I'm not really pro- or anti-ring.
I'd like to reserve judgment until I've tried it.

Me neither, it's just kind of appauling to me that they would scrap such a good, do-able idea they had way back when.


It sounded so fun and epic, but now it just feels like they've watered it down...

I'm kind of happy they got rid of the classes.

I hate set skill trees.
And the "customize your own" thing is so much more Gaia-ie.

Well, being able to make your own classes is fine, but than they just had to take away the usability of our weapons.


D: I wanted so bad to chop things up with my katana, and charm people with some kind of bardic music ability...

Stupid, "n00bish" question, I know, but did they ever really say that they would use your weapons? I always remember, since I heard of the Battle System, that avi items, Collectables in particular (which are pretty much the only weapons available), would have no bearing on the BS.

The collectibles weren't supposed to be used, but they were going to release battle-specific weapons and armor in a shop, and as drops and stuff.

There's still going to be that shop, but just like all of our items they were going to be cosmetic only.

Weapons would be cool, but i like the idea of the ring system. It includes spells.

I would of course play the game no matter which system was used.

~I'm basically siding for the rings. I as a player find this new feature incredibly unique(Meaning i obviously have not experienced any similar feature in any other game I've played to date) and i expect this new feature to be a huge success on the upcoming release.
