Knight Tanais of MarsTanais had been told this might happen, so when the tug on her soul came, her heart had picked up pace and she had eagerly reached back. She let the pull take her, and before more than a breath had passed, she was somewhere else.
Somewhere very... gothic looking, very Frankenstein with the storm raging outside. Very colorful, for all the vibes it was giving off. The knight had given the architecture a cursory glance before focusing on the man before them and the other people that arrived as she had. Chaos made the atmosphere heavy and charged, sending tingles and goosebumps over her skin. It excited her. Here was something truly worth fighting.
The man, Alastor, spoke about the chaos and about the need to remove it, and she listened with hawk-like attention, hands flexing within the brass gauntlets she wore. She had to wonder what sort of monsters they would face tonight. Something like the youma that the Negaverse commanded? Something else? It would have been nice to know what to look out for, but she'd have to trust she would know it when she saw it... or maybe that man would point it out for them.
"Whatever you need, we're ready!" She called out, banging her fist against her breast plate. Her grin was bright and confident as she cast it around at the crowd, trying to project some of that confidence and share it with the rest.

Sessrumnir, Knight of Jupiter “Make sure you know who you’re working with,” Sessrumnir turned and spoke up finally when Alastor announced that they wouldn’t have anyone going off alone.
Although he didn’t particularly expect anyone to pay attention or care. He was used to everyone thinking they knew better than everyone else. He just hoped it didn’t get them killed.
“Know whose magic does what. If someone is a healer or has some kind of buffing magic. If you need more supplies -- first aid, flashlights, whatever -- just let us know and we’ll split up what we have,” Sessrumnir said to everyone in the lobby of the Hall.
He didn’t know how much time he and Alastor had before they needed to start trying to locate the source of the Chaos, but he didn’t want to leave anyone underprepared.
He just wasn’t in the mood to chitchat.
Sessrumnir placed his hand briefly on Alastor’s shoulder to give it a reassuring squeeze, but didn’t let it linger. He wanted to make sure the boys were still okay, and that Palatine had enough supplies.
“I’ll be right back,” he said to Alastor as he spotted Palatine over with a group of younger Senshi -- which included Lysithea and Soleiyu. He didn’t want to interrupt… whatever it was that they had going on, so he didn’t waste time with pulling out an extra flashlight from his subspace and handing it to the Knight of Venus.
“If all else fails, you could probably use this to hit it,” he suggested, casting a momentarily curious glance at the other three Senshi, before looking back at the Knight. “Whatever the Chaos does, don’t fall for it. If anything feels off…” he paused and shook his head. “It took on the appearance of Alastor’s late husband. It’s obviously not afraid of playing dirty to survive and make us give in.”

Amarynthos, Squire of the Moon
Amarynthos nodded along with Ephesus and smiled reassuringly at him, but it was only after he introduced himself that he realized he should probably do the same thing. It wasn’t that he had bad manners! It was just, this whole thing was really overwhelming and he didn’t want to miss anything Alastor said! Or anything anyone said!
And now that he’d seen what the shadows could do, every little flicker of light or movement in the corner of the room made him expect something.
“We promised we’d work hard, Lucasta!” To the other Mauvian, he introduced, “I’m Amarynthos. It’s a mouthful, Mary works. It’s nice to meet you, too. Thank you for coming to help. We’ve never seen a Chaos like this before, either. But then, we’re still pretty new. We’re going to be safe,” he promised to her, even if it was mostly directed to Lucasta. “We’re just here to support everyone, we don’t want anyone to worry about us. I didn't know Alastor knew so many people. But I guess when he goes out he does run around a lot. He must make friends fast. I don't recognize, like, anyone here."

Eternal Sailor OberonOberon cast Perdita a grateful half-grin. He knew she was worried about him, especially after the last several months. She’d been giving him a lot of patience and understanding and space (literally, since he was crashing at her place).
“I’ll be okay,” he promised. “It’s Chaos. We’ve been doing this since we were kids. I won’t let it get to me. And I know you can handle yourself too, Deets,” he said teasingly, but the sentiment was sincere.
“I’d rather not leave you to… whatever is going on with the Chaos on this world. But thank you for always keeping an eye on me. I appreciate it, really,” he said as he turned his hand to take hold of hers to give it a small squeeze.
"You have to make sure you tell me if anything starts to bother you, too," he requested, because she was important to him and he hoped she would let him repay her for everything she did for him already. Even if it was just a little bit.

