I support the Development team in their decision to use Rings, and yes, I plan on using the battle system if time is available during school.

I don't care what they use, honestly. It's a new experience, and it'll be fun in it's own ways. If I wanted to grind and buy fifteen MCs a month in order to do well in a game, I'd go play WoW, or something.

-What side of the debate are you on? (Rings, or weapons?)
-Are you actually planning to use the BS?

Of course I'll play it. It's something new, something that will make me some gold, and get me stuff to sell in the market for even more gold.

There are no sides to take. Rings are what we are getting, end of story.
And that's fine with me. Sure, I've got "stuff", I even carry a wand around with me, but it's there for looks, and that doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Even if I were festooned with weaponry, I still accept that they'd just be eye-candy.

And given the small number of actual weapons available, and the jacked-through-the-roof market prices, I'm actually glad they're going with a ring system. I can think of any number of things other than the few weapons out there to waste my gold on anyways. Besides, could you really see me swinging around a big, heavy scythe? Or a flame sword? Me either.

Weapons would be cool, but they'd require way to much work to get movements to look good, so frankly, I don't care

I've never played runescape, so I wouldn't know how the level up.


Also, I haven't gotten a chance (Like the res of us) to play the BS.

I personally support the new battle system and the rings system.I've tried creating games in the past, so I know how much work it takes to create all the stats if they had to go back and develop plans and animations for every possible weapon and piece of armor that can be used. Also, yes, I'm eagerly awaiting the battle system's release.

My apologies for getting into this thread late. Considering this will be one of the few massive online games(even mini-games) I can actually play on my machine I will most definitely partake in the fun. biggrin

Altarius, I am sure you are well aware of my position on the Rings vs Weapons debate by now wink . There really isn't question when you take the Parasol Paradox into account. This has been my argument all along, it's just taken me some time to display/phrase it properly.
