                                  Eiji remained silent as he glanced to the side as he looked upon his confidant. The girl whom had lashed and shrugged him off a few months ago was back, which made him smirk just slightly. He held her just a bit closer as she finished her tea, a silent but reassured hold that he was cheekily happy with standing up to Death. He looked to the pot as everything he put in were just about done, and he nodded with Szallah as he began passing bowls and food out according to everyone’s preference. He watched as Ophelia, whom appeared to have came back from the frightful darkness she was in came looking at the food with an almost longing look. Eiji didn’t stop her from over filling her bowl, and only reacted with a smile as he replaced all the food that was being taken out from everyone with more if they wanted seconds.

                                  He held his bowl in his left hand as he looked over at Szallah as she tapped his hand wondering if he had any concerns left before being allowed to eat. He was about to raise his chop sticks observing the room, Serenity and Dorian sat on the other end of the table, Yoshio came in. Siverina stood just a bit away with a dress in her hand, Ophelia looking back at her. His heart warmed at the activeness Siverina was in. It was far more welcoming than her trapping herself in their room. “There’s plenty still to come Ophelia. No need to rush.” Eiji put in another bunch of udon into the bowl, he began to eat himself as he tried remembering something that was off.His eyes widened as he looked about. He looked at Szallah and leaned in.

                                  Luciana isn’t around…with Malachi out for the evening…the poor thing must be about alone…I don’t believe we should allow her to be unattended while her father is away. I’ll be right back dear. Why not converse with Ophelia and Siverina for a spell. I apologize for constantly getting up…I’ll ensure not to be anything but at your side in private.” He rubbed her arm reassuring that the end of the night was theirs. He stood up as he placed his bowl down. As he was straightening his shirt, from kneeling he looked to Yoshio requesting he place music on.

                                  Of course, that sounds like a good idea. Choose something fitting for the evening.” Eiji gracefully walked around the others seated as he danced towards the foyer as he looked down the first hallway towards his room, and what would be Malachi’s room right next to it. It wouldn’t hurt to check his and his daughter’s room first for her. He walked down the hall as he listened through the door if he could hear anything. He very gently opened the door, and with luck, there was the young count’s daughter. She was alone, and he wondered why she sat alone in the relative dark.

                                  He knocked the door softly to present his presence to her, hoping not to scare her as she did before. “Luciana? Dear why are you all by yourself? Don’t you wish to eat with the others?” Eiji quietly slid into the room as he left the door ajar abit. He noticed her attention was to something else as he looked around the room. “What were you doing young one?”

Enki’s heart felt like it was going to explode for sure now, with Malachi smiling the biggest smile she had ever seen from him, laughing and squeezing his love into her with his arms. She had said yes. Yes to marriage. She felt like she could faint and fall through the ocean depths and be glad to die just having made Malachi so happy.

She worried slightly what Luci would think and then a tentical thought slithered its way into her mind. Yasu. Yasu would kill Malachi for sure- or Malachi would kill Yasu. Point being, someone would be dead.

Still, the giggles wouldn’t stop as she pointed it out, “Yasu won’t be too pleased.” Enki nuzzled into his neck, breathing softly, “But I know you’ll triumph in battle.”

                  Malachi held Enki in his arms near tightly as he buried his face in her hair. He softly chuckled in excitement. This really was happening. A wave relief washing as a door had seemingly opened for him. A step forward to moving on with his life but was it too soon. That was what worried him the most, when the excitement wears off, would she reject him? Take back everything she said. He felt his heart sink at the thought but he didn't let it show.

                  He sighed softly to calm his excitement as Enki spoke bringing him back down to earth. Yes, the inevitable duel with Yasu, to uphold Enki's merfolk traditions. Her confidence in him to win the battle brought a smirk to his lips as he lightly pulled away from Enki, lifting her chin up slightly, "Oh you bet I will" He said in his soft smooth tone and alluring eyes. "How about we go up into the surface and celebrate? I did bring drinks"

                  Back in Malachi's room, Luciana sat with her mother on the small couch watching a movie as Kuma sat on her lap. The mother and child spoke in place of physical contact. As much as Ana would love to hold her child, she couldn't. It broke her heart but mend it only slightly as knowing that the child knew that her own mother was watching over her, made it so it didn't hurt so much.