Ephesus, Squire of the MoonWhen Lucasta made her way over to them, Ephesus temporarily untangled his hand from Amarynthos’ (after a reassuring squeeze) so he could reach down and haul Lucasta up onto his lap so he could give her pets and scratches behind her ears. It wasn’t that he was anxious around the other Mauvian! Okay, maybe a little. But he knew Lucasta and she was nice to them -- even if he ended up crying from the things she told them to expect of the war.
“Hello Realta,” he said with another little wave, and then held out his hand to see if she wanted some chin scratches too. He was trying to see over Lucasta’s butt and overly fluffy tail as he held her in his lap, but she seemed to enjoy being scratched near her tail so it was fine.
He was grateful that neither he nor Amarynthos were allergic to cats! Well, they would have found out when Solieyu was around them first.
“Is it that strange that we’re, um… Squires of the Moon?” he asked, tilting his head curiously, nodding along to Amarynthos’ comment about not knowing almost anyone there. Just Alastor and Sessrumnir and he knew that Sessrumnir had family there. Valhalla and Ganymede, and Oberon too. But he also knew that he was pretty secretive about it, so he didn’t offer that information to the other Mauvian.
“I mean, I guess it makes sense if the Code didn't have others to keep places on the Moon safe before... Oh! I have healing magic now,” he chirped quietly with subdued excitement. “We’re gonna find out what Mary’s magic does once it’s needed. I bet it’s going to be really cool.”

Quote: Note: Surtur is a DSS, but does not have any physical features that would make him obviously not from Earth. DSS do not have different auras from normal Earth Senshi. Sailor SurturSurtur let out a quiet sigh, looking down at Ymir with a gentle sympathy that might have been a strange contrast to his sharper features and usually energetic expressions.
But Ymir had already drawn his attention to the woman (Rainier).
“Ah yes, she was of great assistance when I stumbled upon some fiendish creatures in the city’s underground. I was frustratingly surprised to find how quickly those of the Negaverse were willing to put aside differences and fight a common enemy. There is perhaps some hope for them to realize the error of their ways and to banish Chaos from themselves. Or they make very poor choices when it comes to engaging with the enemy.”
He wasn’t going to just let go of Ymir’s question. Not when they were going to face the unknown. And the known from their own hearts.
“I know you’ve suffered,” he said simply, although he didn’t look at him in an attempt to give Ymir some space, despite their closeness. He knew Ymir suffered, especially now that he was aware of the lies Ymir had been told in the past. Had he known, he was certain things would have been different.
Had he known, maybe Ymir’s Council and those who were afraid of Surtur conquering them, would have been proven right. Because there was no way Surtur would have accepted the political nonsense they’d apparently forced Ymir to live through.

Palatine, Knight of VenusPalatine accepted the flashlight from Sessrumnir. It was sturdy, and heavy enough that she probably could bludgeon something with it. As for the advice, she accepted that with a shallow arch of one pale eyebrow.
“I’ll expect a visit from Henri, then,” she said, only half joking. If the Chaos had a thing for late husbands, she wouldn’t be surprised if it tried to take the form of hers. “He can tell me everything I’ve done wrong, like he always did.”
She wasn’t worried. Maybe she should be; no doubt the Chaos had plenty to pick from if it could see into her heart. Still, Palatine doubted it would pose much of an issue for her. Maybe that was arrogance, but didn’t knowing ahead of time mean she’d be less likely to fall for it?
“Be careful,” she told Sessrumnir, who had more demons to draw from. Palatine glanced over Varuna and her friends (Lysithea, Adria, Malus, and Soleiyu) as well, adding, “That goes for all of you.”
She’d have to trust that Varuna’s new friends would look out for her.Quote: Considering this an EXIT post so I have less threads open! heart

Super Sailor PerditaPerdita managed a small smile, even if her worries didn’t lessen. Oberon spent too much time concerning himself with the safety and wellbeing of other people, and not enough time doing the same for himself.
“I’ll be fine, too,” she assured him.
A part of her was interested in seeing first hand how the Chaos here worked. She only hoped no one had to suffer for it.
Perdita squeezed Oberon’s hand in return. They didn’t do so for very long — just enough to exchange a bit of comfort, share a bit of confidence. Then, it was time to get to work.

