulled the knife out putting it back with the others as she chose to move on to another skill.
[3/3] (Straight Knife learned)

Now Lucy moved on to the skill called Trick knife. It basically is just throwing another knife in the shadow of the first one. But of course that requires perfect timing to do and skill with a knife. Lucy simply sighed as she closed her eyes and visualized herself throwing the two knives.
[1/3]

Next Lucy actually pulled out two knives and practiced the motion of throwing them herself without actually throwing the knives. If her calculations were correct she would have to throw one knife a fraction of a second sooner than the second one. Ether way it would be difficult to pull off, especially since she had never thought of doing this with knives before.
[2/3]

Finally Lucy simply threw the knives and watched them fly. she tried to make out where the second knife went but she couldn't see it till it hit the tree after the first one. 'that'll confuse some people...' Lucy thought to herself as she walked over and pulled the knives out of the tree and placed them back with the others. She then moved on to the final technique she could learn for the knives at her rank.
[3/3] (Trick Knife learned)

Finally came Triple Knife. A skill in which the user threw three knifes at the opponent all coming from different directions. Lucy read through the skill multiple times then began visualizing how she would throw the knives so that they all came from different directions.
[1/3]

Next Lucy actually pulled out three knives and practiced the motion of throwing them herself without actually throwing the knives. If her calculations were correct she would have to throw two knives in one hand and one knife in the other. Plus she would have to get them all to go in different directions, which meant she would throw two knives first then the last one second. Ether way it would be difficult to pull off seeing as it was a difficult technique.
[2/3]

Now Lucy simply threw the knives in the order she thought would work best. She watched as one knife came at the tree from the right, one came from the left, and the last one came from the front. Surprisingly all of the knives hit the tree at the same time which made Lucy confused since she threw one later than the others, but then she realized that one had flown straight so it could have cut through the air and caught up to the others. Lucy then walked up to the tree and pulled the knives out placing them back with the others so that she wouldn't be low on knives.
[3/3] (Triple Knife learned)

Lucy now walked back to Zebulon and handed him the two books back. "Thank you for the books master. I was wondering if i would be allowed to learn the Shuriken techniques now? since i have shuriken with me i should probably learn to handle them better since i have more shuriken than my throwing knives." Lucy asked wondering if she could learn to use Shurikens as well seeing as those were the last weapons she wanted to know how to use. Once she learned how to use those she figured she didnt need anything else until she hit a higher rank.

Without looking, Zeb took the book from the girl, stashed it in his robes, and pulled out another book. All without skipping a beat of meditation.

He heard both Anima clearly. He pulled two books from his cloak, rolled backwords and threw both at the anima. Each had a set of respective skills. He looked at Kato after standing. "Don't care. Learn them anyway." he turned to the second anima. "Same drill as before."

--------------------------------------------"You think you can escape my blade.."-------------------------------------------

Lucy gratefully took the book from Zebulon then gave him a bow of respect before walked back over to her little training spot.

Lucy first opened the book and read up on the first technique which was called Swift Knuckle. Basically it was just using the shuriken as a normal cutting tool then throwing them when the opponent moved backwards to dodge. This seemed relatively simple to Lucy so she pulled out a shuriken and held it inbetween her fingers. She then made a swing at the tree then when she brought her arm back around she threw the shuriken at the tree. Lucy sighed seeing as the skill was simple. So she moved on to the harder stuff.
[1/1] (Swift Knuckle learned)

Lucy now moved on to the harder skills. First up came Edges of a fan. It basically was a skill in which the user holds five shuriken like a fan then throws them. Lucy sighed as she closed her eyes and simulated herself holding the shuriken and throwing them.
[1/3]

Next Lucy actually pulled out five shuriken and practiced holding them like a fan along with the motion of throwing them herself without actually throwing them. If her calculations were correct she would have to throw them all horizontally if she wanted the best amount of range. Ether way it would be a little difficult although easy.
[2/3]

Finally Lucy actually threw the shuriken and watched as they hit several tree's. She figured this skill would also be useful when faced with multiple opponents, but then again it would only be used if she was found or caught. Which was unlikely to happen.
[3/3] ( Edges of a fan: learned)

Now lucy moved on to the skill called Exploding Star. It was basically just charging the Shuriken with energy so that it would cause a small explosion and shoot the edges out for a surprise attack. This was a skill that seemed useful to Lucy so she was ready to learn it.
[1/3]

Next Lucy began visualizing the charged shuriken flying and exploding shooting its edges. it would be useful if she threw it in a crowd of enemies, or even into an unsuspecting victim. This caused Lucy to smile as she began to move on to the final step.
[2/3]

Finally Lucy simply pulled out a shuriken and charged the center of it with energy then threw it straight into a group of dead trees. She watched as it got into the middle of them then suddenly exploded sending small razor sharp edges flying in every direction. Lucy smiled then simply moved on to the last technique.
[3/3] (Exploding Star learned)