                  It was the peace was broke with the entrance of Eiji. It made Ana jump alittle as she feared that she may have been seen. Luciana looked at Eiji. The room was dark with the glow of the T.V illuminating the room, the child was easily detected her big green eyes that lit up like cat's eyes. "The strange dark lady is there and daddy isn't here so I hid. She's ominously scary" Luciana's eyes flitted over at her mother as the child wondered she should mention her mother's presence as Eiji questioned what she was doing before. "Watching a movie... I'm not alone.. Kuma is here with me Luciana said as she held up the puppy into view. Kuma let out a small bark in a greeting as Eiji came into his view. "I suppose should come to dinner"

The battle would have to be put out of her mind for now, Enki glad that Malachi was quick to distract her with his gaze and the promise of celebrations with drinks. Enki nodded with a smile, though stopped to look around and take in the cave once more. Enki took hold of Malachi’s hand and gave it a squeeze before diving under the water, the cool ocean water embracing them.

Enki swam slowly through the water, trying to savor it all. The night was not long anymore, and she had to take it all in. Her heart was still threatening to burst from her chest, replaying the events of the cave over and over- her face heating the water around her head. She kept looking back to Malachi, a goofy smile spreading each time. Engaged. Marriage. She could scream- but was somehow keeping it in.

Feet from the surface, Enki stopped swimming and looked up at the distorted night sky above. Breaking the surface of the water and going back to land- though it wasn't the end of the night, felt like it was nearing the downhill of it. And she didn't want it to end, but knew that real life was waiting for them. "Can we come back some time?" she thought to him, a hopeful tone to her voice.

❝ Ophelia X Daren❞

██

            Eiji’s words went unheard in Ophelia’s ears as she continued to eat quickly, the food too good and too hot to stop. What if everyone else came in and ate it all first? The thought of more people coming in too…she wanted to be done before that could happen. And so she continued to pull things from the pot and eat.

            Yoshio asked if music would be good and Ophelia stopped her eating to think for a moment- not that if it would be a good idea or not, but if she could even remember songs from this time. Music was not a thing that she had heard in her year away. Was music…good even? She nodded to Yoshio, a nervous smile forming at her thoughts. “S-sure? That would be nice.”

            Eiji started getting up but briefly whispered something to…Szallah?- Ophelia caught her name and felt a slight frown tug at her face. A nervous feeling welled up, but she tried to smile through it. Her hand that rested on the floor next to Yoshio balled up, starting to feel uncomfortable with it all. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea.

                                                        Serenity munched on her hot meal as Dorian told her about his work hours. She glanced at him and raised an eyebrow, realizing what he was hinting at. His hours were normal, but hers were not. She worked late hours so she tended to sleep during the day. But that didn't stop her curiosity when it came to finding out what he did. She pondered for a moment, wondering if she could move a few shifts around with some of the other girls that worked at the restaurants, but she had plenty of time to figure it out since it would take his arm quite a while to heal. At least that is what she thought.

                                                        She chewed and swallowed the bite before shrugging her shoulders. “I can try coming around noon one day, depends on if I can switch my shifts around or not. I tend to work nights so I sleep during the day.” She answered nonchalantly while returning to her meal. “I’ll let you know.” She answered mid-bite and chewed some more, swallowing a couple more bites before she answered. “Wood and Metal sound like fun to play with; hopefully you have enough of those when I come around, right?” She said lightly, reaching over to grab her glass of water to sip on next.

