I've come to like the idea of the ring system, just because, unlike in other games, you're not limited in anyway by what you look like, or what class you chose at the beginning of the game.

Ofcourse I'm going to play the Battle System.

But the Mantis Ring's animation looks so much more high quality than the Katanas we have. surprised

Stupid, "n00bish" question, I know, but did they ever really say that they would use your weapons? I always remember, since I heard of the Battle System, that avi items, Collectables in particular (which are pretty much the only weapons available), would have no bearing on the BS.

And I think you know which side of the fence I'm on...

Although I think you're doing yourself a great disservice by dismissing the game based on lack of weapons, would it really be so awful to go into it with an open mind? You could find yourself really, really enjoying it, as opposed to disliking it from the getgo based on the way the combat system is set up.