Finally lucy moved on to the last skill called Elemental Star. It was basically just charging the Shuriken with her elemental energy so that it would increase the shurikens edge length (cause her element is water). This was a skill that seemed useful to Lucy since it could do some major damage.
[1/3]

Next Lucy began visualizing the charged shuriken flying and expanding with the use of her element. it would be useful if she threw it into an unsuspecting victim or even an opponent. This caused Lucy to smile as she began to move on to the final step for learning the technique.
[2/3]

Finally Lucy pulled out a shuriken and charged it with her elemental energy. She then threw it and watched as it was surrounded by a coat of water and cut into the tree deeper than it normally would. Lucy sighed seeing as she was now content and hopefully done with her training for now.
[3/3] Elemental Star learned)

Lucy now moved back over to Zebulon and handed the book on Shurikens back to him. "Well i dont think there is anything else i wish to learn unless i could learn a C-rank skill. otherwise im down to nothing but my element, which is water." Lucy told him with a shrug seeing as she had learned a lot of weapon skills for a range of different weapons and hadn't bothered to learn her element skills.

Once more, Zebulon took the book from her, placing it in his robe, and this time pulling out a scroll in a tube. This he chucked behind him. If the tube broke, the scroll would be ruined by the glass. He didn't care. He knew she would catch it. But then again, if you could see into the future, you'd know too.

--------------------------------------------"You think you can escape my blade.."-------------------------------------------

Lucy quickly jumped over Zebulon then ran and caught the tube before it could hit the ground. She then looked over at Zebulon with a glare knowing he did that for the fun of if.

Lucy then moved back over to her training spot and opened the tube then took out the scroll and looked at the first water skill which was called Streaming Water. It was basically just pulling water out of a source. So Lucy simply placed her hand over some snow and watched as the snow turned into water which then floated up and formed over her hand.
[1/1] (Streaming Water learned)

Next lucy moved on to Water Spout. She read through the skill a few times before considering just trying it out. which seemed pretty simple.
[1/3]

Lucy simply began to form water underneath her feet. she then slowly built up more and more water trying to lift herself up into the air. Sadly she couldn't manage to get herself to form a column of water. But she still gathered lots of water from the snow around them.
[2/3]

Finally Lucy shot up into the air on a giant spout of water that was atleast two stories high. she could see how this would be useful to get up onto buildings or up to high places. But she still lowered herself down back to the ground so that she could learn the final technique.
[3/3] (Water Spout learned)

Finally Lucy moved on to the Water Whips. she read through the technique a few times to get the concept down then decided to actually try the technique out. if this worked then she wouldn't need to learn how to use a real whip.
[1/3]

Now Lucy visualized the whip just sticking out of the ground and moving like a normal whip. this wasnt too hard for Lucy to understand since she had seen a person use a whip on some cattle long ago. Now lucy moved on to the last bit of learning the skill.
[2/3]

Lucy calmly formed a meter long whip out of the snow. it wasnt too dificult to form but it was definitely hard to maintain. She moved it around a bit but then simply let the water fall back to the ground and freeze. She was now done learning everything she could at her current rank.
[3/3] (Water Whips learned)

Lucy then rolled up the scroll and put it back in the tube. She then carried it over to Zebulon and handed it to him. "What should i do now that im done master?" Lucy asked seeing as she was confused on what to do next.

Shilon caught the book in one hand and opened it with a flick of his thumb. Well, he had asked - but the Captain hadn't really told him what he was supposed to be studying now. So for now he would just learn what he could - the low ranking D-skills should be enough for the moment. And the first one of those for the broadsword - these people called it a longsword though - was the Imprint skill. Shilon closed the hefty book and put it in the bag on his waist. Slowly he drew his blade from its sheathe and spun it around in a slow circle.
This was not a hard technique to master, that was for sure. It was simply changing one motion for another once your blade was buried inside of your foe, not anything that required extreme levels of practice or skill. The Knight turned away from the others so he would not accidentally hurt any of them and thrust his blade forward, cutting through the air. When it had advanced far enough that his arm was fully extended, Shilon tore his blade to the left. He could easily see an enemy stuck on the end of his blade, only to have their side erupt in a spray of gore from the technique.
"I see."
1/1 Technique learned, Imprint

A quick flick of his wrist sent the blade back into its sheathe on his waist. The Dreadnought removed the book from his bag and studied it once more. The skills for the style that he was studying were limited, not many were at the lower rankings. There was in fact only one other D-ranked skill for that style, so he'd have to learn from others or else be severely limited. But for now he could learn this one, the technique called 'Go Down'.
This was another simple sequence, though it was one that would involve the use of his shield. Once again the book was replaced into the bag as the Knight drew his sword from its sheathe. He ran through the moves in his mind - down, up, shield jab. This shouldn't be too hard to handle. So he began, bringing his blade up to his shoulder as he walked a short distance away from the others so as to not accidentally include them in his training. When he felt he was far enough away, Shilon brought his blade down in a smooth arc, envisioning it cleaving through a target. Then his blade came up, making a 'V' shaped wound in his opponent. Before the person could recover from the slices the Dreadnought stepped forward, slamming his shield forward, shoving the person off-balance. There was no hiccup in the smooth motions of the armored warrior, the technique mastered easily.
1/1 Technique Go Down learned

