We want to give a special thanks to Mariko. When the forum update came out, all the links change, ruining our entire archive. Mariko volunteered to go fix them.
Please include the appliance(s) needed to make the recipe. ie. stove, oven, microwave, fridge (for chilling), magic bullet, george foreman grill, toaster
Also, remember, if you have more than one recipe, post them in separate posts so that Taki can link them in our recipe section.
Please go through the list to make sure you're not posting something exactly like or similar to what we already have, thanks.
**Due to the odd nature of the forum upgrade, you may need to scroll down a bit to reach your recipe. Despite this, the links ARE correct.**

Chicken and Black Bean Wrap
Appliances Needed: Stovetop, Magic Bullet (or other blender)
Taki's Level of Difficulty for the Average College Student:stressedstressed
Black Bean Sauce (base credit goes to The Sonoma Diet cookbook)
1 can black beans (drained)
1/2 cup onion
1/4 cup green onion
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 cup water
juice of 1 lime
1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
1/2 cup cilantro (or 1 tablespoon dried cilantro)
1/4 tsp kosher salt
On a skillet with medium heat, cook the onions, cumin, and coriander until tender. Stir in cilantro.
Blend everything together in the magic bullet (I like to blend the non-bean items first due to not having enough space and then blending the beans, and THEN mixing the two together)
It makes a lot.
THEN you need
A few cooked chicken strips you stole.. I mean saved.. from the cafeteria (or frozen cooked chicken, just heat those up according to the label)
Tortilla
Feta cheese
Spinach or lettuce
Salsa
Spread some bean sauce on the tortilla and top it with whatever you like. The bean sauce is very versatile and it's good on *anything*
Taki's Level of Difficulty for the Average College Student:heart
1 regular sized tub of Cool Whip
1 tub of cottage cheese (small or large depending on your love of cottage cheese) If it's small, you can make the whole thing in the Cool Whip tub. If it's larger, get a bigger tupperware bowl.
2 boxes Jello Instant Pistacchio Pudding
1 can crushed pineapple (or 2 small cans)
Do I really have to explain this? Just mix everything together, chill, and enjoy. :]
Taki's Level of Difficulty for the Average College Student:stressed
1 fillet of fish. I have Tilapia up there just because, but you can use other types of white fish. Not really for Tuna or Salmon though (haven't tested it on those)
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 slice of lemon for squirting after it's cooked.
Preheat oven to 350. Get a large pan or cookie sheet and put some aluminum foil on the bottom. Spray with nonstick cooking spray. Put your seasoned fish on the aluminum and fold it over, making a pouch. If you want to be sassy, throw in some grape tomatoes, cilantro, and green onions in the pouch, too.

The Ramen Cube that Believes it's a Ramen Cup
Appliances Needed: Stove
Our first guest recipe!
Boiling Water
Ramen (with seasoning packet)
Frozen Vegetables (peas, carrots, etc)
Celery
Bok Choy
Frozen Shrimp
Anything else that sounds tasty
Pour boiling water over bowl. The hot water thaws and heats the frozen stuff and makes the noodles yummy.
You can also use the same ingredients in a pot like the directions say. But before you add the noodles to the boiling water you can add a beaten egg to the pot for extra yummyness.
Taki's Level of Difficulty for the Average College Student:heart
1 package of Instant Ramen
Water
Some Tomato Sauce (Ragu, Prego, whatever)
Parmesean Cheese
Make your ramen as usual, by stovetop or microwave, but discard the flavor packet. Drain the water from the ramen. Add your desired amount of tomato sauce, stir, and microwave for 1 minute. Stir again and microwave for 30 seconds. Sprinkle parmesean cheese and enjoy.
Nummy Mushroom Soup
Also known as 3 Mushroom Soup in the Sonoma Diet Cookbook
Appliances Needed: Stove
Taki's Level of Difficulty for the Average College Student:heart - stressed (chopping, mainly)
Make about 4 servings
No measuring required! Seriously!
2 portabello mushroom caps, chopped
handful of regular mushrooms, chopped
handful of shiitake mushrooms, chopped
(try other kinds of mushrooms)
1/2 cup onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 sprigs of fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dried thyme
3 cans vegetable broth/stock (or chicken stock)
olive oil
Drizzle olive oil in a pot (a good size, not too shallow, not too deep) and cook mushrooms, onion, and garlic until moisture cooks out (medium heat). It'll be about 10 minutes. Add the broth and thyme. Bring to boiling, then bring back down to medium heat. Cover and let simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
