[Tales of WD]

Within the Watership Down warren there are rabbits with specific roles and tasks denoted by special line art. These rabbits can be found in events and meta, but the lines can also be earned by regular members of the warren through rp and Flayrah points.

Each Flayrah point is equal to one single 2-page RP of good standing that can be used to change the rank of one of their rabbits.

But you cannot change your rank on Flayrah points alone! There is a limit to how many points you can exchange per rank, and the rest must be in the form of good RP. Participating in a Raid or in 3 races counts as a finished RP! Keep that in mind.

The Owsla




Captain of Owsla: Currently Unavailable - Will be selected by Staff members if position ever needs to be filled.
The highest rank any rabbit can reach, aside from Chief. Depending upon the size of the warren, there can be more than one captain. They report directly to the Chief, and oversee the operations of all the other owsla officers. Or, in the case of several Owsla captains, can command an assigned squad of officers. Their word is second only to the Chief's.

Captain Requirements:
Extensive RP will be needed to gain this position, and the rabbit must have already served as an officer in the Owsla and then be promoted, in-character through RP, to Captain by the Chief of the warren. Captains must have at least 15 points in Fortitude.





Owsla Officer: Available
The Owsla are the elite members of the warren, and are typically the smartest and strongest rabbits. Most Owsla officers are bucks, but it is not unheard of for does to be officers as well (this is, however, rare). The Owsla oversee order and the safety of the warren, and report directly to their captains or the Chief.

Owsla Requirements:
At least 10 completed RPs, of 2 pages or more, are needed before you can request your rabbit to be an Owsla. However, if these RPs do not show any good qualities in your character that are needed to be a good Owsla officer, your request may be denied. To make a request, send a PM to the shop mule with the links of at least 10 RPs and a description on why your character should be made an Owsla officer. Guild RPs only please. Owsla must have at least 10 points in Fortitude.

Roles in the Warren

Runner: Available
Only the swiftest and fleetest of foot may occupy the basic role of runner in a warren. A few usually go on raids or wide patrols to carry out tasks that require speed such as leading away elil. However, the rabbit must not only be fast, but also have a great amount of endurance. They can also be used as messengers for quicker communication between warrens.

Runner Requirements:
At least 5 completed, of 2 pages or more, are needed to make your rabbit a runner. The RPs must show examples of the rabbit's skill in running. To make a request, send the links for the RPs, to the shop mule. Guild RPs only please. Runners must have at least 5 points in Speed.




Storyteller: Available
Storytellers are the imaginative and creative members of the warren. They help pass on lapine and warren history by telling it in the form of stories, usually of El-ahrairah. Listening to stories is a favorite pass time for many rabbits, young and old, and a storyteller can draw crowds, especially on a rainy day. They are not just limited to stories though, and will often compose their own songs and poems.

Storyteller Requirements:
For your rabbit to become a storyteller, you must have at least 5 completed RPs, at least two pages in length, of your rabbit telling a full story. Try to draw out the story and not just make it one long blurb in one post, so that those listening to your story may react to it. If the RP shows that your rabbit is a good storyteller, the role will be granted. To make a request, send the RP links to the shop mule. Guild RPs only please. Story tellers do not have a stat requirement, but will have an easier time holding the attention of kittens with a higher Luck stat.




Seer: Available - Please see post below for details.
Seers are exceptionally gifted individuals. Their talents usually lie in that of the supernatural. Having anywhere from strong intuition to even paralyzing visions. There is generally mixed feelings regarding rabbits that have this rare ability, from disbelief to awe. They also have been known to see or even communicate with spirits. Seers typically can not see direct visions of the future, but rather symbolic images that have significant meaning. Its often difficult to determine these visions, the rabbit simply being guided by what they have seen as well as what they feel.

Seer Requirements:
This stage is the rarest of the lot, and can only be acquired through special events or a very lucky turn of the dice. You can not gain them through RP, but you won't lose them for not RPing either. Still, Seers will be few and far between, and RP contests will be the most likely way to acquire them as RPing is encouraged. Seers do not have a stat requirement, and by their very virtue will have a penalty to Fortitude.

Other

Hlessi: Available - Currently two more rabbits could become Hlessi if they so wish.
Hlessi are essentially the rogues of the rabbit world. However, don't let this fool you; it is far from glamorous. Hlessi have no holes or burrows in which to seek shelter, living out in the open with the constant threat of attack from elil. It is a very stressful life, as rabbits prefer to live in warrens, where there is safety in numbers. More often than not, Hlessi are rabbits that left a warren for whatever reason, and are seeking to join another or make their own. If you wish your rabbit to be a Hlessi, then you may make a request to the shop mule. However, please keep in mind that Hlessi are fairly uncommon. It is preferred that most rabbits are in a warren. If there is an increasing amount of Hlessi, they may become unavailable. Hlessi do not have a stat requirement, but good stats will increase the livelihood of a Hlessi.