Guardian Cat LucastaLucasta released a disgruntled “mrew” as Ephesus hauled her into his lap, but she allowed the pets and scratches and did not seem too displeased by the attention. In fact, once she settled into place, she seemed no less proud and dignified, as if she thought the affection well deserved.
“In time, you will learn many of the faces here, I’m sure,” she told Amarynthos.
Of course, she could not claim to know very many of them either. Faces came and went with the ebb and flow of the war. She was, however, quite confident that they would all become quite familiar with one another. After all, if they had answered Alastor’s call, then they were a dedicated bunch.
“To my knowledge, there have been no knights of the Moon before now,” she answered Ephesus. “In terms of the war, you and Amarynthos and others like you — assuming there are others like you — are a recent development.”
Having become acquainted with them already, Lucasta did not share Realta’s fascination. Even so, she could not blame the other Mauvian for being curious.
“Hope instead that you have no need to determine what Amarynthos’ magic does while we’re here,” she concluded.
Lucasta hopped off of Ephesus’ lap when she determined she had received sufficient attention. She brushed against both his and Amarynthos’ ankles, then gave Realta a nod of acknowledgement.
They had very little time left for fraternizing.
“Prepare yourselves,” she told them all.
Then, having satisfied her own curiosity, Lucasta scampered off to return to the vicinity of her bonded Senshi.

Quote: Though Ymir is a Deep Space Senshi, he looks human and wouldn’t be distinguishable as a DSS by appearance alone. Sailor YmirYmir offered Surtur a careless shrug.
The Negaverse was a problem they would have to deal with if they spent any longer on Earth, but Ymir generally found himself unconcerned by them. If they made poor choices, perhaps that would make dealing with them all the easier.
As for his suffering... Ymir didn’t care much to think about that.
“We’ve all suffered,” he said.
He, too, kept his gaze averted. He had suffered before stasis, it was true, but he couldn’t pretend as if his world dying around him while he slept through the worst of it would ever compare to the horror Surtur had most certainly been through. Surtur never spoke of it, not in depth, but Ymir knew there were many people Surtur cared for who were no longer among the living.
The same could be said for the both of them, of course, but to have witnessed it, to have watched the death and decay…
Surely Surtur had more to fear from the Chaos here than Ymir did.

Sailor DaphneHad her world only just fallen? Daphne couldn't answer that question. She remembered Chaos creeping in to her city. She remembered it turning her people against each other. She remembered two mobs coming for her in the night, and running to the savanna and calling out for help. She remembered everything going dark, and coming to on Earth. There were rumors that time had passed in the interim, but she wasn't sure how long a thousand Earth years were, or when things had started falling. She hadn't yet gone to see the state of her home. "I. I don't know," she said, because she didn't know how to slip the rest into a casual conversation, especially when Alastor was already talking. "I'm going to go find where he needs help," she said quickly, and she bit her lip to keep from thinking too much about what might be happening on her own world as she turned away to go find her station. Illyria, Guardian CatEven as she felt herself being lifted off the ground did Illyria give an affectionate rub of her head against Ida's arms. She'd missed this feeling of being coddled and held securely in one's arms. Even as Ida's fingers scratched underneath her chin did Illyria find herself relaxing in the familiarity of the gesture. There was a comforting little purr that started up in Illyria's body as she took in the sight from her new vantage point before closing her eyes as Ida's fingers switched to gently rubbing a spot between her ears. If only this were happening someplace else that didn't seem to have a problem occurring that needed to be fixed as soon as possible.
At the insistence that she picked up in Ida's words Illyria shifted the bulk of her small body before peering up at the Orchid senshi. "I have no plans to be separated from you. Look what happened last time I went off on my own," and here she flinched in remembrance. The experience was still in the forefront of her mind, "nope, going to stick as close to you as I'm allowed to. It's safer for you - and for me."

Eternal IdaThe eternal smiled gently at the assurance, choosing not to comment on the last time they'd gotten separated. That would have happened to anyone, at any time, so it was hardly Illyria's fault. Bending down, she pressed a tiny kiss to the soft forehead and then straightened, settling the Mauvian in her arms.
"Well, lets go take our place, huh? We have to make sure we help out now that we're here." She said, glancing up at the windows again. "Even with all of us here, I don't think its going to be an easy time. If the planet felt it needed all of us, this chaos has to be really strong."
Stepping forward, she carried Illyria off after the rest of the crowd, taking a light when offered and heading for their assigned place.[ EXIT ]