                                                        Serenity turned her blue eyes to look around at the others at the table, watching them with a bored expression. She didn't feel like conversing with anyone else. It didn't really matter since most tenants appeared to be talking amongst each other or focusing on their meals. She didn't mind as the man with the black hat asked if it was okay for music to be played. Music and liquor went well together; too bad she didn't have the latter. She made eye contact with the man before answering him. “I don’t mind, go for it.” She answered quietly, hoping he’d play something nice for the time being. At least until she left.

                                                        Her interests were peaked once more as Dorian questioned her on whether she wanted to play games or not. However she was not sure what a console was. “A what? What’s a console?” She asked, returning to her food to finish it off. She had a curious look on her features, wondering what he was talking about. She may be a princess but that didn't mean she got everything in the whole world. She simply had never been exposed to consoles, as she wasn't an avid TV watcher nor did she go out much in general. She attended balls and partied with her rich friends which meant a lot of dancing, liquor and god knows what else. Nevertheless, games on consoles never came up, hence why she had absolutely no idea what Dorian was talking about. “Is this console thingy fun to play with?” She questioned after taking her last bite of food.

Siverina Camille
Staring too hard in the mirror

For a man, Eiji had a decent mirror. The surface beneath was an organized mess of products which Siverina was pondering over. Her selection of brushes were carefully tended to, her favorite powders and creams at her fingertips... yet she had done her make-up three times already and wasn't happy with the current face staring her in the mirror.

Too careful. Too perfect. She was staring at a stranger. Most days she liked to live like that; her emotions on a shelf as she puppeteered herself through ballrooms and bedrooms. Here though. Here was home. It used to be a place where she could be herself; laugh and love with Eiji, chide Silas, flirt with Malachi to see him smile.

But she had to act like furniture or Szallah would know... and Szallah couldn't know.

She set her lipstick down and moved away from the mirror. She looked to Eiji's bed and gasped slightly as her eyes darted to the time. Ophelia's dress was laid out next to hers and it was already past supper time. The woman moved quickly into the hall and saw everyone gathering for supper. Ophelia was looking uncertainly at Yoshio, who was moving to put on some music. Siverina smiled softly and came up to Ophelia, "Sorry I'm late. I lost track of the time. Eiji is allowing us to use his room to dress if you would like to accompany me." She looked to Yoshio, "We'll be back shortly. Promise. As for music, I vote classical... or Sinatra. Something good for this atmosphere." She tried not to look at the new guest or Szallah.

                                  Eiji stood by door looking at Luciana as she held the small puppy in her arms to show to him. He smiled at the fluffy thing as it appeared to be settling in quite happily in the house. He looked towards the door as Luciana mentioned Death. He sighed as he nodded his head. “I can understand why you’d be afraid of her Luciana…she isn’t a very nice lady. Just don’t talk to her, and if she says anything to you...I’ll handle it. Ophelia and I will be there, you can sit between us.

                                  Eiji opened the door a bit as he looked to the table, with everyone about eating, it almost appeared things were just fine, if it wasn’t for the dark aura of Death at the end of the table. Looking back to Luciana for a moment. He smiled as he extended his hand out to motion her forward. “I don’t think your father would be all too happy with me if we didn’t ensure you had dinner. As soon as you finish you can go back to your movie dear.

                                  With that Eiji lead the count’s daughter to the living room and escorted her on the far side of the table away from Death and in the comfort of those she was used to. Or at least familiar with. Sitting down he prepared a bowl for Luciana, putting in the foods she chose and wanted before giving it to her. He gave her a reassured smile as he ate his own bowl, filled not with the meaty wonders that everyone else had, but with the usual vegan anomalies he ate in substitutes. Eiji poured Luciana drinks to her desire and looking down at a begging puppy, gave a generous puppy friendly portion of dinner for Kuma in his bowl.

                                  Dinner went on, as bowl after bowl was ate, and more and more were put into the pot to feed ever hungry house mates. The music played, sake was poured and light banter was made. All the while Eiji watched to ensure that Death did not cause too much of a ruckus with his housemates, those in his care whom she already were making uneasy. However, as he checked the pot and it was all but empty but a bit of broth, he smiled as he looked about.

