I'm seriously waiting for someone to be so sick of Cam Newton's bullshit that they tackle the living ******** out of him mid-celebration.

And the referees also seem to conveniently "forget" that his celebration is both an unsportsmanlike conduct and excessive celebration penalty.

Do you want to risk giving up 15 yards and a possible suspension just to send a message?

You want to Shut Cam Newton Up, Play some ******** defense and keep him out of the endzone in the first place.

Doesn't change the fact that it's excessive celebration and the referees conveniently look the other way. A quick celebration is fine, taking 15-20 seconds to do some retarded dance should be flagged.

Then why not ban All celebrations regardless if they are excessive or not. Either let the players celebrate *within reason* or dont let them celebrate at all and keep everything boring and business-like.

You can reason however you want, the fact is Newton is by definition getting away with excessive celebration.

Its all about Race. Its bad when RGIII and Cam Newton does it and when Chad Ochocinco did it back in the day but if Tom Brady, Aaron Rogers or J.J. Watt did the same exact thing no one would question it.

If Its ok for Aaron Rodgers then its ok for Cam Newton. Otherwise ban all celebrations.

And One more thing, Cam Newton would be the UNDISPUTED NFL MVP if he was WHITE.

But he wont win. Bank on Tom Brady getting the MVP, even if Cam led the Panthers to an Undefeated Season and won the Super Bowl.

Are you seriously going to pull the race card here?

I could care less what race he is.

And none of those mentioned players do celebrations that take 15-20 seconds to finish.

This is the US, everything is about Race.

Sure the Panthers are undefeated. But are they really good, or are they just taking advantage of an NFL season where 75% of the teams are AWFUL at best.

Other than New England, Green Bay, Cincy, Denver, Arizona, who is really good?

You know what would be really funny, if the NFC East Champion got into the playoffs sub .500 and won the Super Bowl.

Man, it really is hard on the soul to be a Browns fan.

The Bengals are pathetic. They should not be allowed in the playoffs.

They say Cleveland is the most depressing franchise in the NFL and Yea there is no hope of them ever winning any time in our lifetimes...

but for a strong #2 I nominate the Dallas Cowboys. As long as they are owned by Jerry Jones they will never win another super bowl.

Most depressing NFL franchises:

1. Cleveland *Absolutely no winning seasons since 1964, lost the original franchise to Baltimore and came back as an expansion team and had 20+ quarterbacks and nothing to show for it.
2. Detroit *0-16, no conference title since 1957*
3. All three Florida Teams *Last title was 2002, pretty much been irrelevant since*
4. Arizona, Oldest NFL franchise and only 1 Conference title since the Super Bowl Era.
5. Buffalo *4 Super Bowls and nothing to show for it and no playoff appearances since 1999*
6. Oakland, although showing signs of life, havent been relevant, possible move out of Oakland*
7. Tennessee Titans, Houston/TN Oilers and Houston Texans, only 1 conference title between these teams*
8. *Tie* St. Louis and San Diego The Future LA Teams, will they stay or will they go? Come on already
9. New York Jets, irrelevant, the red headed stepchildren of New Jersey. Not even New York wants them.
10. *Tie* Cincinnati and Atlanta

Least Depressing NFL Franchises

1. New England
2. Green Bay
3. Pittsburgh
Basically these three teams have no reason to be angry or depressed cause they been spoiled by success. They have 0 reason to complain about anything between now and the next century.

What a load of horse s**t. IF Cam doesn't win, it's going to be strictly about statistics, nothing to do with skin tone.

Cam is way down the list.

Is he critical to the Panthers? Yeah, he is. But so is Brady to the Patriots. This will come down to the final stretch as to who deserves and wins it. But top three right now? Brady, Palmer, Newton.