Unfortunately the next techniques would have to come from a different style. Shilon resheathed his blade and pulled back out the book to study it. The second style listed for sword and shield had no D-ranks listed, so he would have to move on to the Defiance style. Shilon buried his shield into the ground as he had done before, the point digging into the soil. The first technique he would learn was the Dual-Edged Defense, though he did not understand why it was named that way.
He put the book back in the bag again after reading it thoroughly to make sure he understood what he had to do. His sword came back out once more, but now Shilon was gripping it in both hands. But this was just the beginning of the basic stance for the style, not for the actual technique he was learning. That needed the blade moved somewhere else.
The Knight brought the blade up above his right shoulder clasped in only one hand now. He spun his wrist around so that the blade was angled down in front of his body, pointing in front of his body and down towards the ground. Now he was in position to move through the technique. Down his sword came, stabbing forward into his envisioned opponent.
1/1 Technique Learned Dual Edged Defense

There were two more techniques of this style that he could learn right now under the limits that the captain had given them. The next one he was going to learn was the Thruster technique, at least that was what he had read in the book from Zebulon. As he set up to use the technique Shilon blinked as he realized something.
Both of these techniques were actually single-hand moves, despite the fact that the basic stance called for both hands on the hilt. He frowned slightly at that strange quirk as he shifted his blade entirely to his right hand. Three steps forward and a powerful stab, that was what the technique called for. The Dreadnought tightened his grasp on the hilt of his weapon as he took a steadying breath and began moving.
His footsteps were not slow - the large armored man realized that a slow steady plodding would not truly lend anything to damage dealt. So he picked up as much of a jog as he could in the armor, intending to punch through his imaginary target. When his right foot came down and started pushing up his right hand shot forward, carrying the blade through the attack.
1/1 Technique Learned Thruster

There was just one more technique in this style that he could learn right now, then he'd move on to the shield techniques. He frowned slightly as he realized that - something seemed off about the number of skills. Shilon flipped his blade back into its sheathe and began reading through the book again.
It took reading through the entire book to find out that his gut was right. Tacked onto the end of the book was a list of additional techniques for the Defiance style, almost as if the book had been printed then a master with the broadsword had added his own list onto those already contained in the pages. He looked over these new techniques and nodded under his helmet - there were a pair more skills that he could learn under that D-rank restriction.

Hanzo grabbed the book and opened it. He read through the skills and chose Dulled Edge. He grabbed Damnation and slid his hand across the blade. He added energy to it and dulled the blade.
(Dulled Edge learned)

Hanzo stopped the skill dulled edge. Damnation returned back to normal. "I DID NOT ******** LIKE THAT." Damnation's anger just made Hanzo laugh. He opened the book and read the next skill. It was sharpen. Doing the same thing as Dulled Edge, Hanzo ran his hand across Damnation. The blade got sharper.
(Sharpen Learned)

Hanzo deactivated Sharpen. He then reopened the book and read off the next skill, empower. He ran his hand across Damnation's blade. He added extra energy to the blade. He cut at a dummy, and when the blade made contact the energy was expelled, sending the dummy back a good three feet.
(Empower Learned)

Hanzo looked at the Captain. "I'm done with the E and D skills for the Swordmaster."

There was no point in arguing about training so Kato took the book on snake sword skills, he skimmed through the book looking for skills worth learning.. And he didn't see any that caught his interest in the D, and E rank sections. So he simply decided he'd learn them all and just get it over with.
He sighed as he read the first skill, he had no need for this one. Maximus could recall on his own, without him using energy. But he was told to learn it anyways, so he unsheathed Maximus and told him to release, as he did he swung him horizontally then he used energy to retract the blade almost as fast as Maximus could do on his own.
-skill learned-
He read the next skill and was tempted to hurl the book over the edge, this was a skill Maximus could do WITHOUT the energy cost. But he held back and didn't. He decided it would be best to just learn how to do it on his own anyways. He began by practicing thrusts with his blade without releasing it.

He figured he should get the basics down first, he thrust forward around fifty times, and they were all to his and Maximus's satisfaction. Now it was time for him to move to the next step.

He thrust forward and with energy he had charged made the snake sword shoot forward with the thrust. This would pierce the enemy, but he couldn't help but sigh, these skills were still pointless since his weapon was faster without him, and it could do more damage too.

But enough with the whining it was time he used this on a dummy to test the power, he moved over to where a wooden dummy stood and thrust forward at about the half way point of the length the blade drove itself through the dummies chest. Maximus wrapped himself around the dummy and began to constrict powerfully to add a little bit of overkill.
He retracted the blade and decided to talk to the teacher.
-skill learned-

"Sir, I have learned all that I wish to learn. Is there a task that is required of me?"
he asked as he approached the Captain of the Royal Guard. He figured he would reach a position like that someday, then go even further.