                                  It appears we ate the hot pot. And here I thought we’d have leftovers, for tomorrow.” He stood up as he stretched his long limbs and looked about. “Don’t fret about the dishes everyone…I’ll get to them in the morning. I hope you all enjoyed it.” Eiji bowed his head, thankful for his housemates being there, and enjoying the peace that they had, whatever little it was.

                                  As the Kirin began stacking empty plates and bowls he looked to Luciana and towards her room. “Time to prepare for bed Luciana, how about you get your teeth brushed and then you can get back to your movie?” He held a tower of bowls in his hand as he moved to the kitchen and began stacking things up to wash later.

                                  The Kirin had no desire to sleep as he put the kettle on for coffee and tea, for any night owls whom yet to wish to sleep yet. He sighed as he rubbed his eyes. A small cough came up from his chest as he covered his mouth politely. The cold air was getting to him perhaps.

                  Malachi smiled softly as he allowed himself to be lead back into the water and through the underwater tunnel. He swam leisurely alongside Enki, noticing that her pace was much slower than before. He was in no rush to return but he'd had to soon, he couldn't leave his child alone for long. The vampire gave the mermaid a smile everytime she looked back at him. He felt bad that he returned to her natural habitat of the ocean only to take her away from it again but he couldn't bare the thought of anything happening to her.

                  He let take in the last few moments of the ocean before returning to land. Luckily the bag was still there, his phone and everything that was the contents of his pockets. He let out a soft sigh as he rifled through the bag for the drinks he brought and passed one to Enki, making sure to open it as he did. "Of course we can.. although it would be with Luciana next time" Malachi said to her, agreeing to bring her back to the ocean front.

                  With that, they toasted to the engagement and their first date. As time passed one drink turned into another and the pair managed to equally deplete the supply of alcohol and the warmth of the alcoholic liquid began to muddy the vampire's sense causing him to be fairly liberal with the kisses that flustered. He suggested that they should return to the flats however as Malachi got to his feet, his footwork wasn't exactly reliable. He joked that maybe he shouldn't have something to drink since he was the designated 'driver' but quickly assured her that he do his best to keep the mermaid from drying out. He took waistcoat and coat to went to soak them in the water before wrapping it around Enki. That sound slow down the drying.

                  Once he sort everything out, he took Enki in his arms and made his way the fastest he could manage in his tipsy state. On the way home they visited a fair few fountains so the mermaid could re-hydrate herself. It took than before but he got back only to have trouble with the door. Once he figured out how to open it, Malachi fell through the door and on ground in a way so he was Enki's landing pad.

                  "Ah.. we're home"

                  Luciana was hesitate at first about joining Eiji for the hotpot but however she perked up when Eiji mentioned that she wouldn't have to engage in conversation with the stranger. Although one thing that did spark her curiosity was that, Eiji agreed that she wasn't a nice lady. "If she isn't a nice lady then why is she here, eating dinner with us?" Luciana asked innocently and curiously. She puffed her cheeks pondering what to do, whether to give into Eiji's coaxing or to stay put on the sofa. "I suppose, Daddy would be upset if I don't" She said, hesitating before the child slowly climbed off the sofa.

                  She placed Kuma down on the floor and walked over to Eiji, taking a timid hold of the landlord's fingers and followed him to the living room with the puppy in tow. She let him guide her to a spot between him and Ophelia. She politely said please and thankyous to Eiji and politely asked for orange juice for a drink.

                  "You look pretty Miss Siverina" Luciana said to the lady who had come up to Ophelia, her curiosity and admiration for the kindly woman couldn't be helped. The girl smiled before returning to her meal and drink.