Owsla

Must Have - 10 Guild RPs of good standing, that show exemplary characteristics of an Owsla Officer in the rabbit requesting the rank change.

● May use up to 8 Flay-rah points to meet the requirements for a rank change.
● RP must be in the guild, at least 2 pages in length, with good-sized posts.
● The RP being used MUST include the rabbit requesting the rank change.
● If the staff do not see Owsla material in the rabbit within the rp, we may deny your change.
● Owsla officers can be demoted if they are found to be bad officers (IC) or are inactive for an extensive period of time (i.e. months and months without any activity at all).
● Owsla officers must have at least 10 points in Fortitude. If they do not have a stat cert, upon being accepted as Owsla they must apply for one and have at least 10 points assigned to Fortitude.

Runner

Must Have - 5 Guild RPs of good standing, that show a skill in running; such as winning a race or helping an Owsla officer in a task requiring speed.

● May use up to 4 Flay-rah points to meet the requirements for a rank change.
● RP must be in the guild, at least 2 pages in length, with good-sized posts.
● The RP being used MUST include the rabbit requesting the rank change.
● If the staff do not see any show of skill in speed and cunning in the RP presented for the rank change, we may deny your request.
● Runners can in fact be demoted, if the owner doesn't show any activity at all in the shop for several months.
● Runners must have at least 10 points in Speed. If a Runner doesn't have a stat cert, upon becoming a Runner they must apply for one and there must be at least 5 points assigned to Speed.

Storyteller

Must Have - 5 Guild RPs of good standing, that show a skill in telling a story, being charismatic, and otherwise being a wordsmith.

● May use up to 4 Flay-rah points to meet the requirements for a rank change.
● RP must be in the guild, at least 2 pages in length, with good-sized posts.
● The RP being used MUST include the rabbit requesting the rank change.
● If the staff do not see any show of skill in storytelling, holding a captive audience, and weaving stories that remain true to the style of Watership down we may deny your rank change.
● Storytellers are not demoted, though it's always sad to see one collecting dust.

Seer

Must Have - A finished rp of at least two pages in length, or if a self-rp at least a thousand words, where the rabbit in question either has a dream, a déjà vu, or a foreboding feeling. Something that hints at being a Seer without having abilities outright. Must cash in 1 Flayrah, and must roll a d100.

Dice Roll - The d100 must land on 100 to become a Seer. If the dice land on 1, the rabbit perishes due to going tharn and not snapping out of it. If the dice land on 50, the rabbit goes blind.

● In your form you must explain the extent of your rabbit's powers if he or she becomes a Seer.
● If the Staff feels that the powers are too much, or not realistic in terms of the setting of the shop, we may Veto your form.
● You can try with as many rabbits as you have the Flayrah to try with, but each rabbit can only try for Seer once a month.
● You have to accept the terms that your rabbit might die, be called away by Inle` in the effort to become a Seer, or might go blind.
● Please roll a d100 when posting this form. Be aware that if you delete your post, we will kill off a rabbit of yours at random by dice roll as punishment. DON'T EVER DELETE YOUR POSTS. Quote it and post again if you forgot to roll or need to edit your form.

Hlessi

Must Have - There are no requirements for becoming a Hlessi, other than a reason why and as long as there isn't an overabundance in the shop already.

● Must explain why the rabbit in question is becoming a Hlessi.
● Hlessi cannot be demoted, as there's no rank lower than them.

Briefly describe your rabbit's personality and why this would make them a good runner. What other skills besides speed do they possess that might benefit the warren and merit the rank change. Hydrangea is an extremely persistent and determined rabbit. His first two races weren't so good but he kept trying and managed to improve his speed each time and I believe he has room to grow even still. That last race has made him aware of the risks involved in being a runner and he is still prepared to do what it takes for the warren. He's also apparently good at catching animal attention, so if anyone ever needed a distraction, Hyd's your buck!

He didn't really get hurt much at all in the races, but he did get distracted by does a few times. If you wanted to make him look a little flirty, that might work.

Sparrow was never a really ambitious rabbit; he'd gone content for a long time just being an average warren member, not thinking too much about anything other than where his next meal was coming from or how to attract female attention. To this day he couldn't tell you why he answered the Owsla's call for runner recruitment- but he's certainly glad that he did! He feels a newfound sense of pride and responsibility, but definitely prefers scouting missions to actual raids.

In short, he's got a strong drive to make up for his "handicap" (the white pelt) by being smarter, quicker and better than other rabbits. He used to be quite the individualist (for a rabbit) but he's learning to play nice and cooperate with others. Long story

Patchouli can be the sort to bite off more than he can chew, but he has a good head on his shoulders and possesses a fair amount of common sense. He's still a cocky young buck, one that is driven to prove himself to the warren. He does have an eye for the ladies, but generally stays in line and works hard. He takes a lot of pride in his warren and will gladly do what is needed of him, even if it means luring away elil and risking his own neck in the process. Keeping the warren safe and well fed is priority.
