If people what some idea of what it's like for your kids, being raised as a single-parent child, I do have experience there. I mean, growing up as a child of a single parent.

Lol, in regards to your unrelated note. That's pretty funny.
True about some though. I don't know how some of them
were given their degrees or their jobs.

So this week, we're throwing one of the moms a baby shower. She never had one before. I'm also invited to one of the other moms showers, she's a single mom now (her S.O. and her didn't work out. We're -the school- trying to get him to complete H.S. and get his education on) and it turns out her mother works with my father. The dad did get a job & plans on being there for their kid, but it's still going to be difficult for her.

Deccer-- That's awesome. I hope she enjoys her shower.
Also good to hear that the father of the other child, stepped
up to be there for the child and decided to get a job.
I wish them both tons of luck on their new adventure of
childbirth and parenting.

It was worth a shot. Maybe trying in the lifestyles again? Ask a mod to get involved so you won't get flamers. I'll be there if you want support for it.