                  The little girl silently ate her meal and with Ophelia taken by Siverina to change atleast thats what she overheard. Her big green eyes flitted from corner to corner of the table. Without noone to talk too, Luciana was a slow and shy eater. It upset her that Michiko didn't stay and wondering if her running off cause her to run off since her brother wasn't around either, maybe they went off together.

                  Eventually the hotpot was finished and Luciana had finished the last mouthful of her serving. Upon hearing Eiji telling her to go brush her teeth and return to her movie, Luciana quickly drank the last of her orange juice and jump to her feet. "Thankyou for the food Eiji" She said politely as she bowed lightly before skipping off back to her room, only to let out a soft squeak as she watched her father burst through the door, chuckling softly with Enki on top.

        Dinner continued, and Szallah felt a small comfort as Eiji held on tighter, even with that woman still present across the table. She ate, and enjoyed her meal greatly, up until Eiji leaned in to whisper something, which was not, as she expected, sweet nothings, or even anything about their guest, but rather concerns about Luciana, and an apology. The naga saw him off, and thought she might take his advice, to converse with the two women, guessing Siverina was the woman who stood waiting for him earlier.

        She looked first to Ophelia, whose face shifted quickly to a somewhat uncomfortable smile, and wondered what she might have to say to the woman, who just that morning she had been glaring at through the windows, though that was before her incident. A touchy subject to be sure, she couldn't bring that up. The other woman, Siverina, approached, and Szallah thought she ought to say something to her, at least, until the woman spoke up. There was a hint of something in her voice which brought a spark of recognition, and she recalled what P had mentioned earlier. French… a French accent? Was this the woman he was talking about earlier? She would have done something, anything, but the atmosphere was already so tense with Death and something else hanging over the table, she held her tongue.

        The woman was going, inviting Ophelia with her- to Eiji's room? She supposed that it.. could be innocent enough, with the kirin busy with dinner preparation, amongst other things, he wouldn't be using it, along with his assurance he'd be spending the evening in her room… It didn't calm all of her worries, but she could not act now, as Eiji returned, the young Luciana in tow. Pacified, unwilling to act out in his presence, she continued her meal, but kept it all in mind. Perhaps she would look into it further, when the embodiment of Death did not linger.
        -------

        As dinner reached an end, Szallah partaking in a bit of the home-brewed sake allowed her to ease up just a bit, combined with the anticipation of the evening ahead of her. She admittedly was not sure what to expect, or rather, what would be expected of her, but she knew it meant they could be alone again. No more Death, no disturbances, no mystery women. She watched as Eiji stacked dishes and removed them, covering her utensils with an arm with a little plan in mind as he left.

        As the naga slightly struggled to get herself upright, working against the weight of her tail to straighten it out, she addressed the rest of the table with a pleased little smile. "Well. This has been a lovely dinner, but I think it's about time I retire to my room. Good evening- oh," She looked down with somewhat fake shock at the uncovered utensils and picked them up, turning towards the kitchen. "He must have left these, I'll just bring them into the kitchen…" And her slightly inebriated plan was in motion as she went, setting them down on a counter before moving to Eiji, standing in front of the kettle.

        She came up from behind and slipped a hand around onto his chest, pressing against him slightly so he would know she was there, reaching her other hand around to turn off the kettle he had just started. Szallah stretched up to reach his ear, and cooed, "Don't keep me waiting too long, kirin…" She backed away, letting her hand drag in a caress across him, and moved through towards the basement on a mission, to prepare herself as much as she could before Eiji got there. Passing through, she caught sight of Enki and Malachi back safely, another little worry lifting from her mind as she descended the stairs. She would have to ask the girl all the details tomorrow, for now, she had to get changed and set the right mood in her room.

                                      Yuki nodded, that deal was fair enough, but first she had to make it through the first song. It started up, and the song was pretty fast-paced, and even though she didn't have the difficulty all that high, she still struggled through it, occasionally having to grab the railings behind. Otto seemed to be breezing through it just fine, and she felt envious, more than anything else, that he could get through this without feeling out of breath. Her socked feet slipped around on the pad, contributing to the missed steps, resulting in a C score when the song was over. Panting slightly, she bent down and pulled her slipping thigh-highs back up, then looked to the detective, expecting a great score from his side.

