A day in the life of Princess Orphelia
An update on what's happening so far.

We finally went to the doctor to see the outcome of the surgery. After waiting for over a week to find out. sweatdrop

The doctor told us the surgery went well. And that the cancer had been removed. It was rather large in size measuring at 3cm. And that it was also a stage 3, as far as cancer stages exist. However, the good thing is, that it hadn't spread into the lymph nodes or anywhere else in the system. So that's a good news for us to know. sweatdrop

The next thing we've got to do is visit two more doctors. Actually these are Professors, and one of them is for Oncology and the other is for Radiation. So it's a matter of waiting until our appointment comes, which will be in the next few weeks, to see these doctors, that we'd find out what has to be done next.

That's all I have at this stage, until seeing our next doctors. I never knew there was so much waiting and involvement in seeing so many different doctors. And what makes it hard, is the fact that it does not happen all at once, we've got wait until our appointment comes around. So it ends up being a few weeks in between each thing that we need to do. sweatdrop

I'm glad the the outcome is positive. Cancer is such a hard thing to endure. The same goes for seeing different doctors every so often. We go through the same thing with doctors here in the states. Maybe it's a routine thing for them.

Personally, I'd rather get everything taken care of ASAP.

hey glad to hear it didn't spread to the lymph nodes. waiting's the worst part, but maybe you can bring an activity to do while you are waiting.

Best of luck and much love