Sailor Shedir - Senshi of Mummies
Shedir had heard the call or in this case, the message she had suddenly received at around the prettiest time to look at the sun, midday. She was always ready to answer any message for help be it civilian, Senshi, or friend. Since when someone needed help a Senshi should always be there! or that's what she believed anyways. A little naive she knew, but anyone can make a difference if they at least try to help. She had learned that helping her parents renovate their hotel since she was still able to provide so much help even if she was the smallest one there.
Now the message had her ready for anything, literally, now it was nice to receive an update like that. Most of the time updates came in a lot of different ways, and she had learned they were normally more rushed in her experience. Now this time she really wasn't sure what to make of the message, but she knew this message was the beginning of a new adventure for her. No matter how little she might be she wanted to help! She knew she would help in any way she could on this adventure, and there was nothing going to stop her.
Then the time came, it was like the time flew by her eyes. Honestly, she really hadn't thought much time had even gone by. She really felt like it was deja vu but instead of a message, she could feel the pull or really the call for help. All she did was just nod. She was ready to go! She took the hand and didn't fight. wherever she was being pulled she let it take her. After all the plan must be beginning, and this was what she figured the start must be.
As soon as opened her emerald green eyes she had arrived on a foreign planet. She was blown away. Now to her, it looked beautiful, and she could see the beauty in the ruins. Since to her, the building being worn down like it was made it even more beautiful. It reminded her of her world, and how things could withstand time in such beautiful ways. Time was nothing more than a new decorator in her mind.
All of a sudden she felt a quick shiver as she stood in the hall. It felt cold, heavy, electric... and most of all chaotic atmosphere of the planet around her.
The place was magical in its own way to her. As she began to look around she noticed people were beginning to disperse. Maybe she had arrived a little later than she expected. Oops!
She quickly found her team, stepped forward, and took the light in her hand. Before she felt her body and the people in her group being dispersed somewhere else.
"I'll see you again beautiful hall," she said under her breath with a smile. As she imagined what could possibly be next for the people she now called her group.
[SHEDIR EXIT]Super Sailor Mira - Senshi of Sugar Mira had just finished baking a new batch of Halloween spider and cobweb cupcakes when she felt her phone go off in her pocket. One new message, the phone read aloud to her. She quickly put the cupcakes down on the cooling rack and raced to get her gloves off. The message was pertaining to the help she had offered to provide. She knew she may be needed at any time, so she quickly excused herself from the bakery. She couldn't have herself being called away from here, after all, how does one explain that sort of thing to non-magical ones? That was something she wasn't going to find out now or hopefully never, as she rushed out the doors.
She quickly raced into a hidden alley next to the bakery and transformed into her magical Senshi self. Until she received the next instructions she planned to be out on patrol just waiting. No matter how long that might be.
Now the call came much quicker than she could have ever imagined, it felt like it had only been minutes since she started her patrol. when in reality it had to have been hours, right? Either way, she could hear the call for help in her mind and she just nodded her head. "I'm here to help," she said in response. Even if it was in her head she felt the need to answer, but she was already ready for wherever they needed her to go.
She felt the shimmer of golden light as she was whisked away to a new world. As she traveled through the light she felt her feet land on something study. She opened her eyes to adjust to the scenery around her. How long had she traveled through the light that felt like time froze? She didn't get much time for questions as her legs felt cold, it was as if she had entered a place void of happiness and the bright sunshine she felt at home.
This land was definitely different from anywhere else she had ever been, but she could still feel that need to help. This world needed her help and no matter how cold or void of light it was, she was going to do her best to help.
As she looked around trying to figure out where she was, she noticed her feet were on the ground in what looked to be at one point a hall maybe. Time had definitely taken its toll here though and she was sure in its former glory it was probably more magnificent than she could ever imagine.
Trying to imagine what this place once looked like, she listened and noticed the others were starting to disappear. Somehow she must have traveled too long in that light and arrived late. She quickly rushed to the group where she heard her name, grabbed her light with a slight thank you, and felt herself being transported to the next place in her adventure.
Who knew what would lie ahead? [MIRA EXIT]

‘It is deep rooted, and old, and powerful, now. I let it go unchecked for too long, and the time when I might have been able to destroy it myself is long passed. I’ve held it bay, but that’s hardly saying much. I don’t know if there are others out there that have been fighting it too, but I’ve had no connection with anyone else on my world. All I know is that I am here, and I can only imagine that it is because my world needs me to destroy it.’Erytheia felt a deep sadness. He knew what Chaos was like on a world, but, somehow, this felt worse. Much worse. How long had it been here? How long had the senshi been fighting it alone? The knight was struck by all he still did not know. He knew next to nothing about the Deep Space senshi that had come to Earth so recently. And he knew even less about the scope of the worlds out there. Were these not all starseeds Cosmos was supposed to protect? How many had not survived the Chaos and returned to the Cauldron? “I’m sorry.”Erytheia could say nothing more and there was nothing more he could say. The rest must be action. He gripped his bow tightly. It would have to be what his words could not. He left silently to the South Wall with a weariness of a man twice his age. ✪