                                      With a joking little pout, Yuki blamed the game, the pad, the song, and her socks for the low score, adding, "I'll beat you this time, okay?" Scanning through the songs, she found one she recognized, a cute and poppy song the mangaka could actually keep up with. She did a lot better this time, knowing most of the steps ahead of time helped, and she could compensate a little bit better for the slipping from her socks. Even with that, the girl was out of breath yet again, mentally cursing herself for being so lazy. The mangaka turned the difficulty down a step for the last song to make it easier on herself, getting an okay score again, then sitting down to pull her socks all the way back up again and putting her shoes back on. "Okay, so maybe it's been longer than I thought since I played… I'm so out of practice- or, out of shape is more like it. Maybe let's play something that doesn't involve a lot of jumping around?"

                                      They moved on to play a few more games, fighting games which Yuki won her small share of, Taiko no Tatsujin, another Yuki was okay at, even a few driving games that the mangaka failed at miserably. When the pair had their fill of fun arcade games, they headed out into the square again, in search of more to do. The girl kept her eyes out for a store where she could get Otto something; a Uflora chain, an electronics store, a shop full of t-shirts- would a t-shirt be a good present? If there wasn't anything better- then a few more shops down, the perfect place, another store full of anime goods. While it would be difficult to figure out what he didn't already have, it was the best place to start looking. She stopped Otto- "I want to go in there, but.. It's for a surprise, okay? So no peeking! I'll be back out here in a little while." - then ran inside the shop to start looking around.

                                      After a while hunting, Yukiko found something that seemed like a safe bet, a keychain blind box from the Magic Heart series- he had a good reaction to it earlier, and maybe it would be a nice little trinket, something he could look at and think of her. She pulled the little box out of the shopping bag and smiled, thinking it might be nice to do this kind of thing more often… a date. Dropping it back in, Yuki stepped outside the store and looked around, trying to find Otto in the crowd..

- - [ Dorian Jenson Ridgewell ] - -

          Dorian took a few bites his meal as he waited for Serenity to respond to him telling her about his work hours, he just swallowed down a mouthful and took a drink of water when she asked somewhat rhetorically about supplies. "We'll just have to see" Dorian said with a small smile before he continued to eat up his serving.

          He make any comment on the purposed idea of playing music to pass the time. Either way he'd hate what was played. Dorian was surprised that Serenity didn't know what a console was. Despite living Japan where technology was everywhere. He gave her a baffled look. "How about I just show you" Dorian said, finding himself completely dumbfounded as to how he should explain what a console was. "Personally I find it fun to play and sometimes it can be fustrating but that mostly because of buggy or online games" Dorian said softly. He finished up his serving, hoping to have a another serving but he noticed Serenity had finished her's and didn't like she was going to refilled.

          After a moment of thought, he threw any regard for Serenity out of the window as he refilled his bowl and grabbed a couple of side dishes before getting to his feet. "Come on, I'll show you" Dorian said grabbing his bowl and showed her to his room but not before he bowed to Eiji slightly as he thanked him to the food of which he eat the rest in his room.

          He really wasn't going to past up another serving he was so darn hungry. He opened the door to his room and went straight to the window to open it since he didn't want his room to stink of food afterwards. "You can come in, I'm not to do to anything.. you can leave the door open if you want.. well atleast close it slightly"

The evening became a warm and hazy blur of drinking, stars and laughter. The two finished the bottles as time took its toll on the night, eventually the two pushing themselves to leave the private sanctuary of the beach and ocean. The journey back was…jolly and perhaps a bit too frivolous as Malachi had a hard time moving his feet- the odd couple stopping by human watering holes along the way back, Enki sadly getting used to fresh-ish water again.

