It really doesn't make sense. >.< KH is a stable, successful series, and while I haven't tried the KH mobile MMO, I have noticed that a lot of mobile MMOs are sketchy at best. It's just so wild that they'd twist them together. Like you said, they tainted their own series for no reason. x.x

But, KH is run by SE, right? SE does a lot of dumb things. lmao

I was doing the latest event on FFXIV over the weekend, and all I can think is: "how can someone think this is a good idea?" and "is everyone at SE stupid?" lol

they made 2 new races but they were complaining that it was too hard to remold all the items to the new characters

cuz they want people doing older content, to kinda justify it still being there?
like it helps people who havent done it yet. so they can get into queues.

I HATE THE NEW ONES. i didnt mind the ones where u were climbing up the cactuar statue
but these new ones where you have to like... collect different lil statues through stupid little paths
is SO DUMB. it wouldnt be SO bad?? if there were like 20 people in an instance.
but its like at LEAST 100 people all running and trying to jump onto these lil platforms THAT YOU CANT EVEN SEE ANYMORE CUZ THERE ARE TOO MANY BODIES ON THEM
they literally only made these new jump gates cuz of the jump quests in kugane being popular so theyre like 'I GUESS THEY LIKE JUMPING ON THINGS, LETS DO A GATE' UUUUUUGHHH

We did talk about it, but it's okay; it's a great example. lol

And, tbh, I don't think that it's that helpful? The Moogle event could have been helpful, but like you said, MSQ and CT are roulettes, and only a handful of leveling dungeons count for the event. It's just a pointless grind. >.< It's even worse, too, because in previous years, the event earrings were purchaseable with gil. I wish that they included HW dungeons/24-mans or even pre-70 SB dungeons. Like, Yo-kai and Garo were grindy af, but veteran players got something out of it—exp, seals, marks—whereas the Moogle event really has no incentive—all but one item is even obtainable via alternate means.

The Gold Saucer event would have been helpful during the FFXV collab (since the event items totalled 230k? MGP), but... rip >.< I like the event—don't get me wrong—but I don't get their timing. lol

Omg! I know exactly what GATE you're talking about, and I hate it, too! I absolutely despise jump puzzles as is, but cramming so many people in such a small area??? Whyyy?!? The other one they added—Air Force One, I think?—is pretty fun, tho. It reminds me of a roller coaster mini-game on Rocket: Robot on Wheels for N64. lol

Bureaucratic red tape..that and people in those positions half the time don't even know what they are doing.

True story, my mom is disabled due to her foot being..no longer foot shaped. So she always has state forms to fill out...so she filled them out, sent them in and waited...and waited...and waited. Then, all assistance was cut off because they claim she never filled them in and sent them back (which she so did) so it was a lot of calling around tracking down what happened...turned out, the people at the local office just had them there...sitting...never looked at them or forwarded them on..just failed to do the job they are being paid for.
