It's a bit stretching things but I could see it. I was just looking at the wings on the ponies and the wings on the sword as the similar points.

Horns not weapons? I was under the impression that horns was the evolutionary predecessor of any pointed weapon. Ask any rhino.

Weapon in the sense we understand a weapon. Such as a sword, dagger, ect ect.

Exactly. I understand horns as weapons the same as any who should. An instrument or appendage or implement to injure or protect. Ancient warriors used horns and other sharp animal parts as weapons. Check that clawed spear of the Drome egg. Horned helms can be used to gouge and maim people. Considering the horns as a mere fashion accessory brings service to this ancient weapon.

Honestly, I simply dont think horns should go with the EI. I would LOVE to see a set in this color but I think adding them to the EI would simply piss off too many people. It makes no sense. Its COMPLEATLY out of left field. At least with the DDD you could make the excuse "its a plant monster. its bound to do that" or the pora "its an ice shield. ice monster to ice shield" There both a stretch but an argument can be made there.

What argument could be made for horns in this EI?

I agree, and it doesn't fit anything with this EI anyway. most of the time it at least followed somehting. The pony sword had wings, the spore was still a spore, ice shields are normal in most fantasy/scifi.
just straight up horns from a likely fox spirit? naaaaaaaah

Try this line instead. The spear's end was fashioned from the overgrown toenail of the raptor--a characteristic feature of that particular species. And the observations on the DDD and the Pora Ice are all hindsight. What can people do if it's already there? Oh right. Get offended. They'd get offended for one reason or another.

Anyway. I just thought horns of gold and white would be pretty, to hell with logic. I often see people argue out the non-obvious but eventually come to accept them because they're there. But until the end of the evolution of this EI, it's still an open field.

I'm hoping for some little fox spirits flying around you, almost like we have now just more defined as foxes. Or maybe something similar to the rabbit from Hermes' Moon.

That is one of the thigns I am hoping for as well as having them as pets (with a decent "sit by my side" pose we seem to not be gettign lately). Kitsune skin, ears and tail are among the other things. I also want a "I am Kitsune-fox" pose!! Gaia needs more critters wandering around! There isnt enough! Need a whole ZOO! *giggles*

you are right it is still an open field...however it's narrowing quickly..unless gem2niki threw in horns right now and completely throw all of us for a ride..which would be kinda funny...I just don't see them coming from this. Once again I agree with you they would be absolutely beautiful...but following some sort of path doesn't seem plausible...I don't know just doesn't seem like it will happen...

In relation to actual accesories, I want to see anklets with the tassels, a similar concept to the Nagai Headband, only with the beads wrapping around the body in a similar manner to the Corallus's Slither pose, and the same strand of beads attached to the bottom-center of the head ala Yuna's absurd ponytail and the tassel becoming very hand-like.

I bolded and made blue what I want desperately. I was going to post it but decided to read the thread first... looks like at least one other person was thinking what I was thinking ;3

OOOOO!!!!!! Take the hand held option from the first stage and make it into an anklet. That would be awesome!!!!!

They also mentioned earrings and somethign else I think we got. Dont remember. It could easily turn into a silk sash or another scarf or cloak now that I think about it. With the tassels of course. (wonders if artist has that in mind)


I cant see where horns could come into this, but I CAN see where a katana could. A nice blue (what do you call them? It escapes my brain at this time) for a side mount and back mount pose for said katana with a tassle on it.

Same with the Katana idea. Someone mentioned it earlier, and I meant to say this then, but I think it would be nice to see a EI that didn't turn into a weapon, and also didn't turn into a dress...

True. But you have to admit that we seem to get a lot of that and it does make some kind of logical sense. People do keep asking for these things and it runs through my mind.

We dont know what the artitst has in mind. And we ARE only just guessing.
Actually, I rather think its fun to try and see if we can get even close to what the artists are thinking in their "storyline". Though it is a bit dissapointing in being wrong, its still fun.
Personally, I come into these things with NO expectations. Only speculations. And I love watchign other people speculate. Some I agree with, others I dont (horns).
I also find it very fun to watch people's reactions when these items do their next gen evos.

This is my version of a Kitsune Fire Fox Spirit transformation. Done with some of the things we have available. It took a lot of thought for this as I wanted it done RIGHT with what I have. But here it is. I hope you like.
Its as close as I can come.

Who else can do one?

(mayhaps will provide some inspiration to the artist even)