But finally, they made it back, Enki falling through the door with Malachi and landing on him with a grunt and a fit of laughter. The buzz was starting to die down, but the event was hilarious in her mind and she couldn’t help herself in this matter. However, she did drag herself to the waterway easily enough, making a splash as she flopped inside. Rising up, her hair covered all of her face except the wide grin of laughter still bubbling. “Hooo-oooom!” she called out, raising her arms above her head.

“Home is so hot now, compared to real life,” She mumbled sadly, incoherently, hands already going for buttons and straps of her top and removing it quickly. Enki was uncaring of others who may or may not be in the room at that very moment, sighing as she dove under again to try and cool off.

Food, human food, consumed by not only those who possessed a similar title, but by those merely dreamed up, at least in their own view, by humans. S many oddities in the room, coexisting and talking, and eating. It was quite amazing to behold.

What was more amazing, or at least, a bit more interesting, was the presence of the quiet and seemingly shaken young girl at the other side of the table. The time-traveler, Ophelia, if the creature was remembering properly, that was her name. Allowing the fake eyes to lower, DD tuned out the noise and rabble around the room and focused her attention on the girl. Her kind, the time jumpers, skippers, travelers, fallers, cheaters, yes, cheaters, were a thorn in her side. No species was supposed to know how or when they were going to belong to her, however, this old child and her kind, they had the filthy technology to determine when, where, and why, their time of acquisition was.

"Truly disgusting," ]she whispered as she sipped her drink and traced her empty plate with her finger.

~~~~~~
The other plates were soon empty, and the alcohol seemed to subside a bit as well. "Yes, Kirin, it was delicious," it said as it pushed the now empty glass towards the bottle, "Much better than the last meal we shared." Standing, DD watched as Eiji's other half excused herself from the table as well, helping with the dishes before retiring to wherever it slithered out from. "I'm sure he won't," it said with a little wave and a smirk, the beads covering its outfit shifting as she wagged her hand in the air.
"Kirin, I will be out back for a short while before departing."
It could feel the agent in the school trying to steady his nerves. Something had him rattled, and that something was not to get in the way of her plans.
                                  Yasu felt a shiver of earlier fear, but kept his scowl. He wasn’t going to back down to Sera despite the Wyrm could swallow him whole. When the hand came down to smack him, he knew he gone too far, but he was glad his assessment of the Wyrm was incorrect. Yasu have grown to accept Enki acceptance of the humans and even Snazzy professionalism toward them. Sera was the only sea folk he can openly rant about their human housemates. “You know I’ll own up to any of my mistakes, it’s your turns to admit I did not deserve this one.” Yasu replied.
                                  Sensing the conversation change, he put it to rest. “I am an old creature and I live mainly in my room. I do not need to interact with humans to sustain my life.” Yasu answered. When she again spoke about his appearance, he begins to question that point of it. Did he really look that much of a difference. He didn’t feel any difference and will pass this thought to Enki. “I don’t care about my appearance and neither should you. It’s just a cover to trick humankind.” Yasu truthfully dismiss Sera words with a rolled of his eyes. He didn’t see how this appearance was any better than his last. His hair was shorter so he wasn’t tripping over it as much, but with the recent scarring. He doesn’t look menacing or battle worn, just victimizes. “Ours kind don’t come across fire burns. Puncture, rips and tears, and other injuries and sickness we can deal with perfectly fine. Burns just takes slower or not at all.” Yasu frown. He didn’t know how he’ll feel if he have these injuries for the rest of his life. Right now, he was trying his best to not focus on his face and arm.
                                  It was possible that the drugs haven’t left his system completely, but Yasu wasn’t in the mood to eat any of the Hot Pot. Shaking his head to decline Sera offer, “I’ll just meet you at your room. Food can come later.” Yasu turned to leave. He couldn’t remember the last time he has been in Sera room. He respected her privacy and didn’t make it a point to ask to visit.
