I was on gaia back in highschool. Of course that account is long gone now. So, I've created a new one. It's been years since I've been here. A lot has changed and I'm pretty lost. I hope this place is as active as I remember.

I'm frustrated to start fresh but glad as well. Who wants to be constantly reminded of their teenage self? Lol. Long story short, I need all the help I can get.

Well, about me. I'm 23 years old, I share a home with my boyfriend, and spend the majority of my time at my job. I'm a full time retail manager. (I will not disclose where for privacy reasons.) I'm a child at heart, I adore my build a bear and still play pokemon (have been since 1998.) I watch cartoons when time allows. And if I could build a blanket fort and hide from adulthood, I would do so often.

Anything else, ask away. I stink at introducing things about me. I never know quite what to include.

It actually started as the most irritating pet name ever. My boyfriend knew it bugged me so he said it all the time. Once coworkers heard it it was all over. Eventually it just became normal. lol

So, I haven't been here since about 2009. It seems like the market has inflated insanely. Please tell me earning gold has gotten easier.

✓ [Inexpensive Items] - Keep an eye on this thread for low-priced items.
The marketplace is constantly fluctuating, so you never know when you might get a good deal.

✓ [ Cheap Outfits ] - A collection of cheap avatar ideas that look nice
and are usually under 50k or so. I believe the thread is now closed,
but the outfits should still be there for reference.

✓ [ Free Items ] - This thread will supply you with some free item grants.
Keep an eye out as more may pop up at any time.

✓ [ Charities ] - Self-explanatory.
People can be very generous to those in need.

Misc & Gold-Making Tips

[ Aquariums ] will sometimes glow and you
will be able to play a game called Booty Grab where you collect falling gold.
You can make a good 100k+ a day if you really work at it.

[ Dumpster Dive ] is an activity you can do to gain free items.
Sometimes you will get trash, other times you can get items. You never really know!

Many of Gaia's [ Games ] earn you gold or tickets
or they can just be a way to kill time!

You can catch bugs or collect trash in [ Towns ] and sell them on the marketplace
for decent amounts of gold. You can also do the same by catching fish in [ Fishing ]

Some ways you can earn gold are the Daily chance carts(8 in total), the games(puzzles and fishing are pretty fun), and by posting in the forums.
And if you want to save up gaia cash just click on that little red tv that pops up at the top. All you have to do is watch a video then click on one of the blue cards at the bottom.
You can also check out the Dumpster Dive to get random stuff. Could be anything from bugs and flowers to items people felt like donating. Which is pretty nice in my opinion.

You also kinda remind me of my best friend(she also loves build-a-bear). I mean I never got into liking it but I see the appeal. smile
