1. GATHERING INTELLIGENCE

Interviewers and interrogators use mirroring to set up connection with defendants. And it can work the same for you: When you are negotiating or pitching, attempt harking back to the stance of your strength. If he starts to mirror yours back, it is a good sign you have put him at ease.
